Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is motivated by the paradox between the normative commitment of Islamic student organizations to gender equality and organizational social practices that still demonstrate gender bias tendencies. The study aims to analyze the dialectic between Islamic educational values and modernity in shaping gender construction within the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) at UIN Mataram. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies involving PMII administrators and members. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana through data condensation, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification. The findings reveal that PMII serves as a dialectical space that integrates Islamic educational values and modernity within its cadre system, organizational culture, and leadership practices. Aswaja values such as tawazun, tasamuh, ta’adul, and i’tidal form the basis for developing a contextual and moderate understanding of gender. Modernity is reflected through critical culture, gender education, meritocracy, and the strengthening of women’s intellectual capacities. However, patriarchal culture still influences organizational social practices, particularly in stereotypes toward women’s leadership, gender-biased division of labor, and the low participation of women in strategic organizational spaces. The study concludes that gender construction in PMII is formed through a dynamic negotiation process between Islamic educational values and modernity, resulting in a dialogical, moderate, and evolving understanding of gender. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya paradoks antara komitmen normatif organisasi mahasiswa Islam terhadap kesetaraan gender dengan praktik sosial organisasi yang masih menunjukkan kecenderungan bias gender. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dialektika nilai pendidikan Islam dan modernitas dalam membentuk konstruksi gender pada Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia (PMII) di UIN Mataram. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap pengurus serta kader PMII. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana melalui tahapan kondensasi data, penyajian data, penarikan simpulan, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PMII menjadi ruang dialektik yang mempertemukan nilai pendidikan Islam dan modernitas dalam sistem kaderisasi, budaya organisasi, dan praktik kepemimpinan kader. Nilai-nilai Aswaja seperti tawazun, tasamuh, ta’adul, dan i’tidal menjadi landasan dalam membangun pemahaman gender yang moderat dan kontekstual. Modernitas tercermin melalui budaya kritis, pendidikan gender, meritokrasi, dan penguatan kapasitas intelektual perempuan. Namun, budaya patriarki masih memengaruhi praktik sosial organisasi, terutama dalam stereotip kepemimpinan perempuan, pembagian kerja berbasis gender, dan rendahnya partisipasi perempuan dalam ruang strategis organisasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konstruksi gender di PMII terbentuk melalui proses negosiasi dinamis antara nilai pendidikan Islam dan modernitas sehingga menghasilkan pemahaman gender yang dialogis, moderat, dan terus berkembang.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the importance of developing students’ ethics through the internalization of akhlakul karimah values in the school environment. The study aimed to analyze the process of internalizing akhlakul karimah values in shaping students’ ethics at SMPN 4 Janapria. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of Islamic Education teachers, students, and school authorities selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using interactive analysis techniques involving data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the internalization of akhlakul karimah values was carried out through three stages, namely value transformation, value transaction, and transinternalization. The process was implemented through Islamic Religious Education learning, teacher role modeling, habituation, school culture, and religious activities such as congregational prayers, short religious lectures (kultum), Qur’an recitation, and the 5S program (smile, greeting, salutation, politeness, and courtesy). In addition, the concepts of sam’ and fu’ad from the perspective of Islamic psychology indicate that value internalization not only affects cognitive aspects but also students’ spiritual and psychological dimensions. Therefore, the internalization of akhlakul karimah values plays an important role in shaping students’ ethics through the integration of learning, school culture, and continuous religious habituation. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pembentukan etika siswa melalui internalisasi nilai akhlakul karimah di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses internalisasi nilai akhlakul karimah dalam membentuk etika siswa di SMPN 4 Janapria. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, siswa, dan pihak sekolah yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai akhlakul karimah dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu transformasi nilai, transaksi nilai, dan transinternalisasi. Proses tersebut dilaksanakan melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, keteladanan guru, pembiasaan, budaya sekolah, serta kegiatan keagamaan seperti shalat berjamaah, kultum, membaca Al-Qur’an, dan program 5S (senyum, salam, sapa, sopan, santun). Selain itu, konsep sam’ dan fu’ad dalam perspektif psikologi Islam menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi nilai tidak hanya menyentuh aspek kognitif, tetapi juga aspek spiritual dan psikologis peserta didik. Dengan demikian, internalisasi nilai akhlakul karimah berperan penting dalam membentuk etika siswa melalui integrasi pembelajaran, budaya sekolah, dan pembiasaan religius secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

  ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the importance of parental role modeling in shaping children’s tolerant behavior within a pluralistic society. The study aimed to analyze parents’ exemplary attitudes in interfaith interactions and their implications for children’s behavior from the perspective of Islamic education. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a field research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving Muslim families living alongside non-Muslim communities. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that parents’ exemplary behavior in building harmonious relationships with non-Muslims had a positive influence on children’s behavioral development. Children tended to demonstrate tolerant attitudes, politeness, respect for differences, and the ability to establish positive social relationships within their environment. In the perspective of Islamic education, these behaviors are aligned with the values of tasamuh, ukhuwah insaniyah, and hablum minannas, which emphasize the importance of noble character in social life. In addition, the study found that children who were consistently exposed to positive interfaith interactions within the family environment developed stronger social adaptability and greater openness toward diversity. The findings also indicate that family-based character education through parental role modeling can serve as an effective strategy for fostering social harmony and strengthening inclusive attitudes among children in multicultural communities. This study confirms that parental role modeling serves as an effective medium of social education in shaping children’s tolerant behavior in a pluralistic society. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya keteladanan orang tua dalam membentuk perilaku toleran anak di tengah masyarakat plural. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis keteladanan orang tua dalam interaksi lintas agama serta implikasinya terhadap tingkah laku anak dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap keluarga Muslim yang hidup berdampingan dengan masyarakat non-Muslim. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keteladanan orang tua dalam membangun hubungan harmonis dengan non-Muslim memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap pembentukan perilaku anak. Anak cenderung menunjukkan sikap toleran, santun, menghargai perbedaan, serta mampu menjalin hubungan sosial yang baik dengan lingkungan sekitar. Dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam, perilaku tersebut sejalan dengan nilai tasamuh, ukhuwah insaniyah, dan hablum minannas yang menekankan pentingnya akhlakul karimah dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Selain itu, pembiasaan interaksi sosial yang harmonis dalam keluarga turut memperkuat kemampuan anak dalam beradaptasi dengan keberagaman sosial di lingkungannya. Proses keteladanan yang dilakukan secara konsisten juga membentuk kesadaran anak untuk menjunjung sikap saling menghormati dan hidup damai di tengah perbedaan keyakinan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keteladanan orang tua menjadi media pendidikan sosial yang efektif dalam membentuk perilaku toleran anak di masyarakat plural.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Society 5.0 era demands the integration of digital technology with humanitarian values in various sectors, including Islamic education. This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and its impact on strengthening students’ religious character. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature study method through the collection, analysis, and interpretation of relevant scientific sources. The findings indicate that the integration of digital platforms, interactive media, and internet-based learning resources in PAI learning enhances student engagement, strengthens religious understanding, and supports the internalization of spiritual values through structured digital habituation. In addition to improving learning effectiveness, the use of digital technology also contributes to balancing students’ ritual piety and social piety. However, its implementation still faces challenges such as low digital literacy, limited supervision of digital media use, and the potential for moral degradation in cyberspace. Therefore, strengthening the role of teachers, continuous supervision, and wise use of technology are necessary to ensure that digital-based PAI learning can effectively shape students’ religious character in the Society 5.0 era. ABSTRAK Era Society 5.0 menuntut integrasi teknologi digital dengan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berbasis digital serta dampaknya terhadap penguatan karakter religius siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi pustaka melalui pengumpulan, analisis, dan interpretasi berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi platform digital, media interaktif, dan sumber belajar berbasis internet dalam pembelajaran PAI mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, memperkuat pemahaman keagamaan, serta mendukung internalisasi nilai-nilai spiritual melalui pembiasaan digital yang terarah. Selain meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, penggunaan teknologi digital juga berperan dalam membentuk keseimbangan antara kesalehan ritual dan kesalehan sosial siswa. Namun, implementasinya masih menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya literasi digital, keterbatasan pengawasan penggunaan media digital, dan potensi dekadensi moral di ruang siber. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penguatan peran guru, pengawasan yang berkelanjutan, dan pemanfaatan teknologi secara bijak agar pembelajaran PAI berbasis digital dapat berjalan efektif dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa di era Society 5.0.
