Abstract

Abstract : This research is conducted to know the effect of entrepreneurship education, self efficacy and necessity for achievement of students’ entrepreneurship intention at Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business of IAIN Surakarta in 2017, either partially or simultaneously.This research used quantitative method. The study population was 986 people who were students of 7th, 9th, 11th and 13th semester at Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business of IAIN Surakarta. Data collection used questionnaires given to the sample of 189 respondents. The data were processed through the requirements test and hypothesis test used SPSS 21 program.The results of this study indicate that all items questionnaire are declared valid and reliable. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) entrepreneurship education has a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention of 0.360; 2) self efficacy has a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention of 0.153; 3) necessity for achievement has a positive effect on the entrepreneurial intention of 0.183; 4) entrepreneurship education and self efficacy simultaneously affect the entrepreneurial intentions by 20%; 5) entrepreneurship education and necessity for achievement simultaneously affect the intention of entrepreneurship by 20.8%; 6) self efficacy and necessity for achievement simultaneously affect the intention of entrepreneurship by 17.4%; 7) entrepreneurship education, self efficacy and necessity for achievement simultaneously affect the entrepreneurial intentions of 62.8%

Abstract

 Abstract : This research aims at determining the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM), organization culture and Islamic leadership style on employees’ performance of Assalam Hypermarket Kartasura in 2017 partially and simultaneously.This research applied quantitative method. Population of this research was 100 employees of Assalam Hypermarket Kartasura. Technique of collecting data used questionnaire given to 80 respondents. Data were analyzed by using test of requirement and hypothesis applying program of SPSS 17.0. The result of this research indicates that R2 of 0.253 is 25.3% variation of employee performance variable can be explained by variation of variable of  Total Quality Management (TQM), Organization Culture and Islamic Leadership Style. Meanwhile, 75% is variable that is not included in model similarity applied. The test partially shows positive and significant effect between variable of TQM and employees’ performance with significant value of t more or less 0,05 (0,003 more or less 0,05) and tobserved more than ttable i.e. 3,102 more than 1,990. Variable of Organization Culture shows positive and significant effect on employees’ performance with significant value of t more or less 0,05 (0,048 more or less 0,05) and tobserved more than ttabel  i.e. 1,855 more than 1,990. Meanwhile, variable of Islamic Leadership Style gives positive and significant effect on employees’ performance with significant value of t more or less 0,05 (0,002 more or less 0,05) and tobserved more than ttable i.e. 3,284 more than 1,990.Keywords: Total Quality Management (TQM), Organization Culture, Leadership Style, Employees’ performance

