Abstract

Gout arthritis is a metabolic disease caused by excess levels of uric acid compounds in the body, either due to excess production, insufficient elimination, or increased purine intake. Method: This type of research is descriptive with a total sampling technique of sampling, the number of samples is 40 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire which was distributed to respondents who suffered from Gout Arthritis. Results: The results showed that there were more patients with Gout Arthritis in the 56-65 years age group (35.0%). The majority of Gout Arthritis sufferers are female (70.0 %). Most patients with Gout Arthritis have a junior high school education/equivalent (32.5%). Patients with Gout Arthritis who have a history of family/genetic disease (65.0%).

Abstract

Background: Anxiety is a feeling of fear that is not clear and is supported by a situation so that individuals will feel anxious as in the current COVID-19 pandemic situation. To overcome this, good coping is needed, one of which is problem focused coping which is an action directed at solving problems.Method: This study uses a cross sectional approach to 70 respondents and uses a quota sampling method. Collecting data using a questionnaire sheet given to each respondentResult: The problem focused coping of the employees of Grand Mutiara Hotel Berastagi is high as many as 51 people (72.9%) and low as much as . Anxiety when facing the COVID-19 pandemic among employees of Grand Mutiara Hotel Berastagi was 37 people (52.9%).Discussion: The results of the study obtained 72.9% high problem focused coping and 52.9% low anxiety. Based on the chi-square data analysis, the p-value = 0.001 (p<0.05) which means that there is a statistically significant relationship between problem focused coping and anxiety when dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic on employees of Grand Mutiara Hotel Berastagi in 2021

Abstract

Self-disclosure is a person's ability to express problems and personal experiences to get a positive response so that a person is able to reduce stress levels. The results of the initial survey showed that 48.9% of students experienced severe stress and 51.1% experienced mild stress. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-disclosure and stress levels in final year students in doing thesis at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan in 2021. This study uses correlation research with a cross sectional design. The research population is 169 people with a total sample of 61, where the sample is taken by proportional sampling technique. Collecting respondent data was taken through a questionnaire using the google form application. Based on the results of the frequency distribution of stress levels in final year students, 15 people (24.6%) were obtained in the high category and 46 people in the low category (75.4%). In self-disclosure, there were 44 people (72.1%) in the high category and 17 people (27.9%) in the low category. The results of the chi square statistical test obtained p-value = 0.001 (p <0.05), indicating that there is a relationship between self-disclosure and stress levels in final year students. It is expected that students can improve their knowledge and good communication skills with self-disclosure to reduce stress levels. Abstract

Posyandu is a form of community-based health effort that is managed and organized from, by, for and with the community in the implementation of health development, in order to empower the community and provide convenience to the community in obtaining basic health services, especially to accelerate the reduction of maternal and infant mortality. . This research is a type of qualitative research, using descriptive method. While the notion of qualitative research can be understood as a research procedure that utilizes data and has the aim of describing and analyzing events, social dynamics, phenomena and attitudes of individual and group perceptions of something, the results of this study explain that community independence in health services is needed to improve visits to posyandu, but in general posyandu visits will decrease if posyandu is not managed properly, the management of posyandu is very dependent on the activity of health cadres and agencies that foster it, because posyandu is a form of Community Based Health Efforts (UKBM) which is managed from, by , for, and with the community, in order to empower the community and provide convenience to the community in obtaining basic health services. On the other hand, the presence of posyandu cadres acts as a health motivator, health educator and health service provider through the posyandu program. Because community empowerment is created from motivational factors to improve family and community health, the ability to identify health service needs and barriers, and understand available resources.

