Abstract

A bank is an intermediate financial institution authorized to take deposits, lend money, and issue promissory notes or banknotes. In the present day, every adult must have at least one bank account. Additionally, bank services range from regular and hajj savings to large-scale loans. Students, one of the bank’s customers, usually utilize services confined to savings to preserve pocket money received from their parents and ordinary transactions like transfers and payments. Several factors, including the atmosphere, administrative fees, and the accessibility of ATMs and bank branch offices, impact students’ decisions about where to save money. It prevents the bank from predicting which services must be enhanced to encourage customers, particularly students, to select the bank. Therefore, prediction is required to ascertain the students’ choice of bank. This study employed data mining and the Support Vector Machine (LibSVM) algorithm. The quantity of data impacted the outcomes of the SVM classification. In addition, kernel types, k-fold values, and sampling techniques also influenced classification accuracy. LibSVM with a kernel type of RBF, a k-fold of 8, and shuffled sampling classified 200 data with an accuracy of 68.40%.

Abstract

The study of fonts encompasses not only the expression of letter forms but also other aspects of readability and appearance. The necessity for additional font references for mobile learning heightens the importance of the font selection issue. Because many writers want their readers to feel comfortable and at ease when reading their work, study on this font is necessary because if the font size on a mobile phone is too large or too tiny, it becomes unpleasant. This research aims to examine the varieties of fonts that feels comfortable, appropriate, and clear for mobile learning material. This study employed a survey-based data-gathering method. Research on fonts such as Garamond, Gill Sans, Cambria, Kalibri, Constantia, Lato, and Georgia with sizes 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, and 28 and short to lengthy phrases revealed that Georgia was recommended for small and medium size fonts with sizes 10 to 22. For greater font sizes, however, Garamond was suggested with a size of 26.

Abstract

The outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). Developing a vaccine is one of the best ways to reduce the virus's impact. Nevertheless, the development of virus mutations produces new variants that diminish the efficacy of the previous vaccine. Booster doses of the Covid-19 vaccine is still a matter of debate among the public, particularly among students, as evidenced by the low rate of booster vaccinations in the community, which is a result of a lack of knowledge about booster vaccines. The purpose of this study is to assess the level of understanding among Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) students regarding booster vaccinations, with the results subsequently serving as a factor or strategy for future government booster vaccination policy decisions. ANN and SVM algorithms could be used to predict the level of understanding of booster vaccinations among UMY students. However, the maximum level of precision in classifying the level of comprehension is not yet known. To determine which of the two methods, kernel and k-fold, provided the maximum level of accuracy, a comparative study was conducted between them. The research was conducted by disseminating questionnaires containing assessments of booster vaccinations to a total of 2095 respondents. Using randomized sampling type, this study yielded an accuracy of 88.45% for the ANN method and 89.93% for the SVM method in each scenario. In addition, the authors conduct feature efficiency, which aims to reduce the time and cost associated with data computation.

Abstract

Many people are interested in knowing how the public views President Joko Widodo's administration. Text Mining analysis can be one way to collect and analyze text data about Joko Widodo's administration and extract relevant information from the data. Data was obtained by collecting tweet data about Joko Widodo's government in 2022 on Twitter using Netlyitic. Then the Text Mining analysis of Joko Widodo's government was carried out using the Navie Bayes (NVB) classification and Support Vector Machine (SVM). This classification can be used to predict sentiment or public views of the government based on the tweets collected.  Based on a case study of the classification results of President Joko Widodo using Naive Bayesian classification, we obtained a precision value of 79%, a recall value of 91% and a precision value of 82%. And by using SVM, we get 85% precision, 95% recall, and 83% precision. Due to the high accuracy, recall, and precision, it can be said that SVM classification is more accurate than NVB.

Abstract

Since the majority of the electrical energy required to meet consumer demands is still produced by the typical power plant using fossil fuels, the world's electricity supply will eventually approach a critical point due to the steady depletion of fossil fuels. One solution to replacing energy derived from fossil fuels is solar energy. However, the results of energy generation are significantly influenced by the angle of the solar panels to the direction of sunlight. Therefore, in order to optimize the production of electrical energy, a microcontroller system that can track sunlight is developed using MicroPython. This research calculated the azimuth angle and elevation angle to create a solar tracker that can follow the sun's position based on time. The results of this research reveal that solar trackers at 21.30 volts and rooftop solar panels at 20.44 volts when both produce open circuit voltage. With an solar tracker, solar panels may operate up to at a 20% efficiency in sunny conditions, compared to an average efficiency of 18% for rooftop solar panels.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the power flow in a 150kV radial power system on the island of Bali, the reason the author uses the Bali island system is because the number of busbars in the system is not too many and the data on the system is known. The problem of this research is limited by determining the voltage, power flow, and power losses in the system. The method used in this study is the Gauss-Seidel method through simulation with the help of Visual Studio Code software and the Python 3.9.2 program. The simulation is carried out by producing a total of 8 iterations. The simulation is carried out to find the parameters of the load voltage, apparent power on the slack bus, current, power flow and power losses on the line. The simulation results show that, under a load condition of 70% of the load transformer capacity, the voltage at the load bus node experiences a voltage drop, reaching 4.48% at bus 10. So when the system operates for generation conditions, the power that can be generated is 1,275.6 MegaWatt of the total generator installed, and the power delivered to each bus node is 2,090 MVa and the power losses in the system are 3.69% of the total power distributed to the bus nodes
