Abstract

This research aims to find the best substitution of wheat flour with steamed purple sweet potato in the making of bingke cake and to obtain purple bingke composition that is most liked by consumers. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) of one factor, that was the ratio of formulation between wheat flour and steamed purple sweet potato repeated 4 times with 6 levels. The observed parameters were water content, total dissolved solids (TDS), protein content, and sensory. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA with 5% significance, with further testing using Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) with a level of 5%. The results showed that bingke with 50g of purple sweet potato and 0g of wheat flour, with water content of 46,91%, total dissolved solids of 18,18°brix, protein content of 5,27%. The sensory characteristics of purple sweet potato were color 3,87 (quite like to like), texture 3,87 (quite like to like), sweetness 3,97 (quite like to like), with the level of pleasure 4.17 (like to really like). Keywords : cake, flour, substitution, purple sweet potato.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Mud crab (Scylla paramamosain.) is a commodity that has the potential of high economic value. This study aims to estimate the stock crab (S. paramamosain) based on the width frequency distribution of the carapace, carapace width relationship with weight, growth, mortality and the rate of exploitation of crab. Data analysis was donemanually and used FISAT II Ver 1.2.2 in 2005 issued by FAO-ICLARM. This research was carried out between September and December 2018. The data collected in this research consist in the number of catches’ measurement of carapace width, weight and sex for mangrove crabs (S. paramamosain). Crab samples obtained amounted to 306 birds. The results of this study is the frequency of the highest crab in width from 109,5 to 114, 5 (mm). Wide and heavy relationship crab showed isometric growth pattern (b= 2,86). By Von Bertalanffy growth parameters are Lt= 177 (1-e  -0,37 (t + 0,56264)). Total mortality (Z) 0,605, natural mortality (M) 0,466 and fishing mortality (F) 0,139. The rate of exploitation (E) S. paramamosain are 0,229 so that said utilization is still below the optimal (under-exploited). Keywords: Exploitation, Growth, Mortality

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to observe concentration of the best POC mackerel fish waste for growth and yield of peanut plant on peat soil. The reseach was carried from 16 September 2018 to 9 Desember 2018 at the experimental of Faculty of Agriculture Univercity of Tanjungpura. This study used a Completely Rendomized Design of 5 treatments with 4 replication each and replication consists of 4 samples. The treatment consisted of 10ml/L water; 20ml/L water; 30ml/L water; 40ml/L water; 50ml/L air. The observed variables this study include high plant, dry weight plant (cm), wet weight pods (g), number pods (g), amount seed contens, number empty seeds and seed dry weight (g). Result based of the research on conducted, concentrations of POC mackerel fish waste effectively domonstrated by peanut plant with a cpncentration of 10 ml/L water. Keywords : mackerel fish waste POC, peat soil, , peanut

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas fisik dan kandungan nutrisi pelet lumpur sawit kering dan daun pakis merah untuk pakan kelinci. Variabel yang diamati adalah kualitas fisik yaitu berat jenis bahan pakan pelet, kerapatan bahan, kerapatan pemadatan tumpukan dan kerapatan pelet serts uji kualitas kimiawi pelet yaitu kandungan protein kasar, lemak kasar, serak kasar dan energi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan lumpur sawit kering dan daun pakis merah berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat jenis bahan pakan dengan nilai 0,52g/cm3-0,77g/cm3, kerapatan bahan 0,18g/cm3-0,21g/cm3, kerapatan pemadatan tumpukan 0,20g/cm3-0,24g/cm3, protein kasar 10,54% -13,55% lemak kasar 3,88% -6,15% dan serat kasar 5,80%-7,86%. Penggunaan lumpur sawit kering dan daun pakis merah berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap kerapatan pelet dengan nilai 0,85g/cm3-1,01g/cm3 dan energi 369,80 kalori - 376,95 kalori. Berdasarkan hasil uji kimiawi, penggunaan lumpur sawit kering dan daun pakis merah menjadi pelet dapat diberikan pada kelinci dewasa.  Kata kunci :  Daun pakis merah, kimiawi pelet, kualitas fisik pelet dan lumpur sawit kering.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the best dose of quail manure to increase growth and yield of squash on alluvial soil. This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Tanjungpura University Faculty of Agriculture, Ahmad Yani Street starting in December 2017 until March 2018. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of six treatments, four replications and three sample plants. The treatment given was k1 = 150g / polybag, k2 = 300g / polybag, k3 = 450g / polybag, k4 = 600g / polybag, k5 = 750g / polybag, and k6 = 900g / polybag. Variable effects in this study were the amount of leaf chlorophyll, root volume, plant dry weight, fruit weight, fruit length, frit diameter  and number of fruit plant. The reslt of the study showed that luffa plants give a different response towards giving quail manure fertilizer to the variables amount of leaf chlorophyll, root volume, plant dry weight and give a different response to frui weight, fruit length, fruit diameter and number of fruit crops on variable amounts of leaf chlorophyll, root volume, plant dry weight, fruit length and number of fruit diameter,  and gave different responses to fruit weight, fruit length and number of fruit plantations. The results showed that 750 g quail manure diosage gave the highest average for growth and yield compared to other doses.Keywods: alluvial, quail manure, squash.

