Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the Communication Strategy of the General Elections Commission (KPU), to analyze the factors that influence public participation and to identify the barriers to increasing public participation. The researcher used a qualitative research approach, with data collection procedures using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model data analysis technique which is carried out interactively and also takes place continuously including: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The results of this study are the strategies used by the Nganjuk KPU in increasing community participation by conducting face-to-face activities directly, carrying out activities that attract public attention, providing information through various media, using democratic volunteers to invite various segments of society. Factors that influence the increase in community participation are public awareness of elections, voter socialization and education, the role of election participants and finally the role of local governments and stakeholders. Then the obstacles to improving the community are administrative constraints, time, lack of human resources in the internet segment, election day elections, lack of coordination between KPU officers and KPPS.

Abstract

Abstract: The research method in this study using qualitative research approach with descriptive analysis. Data collection using interview and documentation. Data analysis technique using Ronald D. Smith’s theory that’s strategic planning for public relations with four stages of branding awareness: formative research, strategy, tactics, and evaluative research. The result of the study is (1) PT. Natural Nusantara is a company that using multi level marketing business system. NASA’s strategy to introducing his products to consumers throught to seminars and training for the members about new product that has been launched. Market analysis, planning and and strategy, tactic of communication also evaluation from the event arranged by the company. (2) A supporting factor in building NASA's brand awareness is the presence of technicians or consultants from each field in the product category who are really qualified, and the obstacle factor is the information system and NASA’s business system can’t entering to the digital platform specifically marketplace because it is prohibited by the Ministry of Trade.

Abstract

Abstract: The advantages of social media make it a popular medium to use. Jurnal 12 is a YouTube channel engaged in journalism. Carrying the topic of Indonesia's achievements, Jurnal 12 managed to get an audience of up to tens of thousands. The topic of Indonesia's achievements rarely gets attention. This study aims to explain the editorial techniques of Jurnal 12 in writing news and how the editorial staff of Jurnal 12 improves the quality of news. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, using observation, documentation, and interview data collection procedures. The results from this study are:(1) in the October 1-31, 2021 edition, Jurnal 12 does not meet the rules of news writing. Jurnal 12 does not use leads; the use of the 'when' element is not optimal in formulating news. Jurnal 12 uses an inverted pyramid structure and always uses quotes. (2) to improve the quality of news, Jurnal 12 focuses on increasing the important elements: characters, conflicts, accuracy, and actuality.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out how one of the reports made by the online media Tempo and Kompas in framing news about the postponement of the 2024 election through the framing analysis approach of the Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki model. The method used is descriptive-interpretative research. Researchers interpret news about the issue of delaying the 2024 presidential election by taking news samples from the online media Tempo and Kompas which were published on April 10 and 12, 2022. The results of this study are 1) News carried out by Tempo tend to be neutral and as it is, in contrast to Kompas which include opinions from political communication experts 2) both news stories have used inverted pyramid systematics. It can be seen from the leads in both news. The difference is that Tempo media reports tend to be short but dense, while Kompas is quite long because it adds news content by including opinions from political communication experts.

Abstract

Abstract: In the era of advanced technology today, there are many ways to preach. One way used when today is forming a migration community. Hijrah Community @ngajiasik.id. This community carries the concept of young people, with a student who is cool and principled that the recitation is fun. Strategies can be interpreted as a method of gathering information and organizing, so that it can estimate a hypothesis. The method used for this study is a qualitative research method, using observation methods and interviews as a method of data collection in this study. The Hijrah @ ngajiasik.id community plays a role in moving the community to provide a means of improving the quality of public faith and spreading Islamic da'wah widely. The strategy used in preaching is to use a contemporary da'wah strategy. The strategy used in the dissemination of da'wah is the determination of the objectives of the da'wah, preparation of the implementation of the strategy, the preparation of plans, and the process of implementing the strategy.

