Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the influence of communication, work discipline, leadership style and work environment on employee performance. This is a case study at the Administrative Staff Office, Faculty of Law, Jenderal Sudirman University. The research uses primary data obtained by using questionnaires and direct interviews with research respondents. The population in this study amounted to 36 employees. The sampling technique used is disproportionate stratified random sampling and obtained as many as 33 employees as respondents. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the analysis results indicate that the communication variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance, this can be evidenced by the value of t count (4.578) > t table (2.048). Then the work discipline variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance, this can be proven by the value of t count (2.584) > t table (2.048). While the variable leadership style has a significant positive effect on employee performance, this can be proven by the value of t count (3.828) > t table (2.048). And the work environment variable has a significant positive effect on employee performance, this can be proven by the value of t count (3.407) > t table (2.048). The implication of this research is that communication between fellow employees must be clearer when providing explanations about the tasks to be carried out, there needs to be an increase in discipline, especially in accuracy in carrying out tasks so that tasks are not repaired much and can be completed on time, leaders must create patterns of relationships and communication. lighting in the room is sufficient, employees will feel comfortable and more focused in doing their work. The limitation of this research is data collection using questionnaires, sometimes the answers given are not in accordance with the actual situation. Suggestions for further researchers is to add variables to be studied such as work motivation, work commitment and so on.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants of promotions carried out at the Perum Perhutani Forest Stakeholder Unit (KPH) Pekalongan Barat. Factors studied include competence, seniority and loyalty. The sampling method used the Slovin formula with the number of respondents as many as 187 people. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 23. The results showed that competence had a positive and significant effect on it. seniority has a positive and significant effect rejected. loyalty has a positive and significant effect accepted. The implication of this research is that the leader of the West Pekalongan KPH should pay attention to competence and loyalty when doing promotions. The way to improve competence is to give employees the opportunity to take part in training that can improve work abilities so that employees can complete their duties properly. To increase loyalty, the leadership of KPH Pekalongan Barat must establish communication between employees so that they have good relations and conduct socialization of policies or regulations so that employees can obey them properly. Further researchers should use other variables other than seniority, because based on the results of the research, the seniority variable does not have a significant effect on promotion.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of interest rate variables, labor wages and exchange rates on foreign direct investment in Indonesia. The population is a sub-sector registered on the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling method and determined 20 subsectors. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the t-test of the interest rate variable showed significant negative, the labor wage variable had a significant positive effect and the exchange rate had a significant negative effect on foreign direct investment. The implication of this study is that the government needs to monitor and stabilize interest rates and exchange rates in order to optimize FDI in Indonesia. The government also needs to monitor wage fixing policies so as not to burden investors and increase FDI in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the physical work environment, leadership, work motivation, and compensation on the performance of employees of PT. Banyumas Family Venture Business Partner. The population is employees of the marketing department (Account Officer) with a sampling technique using random sampling. The feasibility test of the model was carried out through the F test and showed that the results of this research model were feasible. The test results show that the physical work environment, leadership, work motivation, compensation partially have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Thus, the first, second, third and fourth hypotheses are accepted. Suggestions in this study are: the importance of a work environment that is free from noise, the need for leaders to absorb ideas from subordinates, employees need to apply a voluntary attitude to their work, educational incentives need to be given to employees who want to continue their education

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity, leverage, operating capacity, and firm size on financial distress. The population in this study were 43 mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2019. By using purposive sampling, a sample of 12 companies was obtained with a research period of 4 years, resulting in 48 data. The data in this study are secondary data in the form of annual financial reports. The method of analysis in this study is panel data regression analysis using Eviews 9 software. The results of the partial significance test show that liquidity, leverage and firm size have a significant positive effect on financial distress, while the operating capacity variable has a significant negative effect on financial distress.

Abstract

The development of tourism in Kabupaten Brebes has obstacles and obstacles that must be faced, especially if it is not supported by the community around the tourist attractions. This study aims to determine the strategy of Kabupaten Brebes in promoting tourism. This research is a qualitative research that describes in depth the object of research through interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of this study indicate that the implementer of tourism development goals, the Tourism Information Center, and as a media liaison between the community and tourism managers. The results of this study are expected to be input for Kabupaten Brebes and other Regencies in developing tourism development strategies

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the image of a tourist destination, tourist experience and social media on the intention to return to the karapyak beach tourist attraction in Pangandaran Regency. The sampling technique used in this study was non-probability sampling using purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the image of a tourist destination and social media has a significant positive effect on the intention to return, while the tourist experience has no effect on the intention to return. The implications of this research are that the local government is expected to pay attention to the procurement of certain events to increase the interest in visiting tourists again, such as holding annual events such as New Year's Eve, sea alms, kite festivals and so on. In addition, it is necessary to carry out continuous evaluations or follow-ups every year, so that tourist objects remain known to the wider community and become the main alternative choice in traveling..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style on employee loyalty and employee performance. This research was conducted on employees of PT. Cogindo Daya Bersama at the Adipala Unit. The sampling technique in this study was proportional random sampling, and the method of analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and the Sobel test. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be interpreted that leadership style has a significant positive effect on employee loyalty, leadership style and employee loyalty have a significant positive effect on employee performance, and employee loyalty mediates the influence of leadership style on employee performance. The implication that can be made is that companies need to implement appropriate policies related to leadership style and loyalty to improve employee performance. These motivating ways can be done by focusing on efforts to continuously improve the ability of company managers to establish communication with various parties, improve the ability of managers in employees and continue to increase employee confidence so that the management of PT. Cogindo Daya Bersama at the Adipala Unit was able to live up to their expectations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of earnings per share, economic value added, market value added, return on equity, and debt to equity ratio on stock returns of companies that are members of the IDX 30 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that earnings per share and economic value added do not have a significant effect on stock returns, market value added and debt to equity ratio have a significant negative effect on stock returns, return on equity has a significant positive effect on stock returns. The implication in this study is that companies need to increase their net profit activities by streamlining costs or increasing their business activities and need to make effective management of existing capital by placing capital only for productive activities and reducing unnecessary costs. In addition, managers need to maximize the difference between the market value of the company's equity and invested equity capital by properly managing outstanding shares

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of KAP size, leverage, and audit tenure on the integrity of financial reports in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020. The sampling method uses a purposive sampling method which result 21 companies as samples. Panel regression data used for analysis of the research with the help of Eviews. The results showed that KAP size had a significant negative effect on the integrity of financial statements. Meanwhile, leverage and audit tenure have a significant positive effect on the integrity of financial statements
