Abstract

Some problems in mastering vocabulary in students are very diverse, ranging from errors in spelling, pronunciation, and choosing the right words in writing and speaking. This study aims to analyze the increase in vocabulary mastery related to pronouns: subjective, objective and possessive adjectives in grade VII MTs students. through the use of wordwall learning media. This research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 24 students of class VII, with details of 10 boys and 14 girls. Data collection techniques using tests and non-tests. The results of the data analysis showed that the average score of the students' vocabulary test in the first cycle was 66.00 and the average value of the students' vocabulary test in the second cycle was 81.00. Cycle II has increased by 15.00. So, student learning outcomes on vocabulary mastery related to pronouns: subjective, objective and possessive adjectives through the use of wordwall media in grade VII MTs students increased. The research implication is that English teachers are expected to use wordwall learning media because it can improve vocabulary mastery related to pronouns: subject, object and possessive. ABSTRAKBeberapa permasalahan dalam penguasaan vocabulary pada siswa sangatlah beragam mulai dari kesalahan pada pengejaan, pengucapan, dan pemilihan kata yang tepat dalam menulis maupun berbicara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan penguasaan vocabulary terkait pronouns:subjective, objective dan possessive adjective pada siswa kelas VII MTs. melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran wordwall. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII berjumlah 24 orang dengan rincian 10 orang putra dan dan 14 orang putri. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan nontes. Hasil analisis data nilai rata-rata tes vocabulary siswa pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 66,00 dan nilai rata-rata tes vocabulary siswa pada siklus II yaitu sebesar 81,00. Siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 15,00. Jadi, hasil belajar siswa pada penguasaan vocabulary terkait pronouns:subjective, objective dan possessive adjective melalui penggunaan media wordwall pada siswa kelas VII MTs meningkat. Implikasi penelitian diharapkan guru bahasa Inggris untuk menggunakan media pembelajaran wordwall karena dapat meningkatkan penguasaan vocabulary terkait pronouns:subject, object dan possessive .

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the application of play and to describe the increase in cognitive abilities in group A children of TKN Kepanjenkidul I Blitar City. The lack or low cognitive ability of children in terms of playing with blocks in group A children at TKN Kepanjenkidul I Blitar City. This study used classroom action research which was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The application of playing blocks can improve cognitive abilities seen from the first cycle of the first meeting the teacher's activity obtained 61.5% and the child's activity was 69.5% the child's attitude value 37.5% the child's knowledge value 31.25% the children's skill score 50% improved at the meeting 2. Meeting 2 teacher activities get 69.5%, children's activities 61.5% the value of the child's attitude 31.25% the value of the child's knowledge 31.25% the value of the child's skill 56.25% because it has not reached completeness then it is corrected in cycle 2. Results Cycle II, the first meeting of teacher activities, obtained 76.92% of children's activities, 69.23% of children's attitudes, 62.5% of children's knowledge, 68.75% of children's skills, 75% of children's skills. In the second meeting, teacher activities were 100%, children's activities were 92.3%, attitude values ??were 81.25%, knowledge values ??were 93.75%, and children's skills were 93.75%. The conclusion is that the application of playing blocks can increase teacher activity and children's activities as well as the cognitive abilities of group A TK Negeri Kepanjenkidul I, Kepanjenkidul District, Blitar City. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini mendiskrisikan penerapan bermain dan mendiskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan kognitif pada anak kelompok A TKN Kepanjenkidul I Kota Blitar. Minimnya atau rendahnya kemampuan kognitif anak dalam hal bermain balok pada anak kelompok A di TKN Kepanjenkidul I Kota Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus masing-masing siklus terdiri 2 pertemuan setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penerapan bermain balok dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif terlihat dari pada siklus I pertemuan pertama aktivitas guru memperoleh 61,5% dan aktivitas anak 69,5% nilai sikap anak 37,5% nilai pengetahuan anak 31,25% nilai ketrampilan anak 50% diperbaiki pada pertemuan 2. Pertemuan 2 aktivitas guru memperoleh 69,5%, aktivitas anak 61,5% nilai sikap anak 31,25% nilai pengetahuan anak 31,25% nilai ketrampilan anak 56,25% karena belum mencapai ketuntasan maka diperbaiki pada siklus 2. Hasil siklus II pertemuan pertama aktivitas guru memperoleh 76,92% aktifitas anak 69,23% nilai sikap anak 62,5%, nilai pengetahuan anak 68,75% nilai ketrampilan anak 75%. Pertemuan 2 aktivitas guru 100%, aktivitas anak 92,3% nilai sikap 81,25% nilai pengetahuan 93,75%, nilai ketrampilan anak 93,75%. Kesimpulan bahwa dengan penerapan bermain balok dapat mening katkan aktivitas guru dan aktivitas anak serta kemampuan kognitif kelompok A TK Negeri Kepanjenkidul I Kecamatan Kepanjenkidul Kota Blitar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' difficulties in understanding the material about Natural Sciences. Based on this, the use of the Project Based Learning model is expected to improve students' ability to solve questions about energy sources for class IV at SD Negeri 2 Sabdodadi. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Sabdodadi. The object of this research is the use of the Project Based Learning model to improve understanding of the content of science lessons. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The cycle is stopped when the indicators of research success have been achieved. Data collection methods used in this study were observation, questionnaires, and tests. Research instruments in the form of observation sheets, questionnaires and test questions. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the use of the Project Based Learning model could improve students' understanding of the content of the fourth grade science lesson at SD Negeri 2 Sabdodadi. This can be seen from the results of the learning completeness pre-cycle with an average value of 30%. After the action was taken using the Project Based Learning model, the results of the first cycle of research were complete learning with an average value of 50%. The results of the second cycle of study completeness study with an average value of 80%. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi tentang Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penggunaan model Project Based Learning diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal tentang sumber energi kelas IV di SD Negeri 2 Sabdodadi. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Sabdodadi. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model Project Based Learning untuk meningkatkan pemahaman muatan pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refeksi. Siklus dihentikan apabila indikator keberhasilan penelitian telah tercapai. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, angket, dan tes. Instrument penelitian berupa lembar observasi, angket dan soal tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam muatan pelajaran IPA kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Sabdodadi. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari hasil prasiklus ketuntasan belajar dengan nilai rata-rata 30%. Setelah dilakukan tindakan dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning hasil penelitian siklus I ketuntasan belajar dengan nilai rata-rata 50%. Hasil penelitian siklus II ketuntasan belajar dengan nilai rata-ataa 80 %.

