Abstract

LKSS developmental research physics gets problem solvings basis on brazes x semester II. at SMA aims to result LKS physics gets basis Problem Solving  one that valid, practical and effective for student to braze x semester II. at SMAN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban. This research included research development. This research comprise of three phases which is: define, design, and develop. Feasibility quiz is done on SMAN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban that involves 2 teachers, 3 lecturers and 35 students. In this research have resulted LKS physics gets basis problem solving one that valid, practical and effective. From analisis data can be concluded that (1) Result validate to LKS physics gets basis  problem solving one that is developed for class x semester II. is so valid. (2) test-driving Result those are done at class x 7 at SMAN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban Kab.50 kota point out that have accomplished praktikalitass criterion which is gets to be used and is performed deep learning process. (3) test-driving Result those are done at class x 7 at SMAN 1 Lareh Sago Halaban Kab. 50 kota out that have accomplished effectiveness criterion which is: (a ) Activity studies student increase use LKSs afters physics gets basis problem solving . (b ) Motivation study student increase use LKSs afterses physics gets basis problem solving.  (c ) student Response to learnings with use LKS physics gets basis problem solving really practical. Abstract

Abstrak IPA, adalah ilmu yang lahir dan berkembang yang bermula dari per- masalahan yang dihadapi manusia dalam berinteraksi dengan benda-benda dan fenomena di alam, diselidiki melalui kegiatan observasi dan eksperimen, sehingga melahirkan konsep-konsep yang akan memperkaya khasanah IPA secara terus menerus. Implikasinya pembelajaran IPA yang dilaksanakan di sekolah haruslah berbasis pengamatan, baik secara langsung ataupun tidak langsung, dan pendekatan pembelajaran utama adalah pendekatan ilmiah (scientific approach). Telah dilakukan beberapa penelitian yaitu menerapkan pembelajaran IPA ber- basis pengamatan gejala melalui pemanfaatan alat dan bahan sederhana sehari- hari, dikembangkan dan diuji cobakan bahan ajar berbasis kegiatan laboratorium (demontrasi dan eksperimen) serta bahan ajar terintegrasi virtual laboratory dalam pembelajaran Fisika pada SMA Negeri di kota Padang. Melalui penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan bahan ajar yang telah memenuhi validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitasnya, diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa pem- belajaran IPA berbasis kegiatan laboratorium dengan menerapkan pendekatan ilmiah dalam bentuk strategi inkuiri terbimbing dapat: a) meningkatkan kemauan siswa untuk bertanya dan menanggapi pertanyaan guru dalam pembelajaran di kelas; b) meningkatkan kompetensi ilmiah siswa yang mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran IPA, observasi, kegiatan laboratorium, pendekatan ilmiah, kompetensi ilmiah Abstract Natural science was born and develop based on the problems that faced by human beings in interacting with things and natural phenomena, it was explored through observations and experiments which later created the concepts that will enrich natural science’s treasury continuously. The implication is that the natural science that is implemented in schools should be observation based, whether it is direct or indirect, and the main approach is scientific approach. There were some researchers conducted, which are implementing natural science based on the observation of the symptoms through the utilization of daily tools and materials, developed and tested teaching materials based on laboratory activities (demonstrations and experiments) and integrated virtual laboratory teaching materials in learning physics in senior high schools in Padang. Through quasi experiment research by using teaching materials that has met the validity, practicality, and its effectiveness, it is concluded that laboratory based natural science learning by implementing scientific approach in the form of guided inquiry strategy can: a) increasing students’ willingness to ask and respond teacher’s questions in class learning; b) increasing students’ scientific competences including the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. Abstract

