Abstract

This research is a type of Class Action Research (PTK) that aims to improve the activeness and learning outcomes of IPS students of grade VIII-2 smp Negeri 1 Sei Bingai Year 2018-2019 through the application of problem-based learning models. Grade VIII-2 students numbered 32 students with a total of 14 male students and 18 female students. This research method uses research methods from Kemmis and Taggart consisting of 4 main components, namely planning, implementation of actions, observations and reflections. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations and documentation. Ice instrument used is a test instrument problem in the form of multiple choice questions and essay questions and observation sheets consisting of indicators of student learning activity. The data is descriptively quantitative and presented in the form of tables and drawings/charts. The data from the study showed that the data on pre-cycle completion percentage by 46.8% increased in cycle I to 84.3% and reached 93.8% in cycle II. In addition to the learning outcomes, students' learning activity also increases every cycle where in cycle I the learning capacity is in the Good category and in cycle II increases to the very Good category. For the activeness of learning students also in cycle I get a good category and increase in cycle II into an excellent category. Based on these results, it was concluded that by applying a problem-based learning model, the activeness of learning and the results of ips learning of grade VIII-2 students of SMP Negeri 1 Sei Bingai Tahunn in 2018-2019 have improved.

Abstract

The formulation of the problems in this study are (1) whether there is an influence of emotional intelligence on improving employee performance at PT. KAI Belawan Station. (2) whether there is an influence of motivation on improving employee performance at PT. KAI Belawan Station. (3) whether there is an influence between emotional intelligence and motivation on employee performance at PT. KAI Belawan Station. The purpose of this study is (1) to find out whether there is an influence of emotional intelligence on the performance of employees at PT. KAI Belawan Station. (2) to find out whether there is an influence of motivation on employee performance at PT. KAI Belawan Station. (3) to find out whether there is an influence between emotional intelligence and motivation on employee performance at PT. KAI Belawan Station. The sample in this study were 31 people with data analysis techniques in this study using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study explain that emotional intelligence does not have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. KAI Belawan Station, while motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of PT. KAI Belawan Station. F test results state that emotional intelligence and motivation have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. KAI Belawan Station. The determination test shows that 40.2% of employee performance variables can be explained by the variables in this study and the remaining 59.8% can be explained by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of company size, and leverage against tax aggressiveness on automotive companies registered with IDX. So that the problems in this study do not extend, then this paper raises the topic of the burden of corporate size, and leverage against tax aggressiveness. This research is limited to automotive companies registered with IDX. In this study, the sampled companies are automotof sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this study is from 2015-2018. The population in this study amounted to 5 companies. To determine the sample size that can represent the population, the selection of samples using purposive sampling method, namely as many as 5 companies This research approach is an associative approach with quantitative data types. The testing method uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques using SPSS version 21. Based on the results of testing and analysis shows that there is a positive and significant influence of tax returns on tax aggressivity, leverage has no significant effect on tax aggression, and the influence of corporate size and leverage silmutan on tax aggression on automotive companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the location of the sale affects the consumer's purchase decision, whether the price affects the consumer's purchase decision, whether the location of the sale and the price affect the consumer's purchase decision. The purpose of this study is to know the influence of sales location on consumer purchasing decisions, To know the influence of prices on consumer purchasing decisions, To know the influence of sales locations and prices on consumer purchasing decisions. This research is a survey research and is casual associative. The population in this study amounted to 100 people and the sample in this study amounted to 100 buyers on broiler breed chickens. Data collection techniques using questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. Tenik data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study show that Sales Locations have a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. This is evidenced by the calculated t value the table t value of 2,681 1,984 with a significant rate of 0.000 0.05. Price has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions, This is evidenced by the calculated t value of t table which is 7,377 1,984 with a significant rate of 0.000 0.05 Sales Location and Price positively and significantly affect consumer purchasing decisions. This is evidenced by the value of f calculate f table which is 61,134 3.09 with a significant rate of 0.000 0.05.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence jointly or partially between organizational culture, compensation and loyalty to the performance of the Workers at the Politeknik Penerbangan Medan. This research uses descriptive qualitative method using primary and secondary data. The population is the workers of the company. Eighty nine workers become the sample of this research. Data analysis technique used is linear regression  which shows that from the three independent variables applied to the regression model (organizational culture, compensation and loyalty). Organizational culture is significant for 0,000 which can be concluded that organizational culture affects performance (hypothesis 1 accepted). Compensation has significant value 0,006which can be concluded that compensation  affects performance (hypothesis 2 accepted). Loyalty variable has significant value 0,013 which means that loyalty influences performance (hypothesis 3 accepted). Research results show that organizational culture, compensation and loyalty all positively influence the performance of the workers. It can be proven using the result of regression statistic test with probability value 0,000 obtained which is lower than α (α=0,05). So, it can be said that organizational culture, compensation and loyalty influence positively the performance of the workers. Thus, hypothesis 4 accepted.

