Abstract

Knowledge of the cleanliness of reproductive organs during menstruation is very important knowledge because good knowledge can impose on the health of a person. Behavior is an individual response to a stimulus or action that can be observed and has a specific frequency, duration, and purpose, whether consciously or unconsciously. The research method used is a descriptive research design. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 84 respondents. The results of this study indicate the knowledge of female students in maintaining the cleanliness of their reproductive organs during menstruation. Research conducted by researchers at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan, obtained from 84 respondents, that 83 respondents (98.8%) had good knowledge and results behavior in maintaining the cleanliness of their reproductive organs during menstruation were obtained that 65 respondents (77.4%) behavior good. The conclusion is that the knowledge and behavior of female students in maintaining the cleanliness of the reproductive organs during menstruation is glare It is hoped that students at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan, can maintain a clean and healthy life.

Abstract

Diet is one of the basic needs for humans, during the pandemic, there are changes in eating patterns such as conditions and time, causing a high body image. One of the causes of a high eating pattern is because the quarantine period makes students unable to manage eating schedules and sports activities are rarely done.Method :This study used a correlation research research design with a cross sectional design. Technique sampling techniquePurposive sampling of 108 Level 4 students at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan.Results :The results showed thatbody imagelow (54.6%), and high diet (52.8%). Based on the results of the chi-square statistical test, a p-value of 0.001 (p<0.05) was obtained., so that Ha is accepted, it means that there is a relationship between Body Image and Diet for Level 4 Students During the Covid-19 Pandemic Period at STIKes Santa Elisabeth MedanConclusion :Studythis is expected toThe next researcher is to be able to increase knowledge and insight about Body Image with eating patternsso that students are aware of and regulate irregular eating patterns better and consume healthy foods in order to produce a better body image. Abstract

Background: Anxiety is an emotional condition with a feeling of discomfort in a person, and is a vague experience accompanied by feelings of helplessness and uncertainty caused by something that is not yet clear. The results showed that the level of anxiety was categorized as mild as many as 36 respondents (42.9%), in the moderate category as many as 47 respondents (56%), in the severe category as many as 1 respondent (1.2%) Methods: The research design was a descriptive design with the Cross design method. sectional. Sampling technique with total sampling technique with a total sample of 84 people Results: The results showed that the level of anxiety was categorized as mild as many as 36 respondents (42.9%), in the moderate category as many as 47 respondents (56%), in the severe category as many as 1 respondent (1 ,2%). Discussion.

Abstract

Stunting is defined as the condition of the nutritional status of toddlers who have a length or height that is classified as less when compared to age. One of the factors that most influence the incidence of stunting in toddlers is mother's knowledge. Mother’s knowledge is very important in preventing stunting in order to create actions or behaviors to avoid stunting in toddler. This study aims to describe the knowledge of mothers about stunting prevention on toddlers the Kasih Bunda Clinic Sunggal, Deli Serdang Regency 2022. This research uses a descriptive method. The sample in this study are mothers who had toddlers aged less than 2 years who make repeated visits to the posyandu at Kasih Bunda Clinic using accidental sampling technique. The location of this research is at Kasih Bunda Clinic on May 2022. With 30 respondents The measuring instrument used is the questionnaire. The results of the study are as follows: the majority of mothers' knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding aged 0-6 months had good knowledge as many as 13 people (43.33%), mother's knowledge about complementary foods according to the recommendation was sufficient knowledge 15 people (50%), mother's knowledge about Nutrition Intervention 7-23 months had good knowledge only 12 people (40%), Mother's knowledge about Growth and Development Monitoring has good knowledge of 13 people (43.33%), mother's knowledge of Environmental Hygiene has sufficient knowledge of 19 people (63.33%). The conclusion of the study is that some respondents have good knowledge about preventing stunting in toddlers at the Kasih Bunda Sunggal Clinic, Deli Serdang Regency. The research site is expected to provide counseling to mothers who have toddlers aged less than 2 years about stunting prevention. Respondents are expected to be able to apply the knowledge they already have in preventing stunting