Abstract

Abstract :  This research aimed to know: (1) management of zakat in Amil Zakat Institution of Dompet Ummat in Sambas District. (2) the implications of Amil Zakat Institution of Dompet Ummat Sambas District in the development of community in Sambas as a whole. This research was a qualitative descriptive analysis research. The research was conducted at Amil Zakat Institution of Dompet Ummat in Sambas District on May to June 2017. The subjects was the Institute of Amil Zakat Dompet Ummat. The informants were the Head of Institutions, employees and muzakki. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation. Data validity checking was done by extension of participation, persistence of observation, and examination by the source of research data. Data analysis technique was done by inductive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The results of the research showed: (1) Management of collection and distribution of zakat in Amil Zakat Institution of Dompet Ummat in Sambas Regency in planning, supervision, implementation and organization was almost already running well, only job description in each division has not been arranged. But in the distribution and management of its fund management has not implemented the appropriate management of rules and rules of shariah law yet, (2) The implication of utilization and distribution of zakat in Amil Zakat Institution of Dompet Ummat in Sambas Regency has not yet improved the welfare of society as a whole, because in the proportional division of zakat is not yet shariah. Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research were to know influence of: 1) the promotion to customer decision in taking financing; 2) the service quality to customer decision in taking financing; 3) the promotion and service quality to customer decision in taking financing at PT BPRS Insan Madani Kartasura Sukoharjo Year 2017.This research used associative quantitative method. This research was conducted at PT BPRS Insan Madani Kartasura Sukoharjo in May - June 2017. The population of this research was financing customer of PT BPRS Insan Madani Kartasura of 182 customers. A sample of 65 respondents taken with simple random sampling technique. Data collection used questionnaires. Technical analysis of data using multiple regression, F test, t test and test of determination. Before analyzing the data, the prerequisite test of classical assumption was test of normality, multicollinearity test, and heteroskedatisitas test.The results of this research were: 1) Promotion (X1) has a t value of 2.645 with a Sig value of 0.048, Sig value smaller than 0.05 indicated that the test was significant, this mean promotion (X1) affects the customer's decision to take the financing Y); 2) the quality of service (X2) has a value of 9.267 with the Sig value of 0.000, the Sig value smaller than 0.05 indicated that the test was significant, it means the service quality (X2) affects the customer's decision to take the financing (Y); 3) The result of analysis was calculated F value 4.510 with Sig 0.000 value so that Sig value is smaller 0,05 hence it was concluded that promotion variable (X1) and service quality (X2) have significant effect to customer decision in taking financing (Y) in BPRS Insan Madani Kartasura Sukoharjo; Result of determination test of R2 obtained value 0,953 mean 95,3% promotion and service quality have positive effect to customer decision in taking financing, the rest equal to 4,7% influenced by other variable outside of research. Abstract

Abstract : The mining companies are closely related to waste and environmental pollution due to the exploitation of natural resources. The mining companies have high levels of industrial and environmental risks. The ex-mining environment can not be returned 100% as it was during the initial environmental conditions prior to mining activities. Therefore, the companies need to pay attention to the importance of carrying out social responsibility. This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, debt, and environmental performance on the corporate social responsibility disclosure in the mining companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index 2010-2015.The research method used is quantitative research method. The population in this study are all The Mining Companies listed in Jakarta Islamic Index 2010-2015 of 5 companies. This study uses purposive sampling with a sample of 5 Mining Companies Listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index 2010-2015. The dependent variable of this study is the corporate social responsibility disclosure. For independent variables include: the profitability, debt, and environmental performance. For data analysis method using the multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, model accuracy test, and t test.The results showed that partially the profitability and debt have no effect on the corporate social responsibility disclosure (0.229 and 0.625). While the environmental performance has an effect on the corporate social responsibility disclosure (0.000). Based on F test results, profitability, debt, and environmental performance have an effect on collectively on the corporate social responsibility disclosure in The Mining Companies Listed in The Jakarta Islamic Index 2010-2015 (F arithmetic 9,961). Suggestion from this research is The Mining Companies Listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index 2010-2015 should pay more attention to environmental performance because this variable influence to corporate social responsibility disclosureKeywords: Profitability, Debt, Environmental Performance, and Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure.

Abstract

Abstract : Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) issued a fatwa on bank interest and the prohibition of transaction with the conventional banks in early 2004. After the MUI fatwa, both types of banks are still recorded growth in all sectors of performance, there is no massive diversion of funding from conventional banks to Islamic banks. One of the factors that shape consumers behavior in their decision is a psychological factor consisting of perceptions and attitudes. This study aims to determine the influence of 1). Perception, 2). Attitude, 3). Perceptions and attitudes of business actors in Kauman Surakarta after MUI fatwa against the selection of sharia banks.This research uses quantitative descriptive approach. The research located in Kauman Surakarta was conducted in May-June 2017. The research population was 284 business actors with a sample size of 181 subjects. Sampling sampling method using fixed disease sampling. Respondents' data were collected using questionnaires. The dependent variable of research is the selection of syariah bank. Independent variables of research are perceptions and attitudes. Test the validity of perceptual variables, attitudes and selection of sharia banks using Corrected Item-Total Correlationmore than 0.35. The reliability test used Cronbach's Alpha value with the values of 0.841 perceptions, 0.922 attitudes and 0.957 election of sharia banks. Data analysis using multiple logistic regression.The results obtained 1). Perceptions affect the selection of Bank Syariah with Wald 24,328 test value significant at 0,000 (more or less0.05) 2). Attitudes affecting the selection of sharia banks with Wald 28,115 test value significant at 0,000 (more or less0.05) 3). Perceptions and attitudes affect the selection of sharia banks with the results of the simultaneous test (Omnibus Tests of Model Coefficients) 96.359 significant at 0.000 (more or less0.05). Prediction analysis on result of research is equal to 1,999 perception and 1,987 for attitude where equation formula in multiple logistic regression is Y = 40.055 + 1.999 X1 + 1.987 X2.Keywords: Perception, Attitude, Selection of  shariah Bank, MUI Fatwa, Multiple Logistic Regression.

