Abstract

This study aims to determine the assessment of customer / ship owner satisfaction, of the performance carried out by PT Putra Bukit Raya Line in managing the clearance of departure of fishing boats in the Karimun Sea. The subjects in this study were 30 customers / ship owners, to assess the performance carried out by PT Putra Bukit Raya Line in carrying out clearance management services, which were authorized by customers / ship owners to the ship agency company. The selection of the subject of this research is based on customer satisfaction / shipowners at PT Putra Bukit Raya Line. Based on the results showed, the quality of service between the percentage interval on the independent variable X quality of clearance management services 89.12%, and the dependent variable Y customer satisfaction / shipowner 89.06% at PT Putra Bukit Raya Line in accordance with the descriptive percentage criteria 81% - 100%, with the category strongly agreeing on the quality of clearance management services. The research results from each dimension show that the physical evidence dimension (Tangible) is the dimension that has the smallest quality value, while the largest quality value is in the empathy dimension (Empathy).

Abstract

Appreciation of employee performance is very necessary in a company to improve the quality of performance and work enthusiasm for employees. One of them is SUBCON MICRO ENGINEER which operates in the field of distribution and installation of ducting installations. This company gives appreciation in the form of bonuses to its employees. The existing bonus calculation uses several criteria such as the employee's length of service and the employee's net salary. From the criteria obtained, it can be calculated using the Fuzzy Tsukamoto method, then creating decisions in the form of few and many variables. Once the variable decision is obtained, it will produce a nominal employee bonus.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cutting speed on several variables, namely the final dimensions of the cutting results, time efficiency, and surface roughness using CNC Plasma Arc Cutting. This study used an experimental method on cutting AH36 steel with a thickness of 11 mm with a cutting speed of 3000 mm/min, 4000 mm/min, 5000 mm/min. Surface roughness testing was carried out using a visual test. The results showed that the lower the cutting speed, the less accurate the final dimensions were due to the long cutting flame hitting the material and vice versa. The greater the cutting speed, the faster the cutting is done. . The higher the cutting speed, the rougher and untidy the surface roughness. The lowest accuracy value is 3 mm x 3 mm with a cutting speed of 3000 mm/min, while the highest accuracy is 3 mm x 1.5 mm with a cutting speed of 5000 mm/min. The most efficient cutting speed is using a speed of 5000 mm/min with a completion time of 9.12 seconds.

Abstract

Currently metal joining (welding) is widely needed in the world of fabrication, mining and shipping construction. Good welding has a guiding procedure in the form of WPS. WPS has several parameters that determine heat input. This research was conducted to determine the compatibility between the parameters in the procedures used and the actual parameters used in the field. The research was carried out on 3 samples that had the same dimensions, namely a diameter of 4" with a thickness of 6.02 mm. The three samples were welded by three different welders with the same qualifications. The research results found that the actual parameters used were not too far from those stated in the WPS. The welds are then checked visually and then continued with the NDT process in the form of RT & PMI. This is done to determine the condition of the inside of the weld and its chemical composition after the welding process

Abstract

Material Needs Estimation The plate used in the ship repair process is a major requirement of raw material supporting the shipping industry. We know that the amount of material is never right in a development, which often happens to be inadequate and has an impact on the disruption of a production process. The situation is inadequate to a need that the production process is obstructed or runs smoothly, excessive raw material procurement can cause high storage costs and investment in raw material supplies. Material is a construction project that covers 40-60% of the cost to be issued by the company. In this paper, an analysis of the material needs of PT. Multi Ocean Shipyard. So get results for MT. FORTUNE PASIFIC-XLIX can be known as ton of 20354.3kg. To reduce the set-up, and lead time costs and maximize operational efficiency and also inventory investment can be suppressed as low as possible. By using the MRP (Material Requirement Planning) method, it is possible to calculate the amount, cost and time of the MRP Form to know the order, volume and tonnage time. Abstract

Work network planning or also known as network planning is a method used in the manufacture of tugboats. The network planning analysis method used in tugboat shipbuilding in this study is to use the cpm (critical path method) method.The purpose of this research is to find network planning on the work of making tugboat items to find out which activities are crisis paths to minimize delays in the completion of making tugboat items. The type of research used is qualitative research. The research variables used are the creation of a work network, determining the earliest time of the event (eet) and the slowest time of the event (let), the critical path and the completion time of making tugboat items. The type of data used is quantitative data sourced from interviews, observations and company documents. Critical work is an activity: A. (Preparation and Submission of Contracts), B. (Making and Submission of Drawings), C. (Provision of Matrial), E. (Fitting), F. (Fit Up), G. (Checking by Supervisors from the Shipyard), H. (Welding), J. Abstract