Abstract

This study aims to examine at the growth and yield of genotypes corn F14 on peat soil. This research was carried out in peat soil area in Rasau Jaya II from 24 January  2 June 2018. The study used a randomized complate block design (RCBD) consisting of five F14 genotypes ( B, C, D, E and F) maize as a treatment and one comperative variety which is Arjuna variety (A), each treatment is made into five groups and six replications. The results showed that F14 genotypes that had good growth were genotypes A, B, C and genotypes that had good results were genotypes D and E.Keywords : growth, maize, peat, results

Abstract

This study aims to analyze what factors influence the purchasing decisions of consumers of srikaya Suka Hati in Pontianak. The population in this study are all consumers who buy the product. Sampling is taken using the method Convenience /Accidental Sampling, with a total sample of 100 respondents. This study used survey method with factor analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are nine new factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions on the products of  srikaya Suka Hati namely product, distribution, motivation, social, perception, promotion, price, personal, and lifestyle. Keywords: Factor analysis, purchasing decision, srikaya Suka Hati.

Abstract

Pineapple is one of fruit that has a specific flavor and usually consumed fresh. It also has a short shelf-life, therefore it is necessary to be diversified. Generally, cookies are made from low protein flour so that it can be formulated with other ingredients.The ingredients added are pineapple flesh puree and pineapple pith puree which has high content of fiber and beneficial for helping the digestive process. This study aimed to determine the comparison between cookies formulations which made from different levels of pineapple components puree, namely flesh and pith based on physicochemical and sensory characteristics.This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with one treatment factor, which was a comparison between flesh and pith pineapple puree consists of 6 levels.The results showed that the best cookie formulation was at 75 % puree of flesh and 25 % puree of pineapple pith with moisture content at 2.42 %, ash content at 0.99 %, crude fiber 2.54 %, texture at 0.13 %, protein content 7.1 %, fat content 35.41 %, and carbohydrate 54.56 %.The best characteristic cookies based on sensory were hardness 3.93 (quite crunchy), flavor 2.60 (less acidic), aroma 2.77 (lack of fruit aroma), color of 3.43 (quite yellow), and preference of 3.70 (quite like it).The formulation of flesh puree and pineapple pith puree that the panelists like, does not affect the overall preference for the cookies produced. keyword : pineapple, cookies, fiber, puree, formulation

Abstract

ABSTRAK                    Gaya hidup sehat adalah membuat hidup yang baik dalam menciptakan kehidupan yang sehat. Gaya hidup sehat herbalife dapat memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi, mineral, karbohidrat, protein yang dibutuhkan oleh tubuh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor gaya hidup (aktivitas, minat, opini, dan demografi) yang mempengaruhi konsumen dalam proses keputusan pembelian produk minuman herbalife di Kota Pontianak. Sampel dipilih secara accidental sampling dengan jumlah sampel 150 responden dan menggunakan analisis konjoin. Penelitian menunjukan faktor gaya hidup terbukti mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian produk minuman herbalife. Bagian dari faktor gaya hidup yang mempengaruhi proses keputusan pembelian adalah olahraga, kerja, acara sosial, hobi, keluarga, prestasi, manfaat, pendidikan dan usia.Kata Kunci: Herbalife, Gaya Hidup, Keputusan Pembelian, Analisis Konjoin.

Abstract

The stationary lift net is a fishing device consisting of a rectangular nibung bamboo arrangement which is fixed with fixed construction so that it stands firmly on the water and in the middle of the building a net is installed which serves as a tool to catch fish, operated by being lifted. Hauling time is the time the net is drawn. This study aims to determine the differences in the hauling time of the stationary lift net  with the catch and determine the optimal hauling time on the stationary lift net. This research  conducted on 12 August - 2 September 2018 in the Pelapis Village of Karimata Islands District, Kayong Utara. The research method used  a completely randomized design with one factor, namely the hauling time stepping device. The time of hauling (W) way divided into three levels, namely 17.00-20.00 WIB (w1), 20.00-00.00 WIB (w2) and 00.00-04.00 WIB (w3). Sampling was condycted done by using 9 units of stationary lift net as replications. by test has 4 weeks of data collection and done once a week. Observation variables include: the weight of anchovy and the weight of tamban fish. The results showed that there were no variables that significantly affected the catch of the stationary lift net. Keywords : Stationary Lift net Catch Fish, The water of the Pelapis Village, Hauling time.
