Abstract

Economic activity according to Islamic view is an activity that is able to have a good impact on all people or society. It is hoped that with this economy, the prosperity and welfare of the community can be achieved and the benefits can be felt. The sharia economy upholds social values, where there is no difference in status, everyone has the right to get and feel prosperity and be free to be creative. Basically the principle of Islamic economics is concerned with the benefit of the people, not harm, so that the real goal for Islamic economics is to avoid chaos and riots. We know that almost all countries that have full power over the economy are the governments of these countries. Sharia property appears as the people's choice, especially for those who want to buy a house or just invest, making people, especially Muslims, feel much more comfortable because they can avoid usury, which is prohibited in Islam. Sharia property investment is property investment that is carried out on the basis of rules in accordance with religious rules, where everything you do must be in accordance including buying a house that will be used for investment. The purpose of this study is to find out how the application of the basic concepts of Islamic economics to the effectiveness of sharia property companies. This research is a study using a literature review. Literature review or literature research (literature review or literature research). The method of analysis in research with this literature review is descriptive analysis, namely the interpretation of ideas or information/data is carried out regularly and then given clear explanations so that they can be well understood.

Abstract

This research discusses women’s freedom from patriarchy in Abi Dare’s The Girl with the Louding Voice. The aim of this research is to analyze how women get their freedom from patriarchy by becoming the independent women. The object of this research is a novel by Abi Dare entitled The Girl with the Louding Voice (2020). This research uses a qualitative descriptive method and theory Independent women of Simone de Beauvoir  which can be divided into three: Independent women and work, independent women and freedom, independent adventure.The researchers collect the data by reading, understanding, searching, and marking the data and then the researchers identified, qualified, and analyzed the data. The result shows that women against patriarchy such as subordination, exploitation, oppression and achieve their freedom by becoming independent women was found in the novel.

Abstract

The basic reason for conducting this research arose when witnessing firsthand several local people welcoming and celebrating Ashura (tenth of Muharram) day. In the process there are unique things both in terms of history, the materials used, the symbols that are highlighted, the method of implementation, and other rituals that are not found in other societies with similar rituals. The main problem discussed is how to touch historical values, local culture, and Islamic elements in the Ashura ritual. This study aims to find out the touch of historical values, local culture, and Islamic elements in the Asyura ritual. Because this type of research is qualitative descriptive with an ethnographic approach, primary and secondary data sources were obtained by means of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that it is very difficult for local people to solve the historical and local cultural elements of the rituals they perform even though it is a religious rite. The historical element is associated with historical events in the past where major disasters occurred which threatened the safety of lives so that people tried to prevent and anticipate them by carrying out rituals on Asyura Day. very classic and still imitate the traditions of his ancestors. Meanwhile, Islamic elements could be seen at that time, as well as the readings or prayers that were said during the Ashura (ten Muharram) rituals. Abstract

The Effect of Financial Incentives on Employee Performance at PT. Gatra Binakarya Kencana in Makassar. This study aims to determine the effect of financial incentives on improving employee performance at PT. Gatra Binakarya Kencana in Makassar. The population in this study were 35 employees. The sample technique used is a saturated sample. The analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. The results showed that: The results of the processed analysis of the regression equation data that has been carried out show that the provision of financial incentives has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The halal industry is a very developed sector in recent years, quite a lot of countries are competing to be able to exist in this industry, including Indonesia. Halal certification mandated by Law No. 33 of 2014 is actually an effort by Indonesia to be part of it as well as the key to entering this industry. As a country with Muslim-majority citizens, halal certification should not be difficult but in reality, until now there are still more products that have not been certified halal than products that already have halal certificates, especially in the food sector (food and beverages). Of course, this is interesting to study how the community, especially Small Micro Enterprises (MSEs) are concerned about halal certification. This becomes important because someone does something depending on how someone means to do it. To find out how MSE means a halal certification, this study uses a qualitative research design where data mining is done through interviews and documentation. The results of this study concluded that there is a classification of MSE meaning halal certification, namely the first MSE that states that halal certification is its religious obligation, therefore even if the government does not require it through the law, this halal certification is a necessity that must be done. Second, MSEs believe that halal certification is important for their business, namely that it can expand market expansion and increase their income so that they certify their halal products for the benefit of the economy. Third, MSEs who understand that this halal certificate is a trend must be followed because of the law's encouragement. Therefore, this MSE certifies its halal products because there is a grant from the relevant agency for the halal certification process.   Keywords: MSE, Halal certificate

Abstract

This paper describes one of the influential figures in the Arab world, namely Hafez al-Assa'd. The method used is descriptive qualitative research, by analyzing, describing the life history (individual life history) of the person being studied and the socio-historical conditions in which the character lived. This paper provides an overview of the figure of al-Assa'd and the issues of conflict in Syria. The results of the study show that Hafez al-Assa'd by joining the military, especially the Syrian air force, smoothed the habit of taking strategic positions in the government, which later made him president of Syria for 30 years. The conflict in Syria is a prolonged conflict that involves many parties, both pro-government and opponents, organizations, interests and the state. Issues that are always heralded by religious conflicts and disharmony between Sunnis and Shiites, are only one of the factors that cause major wars in the country. Many other factors have caused a prolonged war in Syria, among others, caused by economic, political, ideological, defense and "foreign" interests.

