Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Kehutanan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Terbit pertama kali di bulan Agustus 2018. Pada Tahun 2018 hanya mengeluarkan dua edisi yaitu Agustus dan Oktober. Selanjutnya pada tahun 2019 sampai sekarang, jurnal dipublikasikan sebanyak 6 edisi, yaitu Februari, April, Juni, Agustus, Oktober dan Desember.

Abstract

Lahan kegiatan semen pasca penambangan harus direhabilitasi dan direvegetasi sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku di Indonesia. Jabon putih (Anthocephaluscadamba) adalah salah satu spesies alternatif yang ditanam di lahan semen pascatambang, karena spesies ini mampu hidup di tanah terbuka dan tidak subur. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kemampuan hidup dan pertumbuhan jabon putih di lahan bekas tambang semen yang memiliki berbagai jenis tanah, yaitu laterit, tanah liat dan batu kapur. Metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan inventarisasi dan pengukuran tanaman Jabon putih yang ditanam di berbagai jenis tanah (laterit, tanah liat dan batu kapur). Penelitian dilakukan selama tiga bulan dengan durasi pengukuran setiap bulan untuk 300 tanaman dengan masing-masing jenis tanah terdiri dari 100 tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase kelangsungan hidup tanaman jabon putih di laterit, tanah liat, dan batu kapur masing-masing adalah 91%, 87% dan 93%. Kualitas tanaman sehat di tanah laterit adalah 50%, tanaman tidak sehat 37%, tanaman mendekam 4% dan tanaman mati 9%, di tanah liat jumlah tanaman sehat 46%, tanaman tidak sehat 32%, mendekam tanaman 9% dan tanaman mati 13%, sedangkan di tanah kapur jumlah tanaman sehat adalah 67%, tanaman tidak sehat 24%, tanaman merana 2% dan tanaman mati 7%. Tingkat pertumbuhan rata-rata pada tanaman Jabon putih terjadi di laterit, tanah liat dan batugamping masing-masing 1,51 cm, 1,61 cm, dan 1,81. Pertumbuhan jumlah daun jabon di tanah laterit, tanah liat, dan kapur masing-masing adalah 0,59, 0,61 dan 0,67. Pertumbuhan tanaman jabon putih terbaik dari ketiga jenis tanah tersebut adalah tanah kapur.

Abstract

The aims at this study to: (1) Analyze the physical properties of soil on peatlands, (2) Determine peatland management efforts. This research was conducted at Jalan Suka Maju (BRG Assisted Land) in Liang Anggang District, Banjarbaru City Government, South Kalimantan Province. The results of the analysis of soil physical properties, the results of bulk density have low values, soil porosity has a higher value, particle density has a low value, soil permeability has a high value, the consistency of existing soil is soft and the maturity of sapric peat soil, Efforts in peatland management are carried out using agroforestry patterns such as (a) Keeping peat water from quickly descending from the land as the system used is closed land, (b) Making mounds for agroforestry patterns does not exceed 25-30 cm with a base width of 30-40 cm, (c) Using woody plants such as prince, galam, candlenut, petai, jengkol, besides agricultural/fruit crops such as oranges, rambutan, sapodilla, onion, pineapple, banana, chili, and corn. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of market orientation toward business performance on Micro Small Enterprises (MSEs) frame and door crafters in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. Customers orientation have effect whereas the competitor orientation and interfuctional coordination has not effect to business performance on MSEs performance of frame and door crafters in the city of Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. The benefit of this research is to provide input to improve the orientation of competitors and always coordinate between functions within the company's organization in order to increase the business performance. The data was examined using PLS-SEM analysis techniques, with Smart-PLS3 software according to validity and reality had been tested. We can conclude that customer orientation has a significant effect on the company performance. The Tvalue in this counting is (3,494) and the p value is (0,0001). The orientation of the competitor has apositive insignificant influence on company performance, it can be seen in the value of the T value calculation, the results are (0.064) and the value of p value (0.507). Inter-functional coordination has a positive non-significant effect on company performance, it can be seen in the T value (0.664) and p value (0.507).Keywords: market orientation, customer orientation, competitor orientation and interfunctional coordination and business performance

