Abstract

An employee attendance information system is an important tool used to manage and monitor employee attendance effectively. This research aims to design a computerized employee attendance information system for use in a lawyer's office. This system is designed to overcome various problems encountered in manual attendance recording methods, such as human error, inaccurate recording, and difficulties in accessing data in real-time. Designing this system involves analyzing user needs, designing a database, and implementing an intuitive user interface. The methods used include data collection through interviews and observations, analysis of ongoing systems, and design of new systems using tools such as flowcharts and data flow diagrams (DFD). The result of this research is a prototype of an attendance information system that can record employee attendance electronically, generate attendance reports automatically, and provide real-time data access to management. This system is also equipped with a notification feature for employees who are late or absent, as well as integration with the payroll system to make it easier to calculate salaries based on attendance. With this system, it is hoped that law offices can increase efficiency and accuracy in managing employee attendance, reduce administrative burdens, and provide more accurate data for decision making. It is hoped that the implementation of this employee attendance information system can become a model that can be applied in various other law firms, thereby increasing operational standards and professionalism in the legal industry..

Abstract

Various cyberattack threats are sophisticated and reliable detection approaches, as complex and rampant as they are. One outstanding approach is the use of Honeynet, a network simulator that simulates real networks for analysis and detection purposes. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of Honeynet in detecting spyware with alternative detection methods. We conducted experiments where we implemented Honeynet in a simulated network environment that breaks the real network infrastructure. Other detection methods we reference include intrusion detection systems (IDS) based on hands and behaviour. In addition, we also analysed the types of spam most frequently detected by Honeynet. We can identify the most common trends and their characteristics by analysing the attack test results. The research findings show that Honeynet is very effective in detecting certain cyberattacks, especially zero-day attacks and attacks that use new methods that have not been detected by known signatures. However, we also found that behaviour-based detection methods tend to be more effective in detecting attacks that are novel and unexpected

Abstract

Insana Woven Fabric is a local craft originating from NTT whose manufacturing technique is by embroidering this woven fabric made in a maubesi village located in the TTU district area by the UMKM kube motif group. For the sales method, usually directly, namely from home, some are taken to traditional markets or there are several customers who are outside the NTT area who usually place orders through social media such as Facebook, this causes inefficient sales. The shortcomings of the sales method via social media are information about stock items that still have to be updated manually by the admin so that stock information is not necessarily valid due to human error, for the purchase history must also be recorded manually through the comment column or inbox on social media which results in the craft manager having difficulty in managing financial information.  Based on the existing conditions, it is necessary to engineer an Online Sales Application of Typical Local Crafts of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Maubesi Village Case Study. This application is made using android, so that it can be used as an alternative to help the Maubesi village community in selling local handicrafts of the NTT community so that this umkm group is more efficient in the sales process and reaches all buyers inside and outside the NTT area. the method used is waterfall where this implies that the community is more efficient in selling local handicrafts.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged increased efficiency and effectiveness in various fields, including service delivery in notary offices. This research aims to develop and implement WhatsApp bot in the process of registration and monitoring of services at the notary office using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach. The RAD method was chosen because of its ability to produce applications quickly through intensive iteration and prototyping. The developed WhatsApp bot allows users to register for services, organise appointments, and monitor service status in real-time via text messages. The results of this implementation show that the WhatsApp bot can increase convenience and speed in the registration and monitoring process, reduce staff workload, and improve customer experience. The evaluation showed a high level of user satisfaction with the system, with quick responses and more organised services. The implementation of this WhatsApp bot is expected to be a model for the development of similar applications in various other service areas. In this research, it adds a WA BOT feature for customers to conduct consultations without having to come to the office. With this designed application, it can facilitate employees of the Adi Pinem S.H Notary Office in the registration and monitoring process in service services.

Abstract

The development of information technology at this time has grown so rapidly that it encourages various agencies or companies to use information technology to obtain useful information to advance their business. But behind the current technological advances, the processing of distribution and inventory data at PT Andalas Jaya Perkasa still uses a logbook or manual. Where if the data is needed at any time, you have to search among piles of data so that it is difficult to search for data because of the large amount of scattered data, and the data storage process that has not been computerized, this causes frequent data loss, besides that PT. Andalas Jaya Perkasa often experiences difficulties in meeting customer demand which results in inefficient inventory management, this can result in excess or shortage of stock, this condition can have an impact on reducing customer service. Based on the above problems, the authors build a gas distribution and inventory information system application using the distribution requirement planning method and supported using supply chain management strategies to improve the quality of service to customers at PT Andalas Jaya Perkasa optimally.