Abstrak Seiring dengan digulirkan pemerintah kurikulum 2013 sejak pertengahan tahun 2013, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemdikbud) juga mela- kukan melakukan program pengadaan buku, pelatihan kurikulum, pendampingan, dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 di seluruh Indonesia, termasuk di provinsi Sumatera Barat. Telah dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi (monev) oleh tim monev dari Universitas Negeri Padang yang berjumlah 5 orang, yang dibantu oleh sebanyak 48 orang surveyor sebagai tim pengambil data di lapangan terhadap 3108 responden yang terdiri dari guru, siswa, kepala sekolah dan pengawas untuk satuan pendidikan SD, MP, SMA dan SMK. Monev dilakukan dari bulan Agustus – November 2014) pada 6 kabupaten/kota di provinsi sumatera Barat yang dipilih secara acak. Metode monev yang diterapkan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner dan di triangulasi dengan teknik observasi dan indepth interview. Monev bertujuan agar teridentifikasinya proses, kendala dan hasil yang diperoleh dari implemen- tasi kurikulum 2013 tersebut, meliputi empat komponen utama yaitu pengadaan buku guru dan buku siswa, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan pembelajaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dari monev menyimpulkan bahwa: a) Kualitas buku menurut persepsi responden pada umumnya berada pada kategori bagus (65 %); b) Proses pelatihan berada pada kategori baik (56,2 %), kejelasan materi yang disajikan berada pada kategori jelas (53,8 %) dan sangat jelas (19,1 %). Tingkat pe- mahaman materi pada kategori paham 68,8 % dan sangat paham 5 %. Sedangkan keyakinan terhadap mengimplementasikan kurikulum berada pada kategori yakin 58,7 % dan sangat yakin 3,70 %; c) Tingkat keefektifan pendampingan pada umumnya yang berada pada kategori cukup efektif dan sangat efektif; d) mengenai kegiatan pembelajaran langkah-langkah pendekatan saintifik telah mulai dilak- sanakan, cuma masih ditemukan kendala pada evaluasi proses, kegiatan menanya, dan konfirmasi materi pelajaran belum berjalan dengan baik dan tuntas. Kata kunci: implementasi, kurikulum 2013, pengadaan buku, pelatihan, pendam- pingan, pembelajaran Abstract Along with the implementation of Curriculum 2013 by government since the middle of the same year, The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) also conducted the program of books provisioning, curriculum training, mentoring, and the implementation of curriculum 2013 throughout Indonesia including West Sumatera. The monitoring and evaluation (monev) have been done by a team of five people from State University of Padang that was also assisted by 48 surveyors as a team of data collection toward 3108 respondents that consist of teachers, students, headmasters, and supervisors for educational units of primary, secondary, high and vocational schools. Monev was done from August to November 2014 in regency/city in West Sumatera that was selected randomly. The monev method is quantitative descriptive and qualitative by using questionnaire and triangulation with observation and indepth interview. The purpose of monev is to identify processes, constraints, and the results of the implementation of curriculum 2013 including four main components which are the provision of teachers and students books, training, mentoring and learning. The results of monev are: a) The books’ quality according to respondents’ perception in general is in good category (65%); b) Training processes is in good category (56,2%), the distinctness of materials that was presented is in distinct category (53,8%) and very distinct (19,1%). The level of understanding of the material are understand 68,8% and very understand 5%. Meanwhile, the belief in the implementation of curriculum category of believe is 58,7% and very believe is 3,70%; c) The level of the effectiveness of mentoring in general are in the category of effective and very effective; d) Learning activity of the steps of scientific approach has been implemented, but there were some constraints in the process of evaluation, asking activity, and the confirmation of learning materials which were not going well and thoroughly. Abstract

The background of this research is a learning process that not optimize yet learners to form his own knowledge and this is because the learning process is still centered on the teacher, the limited teaching materials in e-modules form use of ICT as a medium of teaching or learning resources are not maximal. An alternative solution of this problem is the e-modules teaching materials in the form of structured inquiry-based modules. This study aims to produce teaching materials in the form of e-module structured inquiry based on the motion and force that proper use is used for learning science. This study is a Research and Development (R & D) that uses three stages of 4-D models, define, design, and develop, whereas disseminate is not done. Data collection instruments that is used in this study was a questionnaire validation and practicalities.In developmen t stage was validated by the 6 validators, and the practicalities stage was done by two teachers and 32 students of class VIII SMPN 11 Padang. The data of the research is primary data that consists of validity data and practicalities. The datas were analyzed with the descriptive analysis in the form of a percentage. The results showed that, the feasibility of e-module structured inquiry based on motion and force for science learning in class VIII of SMP / MTs can be seen from the results of the validation test that is average value 86.4072% with very valid and the result of practicalities of teachers with the average value of 81.6667% with practical criteria, while the results of the practicalities of learners average value 84.974% with practical criteria. It can be concluded that the e-module structured inquiry based on motion and force matter for science learning in class VIII SMP / MTs are made which have very valid and practical criteria

Abstract

        Low competence of Physics one of which is caused by the lack of observation of physical phenomena through laboratory activities. This study aims to determine the effect Observation student worksheet Against Assisted Physical Symptoms Student Competence Achievement in Physics Lesson in Class X SMAN 3 Padang. Type of research is a quasi experimental design. The population was all students of class X SMAN 3 Padang enrolled in the Academic Year 2015/2016. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. Samples were class X MIA 5 as an experimental class and class X MIA 6 as the control class. The research data covers the competence of three aspects is attitude, knowledge, and skills. The research instrument is observation sheet for the aspect of attitude, achievement test on knowledge and performance assessment form for the skill aspect. Data were analyzed using two similarity test average on the real level of 0,05. Based on data analysis competence Physics students on aspects of attitudes, knowledge and skills of the experimental class respectively 85,86; 71,28; and 88,69 is higher than the control class that is 82,12; 61,37; and 85,63. The result of the equality of two average by using the t test, obtained t count for each aspect of attitude, knowledge and skills that is 2,43; 4,33; and 6,94. Abstract

