The Journal of Logistics and Supply Chain promotes research in the broad field of Logistics and Supply Chain with particular respect to Indonesia, but not limited to authorship or topical coverage within the region. Contributions are expected from senior researchers, project managers, research administrators and PhD students at advanced stages of their research, representing both public organizations and private industry. Equally, the journal if intended for scholars and students, reseachers working at research organizations and government agencies, and also for enterprises undertaking applied Research and Development to lead innovations. The editorial contents and elements that comprise the journal include: Theoretical articles Empirical studies Practice-oriented papers Case studies Review of papers, books, and resources. As far as the criteria for evaluating and accepting submissions is concerned, a rigorous review process will be used. Submitted papers will, prior to the formal review, be screened so as to ensure their suitability and adequacy to the journal. In addition, an initial quality control will be performed, so as to ensure matters such as language, style of references and others, comply with the journals style. The below mentioned areas are just indicative. The editorial board also welcomes innovative articles that redefine any Logistics and Supply Chain field. Abstract

Transportation is still a problem in every region in Indonesia, including in Aceh Province. As the node of sea transportation, ports have an increasingly large role in economic development in line with the increasing importance of ports in logistical activities. This study aims to examine logistics transportation based on the movement of agricultural commodities in Aceh Province. The research method uses descriptive quantitative methods with a secondary data analysis approach. The data used in this study are data of the movement of goods and data on agricultural products in Aceh Province. The data analysis approach used linear regression and was validated through the coefficient of determination and correlation test as well as the t-test and ANOVA test. Based on the results of analysis and statistical validation, it can be seen that agricultural products have a positive and significant linear relationship with the generation of movement of goods in Aceh Province.

Abstract

An unwell-prepared graduate from logistic education is being a key issue which has been being discussed by government, practitioners, education institutions and economic units as well as who will get benefits of this education by the possibility of obtaining a competent graduate. Warehouse laboratory is the solution for fulfilling the gap where competencies could be developed which is required by industry. This paper aims to explain the process of implementation and utilization of warehouse laboratory at the higher education Introduction. Hence, warehouse laboratory has a pivotal role in the development logistics education that is not only for education and research but also for preparing graduate students to be a competent workforce which is required by industry.

Abstract

Food needs are the primary needs needed by all people in the world. Commodity food needs of fruits are needed by considering their quality. During the current Covid-19 pandemic, the demand for food delivery needs has greatly increased. The problem arises when the quality of the fruit is not suitable, it is damaged during delivery. This article aims to capture the quality of the fruit and how to minimize the damage in shipping. The method used in this study is a literature review using the source of scientific articles published in the last 10 years (2011-2021). The results of this study indicate that temperature, storage are the main factors in fruit delivery. In addition, in minimizing damage to fresh fruit in shipping, the use of a GPS-based temperature sensor is very good in maintaining the temperature during delivery as well as accurate information in real-time.

Abstract

This literature review article focuses on an in-depth analysis of the Influence of Blockchain Technology Integrated with IoT in Healthcare Supply Chain. The purpose of this scholarly article is to formulate a strong hypothesis on how the advancement of blockchain technology affects the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chains in the healthcare sector. In order to achieve this goal, the research applied a meticulous desk research method, collecting references from various reliable online sources such as Google Scholar, IEEE, and other academic online media. The results outline the significant impact that the integration of blockchain technology and IoT can have in the context of the healthcare sector. The discussion in this article addresses how blockchain technology connected with the Internet of Things (IoT) can provide concrete benefits in optimizing the healthcare supply chain. The practical implications of the integration of these technologies are revealed in the form of improved operational efficiency, information transparency, more accurate product tracking, and reduced risk of human error.

Abstract

The lack of awareness of companies to choose quality suppliers often leads to changing suppliers. In addition, another thing that contributes to the change of suppliers is the lack of awareness of the company to manage good relationships with suppliers. The impact of changing suppliers is that there are changes in the goods or services offered to customers, such as quality, specifications, and others. Furthermore, this will affect customer satisfaction and if the quality decreases, it can result in losses for the company. The purpose of this article is to determine the urgency of supplier quality and supplier relationship quality. The method used in data collection is Literature Review (LR). Supplier quality and supplier relationship quality play an important role in the supply chain. Then one of the important factors that must be developed to improve the quality of the relationship is the communication factor.
