Abstract

ABSTRAKAzotobacter merupakan bakteri yang berperan dalam penyediaan Nitrogen pada tanah karena bakteri tipe ini mampu menambat Nitrat dengan mengoksidasi ion ammonium pada tanah sehingga dapat terikat dengan kuat pada komponen-komponen humus yang menyebabkan Nitrat tidak mudah terbilas keluar tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bakteri Azotobacter di beberapa penggunaan lahan diantaranya lidah buaya, pepaya, sawi, kelapa sawit, nanas dan hutan sekunder pada lahan gambut. Penelitian ini dimulai pada bulan Agustus sampai November 2018 dengan lokasi pengambilan sampel tanah bertempat di Sungai Selamat, kelurahan Siantan Hilir, Kecamatan Pontianak Utara dan inokulasi bakteri Azotobacter di Laboratorium Bioteknologi dan Biologi Tanah serta Analisis kimia tanah bertempat di Laboratorium Kimia dan Kesuburan Tanah dan untuk analisis Fisika tanah bertempat di Laboratorium Fisika dan Konservasi tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tanjungpura. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis keragaman klasifikasi satu arah (One Way Anova) dengan rancangan acak lengkap yaitu 6 penggunaan lahan (lidah buaya, pepaya, sawi, kelapa sawit, nanas dan hutan sekunder). Variabel pengamatan terdiri dari parameter utama (jumlah bakteri Azotobacter) dan analisis tanah ( pH, C-organik, kadar abu, N-total, rasio C/N, bahan organik, kematangan tanah, kadar air tanah dan bobot isi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil jumlah populasi bakteri Azotobacter berpengaruh tidak nyata. Hasil Azotobacter terbanyak pada lahan lidah buaya yaitu 4,21055 x 106CFU/ml tanah dan yang paling sedikit pada hutan sekunder yaitu 2,07767 x 106CFU/ml tanah. Pada penggunaan lahan Sawi jumlah bakteri Azotobacter yang ditemukan sebanyak 2,90010 x 106CFU/ml tanah, kelapa sawit ditemukan sebanyak 2,23322 x 106CFU/ml tanah dan pada lahan pepaya ditemukan sebanyak 2,73272 x 106CFU/ml tanah.  Kata Kunci: Azotobacter,bakteri tanah, Gambut, Nitrogen,

Abstract

This study aims to determine the morphometry of the Goat Goat which is maintained intensively in Rasau Jaya III Village, Rasau Jaya District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The variables observed were chest circumference, chest width, chest depth, shoulder height, hip height, body length and body weight. The results showed that adult male breast circumference was 74.53 ± 6.99 cm and adult female was 72.36 ± 6.43 cm. adult male chest width 20.93 ± 4.54 cm and adult female 19.71 ± 6.94 cm, in adult male chest 30.73 ± 3.67 cm and adult female 28.93 ± 6.17 cm, shoulder height adult males 60.47 ± 3.70 cm and adult females 66.43 ± 5.37 cm, adult male hip height 63.33 ± 4.02 cm and adult females 64.79 ± 6.61 cm, adult male body length 67 , 27 ± 5.28 cm and adult female 76.07 ± 6.73 cm, adult male body weight 30.06 ± 4.50 kg and adult female 27.8 ± 10.0 kg. Based on the results of the morphometry research of Kacang Goat in Rasau Jaya III Village is higher than the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture, 2012. Keywords: Goat Nut, chest circumference, chest width, chest height, shoulder height, hip height, body length and body weight

Abstract

This research aims to find out interaction between consentration and frequency of Gandasil leaf fertilizer to Paprika plants. The research was conducted in Experimental Garden of Agriculture Faculty of Tanjungpura University Pontianak with altitude of place 1-2 m on sea surface. This research held on March 03st  up to May 19th 2019. The method of this research is Randomized Completely Design with two treatment factors. The first factor was the concentration (k) of Gandasil leaf fertilizer with 3 levels treatment are k1= 1 g/liter, k2= 2 g/liter, k3= 3 g/liter, and the second factor was the frequency (f) of Gandasil leaf fertilizer with 3 levels treatment are f1= every 5 days, f2= every 10 days, f3= every 15 days, so that obtained 9 treatment combination. Every treatments reapeated as 3 times and consist of 4 sample plants and number of all plants are 108 plants. Observation variable included height of plants, fresh weight of plant, dried weight of plant f. The result of this research showed that the interaction between concentration and frequency of Gandasil leaf fertilizer have been not able to improved production Paprika plants. The interaction between concentration and frequency significantly afffected the heigh of plant  4, and 5 weeks after cultivation, fresh wight of plants,  dried weight of plant. Single factor af concentration significantly affected the height of plant 4 and 5 weeks after cultivation, fresh weight and dried weight of plants. The result of the research showed that interaction between concentration 2 g/liter and frequency every 10 days gave the best result to the height of plants  4, and 5 weeks ater cultivation, fresh wight of plants and dried weight of plants.

