Abstract

Research in the wake of the problems how much influence interpersonal communication head Dikmenti field to work productivity of employees at the Education Department of West Java Province. The method used is descriptive method supported by literature study. As well as using the techniques of data collection using the questionnaire enclosed with 4 rating scale (Likert) were distributed to 49 employees especially in the field Dikmenti as samples. The problems of this study (1) how the image of interpersonal communication chief of Dikmenti Education Department of West Java Province, (2) how the employee productivity Education Department of West Java Province, (3) how much influence interpersonal communication head of Dikmenti against employee productivity Education Department of West Java Province. Based on the results of data processing which is calculated by using the technique Weight Means Scores (WMS) shows that the average general tendency for the variable X (Interpersonal Communication) obtained at 3.06 and are in very good category. As for the average general trend in Y (Work Productivity) obtained at 3.45 to be in very good category. The calculation result normality test on the distribution of the data that the variables X and Y have normal distribution. Judging from the calculation of the correlation coefficient (rhitung) using the formula obtained Perason Product Moment correlation coefficient of 0675. Thisshows that there is a strong relationship between the variables X and Y. The test results significantly with t-test obtained t is known ttabel 6.031 and 2.012 compared to 6.03˃ 2012 means that significant relationship between interpersonal communication department heads Dikmenti on productivity employee of West Java Provincial Education Office. To determinethe influence of the variables X and Y is shown from the calculation coefficient of determination (KD) of 43%. This shows that the influence of the head of the field of interpersonal communication Dikmenti against employee productivity Education Department of West Java province by 43% and the remaining 57% is influenced by other factors. Likewise, the results of the regression analysis obtained by the equation Y = 44.949 + 0.525 X means every one-unit change in the variable X will provid a change in the variable Y for 0.525.Berdasarkan the above results it can be concluded that the research hypothesis that there is positive and significant correlation between Interpersonal Communication Division leader Dikmenti the Work Productivity Employee Education Department of West Java Province. The results of this study are expected to provide a benefit both for the institution, employees and for further research that will examine communication problems on the productivity of labor.

Abstract

This study entitled Principal Foresight Strategy in Implementation of Character Education “Jabar Masagi” at state Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Bandung. The problem that the authors have addressed in this study is about foresight strategy and implementation of character education “Jabar Masagi”. This research aims to find out how Principal implements Foresight Leadership Strategy in Character Education “Jabar Masagi” at SMKN 1 Bandung. This study use qualitative descriptive approach. Subjects of this study were a principal, teachers, and students. The data was obtained by interview and documentation study and were analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the, and concluding the data in in narrative form. The result of the study reveal that: 1) SMKN 1 Bandung has already implement Character Education “Jabar Masagi” since December 2018. The integration of each value in the Character Education “Jabar Masagi” at SMKN 1 Bandung were carried out by habituation method, the principle and teachers guidance by showing the students some set of an example, teaching and learning activity and also extracurricular activity. The implementation will not be separated by the role of the principle, teachers students and their parents. 2) In designing their future plans, principle analyze the outcome from the past experience, the outcome that met school standard and the outcome that did not met the school standard in order to get a better outcome in the future. 3) According to the characteristic of Foresight Leadership which the principle possessed, principle designing the plan to implement Character Education Program “Jabar Masagi”, any programs that related to Character Education “Jabar Masagi” were implemented by habituating the students, tutoring or counseling, and also by giving them some set of an example

