Abstract

The tittle of this research is "Contribution of Information Quality of Work Effectiveness Against Employee Education and Higher Secondary Education Department of West Java Province". In general, this study aims to determine how much influence the quality of information on the effectiveness of employees working in the field Dikmenti Education Department of West Java Province. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The data collection technique using a closed questionnaire distributed to 49 employees as the study population (total sampling). Weight calculation results Mean Score (WMS), shows that the quality of information included in either category with a score of 2.97 and the effectiveness of the employees included in the excellent category with a score of 3.08. Normality test results on the distribution of the data showed that the variables X and Y have normal distribution, further analysis of the data using statistical parametric. The correlation analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient between variables X and Y is equal to 0.742 which shows that the correlation of the two variables are at the level of positive relationships and strong. Meanwhile, the results of significance test using t-test comparison is t_hitung (7.579) t_tabel (2,012) means that there is a significant relationship between the variables X and Y. Further, test results of the coefficient of determination is that the variable X contributes to variable Y for 55% and the rest 45% influenced by other factors. Results of regression analysis equation Y = 13.955 + 0.742 X. The conclusion is evident that there is a strong and significant relationship between Quality of Work Effectiveness Against Information Officer of Secondary and Higher Education in the Education Department of West Java Province.

Abstract

In general, this research aims to construct the instrument of health diagnostic of organizing resources specifically in training institute, which is used to overcome a problem or confusion experienced by the head of the institute in analyzing the organizing function. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The techniques used in compiling the instruments made up of three stages. The first stage is conducting the constructed test by revising the question items assisted with the lecturer. The second stage is constructing tests given to the respondents through questionnaires distribution to PPPPTK IPA, PPPPTK BMTI, and PPPPTK TK and PLB with the help of Google Form. Finally, the third stage consists of various tests, such as the validity test, reliability test, and Weight Mean Score. The total population is 278 and the number of samples is 165. This research used a proportional stratified random sampling technique. Based on the calculation, the total respondent in this research is 167 with the r table and the reliability test obtained are 0.1277 and 0.933 respectively. As to the health resources organizing in PPPPTK IPA, PPPPTK BMTI and PPPPTK TK and PLB can be pictured in a "healthy" level, this shows that the three institutes have implemented resources organizing activities in training institute according to the health diagnostic instrument of resources organizing in training institute, filled in by the respondents based on the tendency calculation of the average Weight Mean Score (WMS), with a total average dimension of 3.04 or 76.00 and a score converted to a scale of 1-100 (healthy category).

Abstract

Learning concentration is one of the important thing in student learning success. Concentration is needed to understand the material delivered by the teacher. One factor that supports concentrate is breakfast. Although it’s often ignored or underestimated, but actually it the main support of the brain to improve concentration of learning. Skipping breakfast can cause lethargy, weakness, dizziness and drowsiness. It causes a decrease or difficulty in concentrating during school learning activities. So breakfast is needed because it can improve concentration of learning.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis of Employee Needs based on Educational Background at the Secretariat of the Education Office of West Java Province". The purpose of this study was to analyze the number of employee needs based on educational background at the Secretariat of the Education Office of West Java Province. This type of research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, documentation studies and triangulation. The results of the study show that the job descriptions of each subsection at the Secretariat of the West Java Provincial Education Office are clear and listed in the job analysis document. Based on the analysis of employee needs, the positions experiencing a shortage of employees include the positions of Data Manager, Salary Manager, Financial Manager, Application Data Processor and Financial System Data Manager, Financial Statement Compiler, Financial Verifier, State Property Manager, Personnel Manager, and Needs Preparer. Inventory. Judging from the comparison of needs and supplies, the number of staff shortages for these positions is 47 people, with details of the position of Data Manager as many as 1 person, Salary Manager as many as 6 people, Financial Manager as many as 15, Application Data Processor and Financial System Data Manager as many as 3 people. , 1 person in preparing Financial Statements, 7 in Financial Verifier, 4 in State Property Manager, 9 in Personnel Manager, and 1 in Inventory Needs Compiler. Therefore, it is better to add employees as needed based on the relevant educational background as one of the job requirements.

Abstract

Leadership in an organization has a major influence on achieving its goals. The main research question of this study was thus whether the leadership in the organization is running well. Hence, an instrument is required. That leads to why this author was interested in researching it with the title "An Analysis of Leadership Health Diagnostic Instruments in Training Institutes." This study aims to make an instrument of leadership health diagnostic that can be useful to determine the health category of each training institutes being observed. Besides, to overcome any issues in carrying out management functions. The method used in this study was a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The study was conducted in the form of questionnaires, with data being gathered via google form. The sample of this study was the head centre, leaders at each division, field, and section as well as 165 employees from three training institutes, namely PPPPTK BMTI, PPPPTK IPA, and PPPPTK TK PLB. The technique used was a proportional stratified random sampling technique with calculations using the Taro Yamane or Slovin formula. Hence, the finding suggests that the three institutes are interpreted in the "healthy" category. This indicates that leadership activities and management functions have been well-conducted. Overall, the average calculation results of the general tendency are 3.54 or equal to 88.5.