Abstract

Karakterisasi Padi Lokal Beras Hitam Selasih di Kecamatan Belitang Hulu Kabupaten Sekadau Ari Kurniawan 1), Tantri Palupi2), Darusalam2),1)Mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian 2)Dosen Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak ABSTRAK Karakteristik padi beras hitam belum teridentifikasi dengan baik sehingga potensi dan peluang pengembangannya sebagai varietas padi lokal unggul belum diketahui. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan informasi data dari karakter morfologi dan agronomi padi lokal beras hitam Selasih. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kecamatan Belitang Hulu, kabupaten Sekadau, mulai tanggal 03 Januari 2019 – 28 Juni 2019. Pengamatan karakterisasi tanaman dilakukan pada tanaman sampel sebanyak 100 tanaman. Setiap lubang tanam dibenamkan benih sebanyak 1 benih setiap lubang tanaman dengan sistem tanam benih langsung dengan jarak tanam 25 x 25 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rerata tinggi bibit berkisar 37,20 cm, Panjang daun rerata 59,06 cm, lebar daun rerata 1,63 cm. Permukaan daun berambut, bentuk sudut daun tegak, sudut daun bendera sedang, warna leher daun hijau muda, warna telinga daun putih tidak berwarna, warna buku daun hijau, warna helai daun hijau tua, dan warna pelepah daun hijau. Rerata panjang lidah daun 1,39 cm, warna lidah daun putih dan bentuk lidah daun 2-cleft. Tinggi tanaman rerata tinggi yaitu 119,05 cm, sudut batang sedang, warna ruas batang kuning emas. Jumlah anakan yang muncul rerata 15 dengan kemampuan beranak sedang. Keluarnya malai  rerata seluruh malai keluar, panjang malai rerata 31,27 cm. Tipe malai antara sedang dan terbuka, poros malai terkulai. Panjang biji rerata 7,40 mm, bentuk biji agak membulat dan lebar biji rerata 2,40 mm. Fertilitas gabah fertile dan berat 100 biji rerata 1,36 g. Rerata umur tanaman 176 hari. Suhu dan kelembaban dengan rerata suhu 290 C dan rerata kelembaban 80%.  Kata Kunci : Karakterisasi, Padi Lokal Beras Hitam.

Abstract

Sambung mini merupakan proses perbanyakan tanaman dengan cara sambung pucuk yang dilakukan lebih awal pada batang bawah yang masih sangat muda. Setiap varietas yang digunakan sebagai batang atas tentunya memiliki sifat, karakteristik dan tanggapan yang berbeda karena perbedaan genetik yang dimiliki antar varietas terhadap keberhasilan penyambungan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari varietas unggul yang terbaik sebagai batang atas terhadap tingkat keberhasilan sambung mini. Penelitian dilaksanakan di rumah pembibitan milik Rumah Kompos Pendidikan Untan (RKPU), Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tanjungpura, Pontianak. Persiapan penelitian dimulai pada Februari 2019 untuk penyediaan batang bawah yang berasal dari biji durian lokal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 April 2019 hingga 5 Juli 2019. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pola Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan, yaitu : v1 = varietas Montong (kontrol), v2 = varietas Sunan, v3 = varietas Raja Mabah, v4 = varietas Aspar dan v5 = varietas Torong. Masing-masing perlakuan diulangsebanyak 5 kali dan setiap ulangan terdapat 4 tanaman sampel. Variabel yang diamati adalah persentase keberhasilan sambungan (%), pertambahan panjang batang atas (cm), diameter batang atas (cm), jumlah tunas (tunas), panjang tunas (cm) dan jumlah daun (helai). Apabila hasil analisis berpengaruh nyata, dilakukan uji lanjut menggunakan uji Dunnett, yaitu uji yang sangat cocok untuk pengujian mutu, salah satunya adalah mutu varietas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas Raja Mabah menghasilkan tingkat keberhasilan sambung mini yang terbaik terhadap persentase keberhasilan sambungan dan diameter batang atas.Kata Kunci : durian, sambung mini, varietas

Abstract

An onion plant is the commodity that must be expanded, intensively in West Borneo, one of the suitable soils be used for planting this plant is alluvial soil. This research is aim to know the best dose of Bio urine on growth and the onion plant yield on alluvial soil. The sample of this research is Completely Randomise Design (RCD). b1 treatment control, b2 treatment: Bio urine 50 ml + 950 ml water = 1 L, b3 treatment: Bio urine 100 ml + 900 ml water = 1 L, b4 treatment: Bio urine 150 ml + 850 ml water = 1 L, b5 treatment: Bio urine 200 ml + 800 ml water = 1 L, b6 treatment: Bio urine 250 ml + 750 ml water = 1 L. So that can be achieved 6 treatments, 4 repetitions and 3 observation samples. There are some of observation variable on this research are the plant stature(cm), leaves(sheet), sprouts,  tubers per clump(tubers), root, volumes(ml)and dried weigh tubers(g). The result of this research show that the bio urine treatment evidently influenced on plant stature 2 weeks after planted, abstract influent on all observation variables.Keywords :Onion, Bio urine, Alluvial Soil

