Abstract

Plant production is inseparable from the factor of soil fertility. As a living organism, plants need nutrients to carry out their growth. High soil fertility will make optimal plant growth and production. Soil fertility is directly related to plant growth so that an assessment of soil fertility status is absolutely necessary. Management of rubber plantations is expected to be done efficiently so that the level of soil fertility is known. This study aims to determine the status of soil fertility in the research location in the community rubber plantation in Pancaroba Village, Sungai Ambawang District, Kubu Raya Regency. The study was conducted by survey method and interviews with farmers to get an overview of the research location. The next step is to take soil samples at a depth of 0-30 cm and 30-60 cm in productive and unproductive rubber plantations. Based on observations of soil pH at the research location is classified as acid. C-Organic at the research location is high to very high. Nitrogen (N) levels of total soil at the study site are classified as moderate to very high. Phosphorus (P) levels of soil available at the study site are relatively low. Potassium (K) levels can be exchanged soils at the study sites are relatively low. Ca-dd at the study site was classified as very low while Mg-dd was classified as low. The Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) of Soil at the research location is low to moderate, while the Saturation of Bases is very low and Al Saturation is very high. The texture at the study site is included in the clay texture class. Key word:Nutrient status, Rubber plant, Soiled fertility.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji didalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukan seberapa besar hubungan karakteristik  dan kesejahteraan petani jagung manis di Desa Rasau Jaya Satu.. Salah satu desa yang mempunyai hasil produksi jagung manis yang besar adalah Desa Rasau Jaya Satu dimana sebagian besar masyarakatnya melakukan usahatani jagung manis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, sampel menggunakan Rumus Slovin, dan penelitian dianalisis dengan sampel ordinal menggunakan analisis Korelasi Rank Spearman, sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan survei yaitu penelitian yang mengambil sampel dari populasi dan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data primer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara siginifikan karakteristik petani seperti usia, pengalaman bertani dan luas lahan berkorelasi atau berhubungan dengan kesejahteraan petani jagung manis di Desa Rasau Jaya Satu, sedangkan untuk tingkat pendidikan tidak berkorelasi dengan kesejahteraan petani jagung manis di Desa Rasau Jaya Satu.

Abstract

as agricultural land for the oil palm plantation sector is common so palm plantation  in west kalimantan are spread in several districts ,one of them is Tayan hilir Regency.            This Study aims to provide information to farmers about the characteristics and chemical and nutrient properties palm soil plantation in ultisol soil.            This research carried out in the palm plantation area in the sejotang Tayan Hilir District, Sanggau  Regency. The Analysis at the Laboratory of Chemistry and Soil Fertility, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tanjungpura Pontianak. The research take 3 months, Starting from 16 April 2019  preparation to presentation of results.            Based on the results of the study, the soil reaction (pH) in the study site was classified as very  acidic. Textures in the study locations use code K (composite) that is K2, K3, K5 are clay texture class, K1 belongs to class of dusty clay texture and K4 is clay texture class. The Bulk density ranged from 1.06 to 1.55 gr / cm3. N-Total and C-Organic are classified as low to moderate, phosphorus and Potassium are very low to low, Ca, Mg and base saturation (KB) are very low, CEC is low and saturation of Al are very high. The level of soil fertility at the study site ask low.Keywords: Chemical Properties, Ultisols, Palm Oil.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the best concentration liquid organic fertilizer on shrimp waste on peanut on peat soil. The research was conducted from 13 april to 13 july 2019 in Jl. Perdana, Gg. Mufakat 1. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method in which the application of organic fertilizer as a single factor. The treament were designed in five level of  concentration and 5 treatments with 5 replications and each replication consisted of 4 sample plants. The treatment in question is k1 = 20 ml/ liter of water, k2 = 40 ml/ liter of water, k3 = 60 ml/ liter of water, k4 = 80 ml/ liter of water and k5 = 100 ml/ liter of water. The observed variables in this study are plant height (cm), root volume (cm3), the dry weight of the plant (g), wet stover weight on top of plant (g), wet stover weight on bottom of plant (g), the number of pods per plant, the dry weight of pods per plant (g) and dry weight of kernel per plant (g). The results showed that the using of liquid organic fertilizer on shrimp waste with dose 60 ml/liter can improve to growth and yield of peanut on peat soil. Key word : peat soil, liquid organic fertilizer, peanut, shrimp waste.

