Abstract

Introduction: Sanitation is one of the problems faced by Indonesia. One of the government's efforts to overcome it is through the National Community-Based Total Sanitation (CBTS) program. Taman Sari District has the lowest achievement of Proper Sanitation in West Jakarta City, which is equal to 83.7%, out of 35,147 households there are still 5698 households who practice open defecation or 16.2%. Objective: This study aims to find out the Evaluation Overview of the CBTS Pillar 1 program Stop Open Defecation (SOD) at the Tamansari District Health Center in 2022. Method: This type of research is descriptive analytic with qualitative methods, with a total sample of 6 people, consisting of the Head of the Public Health Center, three Sanitarians, 1 village chief, 1 Sanitarian from the West Jakarta Health Office. Result and Discussion: Based on the research results, it was found that the planning process was good in terms of process and budget availability, but still needed improvement in the quality of officers and policy implementation. Conclusion: In the implementation process it is necessary to have new strategic interventions both during socialization, triggering, verification and declaration by involving cross-sectors and related programs, then for the monitoring and control process it is recommended to carry out evaluations related to changes in community behavior, especially open defecation.

Abstract

Introduction: Mental health is one of the most important health problems in the world, including in Indonesia. People still have a low understanding of mental disorders. Objective: to determine the relationship between knowledge and community stigma with the level of family efficacy in treating mental disorders in the Barong Tongkok Health Center Work Area. Methods: The research design is a descriptive correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The population in the Working Area of ??the Barong Tongkok Health Center is 82 people. Using total sampling. The statistical test used is Chi-Square. Result and Discussion: There is a relationship between knowledge and family efficacy in treating mental patients (?-value = 0.00). There is a relationship between community stigma and the level of family efficacy in treating mental patients (?-value = 0.01). Conclusion: The stigma created by society towards people with mental disorders indirectly causes families or people around people with mental disorders to be reluctant to provide proper treatment

Abstract

Introduction: Integrated Development Post of Non-Convenient Diseases is an activity for early detection and monitoring of risk factors for Non-Communicable Diseases that is oriented towards promotive and preventive efforts, from data on 593 patient visits during the pandemic era at the Sekolaq Darat District Health Centre, more than 92% were included in the Non-Communicable Diseases category and only 39% of sufferers of Non-Communicable Diseases attended the Integrated Non-Communicable Diseases Guidance Post. Objective: This study aims to describe and examine the relationship between variables, namely factors related to the use of Non-communicable Disease Integrated Development Posts in the Pandemic Era. Methods: The research design is a descriptive correlation with a cross-sectional approach. The statistical test used is nonparametric with Chi-Square. Results and Discussion: The relationship between knowledge, support from health workers, family support, and attitudes with the utilization of Integrated Development Post of Non-Convenient Diseases obtained p-value = 0.00<0.05 and the relationship between work and utilization of Integrated Development Post of Non-Convenient Diseases obtained p-value = 0.09>0.05. Conclusion: Knowledge, support from health workers, family support and attitudes are factors related to the utilization of the Non-Communicable Diseases Integrated Development Post

Abstract

Introduction: Oxygen is a chemical substance needed by patients for treatment and or the healing process. To maintain the availability of oxygen so that it is always in an effective and efficient amount, always try in a safe condition. However, in practice, there are sometimes problems related to availability in the warehouse, such as vacancies. Methods: This research is descriptive qualitative research. The informants in this study were 9 people who were obtained using a purposive sampling technique. Result and Discussion: The results of this study describe that Human Resources still need to be added, there is a delay in goods from the supplier. Control is hampered and requires more time due to the increase in COVID-19 patients, and the output component, namely the availability of oxygen in the warehouse, is experiencing a shortage. Conclusion: The availability of oxygen, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, is certainly unavoidable where the need increases, but several things can hinder the availability of oxygen, including delays in goods from suppliers. Control is hampered and requires more time due to the increase in COVID-19 patients.

Abstract

Introduction: The inability to drink in LBW is caused by weak sucking muscle ability and unstable oral ability and swallowing and breathing on LBW babies influenced by maturity of the structure of the brain and cranial nerves. The LBW babies taken care does not suck directly on the mother's breast, this is because the mother and baby are taken care for separately. Objective: To analyze the effect of Pre-Feeding Oral Stimulation on the sucking ability of LBW Babies in the NICU Room at Harapan Insan Sendawar General Hospital. Method: This study used experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test. The population in this study were all LBW infants who were treated in the NICU room. Results and Discussion: The result of research was gained that the average of baby's sucking ability before oral stimulation was 2.67 where the lowest value of sucking ability is 0 and the highest value of sucking ability was 6. The average of baby's sucking ability after oral stimulation is 3.73 where the lowest value of sucking ability was 1 and the highest value of sucking ability was 7. The Statistical test results by conducting Wilcoxon T test were found that the P value was 0.01. So, the p-value (0.01) is smaller than the alpha value (0.05), it means that the null hypothesis is rejected. Conclusion: There is an effect of Pre-Feeding Oral Stimulation on the Sucking Ability of LBW Babies in the NICU Room at Harapan Insan Sendawar General Hospital in the year 2022.

