Abstract

Achievement of student learning outcomes in learning Physics is still not as expected. The reason is there are several factors such as the lack of books as learning resources that support students' knowledge and insights beyond the knowledge taught in school. Like an enrichment book, which contains facts about learning so that it helps students better understand learning. In addition, there is no electrical book (E-Book) as the use of technology in science to support learning activities that have an impact on student learning outcomes. Therefore, speculation the solution to this problem is the giving of Motion Theme Physics Enrichment E-Books to students of SMAN 2 Padang. This study aims to determine the effect and relationship of E-Book Enrichment of Motion Theme Physics on Student Learning Outcomes Class X of SMAN 2 Padang. The type of research applied was quasi-experimental research with the research scheme Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this studys were all students of class X SMAN 2 Padang who were register in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. Sampling for research is done by combining purposive sampling and cluster random sampling techniques. The sample in this study were 72 students from class X MIPA 2 as an experimental class and class X MIPA 3 as a control class. The research instrument consisted of a demonstration assessment sheet of critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive analysis and two average similarity tests. The results showed that there was an influence on student learning outcomes which was significant from the giving of the Motion Theme Physics Enrichment E-Book and there was a significant correlation of the giving of the Motion Theme Physics Enrichment E-Book to student learning outcomes for knowledge and skill competencies at the 0.05 level. It can be seen in the analysis of the data, that for knowledge competencies and skills the value of th is in the rejection area of Ho which means that student learning outcomes experience significant differences for the two competencies.

Abstract

This research intends to produce a worksheet containing scientific literacy on static fluid and dynamic fluid that has been valid tested. The use of worksheets can support the physics learning process. One solution is a worksheet with scientific literacy with static fluid and dynamic fluid. The worksheets presented in this worksheet already use scientific literacy steps. There are three scientific literacy steps, namely the scientific context, the scientific process and the scientific concept. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) that uses Sugiyono's development model. Sugiyono's development model has ten phases. This research uses only five phases, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and the design revision phase. To test the validity, this study used a questionnaire instrument. Valid questionnaire instruments were filled by three lecturers of Physics majors from FMIPA UNP as validators. Final data from the questionnaire instrument were analyzed using descriptive statistics. From the validity test, the worksheets developed were considered to be very valid with an average percentage score of 85.95%. thus, the Physics student worksheets with scientific literacy are in a very good category so that is suitable for use in the physics learning process.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum requires teachers to encourage students to think at a higher level and possess higher-order thinking skills known as Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). To achieve this the teacher must consciously and continuously practice using learning strategies with an orientation to training students to think at a higher level. This relates to the learning components that must be prepared by the teacher such as learning models, learning media, and teaching materials. One of the aids for students is teaching materials in the form of worksheets. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Abstract

In the 21st century it is expected to form comparative, innovative, creative, competitive and collaborative people. In the 2013 curriculum which was revised in 2017 contained important points, including the following: 1) strengthening of character education or what we often refer to as PPK. 2) attachment 4C consisting of the ability of creativity (creativity), critical thinking (critical thinking), collaboration (collaboration), and communicating (communication). 3) Literacy. 4) Higher Level Thinking Skills (HOTS). Where I focus more on 4C skills. Reality on the ground does not match the expected conditions. This is obtained from the results of preliminary studies that have been carried out in three high schools in Padang, it appears that in the physics learning process the school has implemented the 2013 curriculum, but according to some teachers the learning process is more comfortable using the friction instruction method. During the learning process the school has used LKS. Use of worksheets will be done if only practicing, while the question is still using worksheets sold by publishers. In the 21st century skills in the application learning process are not maximized nor are worksheets used. Only 21st century skills have been applied to learning, namely collaboration and communication skills. Though critical thinking skills and creativity are quite difficult to apply. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model. The data source in this study was obtained from the results of validation by 3 validators by giving questionnaire instrumentation which contained six assessment components, namely the feasibility of supporting material content, problem solving models, 4C skills, language feasibility, feasibility of presentation, feasibility of presentation, feasibility of presentation, Graphic LKS. Based on the results of the study, the results of the validation of problem solving-based worksheets in improving 4C skills on thermodynamics and mechanical waves were 83.27%.

Abstract

21st century skills are needed that emphasize the ability of everyone to be able to think critically in connecting science with the real world, mastering information technology, being able to work together and communicate. So that everyone should have the ability to use media and information technology to be able to answer the demands of the 21st century. In responding to the demands of the 21st century, the government has designed efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia by developing the 2013 revised 2017 curriculum. The development of the 2017 revised 2017 curriculum contains important points, including: 1) the strengthening of character education. 2) 4C skills consisting of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. 3) Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). 4) Literacy. But I focus more on 4C skills. In the reality found in the field is that the teacher has not applied the problem solving learning model in classroom learning activities, the learning activities are still dominated by the lecture method. According to the teacher, many students still depend on the teacher. This can be seen in solving problems in the form of questions in the book. Not only that, the reality on the ground shows that teachers never make non-experiment worksheets. The purpose of this study is to determine the validity of problem solving based LKS based on 4C skills in particle dynamics material and Newton's law of gravity class X SMA / MA. The type of research used is development research using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The validation assessment was carried out by 3 physicists by giving a questionnaire instrumentation containing six assessment components, namely the appropriateness of the contents of supporting material, problem solving models, 4C skills, linguistic feasibility, appropriateness of presentation, and the appropriateness of students' worksheets. As for data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques namely the validity test analysis. Based on the results of this study, the validation of student worksheets based on problem solving with 4C skills in particle dynamics material and Newton's law of gravity are 83.6% with a very valid category.