Abstract

Background: Parenting is a process that is given to improve and support the physical, emotional, social, financial, and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood. Parents are the first picture for children to learn many things, both academically and in life in general. The purpose of this study was to identify parenting patterns in Sarimarrihit Village, Sianjur at first.Methods: The research method used is descriptive. Results: The research shows that all parents respondents in Sarimarrihit Village, Sianjur initially chose democratic parenting with demographic data aged 31-40 years as many as 8 respondents (40%) preferred democratic parenting. The majority of education levels are SMA and D3 as many as 6 respondents, the majority of parents work as farmers as many as 12 respondents. It is hoped that parents will maintain good parenting patterns in raising children and modify parenting patterns.Discussion: It is expected that parents will continue to maintain good parenting patterns in raising children and modify parenting patterns. Conclusion The parenting pattern of pre-school children in Sarimarrihit Village, Sianjur initially used more democratic parenting as many as 20 respondents.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder that occurs due to hyperglycemia that occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin work, or excess. Diabetes mellitus is a collection of symptoms that arise in a person caused by an increase in blood glucose levels. This research aims to see an overview of the level of Diabetes Mellitus patients in controlling blood sugar levels in Dahana village, Bawlato sub-district in 2021. Abstract

Introduction: The aging process experienced by the elderly will cause a decrease in normal psychological, biological, spiritual, social and economic functions.The most common psychological problem in the elderly is the feeling of loneliness. Loneliness is a person's psychological state of the situation being faced, where a person always feels unnotified by the people around him and tends to be alone and never satisfied with what has been given by his surroundings. One way to overcome feelings of loneliness in the elderly is to provide socialization group activity therapy (TAKS). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of socialization group activity therapy (TAKS) on reducing loneliness in the elderly at UPT social services for the elderlysocial services Binjai, North Sumatra Province in 2021.Methods : This type of research is pre-experimental with a one-group pre-post test design. The number of samples is 20 people with purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire and data analysis using the paired t-test.Results: The results of the study showed that 85% and severe feelings of loneliness in the elderly were 85% before receiving socialization group activity therapy (TAKS) and 10% mild loneliness in the elderly after receiving socialization group activity therapy (TAKS). The paired t-test result was 0.001 (p-value <0.05)Conclution : indicating that there was an effect of socialization group activity therapy on reducing loneliness in the elderly at the UPT for elderly social services, Binjai social service, North Sumatra province.

Abstract

Blood pressure is described as the ratio of systolic pressure to diastolic pressure, with its normal values ranging from 100/60 to 140/90. For the risk of blood pressure, both men and women have the possibility of developing hypertension. The habits of people who consume coffee will impact increasing blood pressure. The frequency of drinking coffee over 3 cups per day can affect blood pressure, although fact, only because of this habit that a person has an increase in blood pressure. This study aims to determine the relationship between coffee drinking habits and increased blood pressure in the community. This type of research uses an analytical description research method with a cross-sectional design of e population of the community around Pontianak city the habit of drinking coffee. The samples in this study were 50 people with a sampling technique using Probability sampling, namely with the Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data collection for coffee drinking habits using questionnaire sheets and observation sheets using a sphygmomanometer. Data analysis used Person Chi-Square and obtained p-value = 0.312 (p>0.05%). These results showed that there was between coffee drinking habits and an increase in blood pressure. Researchers advise health workers to provide health promotion about coffee drinking rules and coffee drinking doses that are good for health.

Abstract

Patients have a significant role to play in improving patient safety on their own. The active involvement of patients in planning, providing health services, and evaluating care can improve health services. This study aims to develop a model of the role of patients in improving patient safety in hospital inpatient rooms. This research is qualitative research with acan on research design. Participants in this study were 22 implementing nurses from 5 inpatient rooms. Using questionnaires, the data were collected using an online focus group discussion (FGD), observation sheets, field notes, and quantitative assessments. The data was analyzed using simple analytical and statistical content. This study resulted in 4 patient role models that can be used in the inpatient room and increased nurses' Knowledge about the role of patients in improving patient safety. The conclusions of this study show that the patient role model can be used as a reference in increasing the role of patients and reducing the occurrence of adverse events when patients are hospitalized so that patient safety can be achieved.
