Abstract

Pantun is an orderly and structured bound language that can provide direction, guidance, direction, and guidance. The language used in rhymes can also be studied in terms of meaning, one of which is denotative and connotative meaning. The problem studied in this study is what is the meaning of the rhyme at the traditional marriage ceremony of the Malay community in Sorek 2 Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency? This study aims to describe, analyze, and interpret the denotative and connotative meanings of the rhyme at the traditional Malay marriage ceremony in Sorek 2 Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency. The theory used in this study is the theory of Chaer (2009) and (2012). The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in this study are documentation techniques and interview techniques. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 1) From 200 lines of rhymes in 50 rhymes that the author describes, there are 179 data on denotative meanings in marriage rhymes in Sorek 2 Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency, and 2) From 200 lines of rhymes in 50 stanzas In the rhyme that the author describes, there are 21 connotative meaning data in marriage rhymes in Sorek 2 Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency.

Abstract

Ecranization is a study that discusses the transfer of the whitewashing of the novel into the film. The problems contained in this research, namely: how is the process of ecranization of the shrinking aspect in the novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu? How is the process of ecranization of additional aspects in the novel and film Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu? How is the process of ecranizing the various aspects of change in the novels and films of Rembulan Tenggelam di Facemu? This study aims to determine: the process of ecranization of the shrinking aspect in the novel and film Rembulan Tenggelam di Facemu; The process of ecranization of additional aspects in the novel and film Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu; The process of ecranization of aspects of change varies from novels and films Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu. This research includes library research (Library research). This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using hermeneutic techniques and observations. The theory used is the theory of Eneste (1991). The results of the study: (1) Aspects of shrinkage there are 97 data that occur in the elements of the plot, characters, and setting of the novel. Such as the absence of 3 characters Rinai, Beverage Trader, Qolu in the novel; (2) Aspects of addition there are 21 data that occur in the elements of plot, character, and film setting. As added scene 1, the characters of Sister and Doctor in the film; (3) Aspects of change vary, there are 34 data that occur in plot elements, characters, and novel settings. Like the changing setting of the atmosphere during the Eid prayer which depicts the caretaker of the orphanage and the orphanage children going to celebrate the takbiran night, while in the novel they go to the field for the Id prayer. The ecranization process causes shrinkage, addition, and various changes. This happens because of the differences in the media used in the making of novels and films, differences in the production process, and differences in the enjoyment process.

Abstract

This research is motivated by endocentric phrases. The problems studied in this study are: How are the coordinating endocentric phrases in the editorial of the December 2020 edition of the Tribun Pekanbaru newspaper? What is the attributive endocentric phrase in the editorial of the December 2020 edition of the Tribun Pekanbaru newspaper? How is the appositive endocentric in the editorial of the December 2020 edition of the Tribun Pekanbaru newspaper? Abstract

Autistic students at Pekanbaru Pembina State SLB have their own uniqueness in learning. They have a learning style that is different from other normal children. Especially in SLB Negeri Pembina Pekanbaru. The dominant learning style in autistic children is memorizing the information as it is (rote learner), memorizing the sentence as a whole (gestalt learner), even some who quickly understand the information when given visual learner assistance. Based on this, the authors raised the issue of research regarding Learning Style of Autistic Students in Learning Indonesian Language at Extraordinary Schools (SLB) of Pembina Pekanbaru. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data were collected using tests from Lakshita's learning style theory (2010). The population in this study were all autistic persons who sat in class VI of the Pembina Negeri Pembina Pekanbaru, amounting to 20 people. The sample used is purposive sampling or purposive sampling. The sample in this study amounted to five autistic children from the VIA and VIB classes. The results of the study found that the learning style of autistic students in Pekanbaru Pembina Negeri Extraordinary Schools tended to use visual learner learning styles. This is based on research findings, the learning style that has the highest value is the visual learning style with an average value of 80% (good). After that followed the Gestalt Learner learning style with an average value of 77% and continued with the learner rote learning style with an average value of 75%. The findings in this study are: First, for the visual learning style of autistic children, it is better to read stories with picture media. They better capture the contents of the reading if helped with pictures. Second, for the Gestalt learner learning style, autistic children tend to memorize sentences in their entirety without understanding the meaning of the word per word contained in the sentence. Third, for the learner rote learning style, autistic children tend to memorize information as it is, without understanding the meaning of the symbols they memorize it. Autistic children prefer lessons that use teaching aids such as pictures, photos, picture books, and posters to attract their learning interest

