Abstract

Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer worldwide and poses a significant public health challenge. Its visible nature often leads individuals to seek medical attention, highlighting the importance of early detection for better patient outcomes. In recent years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has shown promise in improving the detection and diagnosis of skin cancer, offering the potential to enhance clinical outcomes. A systematic review was conducted, involving a comprehensive literature search to identify studies focused on AI techniques in detecting, diagnosing, or treating skin cancer. Strict inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied to assess the eligibility of scientific articles, resulting in the selection of nine relevant studies. These studies were analyzed to address predefined research questions about the effectiveness of AI in diagnosing skin cancer. The review found that AI-assisted clinicians achieved higher sensitivity and specificity in diagnosing skin cancer than those without assistance. Various AI algorithms demonstrated high sensitivity in detecting skin cancers, highlighting their potential to support primary care clinicians in evaluating suspicious lesions. The analysis also highlighted the effectiveness of smartphone applications designed for skin cancer risk assessment, which could facilitate self-examinations and enhance early detection rates. Despite these promising findings, the field of AI in skin cancer diagnosis is still in its early stages. Challenges remain, including developing robust algorithms, addressing data quality issues, and improving the interpretability of AI-generated results. Collaboration between AI developers and healthcare professionals is crucial to ensure these tools' clinical effectiveness and safety. Abstract

The current Seafood by Aruna website functions solely as a landing page to promote products, with actual sales still conducted through a marketplace. This reliance on a marketplace limits the brand's control over personalization, customer value, shopping experience, and brand identity due to strict platform policies and standards. Additionally, shifts in consumer behavior in the digital era indicate a desire for a more personalized, sustainable shopping experience that meets specific needs, including accurate product information and quality assurance. To address these challenges, this research aims to design an online shopping feature for the Seafood by Aruna website using the Design Thinking method. This approach is applied to understand user needs and address various pain points faced by consumers when shopping for seafood online. The research found that users require accurate delivery, reliable product information, and assurances of product freshness. Testing of the designed features using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded an average score of 90.12, categorized as "Best Imaginable." This score reflects that the developed features meet user expectations, thanks to the effective application of the Design Thinking method. The implications of this research suggest that developing a dedicated e-commerce platform enables Aruna to better control all aspects of the shopping experience, enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, and strengthen its position in the e-commerce market. However, further development is needed to adapt the features to changing consumer behavior and market trends.

Abstract

One of artificial intelligence methods, which is artificial neural networks, have been widely used in data analysis to make predictions, forecasting, and data classification. The artificial neural network method has convergence or local minimum problems because it requires randomly generated weight values. There is a lot of research that discusses optimization techniques for initiating this initial weight to solve that problem. In this study, a meta-analysis was carried out regarding the implementation of genetic algorithms for optimization of artificial neural network methods. Based on 10 journals that has reviewed in this study, it was concluded that optimization of the genetic algorithm can increase the output value of the artificial neural network by 3.44%, but this genetic algorithm optimization have no significant effect based on the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.595 and t count value is 0.551 that have been obtained and tested using paired samples t-test method with help of SPSS software.

Abstract

In recent years, technology and science have developed quite drastically. With advances in technology and science, we can create a system to help solve a problem such as granting scholarships. The purpose of this research is to build a decision support system to help and make it easier to determine who is entitled to get a scholarship. The method we use here is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) which simplifies the process of awarding scholarships which is then carried out by a process of ranking and determining the weight values for each criterion attribute to get the best alternative and who is entitled to get the scholarship. The data used to determine scholarship recipients includes GPA data (Grade Point Average), parents income data, and parents dependents data. The results obtained in this study indicate that a decision support system can make it easier to determine who is entitled to get the scholarship without requiring more time than the manual method which will also make it easier for humans to make decisions.

Abstract

Scholarship is the provision of financial assistance to individuals, which aims to be used for the continuity of the education pursued. Per the scholarship provider's regulations, criteria are needed to determine who will be selected to receive the scholarship. Scholars are distributed by schools or other parties that organize scholarships to help someone who is underprivileged or who has achieved something during his studies. A decision support system is needed to help determine someone who deserves a scholarship. This system can analyze academic performance, financial needs, extracurricular activities, and personal statements to determine the most deserving candidates. By using a decision support system, scholarship providers can ensure that the scholarships are given to individuals who benefit the most from the financial assistance and are dedicated to their education. Ultimately, scholarships aim to help individuals overcome financial barriers and achieve their academic and career goals.

Abstract

In general, chicken farmers still use conventional systems to feed the chickens they raise. They use their hands to sprinkle feed on the feed poles and walk along the cage where the cages for the chickens they raise are very large. Such activities for chicken farmers will take up time and energy. Feeding chickens can be made easier by using mechanical devices controlled by electronic equipment. The aim of this research is to design and create an IoT-based automatic chicken feeding tool. In designing this tool, we started by designing an IoT-based automatic chicken feeding tool. Where the Servo is a feed pusher in the pipe to spill animal feed into the feeder. The results of this research show the performance of Servo which functions to provide automatic chicken feed. The results of IoT testing which functions as a timer for giving chicken feed to this tool are quite accurate. This is proven by the difference between the time on the tool and the time on the laptop of only 1 second. And temperature monitoring can be seen on the LCD, if the temperature is above 30 degrees, the fan or fun will turn on, and if it is below 30 degrees, the light will turn on automatically.