Abstract

The goal of this research was to find out of the best formulation of sweet corn and sweet potato on physicochemical characterized and sensory properties in vegetable milk. This research used randomized block design (RBD) of one factor, namely the proportion of sweet corn (g) and sweet potato(g), consist of 6 levels are (100 : 0, 90 : 10, 80 : 20, 70 : 30, 60 : 40, 50 : 50) with 5 replications. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA 5%, with further testing using BNJ test with a level of 5%. The best treatment using the Effectiveness Indexs Test. The results showed that 50 g sweet corn : 50 g sweet potato is the best formulation basev on physicochemical and sensory characterized. The physicochemical of vegetable milk were protein content (0,31 %), viscosity (3,37 cP), Vitamin C (22,66 mg/100g), Total Soluble Solid (11,53 °Brix), and pH (6,80). The best sensory characteristics were the flavor of (3,50), the color of (3,67), aroma of (3,20), and preference 0f (3,47). Keywords : sweet corn, sweet potato, vegetable milk

Abstract

One of methods to gallic acid plant productionbytannin fermentation using Aspergillus microbes. The purposeof this research were to obtain gallic acid and glutamic acid from san-sangk (Albertisia papuana Becc.) leaves fermentation using Aspergillus niger FNCC 6018. Research design used factorial block randomized between temperature (25; 30; 45°C) and pH (5; 5.5; 6). The data such as total of tannin (TT) was measuring as a tannic acid while gallic acid was measured from total of phenolic (TF) and glutamic acidwas measured from total of free amino acid (TAAB). Data was analyzed byAnova (α= 5%).The result showed that there were not significantly between temperature and pH to TT, TF and TAAB.The treatmen with lower of total tannin 0.579 mg/100 g and higher of total phenolic 0.224 mg GAE/g is combination between temperature of 30oC and pH of 5.5 for 48 hours. The present work showed that tannin hydrolysis efficiency of Albertisia papuana using this method was 41.7%.

Abstract

The agricultural sector in Indonesia is very important in development that is as a source of life and income of farmers in the family. Therefore, efforts to increase production and increase in farmers income need to be developed continuously. This research is aimed to analyze the working hours of women farmers work time and aimed to analyze socio-economic factors that influence the working hours of women farmers work time in paddy rice farming in  the villiage of Kuala two, Sungai Raya subdistrict Kubu Raya Regency. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling method. The sample used in this study amounted to 61 female farmers. This study was processed using the SPSS program and then analyzed using multiple linear regression methods. The results showed that age, number of dependents, land area, family income and experience significantly affected women’s work time in Kuala II village, while the education level did not significantly affect women’s work time in Kuala II village.Keyword: Multiplie linear regression, The working hours of women farmers

Abstract

This research was done to evaluate yield potential of five F14 genotypes of maize in peat soil. This research was done in Rasau Jaya II peat soil since January until June 2018. The experiment used Randomized Block Design (RBD), consisted of five F14 genotypes that is B, C, D, E, F and one control variety, Arjuna (A). Each treatments were grouped into five block. The results showed that the yield of five F14 genotypes was relatively the same as the control variety. Genotypes showing good yield on Rasau Jaya II peat soil are genotypes F, B and C.

Abstract

Keling Kumang Credit Union Cooperative is a savings and loan financial institution for the community in Piawas Village. This study aims to analyze the decision-making factors of farmers using (CU) as a source of farming finance. Data were analyzed using logit regression method. The results of this study indicate that total income, family expenses and the number of dependents do not have a significant partial effect on decisions. Abstract

Soybean is the third crops that have hight value of economy after rice and corn that very potential for cultivated. Crab shell ash have  importeant ruke of solving peat soils pH. This research aimed to know the best dose of crab shell ash for the grow and yield of soybean on peat soil. This research was conducted at the research feld of Agricaltural Faculty Tanjungpura University Pontianak from April 02 nd to June 30th 2019. The metod used in this research was Complete Random Design (CRD) consisted of 5 levels  of crab shell ash with 5 replications respectively and 4 sample plant. The levels of crab shell ash were (k1) 350, (k2) 437, (k3) 525, (k4) 612 and     (k5)700 grams/polybag consecutively. The observed variables were the plant height, root volume, plant dry weight, grains weight per plant, and 100 grains dry weight. The resuts showed that the levels of crab shell ash had no significant effects to the growth and yield of soybean on peat soil. The most effective levels of crab shell ash was 350 grams/polybag that was equal to 20 tons/ha. Keywords: crab sheel ash, peat, soyabean.