Abstract

Motivation is often a problem faced in the world of education. There are several things that cause a lack of student motivation, one of which is the presentation of learning materials that are less attractive and tend to be monotonous. Learning that is not interesting and monotonous will result in students being reluctant to pay attention, and preferring to play or do other activities while learning is in progress. If this continues, it will be able to affect student achievement. In this study, the researcher wanted to know the effect of comics media in increasing students' motivation and learning achievement using the descriptive method of Interrelationship Studies. With data collection techniques by observation and objective tests. At the time of the study, it was found that there was a significant effect on increasing students' motivation and learning achievement after using comics media. Students' motivation and learning participation increased by 39.39% in the first cycle, while in the second cycle there was an increase of 45.45%. This increase in motivation is in line with the increase in student achievement, namely 41.41% on the first daily test and 46.46% on the second daily test. ABSTRAKMotivasi sering menjadi masalah yang dihadapi dalam dunia pendidikan. Ada beberapa hal yang menjadi penyebab kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa, salah satunya adalah penyajian materi pembelajaran yang kurang menarik dan cenderung monoton. Pembelajaran yang tidak menarik dan monoton akan mengakibatkan siswa menjadi enggan untuk memperatikan, dan lebih suka bermain atau mengerjakan kegiatan lain saat pembelajaran sedang berlangsung. Jika hal ini terus berlanjut akan dapat berpengaru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti ingin mengetahui pengaruh media komik dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa menggunakan metode deskriptif Studi Hubungan (Interrelationship Studies). Dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara observasi dan tes objektif. Pada saat penelitian ditemukan adanya pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa setelah menggnakan media komik. Motivasi dan partisivasi belajar siswa meningkat sebesar 39,39 % pada siklus satu, sedangkan pada siklus dua ada peningkatan 45,45 %. Peningkatan motivasi ini sejalan dengan peningkatan prestasi hasil belajar siswa yang dicapai, yaitu 41,41% pada ulangan haruan pertama dan 46,46 % pada ulangan harian kedua.

Abstract

Editorial text writing skills require students' ability to process data, facts, and other references to be criticized and given responses and solutions. This study aims to 1) get an overview of the learning process for writing editorial texts in class XII MIPA 5 using inductive thinking models through documentary films and 2) find out the effectiveness of learning models for inductive thinking through documentary films in improving the ability to write editorial texts for grade XII MIPA 5 students. The type of research used is collaborative CAR which is carried out in two cycles through the stages of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. Data were collected through observation and test techniques. Data analysis was carried out interactively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/data verification. This research can be said to be successful if it has met the average score of at least 80 with the number of students who have completed at least 90%. The results showed 1) the learning process went smoothly, problems that arose in cycles 1 and 2 could be resolved properly, 2) the average score increased from 70.3 to 89.2, and 3) the percentage of students completed increased from 27 .8% to 94.4%. Because the indicators of success are met, it can be concluded that the application of the inductive thinking learning model through documentary films can improve student learning outcomes in class XII MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Garut in writing editorial texts. ABSTRAK Keterampilan menulis teks editorial memerlukan kemampuan siswa dalam mengolah data, fakta, dan referensi lain untuk dikritisi dan diberikan tanggapan serta solusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendapatkan gambaran proses pembelajaran menulis teks editorial di kelas XII MIPA 5 menggunakan model berpikir induktif melalui film dokumenter dan 2) mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran berpikir induktif melalui media film dokumenter dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks editorial siswa kelas XII MIPA 5. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah PTK kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi data. Penelitian ini dapat dikatakan berhasil apabila sudah memenuhi rata-rata nilai minimal 80 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas minimal 90%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) proses pembelajaran berlangsung dengan lancar, permasalahan yang muncul pada siklus 1 dan 2 dapat teratasi dengan baik, 2) rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 70,3 menjadi 89,2, dan 3) persentase jumlah siswa tuntas meningkat dari 27,8% menjadi 94,4%. Karena indikator keberhasilan terpenuhi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berpikir induktif melalui film dokumenter dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XII MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Garut dalam menulis teks editorial.