Abstract

Komposisi Jenis, Struktur Tegakan dan Diversitas Tumbuhan dari Dukuh di Desa Mandiangin Barat Kecamatan Karang Intan Kabupaten Banjar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan komposisi jenis, struktur tegakan dan diversitas tumbuhan di kawasan dukuh. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode nested sampling. Setiap sampel terpilih dari tegakan dukuh dilakukan pengukuran dengan membuat 4 plot berukuran 20 m x 20 m atau setara dengan 0,16 ha. Komposisis jenis dianalisis dengan matrik tabulasi, indeks diversitas ditentukan dengan Shanon-Wiener H’). Struktur tegngakan diindikasikan dengan Indeks Nilai Penting.Terdapat 46 jenis tumbuhan yang ditemukan di tegakan dukuh. (14 jenis tumbuhan bawah), 17 jenis semai, 19 jenis sapihan, 21 jenis tiang dan18 jenis pohon. Tapus (Elingera sp) merupakan jenis tumbuhan yang mendominasi tingkatan vegetasi tumbuhan bawah dengan indeks nilai penting sebesar 62,695 %, karet (Hevea brasiliensis) mendominasi tingkatan vegetasi semai dengan dengan indeks nilai penting sebesar 35,209 %, durian (Durio zibethinus) dan langsat (Lansium domesticum) mendominasi tingkatan vegetasi pancang dengan dengan indeks nilai penting sebesar 47,260 % dan 45,254, durian (Durio zibethinus) dan langsat (Lansium domesticum) mendominasi tingkatan vegetasi tiang dengan dengan indeks nilai penting sebesar 75,508 % dan 66,876 %, durian (Durio zibethinus), langsat (Lansium domesticum), karet (Hevea brasiliensis), cempedak (Arthocarpus champeden), rambutan (Nephelium mutabile), ramania (Bouea macrophylla), manggis (Garcinia mangostana) mendominasi tingkatan vegetasi pohon dengan dengan indeks nilai penting secara berurutan sebesar 161,785%, 151,110 %, 134,276 %, 125,388 %, 122,555 %, 111,645 %, dab 105,103%. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman tumbuhan (H’) untuk tingkat tumbuhan bawah, semai, pancang, tiang dan pohon adalah 1,987, 2,445, 2,254, 2,413, 2.300. Terdapat beberapa jenis tumbuhan yang merupakan penciri khusus dari tegakan Dukuh.

Abstract

There was no data available on the type of food and the height of the perch for birds to eat that food at the Banua Botanical Garden, Banjarbaru. The research aimed to identify the type of bird food and determine the perch height where birds eat. Data were collected from three types of habitat, namely open land, mixed vegetation, and acacia vegetation. Through the survey and point count with a maximum radius of 50 m at 07.00-10.00 and 16.00‒18.30 for 3 replications, birds were observed and the occurrences ―when a certain bird species ate a certain type of food at a certain perch height above ground level― was calculated. Types of food were grouped into fruit, grains, nectar, insects, fish, and others. The height of the perch was divided into three classes, namely Class A (0 - <5 m from ground level), Class B (5 - <10 m), and Class C (10 - <15 m). There are 315 occurrences carried out by 24 bird species (19 families). The most common occurrence is birds eating fruit and grains. The most common perch height where birds do so is Class A.Tidak tersedia data tentang jenis makanan dan ketinggian tenggeran burung memakan makanan itu di Kebun Raya Banua, Banjarbaru. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis makanan burung dan menentukan ketinggian tenggeran yang sering digunakan oleh burung ketika memakan jenis makanan itu. Data dikumpulkan dari tiga tipe habitat, yaitu lahan terbuka, vegetasi campuran, dan vegetasi akasia. Melalui metode survei dan lingkaran hitung beradius maksimal 50 m pada jam 07.00‒10.00 dan 16.00‒18.30 selama 3 ulangan, burung diamati dan kejadian bahwa spesies burung tertentu memakan jenis makanan tertentu pada ketinggian tenggeran tertentu dari permukaan tanah― dihitung. Jenis makanan dikelompokkan dalam buah, bulir, nectar, insekta, ikan, dan lainnya. Ketinggian tenggeran dibagi dalam tiga kelas, yaitu Kelas A (0 ‒ <5 m dari permukaan tanah), Kelas B (5 - <10 m), dan Kelas C (10 - <15 m). Tercatat 315 kejadian dilakukan oleh 24 spesies (19 famili) burung. Kejadian yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah burung memakan buah dan bulir. Ketinggian tenggeran yang paling banyak ditemukan saat burung melakukan itu adalah Kelas A.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of liquid compost fertilizer on growth of Aquilaria malaccensis seedlings some parameters of growth such as life percentage, height, diameter increament and number of leaves are measured. Completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 10 replications is used in the research. Abstract

