Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat
PaKMas (Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) diterbitkan oleh Yayasan Pendidikan Penelitian Pengabdian Masyarakat adalah peer-reviewed journal yang memuat artikel-artikel ilmiah dari berbagai disiplin ilmu yang diadopsi dalam berbagai aktivitas pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan penelitian terapan lainnya. Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal PaKMas meliputi hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di jurnal PaKMas maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. PaKMas menerima naskah artikel dalam bidang riset terapan dan hilirisasi hasil penelitian ilmiah kuantitatif maupun kualitatif berbasis komunitas kedalam format pengabdian masyarakat yang mencakup bidang keilmuan yang relevan mencakup: 1. <![CDATA[The daily use of plastic among the public can cause plastic waste and there are dangers arising from the use of plastic waste. The lack of understanding about the dangers of plastic waste in society is the goal of the activities carried out in this study. One thing that can be done to overcome this problem is to socialize to the public about plastic waste and its dangers and to manage plastic waste to find alternative solutions in accordance with applicable regulations. In the understanding indicator variable that has been determined, the quantitative method is used by conducting a pre-test and post-test. The results of these activities showed that 26% of respondents did not understand the dangers of plastic waste. After socialization activities, it was found that more than 60% of respondents experienced an understanding of the dangers of plastic waste. From this it can be said that the activities carried out in this study are right on target and in accordance with the researchers' objectives that the community can create a good environment and is able to create a healthier environment and can prevent or be able to avoid pollution and the dangers of waste.]]>

<![CDATA[Clean and healthy living behavior problems are most often found at the group level, for example in Islamic boarding schools. Some diseases can occur due to poor PHBS problems, such as skin problems, digestive problems, and even serious illnesses such as hepatitis. The results of observations at the X Kubu Raya Islamic boarding school found that there was insufficient lighting, a less conducive room atmosphere, and even other hygiene problems due to not having good cleand and healthy living behavior discipline. The Purposes of This Study aims to increase knowledge and understanding of cleand and healthy living behavior for students so that there is a behavior change and they can practice it in their daily lives at a boarding school in Kubu Raya Regency. The Methode of This study is quantitative research with an analytic descriptive approach. The number of samples taken was 30 people. Each respondent was given a questionnaire. The results are analyzed up to the frequency data. The average Hygiene knowledge before the education programs, 83% of respondents had low knowledge, 43% of students had low knowledge of washing their hands, and 80% of respondents had low knowledge about the hygiene of their homes. After educating the students' knowledge about personal hygiene, 77% of the respondents had high knowledge, 80% of the students had high knowledge about washing their hands, and 83% of the respondents had high knowledge about the cleanliness of their homes. <![CDATA[Hans Snack and Cake is an MSME that produces various kinds of snacks consisting of tart cakes, pastries and bread. The potential of MSMEs is in demand by many consumers so they have high sales, but there is still a low understanding of financial management which causes MSMEs not to know their financial position. This service provides training on the importance of financial recording with the aim of enabling MSMEs to see financial performance and be able to divide budgets effectively so that they are more structured and mature. Training provided regarding Cost of Goods Production Reports (HPP) and Profit and Loss Reports. The methods used were interviews, observation and training programs. The success of this service provides benefits for students, MSMEs and is able to encourage MSMEs to improve financial management. Community involvement in this service is the key to the success of this program.]]>

<![CDATA[Lifestyle changes that occur in society to unhealthy lifestyles are the driving force for the emergence of various diseases that can affect the body's metabolism, one of which is gout. The aim of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of the people of RT 02 RW 05 Kelurahan Banjarmlati Kecamatan Mojoroto Kota Kediri regarding the use of rosella plants to prevent gout. The method used is direct lecture and practical methods. The pre-test and post-test are carried out in the form of 5 true or false statements. The statements in the pre-test and post-test are adjusted to the material presented, namely the meaning of uric acid, limits for purine consumption, normal levels of uric acid, and prevention that can be done. The results of this activity showed that there was an increase in community knowledge, namely that from a total of 21 residents, the average number of people who answered correctly was 74.44% in the pre-test, and increased to 90.46% in the post-test. This community service activity is carried out by utilizing plants that residents can find around where they live as an alternative to preventing gout, so for the community this activity is very effective for them to do every day.]]>

<![CDATA[Taxes are the main source of state revenue. Around 70-80 percent of state revenue comes from taxation so this certainly makes tax revenue the spearhead for state revenue. If state revenue does not reach the target, it will certainly hamper national development. The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) will try to improve taxpayer compliance both voluntarily and through law enforcement, namely tax checks. The target of this community service activity is all employees and leaders of PT Bank Central Asia, Tbk. Rahadi Usman Pontianak Sub-Branch Office where most employees still do not understand and understand about the voluntary disclosure program. In particular, this community service activity is aimed at all employees consisting of 11 employees. This activity is held based on needs and increases the knowledge and ability of employees by providing socialization. After the socialization was submitted, the staff found it helpful, understood and finally began to check each annual tax reporting to ensure that the reporting of their assets was in accordance with the actual situation. Their awareness began to increase and considered every reporting using this self-assessment method as an important thing to build good awareness as taxpayers who are responsible for their country so that the country's development can be better thanks to contributions from taxpayers.]]>