Abstract

This research was titled "School principal's leadership strategy in developing a special job market (BKK) descriptive study at SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi". This study aims to determine the principal's leadership strategy in developing BKK. This study uses a descriptive method of qualitative approach. The data collection technique used is interviews and documentation studies. In carrying out the duties and functions of the BKK SMK Negeri 2 Cimahi refers to the decision of the Director General of Development and Placement of Domestic Workers Number: Kep-131 / DPPTKDN / XI / 2004 concerning Technical Guidelines for Special Peterinary Exchange. In carrying out his duties of the principal referring to the function of the Goldlim (Educator, Manager, Administrator, Supervisor, Leader, Innovator, Motivator) plus the Leader of Entrepreneur. The role of edification of leadership through the Educator function, namely facilitating the BKK coordinator to attend the technical guidance of BKK management and attending a meeting between BKK Chairperson, in addition to making a cooperation MoU with the company, coordinating with the Cimahi City Manpower Office and Ministry In the implementation there are several obstacles, including the lack of staff in BKK, policies that are not in one direction, parental permission, there are still graduates who are not ready to work, the existence of companies that want to recruit do not match the majors, the limitations of the school in accessing employment information, and age The recommendations for schools, especially to develop BKK, namely schools need to re-analyt the need for employees, especially for BKK staff, the school needs to convince students' parents that the Vocational School aims to create individuals who are ready to plunge into the business world / industry and have been equipped with certain competencies. Then the school can create a culture that is similar to the business of the business world / industrial world to improve the readiness of students to work.

Abstract

Salah satu kompetensi pembelajaran matematika yang tercantum dalam Depdiknas adalah menentukan sifat dan unsur berbagai bangun datar dan bangun ruang. Siswa dituntut untuk dapat memenuhi kompetensi tersebut agar dapat memenuhi standar kompetensi lulusan yang telah ditentukan. Namun, dalam kenyataannya siswa-siswi khususnya di SDN 1 Nagrikidul masih memiliki kesulitan dalam mengatasi masalah geometri. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perbaikan pembelajaran matematika, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan spasial siswa kelas 5E SDN 1 Nagrikidul dengan menggunakan pendekatan matematika realistik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan kemampuan spasial siswa setelah diberi perlakuan sebanyak dua siklus. Pada siklus pertama, rata-rata hasil tes kemampuan spasial siswa kelas 5E SDN 1 Nagrikidul sebesar 37,96 dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus kedua menjadi 71,33. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan matematika realistik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan spasial siswa kelas 5E SDN 1 Nagrikidul. Hasil observasi menunjukkan siswa merasa nyaman saat belajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan matematika realistik. Pendekatan matematika realistik dapat menjadi alternatif bagi guru sekolah dasar dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran. Karakter siswa sekolah dasar yang masih berada pada tahapan berpikir konkrit cocok untuk diberikan pendekatan matematika realistik dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is entitled Analysis of Principal Leadership Style in Carrying Out Management Functions in State Senior High School 1 Baleendah. The purpose of this study was to describe the tendency of the principal's leadership style in State High School 1 Baleendah, Bandung Regency. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Sources of data in this study were the principal, vice principal of the curriculum field. deputy principal for student affairs, deputy principal in the field of infrastructure, deputy principal in the field of public relations, teachers, and administrative staff. The data technique used interviews, observation and documentation study. Data were analyzed by reducing data, presenting data and drawing data in narrative form. The results showed that: the leadership style used by the principal of State Senior High School 1 Baleendah tended to use democratic amd participative leadership. 1) The leadership of the principal, including the planning process, tends to use a democratic and visionary leadership style. 2) The organizing process tends to be carried out in a democratic and participative leadership style. 3) The implementation process tends to be carried out with a task-oriented leadership style and human relations that prioritizes cooperative relations and general and personal direction and guidance. 4) The process of supervision tends to be carried out with delegative leadership style by supervising directly and giving trust to subordinates to supervise so as not to continuously supervise by going around the classroom, overseeing the performance of teachers and employees.

