Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of implementation of integrated learning material character values in CORE Cooperative learning Model in business Matter Energy and Simple Harmonic Vibrations Competence against student class XI SMAN 1 Tarusan. The research is a Quasi Experiment with Randomized Control Research Group Only Design with a population of this research is a class XI student of SMAN 1 Tarusan listed in the Academic Year 2016/2017. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. Data collection tool of research in the form of a written test for competency knowledge and competency observation sheet for the scoring rubric for the attitude and competence skills. Mechanical analysis of research data using the t test at real level of 0.05 for the third competency. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average value for the experimental class and control class that is in the competence of knowledge (80.97) and (72.26), the competence of the attitude that (86.11) and (81.39), and competence skills that (85.3) and (83.59). Data knowledge of both classes of normally distributed samples and having variances were homogeneous, so do test the equality of two average. Competence knowledge tcount (3,537), competence, attitudes tcount (7.25), and competence skills tcount (1.025) with table = 2.00. Thus the working hypothesis that reads Effect of Application of Instructional Materials Integrated Values Characters in Cooperative Learning Model Core At Creative Enterprises Energy and Vibration Harmonic Simple Against Student Competency Class XI SMAN 1 Tarusan accepted for aspects of competence knowledge and attitudes but not for competency skills

Abstract

Development the holistic comptences of learners is important in 2013 curriculum for all subjects. In another side development of holistic comptence of learners aren’t implemented in physics learning in high school yet. As solution of this problem is to implement learning textbook by integrating comprehensive intelligence in problem based learning model. The objective of this research is to investigate the difference competence of learner and to investigate the effect of learning textbook by integrating comprehensive intelligence. The type of this research is quasy experiment with randomized control group only design. As population of this research is all learners grade X MIA in SMAN 9 Padang that leasted in 2016/2017 years. Sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. There are three instruments in this research, those are test sheet, observation sheet, and performance sheet. Data are analysis by descriptive statistic compare mean test, linear regresion, and corelation analysis. There are two of  research results. First result is the implementation of learning textbook by integrating comprehensive intelligence in problem based learning model has given significant difference competence of learners including knowledge, spiritual, social and emotional, and skills competence. Second resul is the implementation of learning textbook by integrating comprehensive intelligence in problem based learning model has given significant effect to improve knowledge, spiritual, emotional and social, and skills competences of learner respectly 27,04%, 33,67%, 31,47%, and 17,64 %

Abstract

This study is based on the background that in physics learning teaching materials in the form of Student’s Worksheet (LKPD) is necessary, so that learning is not inclined to the teacher-centered. In addition, the students’ competence is still low in terms of levels of cognitive processes can be improved through the use of LKPD. This study aims to produce the products such as oriented LKPD complexity of content and cognitive processes in the material vectors, also to know the quality of LKPD terms of validity and practicality. This study is the research and development using the 4D model. This model consists of 4 stages, such as define stage, design stage, develop stage, and disseminate stage. However, in this study the 4D model reduced to 3D, so the study was only done to develop stage. The subjects of the study consist of three lecturers from the Physics Department, FMIPA UNP as a validators and 2 Physics teachers SMAN 10 Padang as validators and practitioners. Data were analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the research that has been conducted, it was resulted the LKPD oriented complexity of content and cognitive processes. Product research is categorized as very valid aspects LKPD requirements, aspects of the complexity of the content in LKPD, aspects of the complexity level of cognitive processes in LKPD, and aspects of learning model components the guided inquiry in LKPD with an average values of 81.8. Product research is also categorized as very practical by teachers with average values of 84.6 from the aspect of completeness, scope, presentation, benefits, and opportunities implementation of LKPD

Abstract

This research was motivated by the demands of 2013’s curriculum toward the dimensions of knowledge which taught in physics learning and and the levels of cognitive processing which should be trained in learning. Instructional materials and student worksheet (LKPD) used generally do not contain the four dimensions of knowledge and have not been trained the six levels cognitive processes according to Bloom's revision taxonomy. Based on the preliminary study result was known that the competence level of knowledge’s students in cognitive processes C4, C5, and C6 were still very low. One of the solutions is to use LKPD oriented to content complexity and cognitive processes. The purpose of this study was to produce a LKPD content complexity and cognitive processes which are valid, practical, and effective for physics learning in SMA/MA. Research conducted included the type of Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D models development which was reduced into 3D, so this study consist of three stages, which are define, design, and develop. LKPD trials conducted with one group pretest-posttest design. Subjects of research consist of 5 validators (three lecturers of Physics, and 2 Physics teachers SMAN 4 Padang), 3 Physics teachers tested the practicality of LKPD, and eleventh grade students of MIPA1 SMAN 4 Padang. The results of the research showed the LKPD is very valid and very practical, the validity of rate is 3.77 (expressed in percent 94.5%) then the practicality rate based on teachers’ opinion is 3.81 (expressed in percent 95%), and practicality rate based on students’ opinion is 3.57 (expressed in percent 89.25%). The LKPD on learning material of Light and Optical Instrument showed increased understanding with n-gain of 0.53 on medium category. LKPD can enhance high order thinking capabilities of students in Light and Optical instrument materials

