Jurnal ini merupakan sarana publikasi ilmiah yang dikelola oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Islam Riau. Tujuannya adalah sebagai wahana publikasi ilmiah berupa hasil penelitian, pengembangan teori, eksperimen, dan tinjauan pustaka. Abstract

Educational values ​​are concepts and ideals that are important and useful for humans. In its division, the value of education also includes morals, namely the view of the values ​​of truth and one's ability to distinguish between good and bad. One of the literary works that contains the value of moral education in it is folklore. The problems studied in this study are (1) how is the value of moral responsibility contained in 21 Folk Stories of Bumi Lancang Kuning composed by Yeni Maulina and Crisna Putri Kurniati? (2) what is the value of human conscience contained in 21 Folk Stories of Bumi Lancang Kuning by Yeni Maulina and Crisna Putri Kurniati? (3) what is the value of the rights and obligations contained in 21 Folk Stories of Bumi Lancang Kuning composed by Yeni Maulina and Crisna Putri Kurniati? This study aims to describe and analyze data about the value of moral education including the value of moral responsibility, the value of human conscience, and the value of rights and obligations contained in 21 Folk Stories of Bumi Lancang Kuning composed by Yeni Maulina and Crisna Putri Kurniati. The theory used in this study is the theory of Ihsan (2005), Hasbullah (2005) and Salam (2000). The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data collection technique used in this research is hermeneutic. Based on data analysis on the values ​​of moral education in 21 Bumi Lancang Kuning Folklore by Yeni Maulina and Crisna Putri Kurniati, it can be concluded that (1) Of the 131 data on the value of moral education that the author found, there are 46 data on the value of human moral responsibility that consisting of 24 data on the value of consciousness, 11 data on the value of love/liking, and 11 data on the value of courage, (2) Of the 131 data on the value of moral education that the author found, there are 10 data on the value of human conscience which consists of 2 data values ​​of true and false quality. 8 data on the value of certain quality, doubtful, approximate, and confused, and (3) From 131 data on the value of moral education that the author found, there are 75 data on the value of human rights and obligations consisting of 8 data on the value of human obligations to God, 13 data on moral values ​​in family life, 13 data on moral values ​​of parents to children, 20 data on moral values ​​of children to parents, 4 data on moral values ​​in neighborly life, 1 dat a moral values ​​of students in learning, and 16 data on morals in leadership.

Abstract

his research is motivated by the variety of language politeness carried out on Twitter social media accounts, especially on Felixsiauw's account. This makes the writer interested in conducting research on speech politeness in the comments column of Felixsiauw's twitter account. The problem in this research is how politeness is in the comments column of Felixsiauw's twitter account. The purpose of this study is to explore and collaborate on the politeness scale of twitter users' comments on Felixsiauw's twitter account. The data source in this study is the comment column on Felixsiauw's twitter account on May 6, 2020 and January 14, 2021. This study uses a qualitative approach and uses the method of content analysis. Data collection techniques are documentation techniques, listening techniques, note-taking techniques. The results of this study found 120 data in total. On the scale of losses and gains, there are 24 data which are dominated by polite speech. On the choice scale there are 15 data which are dominated by polite speech. On the indirectness scale, there are 56 data which are dominated by impolite speech. On the authority scale, there are 3 data which are dominated by polite speech. On the social distance scale, there are 22 data which are dominated by polite speech. Most of the utterances found on the indirectness scale were the least found on the authoritative scale. In this study, research findings regarding the Leech scale were obtained, namely the authority scale and social distance scale. For the authority scale, it is difficult to know whether someone has the same social rank as Felixsiauw or not. For the social distance scale, there is difficulty in knowing whether someone has close social distance or not based on their comments. This is because the research data is in the form of comments on social media

Abstract

Nandung is a song or poem that contains advice, trust, religious messages to be sung to children. Nandung in Peranap sub-district has become a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation by mothers when putting their children to sleep, during bathing, akikah, and circumcision events. This research is motivated by several things, including the meaning contained in the poetry of the arts of the people of Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency in semiotic studies. The problem that is taken in this research is how the semiotics contained in the nandung art poetry of the Peranap Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency, the theory used in this study is Pierce's theory which includes (1) icons, (2) indexes, (3) symbols. The approach used is a qualitative approach, the type of research used is field research. The method used is descriptive method, the technique used is hermeneutic technique. The result of this research is that there is a semiotic study of the aspects of icons, indices, and symbols in the Nandung Arts poetry of the Peranap sub-district community.

Abstract

Fable stories are animal stories intended to personify human characters. The animals that are used as story characters can talk, behave, and behave like humans. This research is entitled "The Structure and Language Rules of a Collection of Fable Stories in Indonesian Language Textbooks for Class VII". The problems contained in this study are: (1) what is the structure of the collection of fable stories in Indonesian class VII textbooks? (2) what are the linguistic rules of a collection of fable stories in Indonesian class VII textbooks?. The purpose of this study is to find out how the structure and linguistic rules of a collection of fable stories in Indonesian textbooks for class VII are. This study uses a qualitative research approach and content analysis research methods (Content Analysis). The theories used in this research are: Nurgiyantoro (2013), Emzir and Rohman (2015), Alwi. H, et al (2003). The data of this research are the structure of fable stories and the linguistic rules of fable stories contained in 17 fable stories published by the 2016 revised edition of the Ministry of Education and Culture and Erlangga publisher. The results showed that the structure of the fable story in the orientation section contained 16 fable stories that included and fulfilled the concept of orientation structure and one fable that did not include and did not meet the orientation structure concept, because the one fable story did not explain the place where the story took place. In the complication and resolution section, 17 fable stories are included and fulfill the concept of complication and resolution structure. In the coda section, there are 16 fable stories that are included and fulfill the coda structure concept and one fable story that does not include and does not meet the coda structure concept, because the researcher did not find any use of coda structure in the story. Meanwhile, in the linguistic rules of fable stories, there are 228 verbs and their classifications, 44 uses of the article sang and si, 81 uses of place and time, and 48 uses of conjunctions then, then, and finally.