Abstract

Tik Tok has become one of the social media that is widely used by the community, and is used by some  da'is in delivering their da'wah. Ustadz Syamsuddin Nur Makka became one of the preachers who used Tik Tok as a medium for da'wah. This study aims to analyze the da'wah strategy used by the Sham ustad in delivering da'wah through Tik Tok and to determine the effectiveness of the Sham ustad da'wah through Tik Tok media to the community. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation. The results showed that the da'wah strategy used by the Sham ustadz was da'wah bil oral, dakwah bil qalam, and dakwah bil hal. The @syam_elmarusy account brings content with slang and is easy to understand by the audience, brings interesting themes, and interspersed with humor and modern dressing styles like the younger generation today has succeeded in attracting viewers to continue watching @syam_elmarusy account content. Factors that prove the effectiveness of da'wah on @syam_elmarusy account are: first, can be seen from the high viewers on @syam_elmarusy account, this shows that the da'wah delivered by the Sham ustadz attracts the interest of the public.  Second, the large number of comments on @syam_elmarusy account can also prove, if there is feedback from mad'u on the da'wah process carried out by the ustadz Sham.

Abstract

Youtube is one of the social media used in delivering da'wah messages. There are many content creators with various shows, one of which is Islamic children's animation which contains many messages in it. This study discusses the meaning of da'wah messages on Little Giantz Youtube in one of its episodes, namely Half a Date Seed. The meaning of the da'wah message contained in it is seen from the symbolic interactions that occur and the signs that are created in every existing scene and can be interpreted with one of the theories, namely semiotic analysis. The da'wah messages contained are various, including through actions, hadiths and sayings. The meaning of da'wah messages includes moral messages for children, messages in the form of obeying parents' advice, and also moral messages to take social action to fellow human beings.

Abstract

This research reviewed the analysis of da'wah messages on content on a Tiktok account. Where in this modern phenomenon the practice of preaching can be done anywhere, including on social media platforms. In this era of modernization, the existence of da'wah practices must be increasingly improved. The enforcement of religious teachings must still exist and be broadcast. However, in order to get attention and be able to attract mad'u to be able to listen to da'wah, various strategies must be used to keep up with the times. Digital da'wah through social media has become the most effective strategy for seeking mad'u from various circles. One of the most popular social media is TikTok. It is a social media platform that can share videos, making many da’is use it as a medium for preaching. Zahid Samosir with the account name TikTok @zahidsamosir utilizes the TikTok platform as a media for da'wah creativity that is packaged through content so that Zahid now has many followers and fans and has a large number of views on each of his content. Through his TikTok platform, Zahid broadcasts da'wah messages through short video content in a millennial and easy-to-understand language style.

Abstract

Fashion Style is a form of nonverbal communication. The clothes a person wears can interpret themselves as well as show personality characteristics. The purpose of this study is to explain the purpose of using ustadzah Fashion Style at Al-Iman Putri Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School, and analyze the meaning of Fashion Style used by ustadzah as a means of Nonverbal Communication at Al-Iman Putri Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School.    The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Research data was collected by conducting interviews with informants, namely ustadzah Pondok Pesantren Al-Iman Putri who had qualifications as ustadzah who looked attractive and followed fashion trends.  The results showed that the use of fashion to communicate nonverbally about his identity. Everyone tries to show their best side and unique side of themselves through the fashion they wear. Ustadzah Pondok Pesantren Al-Iman Putri uses fashion style with the goal: easier to identify, convey a form of self-expression, and the purpose of beauty. Nonverbal Communication through fashion style ustadzah Pondok Pesantren Al-Iman Putri Ponorogo is considered effective because it produces communication results. And from the fashion style displayed, they try to convey their identity, character, class and group.

Abstract

Darul Huda Mayak Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School applies regulations in limiting the use of communication technology for students. To overcome students who lack updated information, Darul Huda uses the student press agency as a provider of information  about cottage activities, and dissemination of information outside the cottage. The purpose of this study is to see  the role of the Santri Press Institute in providing information and education needs in Ponpes Darul Huda Mayak and analyze how the effect of the Santri Press Institute as a medium of information and education.  The research approach used by researchers is Case Studies which is a qualitative descriptive research method.  The result of his research is the role of the Santri Press Institute in providing information in Pondok Mayak through the media of wall magazines and cottage information boards, while educational media through learning journalism courses and can play a role in filtering information news from outside the cottage about things that are appropriate to be disseminated or not. The effect of the Santri Press Institute in using mading media and information boards causes students to know about events outside the cottage, this includes the cognitive effects of the media. Santri also participates in journalism courses, thus making the influence included in affective effects. The existence of journalistic work from the Santri Press Institute is able to make students feel the conative effect that is able to change their attitude into right and good behavior.