Abstract

This research was motivated by the poor quality of the competence of  physics students in high school caused by various factors, including the existence of teaching materials are applied educators. Students worksheet (LKPD) is one form of teaching materials. The purpose of this study was to find the effect of application LKPD based on dimension of knowledge and cognitive processes in Problem Based Learning (PBL) toward the competence of physics students at grade X SMAN 7 Padang. The type of research was a quasi experiment research with randomized control group only design. The population was all students at grade X MIA SMAN 7 Padang who were registered in the 2016/2017. The technique sampling was purposive sampling. The data of research are aspects of attitude acquired through observation sheets, aspects of the knowledge acquired through achievement test, and aspects of the skills acquired through the sheet performance. Materials physics involved in this study about the uniform circular motion and dynamic of objects motion. To find the effect of application LKPD done by statistical t-test, followed by a simple linear regression analysis and test product moment correlation to the variables of the study. Based on data analysis competence of physics students in aspects of attitudes, knowledge, and skills of the experimental class respectively 81.79, 83.3, and 81.74 is higher than the control class is 78.85, 78.62, and 78.30. T test results that there is a significant difference between the competence of physics students learners using LKPD based on dimension of knowledge and cognitive processes compared to those without. From the results of data analysis with a significance level of 0.05 was obtained effect of application LKPD based on dimension of knowledge and cognitive processes in the aspect of attitudes, knowledge, and skills, respectively for 13.88%, 33.27% and 14.49%.

Abstract

The physic competence achievement of SMA Negeri 7 Padang students still does not meet the expectation. The use of LKPD oriented on Bloom’s taxonomy revision with the implementation of scientific approach is believed to be effective to reach the expected physic competence of the students. This research is aimed to analyze the effect of using LKPD oriented on Bloom’s taxonomy revision with the implementation of scientific approach setting toward physic competence achievement of grade X students of SMA Negeri 7 Padang.Type of research is quasi experiment with Posttest Only Control Group Design. The study population was all students of class X MIA at SMAN 7 Padang enrolled in the Academic Year 2016/2017. Sampling was done by cluster sampling technique. Samples were class X MIA 1 as the control class and class X MIA 4 as an experimental class with a number of sample members of each class is 31 people. This research data includes data competence of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. Data were analyzed using the equality test two averages (t test), simple linear regression and correlation tests on the real level of 0.05 to the competence of knowledge, using the equality test two averages (t test) for competency skills, attitude and competencies using trend graphs change in attitude.The results of data analysis the average attainment of experimental class attitude at 79.15 is higher than the average grade of control that is equal to 77.2. On average the attainment of knowledge of the experimental class of 79 is higher than the average grade control is 75. The average achievement experimental class skill competencies of 83.3 is higher than the average grade of control that is 77.5. The test results of data analysis concluded that the LKPD oriented on Bloom’s taxonomy revision  in setting the scientific approach can improve the competence of Physics students of class X SMAN 7 Padang. Great influence exerted LKPD oriented on Bloom’s taxonomy revision to the attainment of knowledge of students by 72.25%.

Abstract

One of the factors that lead to the lowness of lerners competence is less interesting learning process. The use of rare learning media worksheets make learners become less active in learning procces. This study purpose to determine the effect of worksheets based scientific approach in inquiry learning model toward learners competence of class X SMA Negeri 13 Padang. Type of this research is a quasi-experimental design with randomized control group only design. The population was all learners of class X SMA Negeri 13 Padang, academic year 2016/2017. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The reseaarch instruments used in this study are competent sheet (to examine attitude competence), result of final test (to measure knowledge competence), and perfomance assesment sheet (to measure skill competence). Data analyzed by testing the equality of two average. The equality of two average test is only to calculate competence value of knowledge dan skill, while attitude competence value is determine using result data description from each meeting. The result showed the average value of learner at two classes are 83.33 and 80.00 for knowledge competence, 85.90 and 81.16 foe skill competence. t testing obtained alternative hypothesis is accept for knowledge competence. t’ testing obtained   alternative hypothesis is accept for skill competence. the conclusion is hypothesis stated that there is a significant effect in application-based worksheets learners the scientific approach in inquiry learning model toward physics competence of learners class X SMA Negeri 13 Padang