Abstract

The novel Ingkar Karya Boy Candra the researcher examines the value of character education which includes faith and piety, honesty, intelligence, toughness, caring contained in the novel. This research method is descriptive method. The technique used in this research is reading technique, note-taking technique and conclusion technique. research results show. The Value of Character Education in Boy Candra's Ingkar Novel in the aspect of Faith and Piety contains 9 data. The value of character education contained in the Ingkar Novel by Boy Candra in the Honesty aspect contained 7 data. The value of character education contained in the Ingkar Novel by Boy Candra in the Peduli aspect contained 10 data. The Value of Character Education in the Novel Ingkar Karya Boy Candra in the aspect of toughness there are 4 data and the value of character education contained in the Novel Ingkar Karya Boy Candra in the aspect of intelligence. Based on all the data, it is known that the value of character education contained in the novel Ingkar by Boy Candra was nominated by aspects of caring and faith and piety

Abstract

This research is entitled Language Style in Tulus Song Lyrics in Human Album. This study aims to 1) describe the use of language styles contained in the collection of Tulus song lyrics. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected by using the note-taking method. The data in this study are in the form of song lyrics containing the dominant language style of hyperbole. Sources of data used in this study are 10 song lyrics in the album Tulus. Based on the results of the analysis, 16 data were found that used language styles. The use of this language style gives rise to meaning that makes a song can be enjoyed beautifully.

Abstract

This study examines the semiotics of Ferdinand de Saussure, namely the signifier and the signified in a collection of songs by Mahalini Raharja. Many researches on the semiotics of Ferdinand de Saussure in song lyrics have been carried out. However, in a collection of songs by Mahalini Raharja with the titles of the songs Perfect Story, Rest of Taste, Against Restu, and Bring Him Back, it has never been studied from the semiotic aspect of Ferdinand de Saussure. The problem examined in this study is: how is Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotics, namely the signifier and signified in a collection of songs by Mahalini Raharja? The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, and interpret Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotics, namely the markers and signifiers in a collection of songs by Mahalini Raharya. The approach used is qualitative with content analysis method. Data collection techniques are non-participant observation techniques and literature study. In this study, the researcher made an interpretation by dividing the lyrics of a song by Mahalini Raharja into several lines and then the data included would be analyzed using Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic theory. The results of the research and the amount of data on Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotics in the collection of Mahalini Raharja's songs amounted to 28 data.

Abstract

The background of This research because the assumption that connotative meaning is difficult to understand, but it is inversely proportional to the reality. This can be seen in the collection of songs in the album of fallen leaves which contain several connotative meanings, but the number of listeners can reach more than 29 million and is still growing. The purpose of this study was to analyze and explain the connotative meaning of positive and negative feelings in a collection of songs in the album of fallen leaves. This research uses the song lyrics contained in the album of fallen leaves as an object to get some data. The method used by the researcher is the Content Analysis Method. Based on the results of the research on the connotative meaning of the collection of fallen leaves album songs, several positive category and negative category connotative meanings were found. There are 5 positive connotative meanings and 3 negative connotative meanings. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the connotative meaning used by fallen leaves in each of the songs has positive and negative values.

Abstract

Language has a function that is no less important, namely to convey aspirations. The aspirations of Indonesian students at the demonstration on April 11, 2022 were conveyed with hope through posters with the intention of rejecting the 3 periods, the government's performance, and cooking oil. This study aims to describe the deepest types of metaphors in the written language of the demonstration poster on April 11, 2022 conducted by Indonesian students. This study uses a qualitative approach to the method of content analysis or content analysis. The data collection technique in this study was first to find data, second to manage data, and third to present data. The data sources in this study were demonstration events and demonstration poster photos obtained by researchers from posts via Instagram and images from other internet media such as Google. The data of this research are in the form of pictures or photos of posters of demonstrations by Indonesian students on April 11, 2022. The results of the analysis show that from the thirteen poster data that the author got, there are five metaphors with abstract to concrete images, two metaphors with concrete images to abstract, two metaphors with predicative images, three metaphors with predicative images. nominative imagery, and one metaphor has a synesthesia image.

Abstract

Actually slang itself has existed for a long time, but the mention of the language designation is different. In the past, slang was better known as prokem language. This prochem language was popular in the 1980s. Initially, slang was only used by certain groups. It is only used by certain groups because the initial purpose of this language is so that only members of that group will recognize its meaning. Each group has their own distinctive characteristics of slang. So that people who are not members of the group do not recognize the meaning of the language they use in speaking. This South Jakarta language research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Qualitative method is research that intends to understand the phenomenon of what is experienced by research subjects (Moleong, 2004: 6). And also the data collection technique in this study used the listen and note method because it was in the form of writing. The listening method is a data acquisition that is done by listening to a language use (Mahsun, 2005: 90). Listen and record is a process that is documented by recording the data that has been collected. Researchers have found 23 languages ​​that were taken from interviewing sources from Jakarta and some of the data was taken from social media such as Instagram, tiktok, whatsapp, based on the results of the above discussion as a whole what was studied there was the use of language that was reversed or not in accordance with the KBBI and PUEBI.