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the combination of NPK and fertilizar duck manure on the growth and yield of sorghum in peat soil. The research was conducted at sepakat II street, Mapar aley, South east Pontianak sub-district. Starting from December until march, 2019. The study design (CRD) used a completely randomized design with 6 treatments which were repeated 4 times. The treatment is as follows: A = 100% NPK fertilizer is equivalent 400 kg/ha, B = 80% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 320 kg/ha +20% duck manure equivalent to tons/ha, C = 60% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 240 kg/ha +40% duck manure equivalent to 6 ton/ha, D = 40% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 160 kg/ha +60% duck manure equivalent to 9 tons/ha, E = 20% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 80 kg/ha + 80% duck manure equivalent to 12 tons/ha, F = 100% duck manure equivalent to 15 tons/ha. The variables that observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root volume, weight of plant dry, weight of 1,000 seeds, seed weight per panicle. The results showed that the distributing of a combination of NPK fertilizer and duck manure to the growth and yield of sorghum in peat soil had increased root volume and plant height aged 3,5 MST. In general the combination of NPK and fertilizar duck manure influence the growth and yield of sorghum in peat soil. Keywords: duck manure, NPK, peat and sorghum.

Abstract

The durian peel can be used as bokashi material. This study aims to find the best dosage of durian peel bokashi on the growth and yield of red okra plants in alluvial soil. The study was conducted at Experiment Garden of Agriculture Faculty , Tanjungpura University. The research was started from May 20 to August 2, 2019. This study was used CRD (Completaly Randomized Design) method with 5 treatments, 5 replications and each treatments consists of 4 samples, there were 100 experiment units. The observed data were analyzed statistically by using Analysis of Variant (ANOVA), then continued by honestly significance diffirence (HSD) at 5% level. The result of this study showed that the durian peel bokashi with 270 g/polybag dosage could increased plant height at 5 WAP (Weeks after planting), number of fruit per plant and fruit weight per plant.Keywords: Durian peel bokashi, dosage, red okra, alluvial soil

Abstract

Ultisols has an advanced degree of development, characterized by deep profil, increase of clay fraction along with the depth of soil, soil acidity, and low base saturation. Low pH, low nutrient elements such as nitrogen, phosphor, and potassium, low availability of organic carbon, Ca, Mg, Na, cation exchange capacity (CEC), base saturation are the characteristic of post bauxite mining land. The land that was formerly bauxite mining process by removing of a layer of top soil until the layer that contains the seeds of bauxite called post bauxite mining land. Coastal sediment is sediment which contains quite high micro nutrients with low CEC so by the addition of coastal sediment expected to increase base saturation and soil fertility. Cow manure is one of the alternative to improve the fertility of the soil. This study get analyzed by Complete Randomize Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications. A Treatment (control), B treatment (1.5 kg coastal sediment + 2.5 kg of manure), C treatment (2.4 kg coastal sediment + 4 kg of manure), the last D treatment (3.3 kg coastal sediment + manure). This research analyzed with the F test, if significant continued with Tukey’s Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) at the 5% level to obtain the difference between treatments. Based on the result, combination of Coastal sediment and cow manure from the C treatment (2.4 kg coastal sediment + 4 kg manure) able to increase pH of soil up to 6.68, which is the highest pH among the other treatments. Keywords : Ultisols, coastal sediment, cow manure, bauxite mining.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Selada Lactuca sativa L merupakan salah satu tanaman sayuran dari famili Compositae. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk untuk mengetahui ketersediaan unsur hara N,P,K dan subtitusi limbah padat biogas terhadap pupuk anorganik di tanah Aluvial pada tanaman selada. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di Desa Bakau Besar Laut, Kabupaten Mempawah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini yaitu metode eksperimen lapangan dengan pola rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan limbah padat biogas, perlakuan yang dimaksud : P0 = 100% NPK, P1 = 75% NPK + 25% LPB, P2= 50% NPK + 50% LPB, P3= 25% NPK + 75 % LPB, dan P4 = 100% LPB. Masing – masing perlakuan diulang 5 kali, dan setiap satuan percobaan terdiri dari satu tanaman perpolibag sehingga jumlah polibag yang di gunakan 25. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian limbah padat biogas berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan ketersediaan unsur hara P, K, dan C organik, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap unsur hara N, pH Tanah dan Berat basah tanaman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Pada perlakuan P1,P2,P3 dan P4 mampu mensubtitusi penggunaan pupuk anorganik, dan perlakuan P4 penambahan 600 gram limbah padat biogas menunjukan ketersediaan C-Organik, N-Total, P-Tersedia dan K dapat dipertukarkan paling tinggi diantara perlakuan lainya, sehingga penambahan limbah padat biogas sudah mampu menggantikan penggunaan pupuk anorganik namun pada hasil tanaman selada menunjukan bahwa perlakuan P2 (50% NPK + 50% LPB) memberikan hasil berat basah tanaman paling tinggi diantara tanaman lainya, sehingga mensubtitusi 50% penggunaan pupuk anorganik dengan limbah padat biogas mampu meningkatkan produktivitas hasil tanaman selada di tanah aluvial.. kata kunci : Limbah Padat Biogas, Selada, Tanah Aluvial