Abstract

Before carrying out teaching and learning activities, teachers need to make teaching preparations or Recana Learning Implementation (RPP) in order to implement some of the monthly plans and annual plans. In preparation it is already contained about, the purpose of teaching, the material to be taught, teaching methods, lesson materials, learning model props, and evaluation techniques used. Therefore every teacher must understand correctly about the purpose of teaching, specifically choosing and determining teaching methods according to the goals to be achieved, how to choose, determine and use props, how to make tests and use them, and knowledge of evaluation tools. Problem-based research, (a) Does structured learning with assignments affect the learning outcomes of Social Knowledge? b) How does structured learning affect students' learning motivation? The purpose of this action research is: (a) To uncover the influence of structured learning models on the learning outcomes of Social Knowledge. (b) To uncover a structured learning model for the motivation of social knowledge learning of Grade VII.1 students of SMP Negeri 11 Binjai. This study uses action research as many as three rounds. Each round consists of four stages: design, activities and observations, reflections, and reflections. The target of this study was students of Grade VII.1 SMP Negeri 11 Binjai. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysts obtained that students' learning achievements improved from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (67.74%), cycle II (77.41%), cycle III (96.77%). The conclusion of this study is that the structured learning model can have a positive effect on the learning motivation of Smp Negeri 11 Binjai students, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to social knowledge learning in junior high school.

Abstract

Employee job achievement is one of the important factors to know the overall performance of the institution is doing well, to improve employee job achievement is influenced by various factors. This research aims to find the effect of training, work experience and human resources competency on job achievement. Various obstacles factors to improve employee job achievement should be able to known by institution as a whole in improving employees job achievement. This method of study used samples of 73 civil servants at Medan Aviation Polytechnic. The data used is the data of the employees and institutions in the year 2020. For data processing, the author uses SPSS software version 26. As for the results of this study, demonstrated Training and Human Resources Competency has significant positive impact on Job Achievement, while Work Experience has no effect on Employee Job Achievement at Medan Aviation Polytechnic. Based on multiple linear regression test results, t test (partial) based on significance value 0.05, Training (X1) Sig value 0.031 0.05; Work Experience (X2) Sig 0550 0.05; and Human Resource Competency of Sig value 0.000 0.05. Based on t count value and t table value, Training (X1) of t count value 2,200 1,994; Work Experience (X2) value t count 0601 1,994 and Human Resource Competency of t count value 6,053 1,994. The test result F (simultaneous) based on the value of Sig 0.05, the calculation result of the independent variable (X) of the sig 0.000 value 0.05 states the independent variable (X) has a simultaneous effect on the dependent variable (Y). F (simultaneous) test results are based on the f count and t table values, the independent variable (X) is simultaneously affected by the dependent variable (Y) with the value F 38.485 2.74. Based on great influence (%) independent variable (X) to the dependent variable (Y) large impact of the Independent (X) variable is 62.6%. And the rest is influenced by other variables that are not researched by the author. To improve job achievement of employees, Medan Aviation Polytechnic, need to increase the number of training and improve existing human resource competency, because these two variables have an influence on the job achievement of employees at Medan Aviation Polytechnic.

Abstract

Every company must have a desire to be successful in marketing all products, both goods and services. This success can be achieved by setting the cost price correctly. Product is one element of the marketing mix in addition to the other three elements (price, distribution, and promotion). Marketing information system is a set of information elements that have been prepared, arranged systematically to become a complete data in order to fulfill / support the activities of the organization and managers in general. From the description above, the authors formulate the problem: "The influence of product quality and marketing information systems on increasing demand at PT Wahana Trans Lestari Medan". Based on the value of the F test, it is obtained that Fcount (Fh) = 16.945 this value is then consulted with Ftable, based on the dk of the numerator = k and dk of the denominator = (n-k-1). Then obtained F table = 3.30. These results indicate that the calculated F is greater than the F table, which is 16.945 3.30, so the multiple correlation coefficient tested is significant. It can be seen that the percentage of influence between the independent variable (x1) is product quality and the independent variable (x2) is the marketing information system with the dependent variable (y) on the increase in demand at PT. Wahana Trans Lestari Medan is 51.4% while 48.6% is influenced by other factors. It takes a certain section that specifically manages everything regarding information to serve the information needs of operating activities so that a truly effective specialization of the information section will be created. Plans for the development of an integrated marketing information system in the future need to be realized immediately and the existing computer capacity fully utilized, this can be beneficial for increasing market demand.

Abstract

This research is a Class Action Research (PTK) that aims to remind the ability to solve the problem of Pythagoras Dalil material through problem solving learning model in grade VIII-4 students of SMP Negeri 1 Sei Bingai Year 2017-2018. The subjects in this study were grade VIII-4 students in the 2017-2018 school year totaling 36 students. Male and female students as many as 19 students and 17 students. This research was conducted as many as 2 cycles. Each cycle is held as many as 2 meetings. This research uses qualitative research method with research model from Kemmis and Taggart, where the research design consists of planning activities, implementation (action), observation (observe), and reflection (reflection). Research data sources are primary data (observation and documentation) and secondary data (Pustaka studies). Data collection techniques using observation techniques and documentation with data collection instruments are test instruments of essay questions and observation sheets of student and teacher activities. The results of the data analysis showed that through the use of problem solving learning models, the ability to solve the story of grade VIII-4 students of SMP Negeri 1 Sei Bingai has improved in each cycle. In the initial cycle, the students who received the "Excellent" category and the "Good" category were all 12 students (34%). Then in cycle I increased, students with the category "Excellent" and category "Good" were all 31 students (86%) up to cycle II, the students who received the "Excellent" category and the "Good" category were all 33 students (92%). Based on these acquisitions, it can be concluded that the use of problem solving learning models can improve the ability to solve student story problems in the subjects of mathematics material Dalil Pythagoras.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance. Does the training have a positive and significant effect on performance. Does the HR audit have a positive and significant effect on performance. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation on performance. To find out and analyze training on performance. To find out and analyze the human resources audit on performance. The sample in this study amounted to 97 employees. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study explain that the variable of work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance. Training variables have a positive and significant effect on performance. HR audit variables have a positive and significant effect on performance.
