E-CHIEF JOURNAL (Early Childhood and Family Parenting Journal) is a journal that was started publishing on May 2021 at the Early childhood Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Focus and Scope of journal is research study and analysis related to Early Childhood Education. The article will publish in English, every manuscript sent to the editorial office of the journal ought to follow the writing guidelines. If the manuscript does not meet with the author guidelines or any manuscript written in different format, the article will be rejected before further review. Only submitted manuscripts that meet the journals format will be processed further. E-CHIEF journal published twice a year, in May and November. Abstract

The purpose of the study is to describe teacher activities, children's skills, and children's developmental outcomes in imitating shapes. This research approach uses qualitative with the type of classroom action research, carried out in 4 meetings, the research setting is on the B1 group of children of Bakti 1 Islamic Kindergarten Banjarmasin which amounted to 14 children (9 boys and 5 girls). The data collection technique uses observation. The results of the study showed that (1) the teacher's activity at the 1st meeting received a score of 20 in the "Good" category and continued to increase until the 4th meeting received a score of 27 in the "Very Good" category. (2) Children's Skills in the 1st meeting got a percentage of 0% in the category "No Skilled Children" and continued to increase until the 4th meeting with a percentage of 100% in the category "All Active Children". (3) The results of the development of the ability to imitate shapes at the 1st meeting were 0% and continued to increase at the 4th meeting the score of 100% all children succeeded in developing in the category of "Developing as Expected (BSH), and Developing Very Well (BSB)". Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that  the Project Based Learning, Explicit Instruction and Media Flanel models can develop skills, and the results of the development of the ability to imitate children's shapes very well and all children are active

Abstract

The problem in this research is the results of the fine motor development of children in group A2. This research approach uses qualitative with the type of classroom action research, carried out in 4 meetings, research setting on 12 children in group A2. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative descriptive techniques which were explained using cross tabulations and graphs which were presented with established indicators of development success. This research aims to describe teacher activities, as well as analyze children's activity, independence and fine motoric aspects. The results of this research show that the teacher's activities reach the very good category, the children's activities reach the very active category, the children's independence reaches the very independent category, and the children's fine motoric aspects reach the very well developed category. It is recommended that school principals, teachers and researchers can then provide input for information to improve children's learning.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low level of children's activity and the underdeveloped cognitive development of children in group A. This research approach uses qualitative research with the type of classroom action research, carried out in 4 meetings, the research setting was with the A2 group of Insan Azkia Kindergarten Banjarmasin, totaling 12 children (8 boys and 4 girls). Data collection techniques use observation, documentation, and interviews as well as data analysis using cross tabulation. The aim of this research is to describe teacher activities and analyze children's activities as well as children's cognitive aspects of their abilities. The results of this research show that teacher activities reach the very good category, children's activities reach the very active category, and children's cognitive aspects reach the very well developed category. It is recommended for future researchers that it can be used as information material, as well as for school principals and teachers, it can be used as input to improve children's learning

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low ability of children to recognize cause and effect, this is due to learning activities using LKPD and the use of models and methods that are less varied and monotonous. This study aims to describe the activities carried out by teacher and analyze children's activities, analyze the results of the development of the ability to recognize cause and effect. The data collection are observation, interview and documentation. The subject used in the study was group B of Khadijah Plus Islamic Kindergarten Banjarmasin. This research was carried out in two cycles and each cycle consisted of three meetings. The results of the study show that using the project based learning model and science experiment methods can improve children's ability to recognize cause and effect, as evidenced by the teacher's activity in the first cycle obtained an average score of 72 with good criteria, children's activities obtained a percentage of 74% of the active criteria, then for the ability to recognize cause and effect obtained a percentage of 72% of the criteria developed as expected. Then in the second cycle, the teacher got an average score of 84 with very good criteria, children's activities obtained a percentage of 98% of the very active criteria, then for the ability to recognize cause and effect obtained a percentage of 100% of the very good development criteria (BSB).

Abstract

The dynamic era of globalization requires workers and companies to always develop new products and innovate according to society's needs and market demands. The field of higher education is no exception where lecturers are required to accept a workload that can often damage the quality of their work life. This research aims to determine the quality of work life of lecturers who teach at the Faculty of Medicine and work in the medical field. This research uses a quantitative approach and descriptive analysis to provide an overview of the level of quality of work life. The research results show that the quality of work life of the majority of lecturers who are research subjects is at a high level. This is influenced by the score obtained on the salary and status dimensions which are related to the salary and status obtained by the research subjects from they work and also from society regarding the work they have.

Abstract

The Problems is several children show the coordination delays through the lack of student ability in developing imagination by using paper folding, cutting, and sticking picture techniques in activities. The solution provided is to use task-based learning, demonstration methods and origami paper media. The purpose of this study was to describe teacher activities, children's activities, and the results of fine motor development through origami paper folding activities. The exploration approach uses subjective research methodology with the type of homeroom teacher activity research directed by 4 cycles, the research setting was carried out on class B children of Adhyaksa XIV Kindergarten Banjarmasin totaling 15 children consisting of 6 boys and 9 girls. The type of data uses qualitative data. Data analysis was carried out descriptively qualitatively with observation sheets and rubrics. The results of the examination showed that (1) the movement of instructors in groups 1 to 4 increased to a level of 100% of the "Very Good" criteria. (2) Children's activity at meetings 1 to 4 increased by 100% with the criteria of very active children. (3) Children's fine motor development results improved, and at the fourth visit, they met the BSB requirements 100% of the time.