Students competence in physics lesson are not good reachable. One of the factor cause not reaching the students competency is using learning materials that have not been functioning as supporting appropriate learning activities for students both on the aspect of spiritual attitudes, social attitudes, knowledge, and skills. The purpose of research are to determine the effect of comprehensive intelligence aspects in learning materials to the achievement of the student competency in physics lessons at grade X SMAN 3 Padang. Type of research is Quasi Experiment with Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population of this research were the students grade X MIA SMAN 3 Padang who were registered in the 2015/2016. Sampling technique was Purposive Sampling. The data were analyzed using Chi Square test at significance level 0,05 and  degrees of freedom dk 1. Results of research show that using comperehsive intelligence aspect in learning materials has given significant effect  toward achievement of competency students knowledge in physics lessons in grade X SMAN 3 Padang, and there is no significant effect of comprehensive intelligence aspect in learning materials toward student competency in physics lessons at grade X SMAN 3 Padang to the student of spiritual attitudes, social attitudes, and skills

Abstract

The purpose of learning Physics is to develop knowledge and train students’thinking ability. It can occur when teachers actively engage the students in the learning process (student center). Therefore, teaching  materials that can improve students’ competence is needed, such as worksheet.This research was aimed to produce a content complexity and cognitive process oriented worksheet, which is valid, practical, and effective to be used in teaching and learning Physics at SMA/MA. The type of the research was research and development with 4D development model (define, design, development and desseminate), which is reduced to be 3D. Desseminate phase was not implemented due to time and budget limitation. The research subject was a class of students. Moreover, the research procedure included front-end analysis, students’ need analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, learning objectives analysis, test preparation, media selection, format selection, making draft, expert validation, product revision, and limited testing. Further, instrument used for data collection was a validation sheet, sheet practicalities, students’ responses questionnaire also pretest and posttest. The result of  this research, which is about content complexity and cognitive process oriented worksheet in material about forces on the elastic material, can be presented in two studies. First, worksheet is developed using the 4D model with the findings’ guided model syntax containing scientific approach. Second, the worksheet produced is located in the criteria of very valid and very practical to be used in teaching Physics with the respective  values3.43 and 3.45 also effective to improve the knowledge of students.

Abstract

The background of this research is not to optimize the learning process of learners to construct or establish his own knowledge, this is due to the limited learning device that can help students learn optimally. This study aims to produce a learning device oriented cognitive conflict strategy viable in terms of validity and practicalities.This type of research is the Research and Development (R & D) model of ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) which is reduced to develop. Validity and practicalities of involving the six teachers, two teachers, and the subject of limited testing against a group of learners in class X SMA Negeri 1 Airpura.Validity test results lesson plan with a value of 92.06% and worksheets learners with a value of 88.91%, both at very valid criteria. The average value of the practicalities of the teacher's lesson plans amounted to 92.81% and 91.89% for worksheets learners, both with very practical criteria. While the average value of the practicalities of the learners of 74.54% with a practical criterion. These results indicate that, the learning device produced in the category unfit for teaching high school physics in terms of validity and practicalities

Abstract

Material of education must be prepared by teacher to do activities of education that students as center of it. The porpuse of the resacrch is to know how influence material of education like work sheet that have oriented to do scientific approach on physics study to attainment student’s competences. This research was an experimental research randomized control group only design. The population of this research were all of the students of SMAN 15 Padang in the first semester of academic year 2014/2015. Research data include the attainment of students from three aspects : attitude, knowledge, and skill. Aspects of the assessment instrument in the form of sheet attitude observation, self assessment sheet, and peer assessment sheet. Assessment instrument aspects of knowledge in the form of multiple choice test and aspects of skills in the rubric scoring sheet. Based on research that has been done, the result of research thet the average value of aspects attitude in the experimental class was 90,02 higher than control class was  87,73. The average value of the aspects knowledge in the experimental class was 77,12 higher control class was  87,73. The Average value aspects of skill in the experimental class was 82,34 higher than control class was 76,7. The research results were analyzed using t test at the 0,05 significance level. The result of study showed that there are significance difference between the students attainment of experimental class with the control class. This difference is due to the influence of the use of student activity sheet oriented scientific approach