Abstract

Introduction: Family planning is a program that contributes to the improvement of women's health by reducing maternal mortality, abortion, freedom of choice and empowerment of women, reduction of subsequent female fertility, and is a program that aims to inform the people through a set of actions and attitudes (clinics and health practices) to guide as to contraception. Methods:  This research uses a qualitative and quantitative approach, descriptive and field, held in Formosa Public Health Center, Dili. Results and Discussion: The result reveals that women in the age group with the highest expression in this research is 20 to 24 years old, hold an educational level with higher education about 30.5%. Emphasizing that more than half of the participants reported that they do not have information and only 13.7% getting information by personal health professionals. Regarding knowledge, most of participants did not obtain information regarding family planning and more less 51.5% had reasons to adhere to family planning is to prevent pregnancy. Factors that influencing the decision of the participants, mostly (94.0%) did not mention any factor as its decision. In terms of the type of use, 63.6% prefer the injectable method and almost 66.7% lamented some side effects such as dizziness and headaches and menstrual disorders, although they continue to use after consultation to a doctor or midwife. Conclusion: Finally, the duration of use about one-third of participants used about a year and 28.8% are new customers.

Abstract

Introduction: A frozen shoulder is a medical condition that causes pain and stiffness in the shoulder, limiting mobility and daily activities. Traditional therapy is not always effective, so acupuncture therapy is an alternative that can improve joint function and mobility. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the benefits of acupuncture therapy in cases of frozen shoulders. Method: The research method used is a case study with a pre-post test design. The research sample consisted of five patients with frozen shoulder. Result and Discussion: The therapy was carried out three times, and the acupuncture points used were LI 15, LI 14, SI 9, SI 10, SI 11, SI 12, and GV16. The variables observed were the level of pain and stiffness in the shoulder before and after acupuncture therapy. Conclusion: The results showed that acupuncture therapy for treating frozen shoulder showed significant changes, with an average previous VAS scale of 4.8 to 0.6, so it can be concluded that acupuncture has been proven effective as an alternative therapy for frozen shoulder cases

Abstract

Introduction: Neck pain is one of the health problems that exist in modern society. Neck pain is one of the main musculoskeletal disorders in the adult population, where the prevalence in the world ranges from 16.7% to 75.1%. In Indonesia, every year, around 16.6% of the adult population complains of neck disorders, of which 0.6% start with discomfort in the neck and progress to severe neck pain. Objective: This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the role of acupuncture in specific neck pain cases caused by cold-weather pathogens. Method: The research design used a qualitative approach with a case study type and was conducted in March–AApril 2023. Result and Discussion: The acupuncture points used were Feng Chi (GB 20), Tian Zhu (BL 10), Jianjing (GB 21), Dazhu (BL 11), Extra Xinshe, and Jianzhongshu (SI 15). The results of this study showed that participants felt pain at the beginning on a scale of 8 before changing to a scale of 1 and 5, and the neck and shoulders no longer felt stiff. Conclusion: And the participants can sleep comfortably and are not disturbed by pain because the complaints they feel have improved.

Abstract

Introduction: Gastric disease, or gastric pain, is discomfort in the pit of the stomach, including nausea, vomiting, feeling full in the stomach, bloating, and belching. The main causes of gastric pain are irregular eating patterns, not being able to manage stress, consumption of alcohol and cigarettes, ulcers in the stomach, and side effects of anti-inflammatory drugs. Gastric pain treatment can be done in conventional and traditional ways. Traditional medicine by means of acupuncture is a treatment technique that involves inserting special needles into certain points. Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect of acupuncture therapy on Zhong Wan (CV 12), Zu San Li (ST 36), Qimen (LR 14), Taichong (LR 3), Weishu (BL 21), and Neiguan (PC 6) points of patients with gastric pain at the Mustika Surabaya Foundation. Method: This research method is qualitative with a case study approach. This research was conducted between October and December 2022 with 10 therapies. The data was collected through interviews and direct measurements of the respondents. Result and Discussion: The results of the study showed that there was a change in respondent’s statements that they became more comfortable and reduced pain after carrying out acupuncture therapy. Conclusion: Treatment using the acupuncture method can effectively treat gastric pain

Abstract

Introduction: Insomnia is a disorder that causes sufferers to have trouble sleeping or not be able to sleep properly. Insomnia can affect physical and mental health, resulting in suboptimal quality of life and daily routines. Insomnia is usually followed by daytime sleepiness, accompanied by fatigue, speechlessness, irritability, sweating alone, and a depressed mood. Herbal medicine therapy is an alternative that can be used to treat insomnia. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Pao Fuzi, Renshen, Baizhu, Ganjiang, and Zhigancao for medication therapy in insomnia sufferers with the syndrome. Method: This research uses the case study research method. The research subject is Mr. Y, who has insomnia with spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome. Result and Discussion: The results of research using the combination herbs for insomnia sufferers have proven effective. The Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) score before therapy was 28 and after therapy was 3. Complaints of insomnia decreased gradually, and the quality of life became better. Conclusion: Besides that, sufferers had no difficulty starting to sleep again, and when he woke up, he felt more refreshed