Abstract

Toddler period is the most important period in the life cycle, because at the age of 0 to 5 years, toddlers experience physical, mental and behavioral development. Stunting is a condition in which children experience growth disorders, so that the child's height does not match his age, as a result of chronic nutritional problems, namely lack of nutritional intake for a long time. Based on a preliminary study in May at the Talia Pratama Clinic, it was found that most mothers did not know for sure about stunting in toddlers. Research Objectives: To find out the description of maternal knowledge about stunting in toddlers aged 25-59 months at the Talia Pancur Batu Pratama Clinic, Deli Serdang Regency in 2022. Research Methods: This type of research is descriptive. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The location of this research was at the Talia Pratama Clinic in May 2022. With 30 respondents the measuring instrument used was a questionnaire. Research Results: The results showed that of the 30 respondents at the Talia Pratama Clinic, there were 2 respondents in the category who had good knowledge (6.67%), the category with sufficient knowledge is 10 respondents (33.33%), and the category with less knowledge is 18 respondents (60%). Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it shows that most of the respondents have less knowledge (60%). Health workers are expected to increase counseling in polyclinics so that mothers' knowledge about stunting in toddlers increases and invites mothers to seek information from health workers.

Abstract

Corona virus is a disease that spreads quickly caused by the Corona virus that attacks the human respiratory system with symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, fatigue and lethargy. Therefore, efforts to break the chain of transmission are carried out by implementing health protocols including 3M knowledge (washing hands, wearing masks and maintaining distance). The purpose of this study is to determine the description of 3M knowledge in the community in Durin Simbelang Pancur Batu village in 2022. This study uses a descriptive method. Sampling technique using purposive sampling with a sample of 50 respondents. The measuring instrument uses is a questionnaire. The results of this study show that the knowledge of respondents washing hands of the majority was very good 47 people (94%) and minorities were enough 1 person (2%), the knowledge of wearing masks was the majority was very good 45 people (90%) and minorities were good 5 people (10%), and the knowledge of maintaining distance of the majority was very good 34 people (68%) and minorities less 1 person (2%), and the knowledge of 3M the majority was very good 46 people (92%) and the minority was good 4 people (8%). It is expected that the people of Durin Simbelang Pancur Batu can do 3M well in their daily lives.

Abstract

Background: Online learning motivation is a supporting factor that makes a person willing and happy to mobilize all abilities, expertise and skills possessed to carry out activities that are their obligations to achieve the desired goals. The importance of learning motivation for elementary school children is so that students remain motivated to continue their education. Students' learning motivation will increase if they have motivation that comes from within themselves and there is support from the surrounding environment. Methods: The research design used is descriptive research. The sampling technique in this study used total sampling with a total sample of 92 respondents. The instrument used is a questionnaire sheet on online learning motivation variables. Results: The results showed that the online learning motivation of grade III-VI students during the covid-19 pandemic at SD Dolok Huluan, Simalungn Regency in 2021 was mostly in the high category, namely 52.2%. Discussion: Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that students' learning motivation remains high even though the covid-19 pandemic is endemic. It is hoped that this research can be an input for all students and education staff to keep paying attention to students' learning motivation during online learning.

Abstract

Background :Science and technology today is growing rapidly, one of which is in the form of online games, the more often a person plays it can become addicted and in early adulthood emotional responses often avoid problems by playing online games.Method: The research method used isdescriptive.Results: research results obtainedshows that the respondents are in the category of severe addiction as many as 63 respondents (73.3 %), moderate addiction 17 respondents (19.8%), and mild addiction 5 respondents (5.9%). If addiction is not handled properly, it can lead to self-control because it is not able to reduce play time so that social relationships and tasks become hampered.Discussion: Respondents feel that playing online games is only to fill spare time, relieve stress, begin to be able to determine activities that must be prioritized and be able to control themselves.

Abstract

Background : Masturbation is very common among teenagers. Masturbation is influenced by growth development factors of reproductive organs that occur in adolescents. In addition, it is also heavily influenced by external factors such as magazines, films, and others that smell pornographic. Masturbation can be done quickly, anywhere as long as there is privacy, and whenever teenagers want it. The narcissistic level will affect the process of thinking and behaving. The emergence of self-esteem makes teenagers not easily careless to take actions that can lower their self-confidence and can control their sexual behavior. Methods: This study used a correlation research research design with a cross sectional design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling technique as many as 92 3rd grade students at SMP Negeri 5 Sibolga. Results: The results showed that the tendency of male adolescent narcissistic personality was high (80.4%), masturbation in male adolescents was high (93.5%). Based on the results of the fisher exact alternative statistical test, p-value = 0.001 where (p<0.05), so Ha is accepted, it means that there is a relationship between narcissistic personality tendencies and masturbation in adolescent boys at SMP Negeri 5 Sibolga in 2021 Conclusion: This study It is hoped that the next researcher will be able to increase knowledge and insight about narcissistic personality with masturbation because the results of narcissism with high masturbation are then carried out interventions to reduce the masturbation behavior masturbation in adolescent boys is high (93.5%).
