Abstract

This research aims to develop TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) based learning media on ablution material with the aim of increasing students'understanding. TPACK uses an approach that integrates technology, pedagogy and content knowledge to create effective learning experiences. The research method used is development research with the ADDIE model. The subjects in this research were 20 people. Data collection techniques were obtained through validation tests, practicality tests and effectiveness tests by expert people. Data collection instruments using questionnaires and student responses. The results of the research show that the development of TPACK-based learning media on ablution material is effective in increasing students' understanding. Students show improvement in understanding the steps of ablution, the meaning of the associated symbols and the relevance of daily life practices. This research contributes to the development of a learning model that can be adopted in the context of religious education, especially regarding ablution material. This learning media helps students understand the procedures for ablution so that they gain a valid, practical and effective understanding.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the students’ ability in writing a greeting card at MTs Simpang Dolok Batubara.This observation was taken 6 days which started from Monday, 11th December 2023 to Saturday, the 16th of December 2023. The Qualitative Research Method was used in this research. The subjects of this research chosen randomly were 7 students as the representative of students in the eight grades of Junior High School Students of MTs Simpang Dolok Batubara, academic year 2023-2024. The populations from this research were the whole students of VIII grade of MTs Simpang Dolok Batubara. Technique of collecting data used was the observation in which the students were observed during the writing class by using observation sheet designed with theory of Brown in Moh. (2019 ) to know the ability that have been achieved by the students and all the data found from 7 subjects of research that have been analyzed by the researcher there were 4 indicators/elements, namely content, vocabulary, grammar and mechanics. After the research conducted, it was found that there were 3 students with the good level in writing skill, 3 students with the fair in writing skill, and only one students categories as the unsatisfied or poor in writi skill.. Shortly, this finding of the research was appropriate with the assumption in this research that is a greeting card is effective to increase the students’ effectivity and creativity in writing.

Abstract

This research discusses the Management of Educators and Education Personnel in the National Education System, the importance of managing education and education personnel because one of the dominant factors that influences the quality of Indonesian National Education is the Role and Quality of Educators and Education Personnel. Therefore, this research was designed to provide an overview of the processes carried out in managing teaching and education personnel in accordance with the National Education System. The research method used in this research is library research, namely a series of activities relating to library data collection methods to obtain information data by collecting information related to the meaning, scope and process of educational policy. The data sources in this research are primary data sources and secondary data sources such as books, articles, etc. The results of the research in this article state that the management of teaching and education staff aims to utilize teaching and education staff effectively and efficiently to achieve optimal results while remaining in pleasant conditions. The components of educators and management of educational personnel are: starting with (1) employee planning, (2) human resources, (3) employee training and development, (4) promotion and transfer, (5) employee dismissal, (6) compensation and ( 7) provide assessments to employees or teaching and educational staff.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the leadership style of the principal in MAS Al-Asy'ariyah Medan Krio. Ensuring the leadership style of the school principal is one of the mandatory duties of the school principal in enhancing the leadership style at MAS Al-Asy'ariyah Medan Krio. This study aims to examine the leadership of the school principal in the leadership style at MAS Al-Asy'ariyah Medan Krio. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research, where the researcher will describe the leadership style of the school principal at MAS Al-Asy'ariyah Medan Krio. There are three participants in this study, namely the school principal, teachers, and students at MAS Al-Asy'ariyah Medan Krio. The research findings indicate that: 1) The principal of MAS Al-Asy'ariyah Medan Krio implements effective leadership processes, including supervision, planning, and execution in the leadership style of the school principal. 2) The principal also frequently motivates teachers and students with the aim of encouraging them to adopt the leadership style of the school principal, thereby achieving the goals in the leadership style at MAS Al-Asy'ariyah Medan Krio. 3) The principal demonstrates good role modeling by involving the community in all school activities, aiming to receive input and active participation from the community in improving the leadership style at MAS Al-Asy'ariyah Medan Krio. In conclusion, the leadership of the school principal in enhancing the leadership style at MAS Al-Asy'ariyah Medan Krio has been effective without any obstacles, as the principal performs all tasks using a well-organized management system.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the fundamental aim of carrying out a careful analysis of the classification of children with autism in the elementary school environment. Using the case study method, the research approach includes consideration of various aspects, including cognitive characteristics, behavior and social interactions. Data was collected through observations, interviews with teachers, as well as examination of related documents, providing a strong basis for in-depth analysis. With a focus on a deeper understanding of the varied characteristics of children with autism at the elementary school level, the main aim of the research was to classify these children based on their cognitive abilities, behavior and level of social interaction. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as a basis for designing educational programs that are more appropriate to the individual needs of each autistic child. The benefits are not only limited to improving learning effectiveness, but also include supporting social integration in the elementary school environment. This research involved subjects of children who had autism and attended elementary school. Study participants included children with varying cognitive characteristics, behavior, and levels of social interaction. The results highlight significant variation in the characteristics of children with autism in elementary school, allowing classification based on their cognitive abilities, behavior and level of social interaction. Some children show a positive response to certain learning methods, while others require a more individualistic approach. It is hoped that the classification of research results will provide a solid basis for improving educational programs, increasing learning effectiveness, and supporting the social integration of children with autism in the elementary school environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of ability critical thinking and self-regulated learning with learning outcomes of Mathematic Student Class V State Elementary School City of Medan, the number of students as many as 153 students. The technique used to analyze the data is the statistical technique of regression and correlation.The research result showed that there was a positive correlation between (1) Critical thinking and Mathematics learning outcomes (2) Self-regulated learning Mathematics learning outcomes (3) Critical thinking, Self-regulated learning and Mathematics learning outcomes. It can be concluded there is relationship between critical thinking, self-regulated learning and Mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is aimed at describing the quality of the English tests and the index of difficulty. This research was conducted because of the researcher found several problems faced by eighth students grade of SMP Muhammadiyah Pasir Pengaraian when submitted the examination result. These problems were most of students had limited vocabularies so they could not answer the question of the test, they could not understand the question because it did not have clear. Based on the problems above this research is aimed at describe the quality of test that used in final examination. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The population of the research were all of the eighth grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah Pasir Pengaraian. They were 84 students as the sample of the research. The instrument of the research were documentation in the form of the sheet of the students’ test and it was analyzed by using Ms. Excel. Based on the result of the research, there were 30 questions answered by the students. According to the categories of the questions as follows; 34 students they were belong to easy test (40%), 25 students answered difficult test, they were belong to difficult test (30%) and 42 students answered moderate test. They were belong to moderate test(50%). The kinds of test were matching word, arranging the statement, essay and multiple choice items. English test were included in moderate tests. The tests were good but there were some unclear instructions so that most of students could not answer. It can be concluded that arrangement of the question were good, but the form of the questions have did not clear instructions, so most of the students did not understand the questions because of the meaning of the vocabulary most of them did not know. Therefore the teacher must have the knowledge to make good quality questions so that students can answer the questions.

