Abstract

This study explains the implementation of sensitive intervention policies in handling stunting in Sigaol Simbolon Village referring to Samosir Regent Regulation No. 67 of 2022 concerning the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction in Samosir Regency. The research was conducted in Sigaol Simbolon village. This study aims: To determine the implementation of sensitive interventions in efforts to prevent stunting in toddlers in Sigaol Simbolon Village, Palipi District, Samosir Regency in 2023. This research uses descriptive methods and qualitative approaches. Informants in this study were used with purposive techniques, consisting of: Village Head, Village Officials, Chairman of TP-PKK, Village Midwives, and Masyarat Data obtained from research results through literature studies and field studies, namely, documentation and interviews conducted with informants. The results of this study The implementation of interventions in households that use access to clean water is quite good, the implementation of interventions in households that use access to sanitation has not been optimal, The implementation of interventions for assisting families at risk of stunting has run optimally, The implementation of interventions for poor and vulnerable families who receive conditional cash transfers has not been optimal, The implementation of interventions in Contribution Assistance Recipients (PBI) of National Health Insurance has been Optimal. Conclusions and Suggestions: it is necessary to increase the activities of sensitive intervention services in all services by communicating effectively both to the stunting acceleration team, as well as to the community so as to achieve a reduction in stunting prevalence in Sigaol Simbolon village.

Abstract

Early marriage or marriages that occur among underage children became one of the phenomenon in community environment. Its is because this is something that has been happening for a long time and it is nothing new anymore. According to BPS in Sei Rampah Sub-Distric,t the percentage of early marriages in 2021 up to 2022 among women aged 10-16 years was 5.93%, indicating that the rate of early marriages is still high in Sei Rampah Sub-District. This research aim to determine the influence of Booklets Media and TikTok Videos Counseling on The Students’ Knowledge and attitude concerning Early Marriage at SMAN 1 Sei Rampah. This research uses an experimental method with a pre-experimental design using two sample groups as the comparison. The number of population was 161 people. The number of samples was 120 people. Data were collected by filling out the pretest questionnaire, namely before respondents received counseling treatment and posttest after respondents received counseling treatment to determine the students’ knowledge and attitudes. The sampling technique uses probability sampling technique with simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. the results of this research test show that the level of knowledge before and after being given counseling using booklet media has the difference in mean value of 0.400 and a significance of 0.00, p-value <0.05 so there is a significance difference. In the attitudes before and after being given counseling using booklet media there was a difference in mean value of 0.333 and a significance of 0.157, p-value <0.05, so there was no significant difference. At the level of knowledge before and after being given counseling using TikTok video media, there is a mean difference of 0.400 and a significance of 0.00, p-value <0.05, so there is a significant difference. In the attitudes before and after being given counseling using TikTok video media, there was a mean difference of 0.133 and a significance of 0.01, p-value <0,05, so there was a significant difference. Thus, it is recommended for schools authorities to provide the facilities and infrastructures such as provided the learning media booklets and Tiktok videos, and also can collaborate with various agencies such as the Health Service, BKKBN to jointly prevent early marriage among teenagers.

Abstract

Medicines as a hospital's current assets are very important for patient survival because 90% of health service interventions in hospitals prioritize medicines. There is a shortage of medicines, running out of medicine stocks or medicines piling up, which has medical and economic impacts. Things like this require efficient and effective drug management efforts. At RSU Haji, the supply of medicines in the Pharmacy Installation is a variable that has a number of dissatisfaction in management and the medicines provided are still not effective enough, there are problems with input components such as human resources, procurement, supervision and output (stock out, expired medicines, stock taking) which is not yet effective. The purpose of this study is the Analysis of Management of Pharmaceutical Logistics Control in a Qualitative Study at the Pharmacy Installation of the Medan Haji General Hospital in 2021. The type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological study design. Respondent are a Head of Pharmacy Installation, Coordinator of Pharmacy Services, Pharmacy Installation Pharmacist Assistant, Inpatient Pharmacist Assistant, Outpatient Pharmacist Assistant, Pharmacy Warehouse Coordinator for Pharmacy Warehouse Staff, Financial Management of Hajj Hospital in Medan City. The data used includes primary data and secondary data. Data collection by interviews, data management and data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that in the pharmaceutical logistics of the Hajj Hospital there are still obstacles, namely the lack of human resources in the pharmacy technician section so that the work is carried out by double staff and the need to improve the budget and review of infrastructure facilities in the pharmaceutical logistics management aspect of the Hajj Hospital Medan. It is hoped that the RSU Hajj will add human resources to improve the quality of drug logistics management so that management will be even better.