Abstract

The research examines and analyzes the level of local wisdom in preserving coral reefs in the Spermonde Islands community. Specifically, the main research locations are Barrang Caddi Island, Badi Island and Bontosua Island. The choice of location was based on the damaged condition of the coral reef ecosystem, the existence of a coral reef ecosystem rehabilitation program that was implemented involving the community, and even though it was located on small islands, the means of transportation and communication were smooth. The research was conducted from September to November 2022. This research is classified as a quantitative descriptive research with a sample size of 200 heads of families selected using the stratified random sampling method. The results showed that the level of local wisdom in preserving coral reefs was in the high category. Local wisdom in terms of human-nature relations, human-human relations, as well as trust in intra-human relations, is very supportive in preserving coral reefs. Local wisdom includes knowledge of the passimombalang hornbill for the season and fishing area, knowledge of the pa'boyaboyang hornbill for ship repair and fishing gear, Pa'lopian knowledge of the use of wind, currents and waves, as well as natural signs in the sky, sea and land, belief in not catching the fish around the sacred taka-taka, the social structure of the punggawa mustard community, and the prohibition to go out to sea on Fridays which have an impact on the marine ecosystem. These findings support the theory that local wisdom in a place is inseparable from the influence of various factors and influences people's behavior in or towards the environment.

Abstract

  Investor behavior plays an important role in making investment decisions in the capital market because an appropriate investment decision is not only based on fundamental factors as a rational aspect, but is also influenced by psychological factors, namely investor behavior which is an irrational aspect in stock trading and expectations of returns. received. This study aims to examine the influence of heuristics on investment behavior by using investment ethics as an intervening variable.The research method of this study is quantitative research. This study uses an associative approach. The associative approach is research that aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The population of this study are investors who invest in shares in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in Makassar City who are still actively investing. The sample criteria of thisstudy are investors who invest in shares in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the city of Makassar. In addition, the investment criteria is to have a minimum time of 1-2 years.The results of the study show that the heuristic variable is a factor that also influences one's investment behaviour. This reveals that the higher the heuristic attitude or behaviour of an investor will also affect investment behaviour in making investment decisions. Heuristic variables or moral considerations have a positive influence on investment ethics. The investment ethics variable has a positive effect on investment behaviour. This happens because investors tend to always take moral considerations by observing the consequences that will occur both to the individual himself and also to his social environment in determining investment choices and attitudes. The heuristic variable has a positive effect on investment behaviour through investment ethics.

Abstract

Increased activity in the Central Integrated Business Area in Makassar City, especially the use of the integrated pedestrian path in the Karebosi field and its surroundings, is not equipped with the provision of adequate facilities and infrastructure, resulting in the degradation of spatial functions, along with the increase in community mobility. The method used is a survey method with a collaborative approach which will be described quantitatively and qualitatively, with the aim of knowing the characteristics of the pedestrian path in the area, formulating the general concept of an environmentally sound pedestrian path. The research focus is located on the integration of the Karebosi field pedestrian path and its surroundings. Based on the analysis and discussion, it is obtained that the physical characteristics of the pedestrian path are determined by the factors of comfort, safety and patterns, along with their activities that have not worked effectively. In some segments of the pedestrian path, it is used as a parking area and there are temporary office activities in segment A (Kartini street) which is connected to segment B (Kajaolalido street). For the application of the environment on pedestrian paths, in general the concept can be rearranged several lanes indicated to be a barrier factor, as well as developing aspects that refer to the embodiment of P2KH.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the application of police discretion by internalizing the concept of religious moderation in dealing with street crimes by police officers. The emergence of street crimes with various criminal acts, such as theft and bribery have greatly disturbed the public so that a new formulation is needed to fix this condition. Furthermore, the internalization of the fair and balanced principle of religious moderation in the police discretion is able to optimize the performance of the police officers in carrying out their duties, including the application of discretion carefully and in accordance with legal regulations. This research is qualitative research which is described descriptively. The data collection technique used was interviewed. The results showed that the concept of religious moderation gave positive results in the application of police discretion. The positive results are: 1) Religious moderation has succeeded in being present as controllers and supervisors from within (internally) of the individual policeman in every discretionary action against the motorcycle gang members; 2) The concept of religious moderation helps police officers understand Islam and the importance of being moderate towards followers of other religions; 3) Increase community satisfaction with the performance of the police institution.