Abstract

The development of facilities and infrastructure that is increasingly being carried out in urban  areas and the rapid growth of population causes limited green open space. Green open space itself has many benefits if its existence is cared for and managed well. Green open spaces are also being intensely procured in cities, provinces and schools. It is known that if a green open space is provided at school it can be one of the learning resources that can optimize learning achievement. Because unwittingly green open space which contains a place to grow plants with a green color that can reduce boredom when students feel monotonous learning activities. So it is hoped that the opening of green open land in schools as a source of learning can increase student motivation and can improve student’s critical thinking processes about everyday phenomena.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba meneliti apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambatan efektivitas implementasi rencana strategis (RKJM) serta solusi yang digunakan oleh sekolah dalam menganotasi hambatan tersebut. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan perbaikan pelaksanaan RKJM yang lebih efektif dan memadai.

Abstract

Research is called “The Influence of Principal Instructional Leadership to the Teaching Performance of Vocational Secondary School Teacher at Bojongloa Kidul Bandung City.”This research using two variable, x variable is Principal Instructional Leadership and y variable is Teaching Performance. The study is done in 6 Vocational Secondary schools at Bojongloa Kidul Bandung with respondents research the school teacher in each school. In general the purpose of this research was to give how much influence of Principal Instructional Leadership to the Teaching Performance of Vocational Secondary School Teacher at Bojongloa Kidul Bandung City. The study is done by using the method descriptive and approach quantitative supported to the study literature. Technique data collection using a questionnaire, who became population is a teacher of vocational secondary school at Bojongloa Kidul Bandung City with a sample of 70 respondents. Analysis thinks in this study use some help program Microsoft Excel 2007 and application spss 21.0 for windows. The calculation on Weight Means Score (WMS), shows that Principal Instructional Leadership Vocational Secondary School Teacher at Bojongloa Kidul Bandung City be in the very high with an average all the aspects 4,38. For the performance of teachers to teach are in the high with an average all the aspects 4,31. Based on the calculation t test obtained thitung = 20.58 ttabel = 1.668 means that there is a very significant influence between Instructional Leadership Principal Teacher Teaching Performance Against SMK Bojongloa District of Bandung Kidul, by calculating the coefficient of determination stating their influence between the variables of 84.64%.

Abstract

This study entitled "The Utilization of Learning Facilities by Teachers in Improving the Quality of Learning in SMA Negeri 3 Kota Serang" . In the learning process, facilities and infrastructure are indispensable for schools to support the success of learning activities. The availability and utilization of relevant facilities and infrastructure is needed so that all educational activities in schools can be achieved effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of learning facilities and describe the use of existing learning facilities in SMA Negeri 3 Kota Serang. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a pende type descriptive words. The subjects in this study were the deputy head of facilities and infrastructure, teachers and students. The data obtained in the field were analyzed data to obtain research findings. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Test data validity with data credibility and confirmability. The results of this research and discussion indicate that: the learning facilities at SMA Negeri 3 Kota Serang are good enough according to existing standards. However, there are a number of facilities that are still not up to standard. Meanwhile, the use of learning facilities by teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Kota Serang has not been optimal. Most of the teachers have not used learning tools and media during the process of teaching and learning activities and some are still in the level of trying to use them. Pe Utilization means the learning process remains to be improved, as improving the quality of learning on an ongoing basis to meet the realities and expectations for the customer.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Contribution of Supervisors Academic Supervision Competence to Learning Quality in State Senior High Schools of Cimahi City". The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the contribution of supervisors' academic supervision competencies to the quality of learning in Cimahi City State Senior High Schools. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The sample of this study was 79 high school teachers from a total population of 365 teachers in the Cimahi City public high school environment. Based on the results of data processing calculated using WMS, it shows that the general trend for Academic Supervision Competence and Learning Quality is in the very good category. The Academic Supervision Competency variable got a score of 3.45 and the Learning Quality variable got a score of 3.35. The results of the data analysis show a positive and significant contribution from the Academic Supervision Competence to the Quality of Learning. The results of the determination analysis show that the influence of academic supervision competence is 34%, the remaining 42% is influenced by other factors such as organizational culture, leadership, communication, etc. It can be concluded that the research hypothesis has proven that there is a positive and significant contribution of the Academic Supervision Competence to the Quality of Learning in SMA Negeri Cimahi City.