Abstract

Abstract : Baitul Māl wat Tamwil (BMT) as one of the community's choices related to shariah financial institutions increasingly faces greater challenges. Due to the increasingly intense competition faced, Baitul Māl wat Tamwil (BMT) requires to improve service performance and strengthen the market segment in order to compete with other financial institutions. Good service performance can be supported through the application of Islamic business ethics. This study aims to examine the effect of the application of Islamic business ethics consisting: unity (tawhid), justice ('adl), free will, responsibility, and truth to customer retention in Baitul Māl wat Tamwil (BMT) Tumang Boyolali, either partially or simultaneously.This research was conducted in Baitul Māl wat Tamwil (BMT) Tumang branch in Boyolali on June 2017. Data were collected from questionnaires distributed to 100 members by accidental sampling method, then analyzed data obtained by quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative analysis includes descriptive statistical test, validity and reliability test, classic assumption test, hypothesis test through t test, F test and coefficient of determination test (R2) applying program of SPSS 21.0. Qualitative analysis is the interpretation of the data obtained in the study that has been implemented by giving information and explanation.The results showed that all variables of Islamic business ethics have a positive and significant impact on customer retention. Based on multiple linear regression analysis can be concluded that: 1) unity (tawhid) has a positive effect on customer retention of 0.175; 2) justice (‘adl) has a positive effect on customer retention of 0.137; 3) free will has positive effect to customer retention of 0,072; 4) responsibility has a positive effect on customer retention of 0.160; 5) truth has a positive effect on customer retention of 0.427; and 6) unity (tawhid), justice (‘adl), free will, responsibility and truth simultaneously affect on customer retention by 61.6%. Therefore, improving the application of Islamic business ethics in every operational activity is able to improve customer retention in an institution.Keywords : Islamic business ethics, unity (tawhid), justice ('adl), free will, responsibility, truth, customer retention

