Abstract: This article aims to describe the social movement of the Samin indigenous people in fighting for environmental justice against the cement factory in the Kendeng mountains as the face of the representation of capitalism. The social movement pioneered by the Samin indigenous people is very unique because this struggle is accompanied by the use of symbols of local cultural traditions of the Samin indigenous people. This article will use the eco-feminist conception as a political movement to analyze the social structure that perpetuates the practice of capitalism and the conception of the spiritual paradigm of the indigenous people as an analysis of the local epistemology of the Samin indigenous people in laying down the ethical awareness of the preservation of the Kendeng mountain nature conservation movement. The development of the times and the introduction of several new teachings into the Toraja area made many changes, specifically the understanding of symbols in the traditional rituals of the Toraja people, one of which is the tau-tau symbol. Abstract

Abstract. Leadership is connected with who is the leader and who are the followers. It also related with the influence of the leader. Woman leadership is controversial issue especially within patriarchal culture. While The bible doesn’t explain about leadership, It’s telling the story and giving life examples about leadership which mostly are male leadership. So where is the role for woman leadership in the bible? The bibilcal study of Judges 4-5 was done to find a pattern and character that was shown by Deborah, a woman leader. The bible record that Deborah “was leading Israel at that time” Judges 4:4 . That explain that Debora takes the role of leader for Israel in the time of judges. From her story we can study how she led and the pattern that she used as woman leader, that is “a team leadership” where she led Israel side by side with Barak.

Abstract

The human person is a quintessential example of appearance necessitating and moderated by what does not appear. The question of what is real concerns non-appearing dynamics of what makes any appearance possible. Concerning human life, what then is the unseen impetus of corporeal life and activity? This is a focus on the animating and motivating impetus of human life that is customarily equated with soul, psyche or the unique I, which actively relates to others, yet remains inaccessible to their gaze, apart from self-representation by words, gestures and actions of a body. Appearance is here dependent on a profound non-appearance without which, there are no human appearances or indeed, appearances of anything to human consciousness. Engaging selected writings of Leibniz, this article gives particular focus to the concept of soul in relation to impetus, appetition and purpose in human appearance as an expressive body.