Abstract

The education that is really needed at this time is education that can integrate character education with education that can optimize the development of all dimensions of children (cognitive, physical, social-emotional, creative and spiritual). Education with the development of Islamic education like this is oriented towards the formation of children as complete human beings. The quality of students becomes superior not only in the cognitive aspect, but also in their character. School becomes a forum for forming a person's thought patterns and behavior, which shape students' spiritual attitudes and social attitudes. In developing the religious education curriculum, character at the Muhammadiyah Integrated Elementary School strives to develop character formation programs supported by good communication between teachers and parents of students through class and school associations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect between teacher certification on teacher performance in elementary school. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 040446 Kabanjahe in 2023. This research is a type of quantitative research using comparative causal methods or expost facto research. The population in this research is all teachers in SD Negeri 040446 Kabanjahe who have been certified. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The subjects in this study were 5 teachers who had passed certification. The object of research is in the form of Teacher Certification and Teacher Performance at SD Negeri 040446 Kabanjahe. The study was conducted from October to November 2023. Data analysis techniques use simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on data analysis, r count 0.887 > r table 0.878, which means that there is a relationship between teacher certification on teacher performance and obtained t count value 2.065 > t table 1.672 and significance t count 0.043 < t table 0.05, which means that there is a significant effect of teacher certification on teacher performance in SD Negeri 040446 Kabanjahe. Based on the similarities in discussion, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between teacher certification on teacher performance at SD Negeri 040446 Kabanjahe.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on critical thinking skills. The development of LKPD was carried out using the 4D model, with a research design in the form of a one-group pre-test post-test design. The research activities were implemented in two replications during fiqh learning in grade XI IPS at MAN 1 Medan. The results of the study indicate that the LKPD meets the criteria for validity and effectiveness. The reliability and validity levels of LKPD each showed an average percentage of 86.35% and 92.64%. High n-gain values for critical thinking skills were demonstrated by the inference and strategy indicators. The legibility of LKPD was measured using a cloze procedure, which indicated a percentage of 95.38%. Student activities in this research were predominantly focused on completing LKPD. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the developed LKPD is suitable for improving critical thinking skills.
