Abstract

This study was designed to improve student learning outcomes in science using a project-based learning model for students of class IV SDN 3 Mataram. Based on the observation of the fourth grade teacher of SDN Negeri 3 Mataram on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, namely Ibu Ayu, it is known from the interview that SDN 3 Mataram is a primary school that is still actively implementing the 2013 curriculum. participation in the lesson because the teaching model used by teachers usually only involves the teacher speaking and the teacher does not use different teaching models. This study uses qualitative descriptive data analysis, where this study correctly describes the reality, which is facilitated by data collection methods and analysis of relevant data obtained from scientific situations. According to the results of training cycles 1 and 2 after using the PjBL teaching model, it can be seen that in the initial conditions, the percentage of completion of studying scientific material on Energy Resources was only 43.7%, but at the same time, the increase in the completeness of student learning after using the PJBL training model in cycles I and cycle II respectively - 62.5% and 78.1%, respectively. Student completion increased by approximately 15.6%.

Abstract

This study was conducted to enhance students' motivation in topic-based learning on Topic 8 "The Area Where I Live, Mataram" using Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Class IV in SDN 19 Mataram. This type of research is called Research in the Classroom (PTK). The subjects of the study were 22 students of class IV SDN 19 Mataram, including 4 female and 18 male students. The PTK design uses the Kemmis and Taggart model, which includes planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection methods use questionnaires to observe and motivate learning. Qualitative descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. The results of the study show that there is an increase in student motivation, this can be judged by the increase in motivation that occurs in each cycle, namely in the pre-cycle the percentage of student motivation is 56%, in the first cycle the percentage of student motivation is 71%, and in the second cycle the percentage motivation - 81%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of problem-based learning (PBL) teaching model can enhance the motivation of students of class IV SDN 19 Mataram.

The purpose of this study is to examine the application of problem-based learning (PBL) model for improving the learning performance of students of class VI SDN 19 Mataram. This type of inquiry is called Classroom Inquiry. The data collection methods in this study are observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the application of problem-based learning (PBL) teaching model can enhance the learning performance of students of class VI SDN 19 Mataram. This can be seen in each cycle, where there is always an increase in learning activity and achievement of student learning activity indicators of 75%. At the stage of preparation for action, 57.68% of students showed educational activity, while 46.15% did not show it and fell into the poor category. Then in Cycle I there was a 70.77% increase in what appeared and 29.23% in what did not appear and was in the category quite well, and finally in Cycle II there was an 88.08% increase in what appeared. and what didn't appear. appears at 11.92% and is in the very good category.

Abstract

This classroom action research was motivated by the low results of thematic learning for theme 8 "Safety at Home and Travel" in class II at SDN 19 Mataram in 2022/2023. The lack of use of media in learning activities, monotonous learning methods, and the teacher's tendency to dominate which can be seen in teacher interactions with students are one of the factors for low student learning outcomes. This research aims to improve thematic learning outcomes for theme 8 through the use of visual media in learning activities. This type of research is Class Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles and through four stages in a recyclable manner, namely class action planning, implementation of class action learning, observation/observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 2nd grade students at SDN 19 Mataram with a total of 12 students. Data collection methods use questionnaires, documentation and tests. Data collection techniques in this research used observation and test techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of the research analysis concluded that between cycle I and cycle II there were significant differences and there was an increase in cycle II. In cycle I, the average score obtained by students was 64.4 with a completeness presentation of 58.3%, while in cycle II the average score obtained was 80.8 with a completeness presentation of 83.3% (cycle II). Teacher activity increased during two cycles, namely from the good category to the very good category. Student activity increased during two cycles, namely from the less active category in cycle I and to the active category in cycle II. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of visual media can improve the thematic learning outcomes of 8 class 2 students at SDN 19 Mataram for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

Identifying learning models that influence student learning motivation has generally received less attention. This leads to their low motivation to learn. The purpose of this study is to enhance students' learning motivation through the application of problem-based learning teaching model. This type of study is a classroom study that is conducted in two stages. The stages of each cycle include planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of the study were IVA class SDN 7 Chakranegara students in the academic year 2022/2023. The instrument of this study is the Learning Motivation Questionnaire, which is valid and reliable. The results of this study showed that students' learning motivation increased in each cycle from 49.810% in the pre-cycle, then from 57.259% in Cycle I and 78.074% in Cycle II. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of problem-based learning teaching model can enhance students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes by applying the Problem Based Learning model using visual media for class I SD. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) with the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models, each cycle consisting of (1) planning, (2) action and observation, and (3) reflection. The subjects in this study were class students at SD Negeri 39 Cakranegara with a total of 20 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, learning achievement tests and documentation. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and for the Steps of the Problem Based Learning model aided by visual media and test questions. This study uses completeness analysis and comparative descriptive analysis, namely comparing the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II scores. The results showed that student learning, which was initially in the pre-cycle of 37%, in the first cycle of learning increased with a mastery level of 59%. Then it increased again in cycle II to 89% of all students. Student responses tended to be positive where students expressed pleasure in learning using the Problem Based Learning Model. Can improve the learning outcomes of class I SD Negeri 39 Cakranegara.