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are still not optimal shows learners is still difficult to understand the concepts and principles of physics. One possible cause is the use of media that do not support learners to develop critical thinking skills. Interactive multimedia CD in problem based learning models aided LKPD is expected to be effective ways to improve the critical thinking skills of learners. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of interactive multimedia CD in problem based learning models aided LKPD the critical thinking skills of students grade X SMAN 1 Padang. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a randomized control group design ppretest- posttest design. The population in this study were all grade X SMAN 1 Padang MIA Academic Year 2016/2017. Sampling was done in two stages, using purposive sampling to determine the grade educators to be used and cluster random sampling to determine the appropriate sample class. The instrument used in this study is in the form of a written test about the description. Data obtained from the critical thinking skills score is performed on the answers of students who identifies indicators of critical thinking skills. Data were analyzed with the equality test two averages using statistical t test and regression and correlation to determine the relationship between independent variables and variable control. The test results showed thitungtcount of 2.57 is outside the reception area of Ho. This shows the significant difference from the average value of critical thinking skills between the two classes of samples. Product Moment Correlation analysis showed 31.40% critical thinking skills are affected by the implementation of interactive multimedia CD in problem based learning models aided LKPD and the remaining 68.6% is influenced by other factors. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant impact on the use of interactive multimedia CD in problem based learning models aided LKPD against citical thinking skills of students in the 5% significance level

Abstract

Instructional media used by educators in the learning process of physics have not been optimal in motivating students to be active and independent in learning. In addition, there are many schools that do not have teaching materials in accordance with the demands of the curriculum in 2013 that emphasizes the scientific approach, teaching materials in schools is still limited to print teaching materials and interactive yet. The solution of this problem through interactive multimedia handout that has been designed. This study aims to produce interactive multimedia handout by using application-based lab course scientific approach to learning physics class X SMA valid and practical. This research is the development (research and development) using a model of R & D Sugiyono. This model consists of 10 stages, but this study only to the seventh stage, include: to recognize the potential and problems, gather information, product design, validate designs, revised the design, test new products, and revise product. Subjects were 3 people validator, 2 educators, and students in one class X SMA 15 Padang to practicalities. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques. Based on research that has been done, the resulting product in the form of interactive multimedia handout. Product research is at a very valid criteria for the validation of aspects of content, presentation, kegrafikan, and language with an average value of 90.93%. Product research is at a very practical criterion by educators from the aspects of ease of use, efficiency of learning time, and benefit with an average value of 94.5%. Product research is also on a very practical criterion by learners with an average value of 83.2% from the aspects of ease of use of navigation, ease of use guidelines, the use of multimedia, and the motivation of learners

Abstract

Physics learning is aimed to develop the competence of students that includes aspects of the attitude, knowledge, and skill. The learning objectives are grouped by six levels of cognitive processes that are tailored to the revision of Bloom's taxonomy. The sixth level are combined with the four dimensions of knowledge contained in the physics lesson content. In fact, the attainment of students is not as expected. One of the  solution offered is the use of quality teaching materials, for example worksheet. In general, the school has not been found worksheet which includes four dimensions of knowledge, and six levels of cognitive processes. In this study developed worksheet oriented complexity of content and cognitive processes in a static fluid material. Worksheet design in terms of validity, the practicality and effectiveness. The method used is a research and development (R & D). The model of this research is 4D reduced to 3D comprising the step of define, design, and development. This research subjectis 30 students of class XI SMAN 10 Padang. The object of this research is the design of LKPD oriented complexity of contents and cognitive processes in the static fluid material for learning physics class XI SMA/MA.Collecting data in this study using a validation sheet given to the validator. Data practicalities of using instruments distributed to the practicalities of Physics teachers and students in class XI MIA. Efficacy data derived from the value of N-gain. The research showed the validity of the validator is at 82.51 with very valid criteria. Practicalities of test results by the teacher obtained a value of 94.58 with a very practical criterion and by students at 90.61 with very practical criteria. The effectiveness of the test results obtained by the value of N-gain of 0.67 with the criteria of being. Thus this research has resulted LKPD complexity oriented content and cognitive processes are valid, practical, and effective.