Abstract

The theme of this research is "The Effectiveness of Management Facilities at the Training Center Operations and Marketing Agus Suroto PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Bandung”. management facilities is the process of procuring and utilizing components both directly and indirectly in the education process to achieve effective and efficient educational goals. Effectiveness is reviewed by the approach of objectives, systems, constituency strategies, competitive value. The objectives of this study are 1) Obtain an overview of the effectiveness of Facilities Management in the Training Center Operations and Marketing Agus Suroto PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Bandung. 2) obtain an overview of the obstacles in the management of facilities and infrastructure at BP OPSAR PT KAI (Persero). 3) Measuring the efforts made in overcoming the strongest obstacle of managing facilities and infrastructure in the Training Center Operations and Marketing Agus Suroto PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Bandung. This study uses qualitative research because it investigates direct phenomena and describes in depth. The findings in this study are described in accordance with the research questions, namely: 1) Having an effective approach in its implementation, the organizing committee has succeeded in communicating with teachers and students in realizing effective infrastructure management goals that refer to the vision and mission of the training center. The systems approach consists of an input-process-output, monitoring and evaluation system. The strategic constituency approach is evidenced by the organizing committee and instructors who are able to meet the needs of infrastructure for the needs of stakeholders during training activities, and the training center measurement reference is to obtain accreditation certification given by the director general. The training center's competitive value approach applies modernization innovations. 2) Inhibiting factors, namely technical errors, teacher negligence in filling in the TTD and the date on the student satisfaction evaluation form, student problems, there has been no improvement in the modernization of tools in the mechanical laboratory the problem is due to illness, the committee assesses graduation with a score indicator

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pelaksanaan supervisi kolegial guru dan pelaksanaan mengajar. Secara khusus, penelitian ini untuk: 1) mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan supervisi kolegial, 2) menemukan sejumlah faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat dalam supervisi kolegial guru, serta 3) dampak supervisi kolegial terhadap kinerja guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis korelasi menggunakan Aplikasi SPSS 26 menunjukkan bahwa: terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan kategori sedang antara pengawasan kolegial terhadap kinerja guru. Rekomendasi penelitian bagi kepala sekolah agar mampu meningkatkan pelaksanaan supervisi kolegial, terutama menjalankan dialog terstruktur dengan guru, agar menjaga ritme kinerjanya, Kata kunci: Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Mengajar Guru, Supervisi Kolegial.

Abstract

This study entitled "The Effect of Incentives to Work Discipline of Civil Servantsin PPPPTK TK and PLB Bandung". This research was carried in education andtraining institutions, technical and operational units Ministry of Education andCulture, employees with civil servant status are involved in the sampling of thisstudy. In general, this study aims to determine how the incentive effect thediscipline of employees working in PPPPTK TK and PLB Bandung. The methodused is descriptive method with quantitative approach, where the technique usedin data collection questionnaire that is enclosed with the number of 75respondents research. Data analysis and processing using the application's helpMicrosoft Excel 2010 and SPSS version 21.0 for Windows. The result of theanalyze of Means Weight Score (WMS), indicates that incentives are in the highcategory, with a score of 3,95 and discipline acquisition included in the categoryof work is very high with the acquisition of a score of 4,29. The results of the data analysis of the correlation coefficient between the incentive to work discipline shows the correlation value is equal to 0,475%, with determination coefficient of 22,5%, meaning that the incentive effect on work discipline civil servants of 22,5%, and the remaining 77,5% is influenced by other factors. The level of significance obtained 0,4607 ˃ 1,666 it means that there is a positive and significant effect between employee incentives with discipline in PPPPTK TK and PLB Bandung.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are very important support for the implementation of quality education. Building conditions, land area, classrooms, laboratories and libraries for example can affect the teaching and learning process. This will result in the competency standards of graduates later. This study aims to determine the amount of costs required to meet the standard of facilities and infrastructure, especially for the addition of land area and building area for junior high schools in Batununggal District. The research method used is qualitative research methods with 3 research objects, with the conclusion (1) the cost required at SMPN 4 Bandung for standard compliance, which is Rp. 11,791,352,456.00 (2) The cost required at SMPN 20 Bandung for standard compliance , namely Rp. 3,058,495,368.00 (3) The cost required at SMPN 31 Bandung for standard compliance is Rp. 2,209,174,986.00. To be able to meet the standards of educational facilities and infrastructure, schools can collaborate with the community so that they can use learning facilities that cannot be fulfilled by the school.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the Distance Learning Management in the Open School Program at SMAN 04 Bandung and SMAS Sebelas Maret Bandung. Distance learning management in this open school program consists of lesson planning, learning implementation, learning evaluation, and learning supervision. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The data collection technique in this study was through interviews, documentation studies, and observations which then used Nvivo software in data reduction. The results of this study indicate that distance learning management in open school programs includes 1) learning planning which is basically the same as regular school learning planning. However, there are differences in the open high school program system that is adapted to the place for learning and the provision of material time is only 1 hour/subject a week, 2) the implementation of learning that places more emphasis on online use and independent assignments, 3) learning evaluation which consists of task assessment , tests, and portfolios, and 4) supervision of learning carried out by the principal, assisted by the manager/person in charge of the open high school.
