Abstract

Many airlines still face various problems even though the development of the Indonesian aviation service industry continues to grow. The many choices and considerations in choosing an airline often confuse customers because each airline has its advantages. Air transportation is an option for consumers who want to travel long distances in a shorter time compared to sea and land transportation. The diversity of airlines often makes it difficult for airline users to choose an airline. The purpose of this study is to build a decision support system using the weight product method that can be used to help prospective users make wise airline selection decisions. The weight product method decision support system is one of the decision-making methods that considers several criteria or factor weights. This method is often used in situations where a decision must be made based on several different factors, and each factor has a different weight.

Abstract

Cats are a type of mammal that is popular and widely kept as a favorite pet among the wider community, certainly cat owners want to provide the best quality for their pets, one of the most important of which is cat food. The large selection of types of cat food in modern times makes many cat owners feel confused in choosing cat food that is suitable for their pets. Therefore, a system is needed to provide recommendations for cat owners in determining the type of cat food for their pets. The creation of this system uses the collaborative filtering method, where this method is used to find out recommended food products based on the rating data that has been collected. This system was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database and using Laravel framework. With this system can help cat owners get information about cat food products and with collaborative filtering can make it easier for cat owners to find out which food products are recommended from highest to lowest.

Abstract

In the era of increasingly sophisticated information technology development like today, in accordance with the Vision and Mission of the Mayor of Medan, namely Medan Maju, a new breakthrough in the form of digital innovation is needed. Given the frequent accumulation of files from the report reports of each rank, both ASN, PHL, PPPSU, and the Head of the Environment. and often get complaints from the Head of the Environment behind the high intensity of their work in Medan Petisah District they must also make so many reports in hard copy form, so the author thought of facilitating the work of the Head of Environment while efficiently using Paper at the Medan Petisah Sub-District Office by designing a Web-Based Application namely the Head of Environment Performance Information System (SIJALI) using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which later this application can be accessed with a smartphone or computer through a browser or in the form of a website.

Abstract

New student admission is an important stage in the academic system in elementary schools that affects the effectiveness of administration and transparency of selection. However, in SD Swasta Pengharapan, the new student admission process is still carried out manually, which causes various problems such as inefficient data recording, the risk of losing documents, and delays in delivering information to prospective students and parents. Therefore, this study aims to design and build a web-based New Student Admission Academic Information System using the Structured Analysis and Design Technique (SADT) method to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in managing new student admission data. The SADT method was chosen because of its systematic approach in analyzing and designing the system with clear and structured diagram modeling. This study began with the needs analysis stage, where observations and interviews were conducted with the school to understand the existing problems. Furthermore, the system design was carried out using context diagrams, data flow diagrams (DFDs), and entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs) to describe the data flow and relationships between entities in the system. The system implementation was carried out by building a web-based application that allows the registration process to be carried out online, automatic data verification, and more accurate and faster management of selection results. The results of this study indicate that the developed system is able to increase efficiency in the process of accepting new students, reduce the use of physical documents, and accelerate the delivery of information to prospective students and parents. With this system, the school can manage prospective student data in a more structured and easily accessible manner, thereby improving the quality of academic services at SD Swasta Pengharapan.

Abstract

The Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) is a technology-driven solution designed to enhance healthcare service efficiency by optimizing patient data management and expediting hospital administrative processes. This article discusses the development of SIMRS at Mega Buana Hospital by employing a user-based needs approach and integrating the latest technology to ensure optimal functionality for medical personnel and administrative staff. This research utilizes a needs analysis method, system development following the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) model, including design, implementation, and system performance evaluation. The results indicate that SIMRS significantly improves hospital operational efficiency, minimizes administrative errors in patient data and medical record management, and accelerates patient services across various hospital units.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and develop a school management information system at SMA Insan Madani Palopo. This system is expected to improve efficiency in the management of academic administration, finance, and school staffing. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. The research results show that the developed management information system can enhance efficiency in managing student, teacher, and school activity data. The implementation of a web-based system allows for easier and faster access for all stakeholders

Abstract

Roasted coffee beans release gaseous compounds, primarily carbon dioxide (CO₂). Coffee comes in various types, including Robusta, Arabica, Excelsa, Tubruk, Latte, and Luwak. However, this study focuses only on Robusta and Arabica coffee. Each roast level of coffee beans has its own distinct aroma, necessitating a fast and accurate method to differentiate them. Therefore, this research aims to classify coffee bean roast levels based on their aroma profiles. The dataset for classifying Robusta and Arabica coffee roast levels was obtained from data collection using a miniature Electronic Nose system. A total of 900 data samples were collected, with 720 samples used for training and 180 samples used for testing. This study employs an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) with an Electronic Nose for classification. The True Positive (TP) results obtained for each coffee roast level are 44 for Light roast, 55 for Medium roast, and 57 for Dark roast. The classification accuracy achieved in determining the roast level of coffee beans is 86%.

Abstract

The increasing electricity consumption in the household sector impacts energy efficiency and quality. This research develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart plug to monitor current and voltage, control power via Google Assistant, and detect power outages. The system utilizes current and voltage sensors that transmit data to a dashboard via Blynk Cloud, with an ESP32 microcontroller as the main hub. Power control is performed through Google Assistant and the Blynk dashboard, while power outage notifications are sent via email based on relay voltage values. Test results show that the system accurately monitors current and voltage, including during smartphone battery charging. Power control via the Blynk application has an average delay of 0.18 seconds, whereas control via Google Assistant shows an average delay of 3.4 seconds for activation and 5.26 seconds for deactivation. The system also successfully detects power outages and sends real-time notifications. With these features, the smart plug enhances the efficiency and intelligent management of household electricity consumption.

Abstract

Greeting Standing Flowers are used to convey congratulations or condolences. However, limitations in printed media and competition among artisans necessitate innovation. This study develops a Marker Tracking-based Augmented Reality (AR) application using ZapWorks Studio to display 2D animations, videos, typography, audio, sender contact information, Mecca Florist's social media, and a snapshot feature. The application development follows seven stages, including literature review, design, implementation, and testing. The test results indicate that the application meets the designed functional suitability criteria (x = 1). Usability testing yielded an average score of 90.87% (usefulness: 91.99%, ease of use: 87.8%, ease of learning: 90.85%, and satisfaction: 92.85%). In terms of performance efficiency, the application achieved an 86.67% success rate, with marker detection at angles between 45° and 135° and distances ranging from 200 cm to 400 cm. These results demonstrate that the AR application enhances the interactivity and attractiveness of Greeting Standing Flowers.

Abstract

Lithium-ion battery chargers have become one of the important components in various modern applications, especially in electronic devices and electric vehicles. This study aims to analyze the performance of a lithium-ion battery charger system in terms of charging efficiency, voltage stability, charging current, and safety during the charging process. In this study, the constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) charging methods are used as the basis for analyzing the performance of the charging system. Data were taken through real-time measurements of key parameters such as charging time, temperature changes, and power efficiency under various charging conditions. The results showed that the performance of the charger system was influenced by several factors, including the stability of the power supply and heat management during the charging process. Tests also showed that the CC-CV mode was able to maintain battery safety by preventing overcharge, and provided better charging efficiency at certain voltage ranges. Through this study, it is expected to provide a better understanding of the optimization of lithium-ion battery charger systems to improve overall battery performance and life.