Sekitar 62% luas wilayah Indonesia adalah laut dan perairan, hal ini dikonfirmasi dari data KKP, luas wilayah daratan sebesar 1,91 juta km2 sedangkan luas wilayah perairan mencapai 6,32 juta km2. Sehingga dapat dipastikan laut berperan penting untuk negara Indonesia terutama dalam hal ekonomi. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkan transportasi air guna menunjang kegiatan perekonomian tersebut, salah satuna dengan Kapal Tongkang. Kapal tongkang tidak memiliki mesin (propeller) sehingga harus ditarik oleh kapal tunda. Dalam pembuatannya, kapal tongkang berbeda dengan kapal pada umumnya. Kapal tongkang hanya memiliki konstruksi tanpa mesin. Dalam hal ini kapal tongkang berfungsi layaknya jembatan yang menyebrangkan transportasi darat yang di tarik oleh tug boat. Tug Boat memiliki peran yang sangat penting untuk menarik tongkang. Namun dalam beberapa keadaan, tongkang mengalami hambatan. Untuk mendapatkan ketahanan yang lebih optimal, pemasangan skeg dilakukan di linggi haluan. Analisa dilakukan menggunakan software maxsurf. Diketahui penambahan skeg pada kapal tongkang bagian haluan menghasilkan nilai tahanan yang berbanding lurus dengan nilai kecepatan kapal. Nilai tahanan kapal pada kecepatan 1 knot adalah 3.5 kN sedangkan pada kecepatan 10 knot nilai tahanan sebesar 253.3 kN. Nilai tahanan total pada kecepatan yang sama pada variasi kapal tongkang berbeda dimana kapal tongkang dengan skeg memiliki nilai lebih besar yaitu 1085.6 kN dan 1088.5 kN dibandingkan kapal tongkang tanpa skeg dengan nilai 1079.9 kN hal ini karena luasan basah yang lebih besar, namun pada kapal tongkang dengan penambahan skeg variasi 1 dinilai lebih efisien karena mampu meminimalisir hambatan gelombang.

Abstract

Padeye is an object shaped semicircle that made of metal and welded to a profile. The top priority in lifting process is the safety of the structure to be lifted. The structure must not suffer damage or overstress during the lifting process. This causes in mendesai padeye must bethrough careful calculation so that the resulting design is in accordance with the load to be lifted that will be lifted. This research uses a quantitative method by using design calculations and loading on the padeye design. The results research shows that the padeye design for a 100-ton load plan with dimensions Length 360mm, Width 260 and Height 400mm has a stress below the allowable stress so it is safe to use so it is safe to use.

Abstract

Welding using the Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) method is one of the popular welding techniques in the manufacturing and construction industries. Even though SAW has advantages in high productivity and welding quality, it still faces challenges related to porosity defects that can arise during the welding process. Porosity defects are one of the serious problems that can reduce the strength, ductility, and corrosion resistance of welded joints. In this study, analysis of porosity defects in SAW welding was carried out. First, a literature study was carried out to understand the factors that influence the formation of porosity during SAW welding. These factors include the nature of the base material, the setting of welding parameters, the composition of the shielding gas, and the condition of the base metal surface. The results of this study indicate that the formation of porosity defects in SAW welding is strongly influenced by the setting of welding parameters and conditions in the field. This study provides better insight into the nature and characteristics of porosity defects in SAW welding, and provides guidance for reducing or avoiding porosity defects through proper control of welding parameters and good surface preparation. By reducing the porosity defect rate in SAW welding, it is hoped that it will increase the reliability and quality of the resulting welded joints, thereby meeting higher industrial standards and structural safety.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of heating torch (Preheating) on ​​the surface temperature of 8mm thick plate grade AH36 with 16mm plate grade AH36, namely heating given to the base metal at the right temperature before welding. This research uses preheat temperatures of 80°C, 110°C, 140°C, and 170°C. Temperature is the temperature of a base metal around the area to be welded, namely before welding begins. Each plate sample is placed at a distance and similar heating conditions using a standard heating torch. The research results show that the thicker the plate, the temperature distribution on the surface is more even than the thinner plate, which can cause distortion. Observations were made regarding the time required to reach temperature variations of 80°C, 110°C, 140°C, and 170°C on the surface of the AH36 steel plate. . Plates that are 16mm thick will have a higher heat absorption capacity and take longer to reach the desired 65°/110° temperature. Whereas an 8mm plate may reach the desired temperature faster than a 16mm plate. The difference in plate thickness can also affect the heat distribution generated by the heating torch (burner). The 16mm plate may have better heat spreading ability than the 8mm plate may cause deformation.