Abstract

For farmers, good quality and clean rice is their selling point. Automatic rice threshing machines are a new breakthrough that can be offered to them. This machine has adopted energy-saving technology and is very practical in operation. One of the technologies is a filterization system, this system is a separator between clean rice and rice grain, so that the quality of the clean rice produced will increase. By controlling the motor speed in this system, less power is used so it will be more energy efficient. This system is supported by other devices in the form of a Proximity Sensor, ATmega 2560 Microcontroller and Dimmer. So this system runs automatically based on the falling rice debit.

Abstract

Communication is the process of delivering messages from one person to another, which is done verbally or verbally and can be understood by each other. However, some people experience communication difficulties, one of which is deaf people. Deaf people are people with special needs who experience hearing and communication difficulties. This research aims to develop sign language learning resources using BISINDO and SIBI that can be helpful and interesting in learning activities. This research also aims to overcome these obstacles by designing and implementing an augmented reality application that aims to facilitate language learning interactively and educationally. In this research, augmented reality is used to visualize sign language codes through videos projected on a smartphone. This application consists of 3 menus, namely SIBI, BISINDO, and markers. The test results using Blackbox show successful results, meaning the application is as expected. The use of augmented reality in sign language learning for the deaf can increase knowledge about sign language learning.

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program is a policy launched by the Minister of Education in 2019, aimed at giving students more control over their educational journey. Subang University, especially the Information Systems study program, has participated in this MBKM Program, has played an important role in implementing the vision of this initiative. In the midst of technological developments, innovative approaches and the use of technology are essential in achieving the goals of this program. In its implementation, there are various responses from students or lecturers, and become material for evaluation. This research aims to bring up technological innovations that can be applied to increase the level of effectiveness and efficiency of the educational process, the research method used is descriptive qualitative, the data collection stage is based on data on students who take the MBKM program, the distribution of accompanying lecturers, activities that have been running, and raises several obstacles in the implementation process, then from the results of these findings the authors enter into data groups based on the MBKM program, then describe the proposed technology, information system integration, then compare with the previous system which includes time, cost, human resources involved and implementation procedures.

Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the performance and efficiency of two widely used compression software, WINRAR and 7-Zip, across various data types. The study focuses on evaluating their effectiveness on different operating systems, specifically Windows 11 and Ubuntu 23.10. The analysis encompasses considerations such as compression ratios, resource utilization, and processing times. WINRAR and 7-Zip are examined in diverse scenarios, including the compression of text files (.txt), image files (.png), audio files (.flac), and video files (.mp4). The study reveals notable variations in compression outcomes influenced by intrinsic complexities of each file format. Moreover, the investigation extends beyond the initially studied operating systems, suggesting potential applications on other platforms like Kali Linux. The findings contribute insights into the nuanced performance of compression software across varied data types and operating environments, facilitating informed decision-making for users seeking optimal compression solutions.

Abstract

Recapitulation of damage to goods at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Buru still uses a manual method by utilizing Microsoft Excel as a tool. This process takes a long time and often occurs inaccurate recapitulation and loss of data. The information system for recapitulating damage to web-based goods can carry out the process of recapitulating damage to assets at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Buru in an organized manner. The purpose of building this system is to speed up the admin work process in recapitulating damage to goods and minimizing the occurrence of unwanted things such as loss of data, repeated data (double), and data manipulation by irresponsible parties. The development model used uses a waterfall model. The method used in this research uses the prototyping method. The prototyping method contains a system design that is built using Data Flow Diagrams and Entity Relationship Diagrams. The data collection stages in this study used a process of interviews, observations, and document studies. The data used includes tables, chairs, cabinets, and whiteboards. The results of the research are in the form of an item damage recapitulation system based on determining qualifications that can be used efficiently. This system can only be accessed by the admin online. Data reports on the recapitulation of damage to goods can be downloaded with the .pdf extension.

Abstract

The website-based guestbook application for Al Hidayah recitation is a system designed to memorization and simplify the process of managing visits of recitation participants. With this application, this process can be done online via the website. This guestbook application was developed using web technologies such as HTML, CSS and Java Script. Apart from that, using a database uses visit data storage efficiently and safely. With this application, it is hoped that study participants can easily access and register for visits practically and efficiently.

Abstract

The importance of environmental awareness in modern society demands education that focuses on a deep understanding of ecosystems and environmental responsibility. This research aims to explore the role of environmental education in biology learning as an effort to increase students' awareness of protecting the environment. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research results show that the integration of Environmental Education in biology learning is effective in increasing students' understanding of biological concepts while developing their awareness of environmental issues. Students not only gain theoretical knowledge, but also directly experience environmental aspects through practical experiences such as observations, experiments in the field, and related activities. This awareness then forms a responsible attitude towards the environment, encouraging students to take positive action in maintaining the sustainability of nature. The research results provide empirical support for the effectiveness of this approach in creating students who are not only scientifically educated, but also have relevant life skills and are ready to play a role in preserving the global environment.