<![CDATA[In order to accelerate and increase investment and business capital, Government Regulation Number 24 of 2018 concerning Electronic Integrated Business Licensing Services was drafted. Based on this policy, all service permits try to be integrated by the center through one system, namely Online Single Submission (OSS). OSS is a licensing service system that aims to streamline licensing efforts and create an integrated licensing service model that is fast, cheap and provides certainty. The Banggai Regency Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Service is one of the regional government agencies in Banggai Regency which implements a one-stop service system as an official agency specifically tasked with providing licensing services that directly touch the community, one of which is the Business Licensing Service through OSS. The aim of implementing this activity is to provide strengthening of the apparatus in improving the quality of Business Licensing Services through OSS efficiently and effectively. The implementation method used in this activity is using a mentoring method aimed at the Banggai Regency Investment and One Stop Integrated Services Service. The implementation includes several stages, namely starting from observation, coordinating with officers in the Licensing and Business Services sector, then assistance is carried out at the office of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Service, accompanied directly by officers. The results of the implementation of the Electronically Integrated Online Single Submission (OSS) Business Licensing Service at the Banggai Regency One Stop Integrated Service Investment Service have been implemented, but there are still obstacles in conveying information that have not been fully accepted by the public. Through this activity, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of the Implementation of Business Licensing Services through (OSS).]]>

<![CDATA[The problem in the world today, especially in developing countries, is stunting or slow growth for children of the same age. Stunting is caused by multidimensional factors, such as a lack of nutritional intake, which can impact the level of intelligence, so nutritious food is needed, which can prevent stunting. Rambong Village is a village that has regional potential and is rich in Moringa plants and tempeh production. These two ingredients are full of nutritional potential; tempeh contains vegetable protein, which is very easy to access. Moringa leaves are used in malnutrition, such as improving breast milk (breast milk). This huge potential is utilized to make nugget products such as Supplementary Feeding (PMT). Nuggets are made because this food is a favorite among the people. This activity was carried out at Meunasah Baro, Rambong Village, Beuracan, Meuredu District, Pidie Jaya Regency on June 12, 2023. Thirty mothers and 15 children attended this activity. This activity was carried out by delivering material related to stunting and efforts to prevent stunting from occurring through PMT. From the service that has been carried out, community participation is obtained in utilizing local food to be processed into additional food to meet nutritional adequacy.]]>

<![CDATA[Community service in the form of socialisation of the formation of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Parumasan Village, Cipeucang District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. The methods of community service are lectures, questions and answers, and discussions. The lecture method provides basic information, the question and answer method provides opportunities for clarification, and the discussion method allows participants to actively participate in developing their understanding and contributing new ideas. Thus, the community has a better chance to understand, support, and be actively involved in the development of BUMDes in their village. The objective of this socialisation is to increase the knowledge and awareness of the village community on the benefits of BUMDes in improving their welfare. The outcome of the socialisation encourages active community participation in the ownership and management of the BUMDes, so that it does not only belong to the village apparatus, but also to the entire village community. In addition, village officials and the community were also involved in the preparation of the BUMDes organisational structure. With this socialisation, it is hoped that the Parumasan village community can better understand the important role of BUMDes in local economic development and improving their own welfare.]]>

<![CDATA[The implementation of technology-based learning is currently increasingly developing, so teachers need to increase their competence in developing learning media. This community service activity is carried out through training methods. This training activity aims to increase teacher competency in learning through microlearning training with Google Sites. The target of this activity is the MA Al Ikhlas Berbah teacher. This microlearning training with Google sites was attended by 17 MA Al Ikhlas Berbah teachers and was carried out from June to July 2023 with 5 stages of activities including 1) surveys and permits in the form of observing learning needs and implementation; 2) socialization includes explanation of planned training activities; 3) training related to the explanation and practice of microlearning with Google sites; 4) monitoring and assisting in the creation of microlearning-based learning media using Google Sites and 5) evaluating the implementation of training. The results of this service in the form of training activities are increasing the competency of MA Al Ikhlas Berbah teachers through microlearning training with Google sites which can be seen from the pretest and posttest results which have increased to 97.75% in understanding the implementation of microlearning in learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Stunting is a child who experiences impaired growth and development caused by prolonged malnutrition and recurrent disease, thus affecting the child's height and length (BPS, 2021). Data from SSGI in 2022 showed that the number of stunted children in Tual City was 24.9 percent. The results of our initial survey in Tamedan Village showed that there were 28 stunted toddlers, 4 LBW babies, 30 malnourished toddlers, 83 babies and toddlers who routinely conducted monthly growth and development checks, 3 mothers who gave birth too close together, and 1 unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. The implementation of this PkM activity was carried out in Tamedan Village, Tual City, the implementation time was in August 2023. The participants who participated in this activity were all mothers who had children under five years old, totaling 28 people. The methods we used in this community service activity included counseling and demonstrations on how to process nutritious food. PkM results: stunting can be prevented and overcome by the way mothers during pregnancy must consume or eat nutritious foods and mothers must remain healthy or in good condition. Parenting such as providing nutritious food that suits the needs of children can prevent stunting. Processing food in the right way can maintain food nutrition. Mothers in Tamedan Village gain additional knowledge about how to prevent stunting, know the right parenting patterns and how to process food properly.]]>
