Abstract

This research discusses analyzing and developing a village office inventory system using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. Village inventory systems are considered an essential foundation in local resource management, facilitating the recording, maintenance, and management of inventory owned by a village. This research identified limitations in the manual approach, which is prone to recording errors and data loss. The proposed village inventory system is designed to solve these limitations by emphasizing timeliness and accuracy of information. The system is expected to assist the village in responding quickly to changing conditions and needs, ensuring that the information obtained is always relevant and accurate. The application development was conducted through a series of XP stages, from overall planning system and module design to testing and implementation in a production environment. This process creates adaptive, responsive, and quality software, overcoming the limitations of manual systems that may still be dominant in many villages. User acceptance analysis highlights the importance of understanding user needs and expectations. User needs studies, user personas, prototyping, and feedback collection form the basis of system design that focuses on meeting user expectations. The results of the user performance metrics analysis showed a positive 80% satisfaction rate with the prototype, indicating that the proposed solution met the expectations of most users.

Abstract

In the banking sector, loans have become a key component that steers the economy, encourages company expansion, and directly impacts the growth of a nation's economy. Banks must evaluate borrowers' ability to repay loans given the inherent risks involved in order to reduce the likelihood of default. In particular, machine learning (ML) has shown promise as a revolutionary tool for loan default prediction using advanced methodologies to examine historical data relating to customer behavior, this study investigates the application of machine learning (ML) in forecasting loan outcomes. The results show that XGBoost performs better than other machine learning algorithms, with an accuracy rate of 89%. Random forest and logistic regression come in second and third, respectively, with 88% accuracy. KNN and decision trees come next, both with somewhat lower accuracy rates (87%). By incorporating consumer behavior domain variables, this study fills in the gaps in the literature and offers a more thorough understanding of loan projections. In order to improve model performance and strengthen the predictive power of machine learning algorithms in loan scenarios, further research incorporating trials to optimize algorithm parameters is necessary as financial institutions continue to experience difficulties.

Abstract

The Medan City Sanitary and Parks Department has the responsibility of carrying out the waste transportation process from the source of waste to the location of the Sanitary Landfill. Every day, the waste transportation vehicle receives a Road Order Letter from the sub-agency located in the sub-district, which contains information on waste transportation information. After the transportation is complete, the letter is submitted to the landfill scale department for tonnage and origin data collection. However, at present, all waste transportation data collection activities are carried out manually, including the provision of assignment letters and data collection of waste tonnage and fleet routes at the landfill. This results in ineffectiveness in the data collection operations. This encourages researchers to design a monitoring and fleet assignment information system at the Medan City Sanitary and Parks Service. Data collection is done by observation and interviews. The system development model in this system uses SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Waterfall and uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a method of describing the flow of the system by applying the Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram and Sequence Diagram models. The system is designed to run on a website system and is built using the PHP programming language with MySQL as a database. With this system, it is hoped that it can help in facilitating fleet assignments and monitoring the amount of waste entering the Sanitary Landfill .

Abstract

Along with the development of smartphone technology, it has become an option for learning needs. With so many types of regional language learning, it is of interest to most people from outside the region. The regional languages of Java and Sunda are mostly in demand by people from outside the region. Based on the large amount of interest in learning regional languages, the Jasun Regional Language Learning Application is the choice of researchers. In this study, the SDLC method was used with a prototype model. By using the prototype model, the author as well as the developer can find out the specifications of the user's needs in more detail and the prototype model is suitable for making small applications. With the development of the Sundanese Javanese Regional Language learning application, it is hoped that it will make it easier for people who want to learn Javanese and Sundanese Regional Languages. That way learning Javanese and Sundanese Regional Languages does not need to come directly to the area. Simply by using a smartphone as a medium for learning Javanese and Sundanese languages, it can be done anywhere and anytime.