Abstract

Sunyi di Dada Sumirah is a novel by Artie Ahmad which tells of three different periods of having to live their destiny in their own silence, while injustice continues to accompany their steps. This research discusses the injustice of women in the novel Sunyi di Dada Sumirah by Artie Ahmad using the Sara Mills model of critical discourse analysis. There are various kinds of gender discussions, starting from the feelings of men or women, as well as the injustice or discrimination that women receive themselves. Thus, in the novel it is also necessary to carry out critical discourse analysis. Based on this background, the problem formulation in this thesis is How are women viewed from the position of the subject-object in Artie Ahmad's novel Sunyi Di Dalam Dada Sumirah? How are women viewed from the reader's position in Artie Ahmad's novel Sunyi Di Dalam Dada Sumirah?. The method used in this research is qualitative content analysis. This method is commonly used to understand symbolic messages from a discourse or text. This research is viewed from the subject-object position and the reader's position. The purpose of this research is to describe, analyze, identify, interpret and conclude the position of the subject-object and the reader in describing women in the novel Sunyi di Dada Sumirah by Artie Ahmad. The results of this study concluded that even though the women who were the subjects suffered, the portrayal of women in the novel was still biased. In this novek woman is still depicted as a weak figure, unable to fight back when she gets acts of violence, her position is under men or someone in power and often becomes the object of male exploitation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the unique reduplication of the Malay language in terms of form and meaning, in terms of form related to the number of syllables produced can be different when translated into Indonesian. Then in terms of meaning, there is a change in meaning if a word undergoes a reduplication process and does not change the meaning of its basic form. The formulation of the problem in this study, namely, (1) What is the form of reduplication of Riau Malay dialect of Rokan Hulu in Rantau Kasai Village, North Tambusai District? and (2) What is the meaning of reduplication of Riau Malay dialect of Rokan Hulu in Rantau Kasai Village, North Tambusai District? The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze and conclude the form and meaning of the Riau Malay language reduplication in the Rokan Hulu dialect in Rantau Kasai Village, North Tambusai District. The method used is ethnography. The data analysis technique used is the Spradley model. The techniques used are interview techniques and note-taking techniques. This research uses Ramlan's opinion. Based on the results of the study, the data used in this study amounted to 119 data. The conclusions in this study are, 1. The form of reduplication contained in Riau Malay dialect of Rokan Hulu in Rantau Kasai Village, North Tambusai District (1). Entire Reduplication (2). Partial Reduplication, (3). Reduplication with the process of affixing affixes, and (4). Phoneme change reduplication. 2. The meaning of reduplication in Riau Malay dialect of Rokan Hulu in Rantau Kasai Village, North Tambusai District (1). Many Meanings, (2). Meaning Repetitive, (3). The meaning of the act with pleasure, (4). Mutual Meaning, (5). Meaning related to work, (6). The highest level of meaning, and (7). The meaning of feeling intensity.

Abstract

This research is entitled Barriers of Indonesian Language Teachers to the Implementation of Learning Stages During the Pandemic Period at SMPN 01 Siak Hulu. This study uses a qualitative research design that aims to describe the obstacles Indonesian language teachers have in implementing the learning stages during the pandemic at SMPN 01 Siak Hulu. The subject of this research is the Indonesian language teacher. The object of this research is the teacher's problem in implementing the stages of Indonesian language learning, namely Initial Activities, Core Activities, and Closing Activities. The data collection method used, namely the interview and documentation method. The problem in the implementation of learning is that in the preliminary activities the teacher does not carry out context building activities for students. The results obtained in the initial activities of teachers are still constrained in providing motivation, one of which is communication. In the core learning activities, the teacher does not use the media as a tool in the implementation of learning, and the stages of scientific learning are not carried out properly. The problem at the end of the learning activity is that the teacher does not evaluate directly after the lesson ends. Suggestions that can be given in this study are that teachers are expected to increase their knowledge and abilities in implementing learning systems, both face-to-face and online learning systems or using available applications.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of interrogative sentences in the Mata Najwa Talkshow which are influencing the listeners. The problems studied in this research are (1) What is the form of interrogative sentences asking for confession in the Mata Najwa Talkshow? (2) How is the form of an interrogative sentence that asks for an answer about one element of the sentence formed with the help of a question word in the Mata Najwa Talkshow? (3) What is the form of an interrogative sentence that asks for an answer in the form of a 'reason' in the Mata Najwa Talkshow? (4) What is the form of an interrogative sentence that asks for an answer in the form of an opinion in the Mata Najwa Talkshow? (5) What is the correct form of interrogative sentences in the Mata Najwa Talkshow?. The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, interpret, and conclude the form of interrogative sentences that ask for confessions, ask for answers from question word elements, ask for reasons, ask for opinions and present them in the Mata Najwa Talkshow. The theory used to analyze the research problem is the theory proposed by Chaer (2009), Ramlan (2005), and other supporting theories. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach using content analysis method. The type of research conducted includes satisfaction research. Based on the analysis carried out, found 40 data regarding the form of interrogative sentences that ask for confession of 6 data, ask for answers from question word elements with 24 data, ask for reasons for 2 data, and ask for opinions on 8 data. No correct interrogative sentence found. The results and conclusions of this study are (1) interrogative sentences that ask for recognition found in the Mata Najwa Talkshow include interrogative sentences that ask for answers in the form of "yes" or "no", or "yes" or "no" with questionable intonation provide detailed answers. (2) Interrogative sentences that ask for an answer regarding one element of the sentence with the help of question words found in the Mata Najwa Talkshow include interrogative sentences that ask for an answer with one of the question words "where" then add the preposition "di" namely "where". (3) Interrogative sentences that ask for answers in the form of reasons found in the Mata Najwa Talkshow include interrogative sentences that use the question word "why" and get a complete answer. (4) Interrogative sentences that ask for answers in the form of opinions found in the Mata Najwa Talkshow include using the question word how and getting answers in the form of opinions. (5) The correct interrogative sentence is not found.