Industri kerajinan yang berada di Kalimantan Selatan adalah industri kerajinan anyaman purun yang berbahan baku tumbuhan purun. Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan memiliki bahan baku tumbuhan purun yang cukup melimpah. Data Dinas Perindustrian Perdagangan dan Penanaman Modal (Disperindag dan PM) Barito Kuala pada tahun 2006 persebaran jenis tumbuhan purun mencapai ± 713 Ha, meliputi purun danau ±641 Ha dan purun tikus ± 72 Ha. (Kosjoko, 2015). Industri kerajinan yang berada di Kalimantan Selatan adalah industri kerajinan anyaman purun di desa Walatung. Tumbuhan Purun (Lepironia articulata Domin) tumbuh pada daerah rawa dan memiliki nilai ekonomis. Kerajinan anyaman purun di desa Walatung memiliki potensi yang cukup besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya rendemen industri kerajinan anyaman purun berupa tas dan topi. Manfaat penelitian untuk memberikan informasi dan masukan untuk dijadikan bahan pertimbangan perkembangan industri kerajinan anyaman purun. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diketahui besarnya rata-rata rendemen kerajinan anyaman tas purun 84.93% dan rata-rata rendemen kerajinan anyaman topi purun sebesar 76.85%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the characteristics of visitors to the Banua Botanical Gardens, to find out the motivations of visitors who came to the Banua Botanical Garden and to study visitors' perceptions of the existence of the Banua Botanical Garden in Banjarbaru City. The method used in this research is descriptive survey with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data is collected through observation and interviews. The results of the study showed that the characteristics of visitors who came to Banua Botanical Garden were classified by sex, specifically 50% male and 50% female, the age of visitors ranged from 11 years to 50 years and the education of visitors was mostly students. Motivation of visitors based on the reasons for visiting the Banua Botanical Garden is dominated by visitors who have a reason to visit 75% of the panorama of city forests, to see arts and culture as much as 4%, to see flora and fauna as much as 6% and others 15%. Community acceptance of the existence of the Banua Botanical Garden is very good according to 37% of visitors, good 51% and moderate 12%.Keyword: Visitors' perception; Banua Botanical Garden

Abstract

This research aims to calculate life percentage on every treatment and analyze the growth of Kemiri (Aleurites   moluccana L. Willd) seedlings to the various interaction between shade or light intensity. The variable of seedling growth includes height, diameter and sum of leaves. This research was conducted in open land area around farms and plantations with flat slope conditions in Padang Anyar roads, Tungkaran, RT 04, RW 02, South Borneo Province for 3 month. The data was analized using factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatment. Each replication consists of five sample and every treatment was repeated trhree times so that 60 seeds are needed (4x5x3). The result showed the life percentage of seedlings on every treatment was 100%. Growth under shade shows a significant effect on height of seedling, a very significant effect on diameter of seedling, and not give significant effect for sum leaves, known that 50% shade the best give effect to average response toward the increase of tall was 43,73 cm, stem diameter was 0,73 cm and sum of leaves was 13,8 leaves).