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of capital on improving the welfare of poor communities in Sragen Regency; 2) the influence of income on improving the welfare of the poor in Sragen Regency; 3) the impact of consumption on the improvement of the welfare of the poor in Sragen Regency; 4) health effects on improving the welfare of poor communities in Sragen Regency; 5) the influence of education on improving the welfare of the poor in Sragen Regency; and 6) the influence of capital, income, consumption, health, and education together on improving the welfare of poor communities in Sragen Regency.The research method used in this research is quantitative research method. This research was conducted in BAZNAS and LAZISMU Sragen regency. The population in this research is all the students in BAZNAS and LAZISMU Sragen regency. Sampling technique in this research use accidental sampling with sample as much as 90 mustahiq. Test the instrument using validity and reliability test. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test consisting of normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroskedastic test, F test, and t test.The results of this study indicate that: 1) capital affects the improvement of welfare. It is obtained from t count (9,113) more than t table (1,992) and probability 0.000 more or less 0,05; 2) income affects the improvement of welfare. It is obtained from t count (2,760) more than t table (1,992) and probability of 0,007 more or less 0,05; 3) consumption affects the improvement of welfare. It is obtained from the t count (2,241) more than t table (1,992) and the probability of 0,028 more or less 0,05; 4) health affects the improvement of welfare. This is obtained from the t count (4.338) more than t table (1.992) and the probability of 0.000 more or less 0.05; 5) education affects the improvement of welfare. It is obtained from the tcount (14,993) more than t table (1,992) and the probability of 0.000 more or less 0.05; 6) capital, income, consumption, health, and education affect the improvement of welfare. It is obtained from the value of F count of 162.645 more than F table = 2.37 and sig. 0,000 more or less 0,05.Keywords: capital, income, consumption, health, education, and welfare improvement.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims at knowing: 1) the effect of fund management on customers’ loyalty at BMT Kube Sejahtera Surakarta; 2) the effect of promotion on customers’ loyalty at BMT Kube Sejahtera Surakarta; 3) the effect of service quality on customers’ loyalty at BMT Kube Sejahtera Surakarta; 4) the effect of fund management, promotion and service quality on customers’ loyalty at BMT Kube Sejahtera Surakarta.Research method applied was quantitative method. This research was conducted at BMT Kube Sejahtera Surakarta. Population of this research was all customers at BMT Kube Sejahtera Surakarta; 1506 people. This research used purposive sampling; sampling was 151 customers. Test of instrument use test of validity and reliability. Method of analyzing data used multiple linier regressions, test of classical assumption covering test of normality, multicoliniarity, heteroskedastic, F and t. The result of this research shows that 1) variable of fund management is value of tobserved = 8.370 more than ttable 1.980 and probability is 0.000 more or less 0.05. This indicates that fund management affects loyalty; 2) variable of promotion is value of tobserved = 2.107 more than ttable 1.980 and probability is 0.000 more or less 0.05. This means that promotion affects loyalty; 3) variable of service quality is value of tobserved = 3.761 more than ttable 1.980 and probability is 0.000 more or less 0.05. this shows that service quality affects loyalty; 4) Result of F test is Fobserved 33.322 more than Ftable 2.68 and sig. 0.000 more or less 0.05. This indicates that fund management, promotion, and service quality affect significantly on customers’ loyalty at BMT Kube Sejahtera Surakarta. Result of determination coefficient is R2 = 0.405 or 40.5%. It means that ability of independent variables covering fund management, promotion, and service quality explains dependent variable, loyalty, 40.5%. and the rest of 59.5% is affected by other variables outside this research. Similarity of multiple linier regression of this research is Y = 14,294 + 0,694 X1 + 0,120 X2 + 0,108 X3.Keywords: fund management, promotion, service quality, loyalty

Abstract

Abstract:This research aims at determining: 1) description of management of Principal academic administration at MTsN Filial Srebegan Ceper Klaten, 2) supporting and inhibiting factors solutions in implementing Principal academic administration at MTsN Filial Srebegan Ceper Klaten. This research used qualitative descriptive approach. Technique of collecting data used observation, interview and document. Subject of this research was the Principal, while informants were the vice chief of curriculum and the teachers. Technique of data validity applied triangulation of source. Technique of data analysis used interactive model covering data collection, data reduction and conclusionThe result of this research shows that: 1) management of principal academic administration at MTsN Filial Srebegan is systematically in continuing process, including four activities, planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. 2) Supporting factors of management of principal academic administration are strongly commitment by the principal to have better implementation on management of principal academic administration, most of teachers and staffs are educational academician degree-holder, inadequate classrooms for teaching and learning activities and strategic school location. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors are lack of ability on IT and minimum facilities also inhibit this implementation. Solutions in facing those difficulties are improving ability on IT by course or private, and procurement of facilities, such as library room, administrative room and additional facilities of IT, especially in teacher’s office and staff’s office, are needed.Keywords: Management, Academic administration, Principal