Abstract

In the era of sophisticated technology that brings many changes in various aspects of life, technological developments also have an impact in the field of education. Quality and quality assurance can be seen and measured from the level of student satisfaction during the lecture process and the services provided by academic staff to students. In the implementation of the distribution of academic service evaluation questionnaires at Timor University, they still use paper questionnaires that are distributed to students to be filled in. This results in inefficient time in filling out the questionnaire and requires large costs because it still uses paper media. So a system is needed to handle these problems so that the process of filling out questionnaires can be done centrally in 1 database that has been integrated with a computer system. In some previous studies, the system built in terms of features is quite complete but can only be accessed by 2 users, namely students and the person in charge of the academic section. The account list feature itself by students. So based on the description of the background explanation of the problem in the previous paragraph, a web-based application is needed to handle these problems, namely "E-Questionnaire Evaluation of Academic Service Quality (EKLA) at Timor University Using the Prototype Method". It is hoped that in the future the application built by the author will be useful in academic service activities at Timor University.

Abstract

Nowadays watches have become important items that are effective in telling time and complementing your appearance. Along with the rapid development of information technology, watches with various brands, specifications and prices have emerged. As a result, people become confused in choosing due to various considerations, so a calculation method that produces a ranking assessment to help in choosing a watch is needed. Therefore, research was carried out using the SAW and SMART methods, both of which are included in the Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) which can calculate various alternatives and attributes. Based on the research results, it was found that the SAW and SMART methods showed similar top rankings with the suitability level of the SAW method with 99.53033% and the SMART method with 99.42684%.

Abstract

In recent years, there has been an increase in smartphone ownership among school-aged children. This increase was influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic, which caused restrictions on outdoor activities and activity adjustments such as online learning. Even though the Covid-19 pandemic is now over, children spend more time at home with their smartphones. Meanwhile, playing and learning outdoors is very beneficial for their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Therefore, EksFlorasi exists as a solution in the form of a mobile-based educational application to encourage children to explore nature around them and learn about flora dan fauna using their smartphones. To support EksFlorasi, a web API was designed and developed using the waterfall method. The API functions as the mobile app’s back-end component and was built using Node.js with the Express JS framework and implemented REST (REpresentational State Transfer). The RESTful API was then deployed using Google Cloud Platform’s cloud computing services to make EksFlorasi accessible to users across Indonesia with the lowest latency possible. To ensure that the RESTful API functions as intended, the deployment on Google Cloud Platform utilized a combination of Cloud Run, Cloud SQL and Cloud Storage services. Based on the research results, the RESTful API which has been successfully developed and deployed on Google Cloud Platform is functioning well and able to deliver optimal performance for up to 50 concurrent users.

Abstract

Currently, Twitter or X social media has become a popular social media for interacting and providing opinions on trending events. The opinion that is still widely discussed is the phenomenon of student suicide. With the many opinions on Twitter social media about the phenomenon of student suicide, this creates a dilemma about the phenomenon of student suicide, whether student suicide is a positive or negative behavior. For this reason, sentiment analysis was carried out to group opinions on Twitter social media. In analyzing this sentiment, the Naive Bayes algorithm is used, which is a data mining algorithm that has the advantage of being easy in the calculation stage. The rapidminer application is used to analyze opinions on Twitter social media. The results obtained by the Naive Bayes algorithm provide an accuracy of 60%. Sentiment analysis shows that there are 41% of opinions that have positive sentiment values ​​and there are 59% of opinions that have negative sentiment values. So the majority of opinions about student suicide on Twitter social media have negative sentiment values. In collecting opinion data, it also shows that the words news people and semarang are words that are often written on Twitter social media.

Abstract

Rice plant diseases are all diseases that occur in rice plants. One of the factors that causes rice productivity to decrease is disease that attacks rice plants. This research aims to design a web-based expert system for handling rice plant diseases using the  Case Based Reasoning (CBR) method. The CBR method solves new problems by referring to solutions from previous cases through four main steps: retrieve, reuse, revise, and retain. Data was collected through interviews with experts and literature studies, then analyzed using CBR. The design process involves the use of PHP programming, while system testing is carried out to ensure compliance with the design. This system allows users to diagnose rice plant diseases based on input symptoms, such as Brown Planthoppers, Stem Mover Pests, Blast, and Sheath Blight, with a high level of accuracy. With this system, it is hoped that farmers can handle diseases in rice plants more efficiently, thereby increasing productivity and reducing losses. This system was built with 4 diseases with 18 symptoms that have different weights determined by experts. Case-Based Reasoning was developed from a similarity-based learning system. Based on Case-Based Reasoning method calculations, the similarity to brown planthopper disease was 0.84, stem mover was 0.85, blast was 0.46 and sheath blight was 0.85.