Abstract

Language is a means of communication acquired by humans from birth. At the beginning of the baby is born, does not yet have the ability to talk to other people. Mastery of language by children begins with the acquisition of the first language, namely the mother tongue. However, there is a deliberate factor from parents in stimulating language that is not in accordance with the proper sound of the language. In addition, there is a factor in the difficulty of children in imitating the language of their parents. The aims of this study are to: (1) describe, analyze and interpret the form of changes in language sounds that occur in language acquisition in children aged 2 years (2) describe, analyze and interpret the factors that cause changes in language sounds in language acquisition that occur in Syakira Fiola Zahwa . The data that has been collected will be described, analyzed, and interpreted in detail and systematically so that it can be seen the form of changes and factors that cause changes in the sound of language in Syakira Fiola Zahwa. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, listening to the conversation, fishing, taking notes, and recording. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The form of changes in language sounds that occur in the language of children aged 2 years in the language acquisition process consists of; (a) changes in the sound of language that occur due to the failure of the child to suppress a process. (b) changes that occur as a result of generalizations, (c) changes in the sound of language due to the irregularities of the conscience processes. (2) Factors of Changes in Language Sounds That Occur in the Language of 2-Year-Old Children in Language Acquisition consist of: (a) changes in language sounds that occur due to intentional factors from parents, (b) sound changes that occur due to factors that a child experiences difficulties when imitating the voices of their parents. This shows that there are 3 forms of changes in the sound of language in children aged 2 years (Syakira Fiola Zahwa) which are influenced by 2 factors, namely the intentionality of parents and the difficulty of children imitating the sounds of their parents' speech.

Abstract

This research Pantang-larang is a belief by the ancient Malay community that is related to the customs/traditions and cultural heritage of their ancestors. Most of that taboo is passed down from generation to generation orally. Taboos are used by parents in order to educate the community to become a moral generation, especially the younger generation in order to lead to the application of good values ​​that can be practiced in life. However, now taboos are slowly disappearing in this modern age, because the current generation only sees taboos as a threat, frightening and smells of myth and death. This study examines the type, meaning and function of the taboo of the Malay community Peranap in Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency with the problem of this research, (1) What are the types of taboo Malay community Peranap Peranap District Peranap Indragiri Hulu Regency ?, (2) What is the meaning contained in the taboo of the Malay community Peranap Peranap District Peranap Indragiri Hulu Regency ?, (3) What is the function contained in the taboo of the Malay community Peranap Peranap District Peranap Indragiri Hulu Regency ?. The purpose of this research is to explain and describe the problems associated with the formulation of the problem is to determine the type, meaning and function of taboos. For the analysis the authors used the taboo theory by Effendy (2003) meaning by Pateda (2010) and function by Danandjaya (1991). The method used by researchers in this study is a descriptive method, with a qualitative approach. While the technique that researchers use in this research is the technique of interviewing the informant directly, then record all about the taboos found from the informant and this study also uses observation techniques, researchers who are also Malay community Peranap also heard people around researchers who use taboo and from that experience, the researcher finally took the data from what the researcher had heard in addition to the researcher's data that is taboo.
