Abstract

AbstractThe research to determine the effect of learning with flash media on the material of electrolyte and non electrolyte solution to student learning result of class X MAN 2 Filial Pontianak. The research technique used quasi experimental design method                  Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Research subjects obtained students X A and X B with saturated sampling technique which amounted to 42 students. Data collection techniques in this study are measurement techniques and direct communication techniques. The data collection tool used is the test of learning outcomes. The results tested hypothesis using Test Equals Variances Assumed with α = 95% obtained Z arithmetic of 0.035, is in the acceptance area Ha. This shows that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who were given learning using Flash Media with learning without using Flash Media. Learning using Flash Media gives effect with the effect size price of 0.31 (medium category). Keyword: Influence, Flash Media, learning outcomes,  electrolyte and non electrolyte solutions

Abstract

Abstract“Pronouns” are one of the auxiliaries often used in learning Mandarin. For instance, the pronouns of “zhi”, “tou”, and “tiao” are often applied in daily conversation. There are some similarities and slight differences among those pronouns so the students often found it hard in the usage. The research of the application of “zhi”, “tou”, and “tiao” pronouns was conducted to the 8th grade students in SMP Bruder Pontianak. From the data collection, the writer may concluded that 42%, 49% and 50% in percentage where as the 8th grade students of SMP Bruder Pontianak made mistakes in the usage of the pronouns of “zhi”,“tou”, and “tiao”. Most of the mistakes are in structure order. It was because most of the students had not been taught specifically about the usage of the three pronouns and they still found it difficult in understanding the questions. Based on the findings, the writer would like to propose some constructive suggestions to these three pronouns. Keywords: the pronouns of “zhi”, “tou”, and “tiao” Error Analysis

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the thematic learning model of webbing for the formation of the character of cooperation and patriotism in third class State Elementary School 12 East Pontianak. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Subjects in this study were teachers and students of third class  State Elementary School 12 East Pontianak. The data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis is done through the following phases: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Mechanical examination of the validity of data by using triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the thematic learning model of webbing in its implementation found some positive action that has inspired teachers and instill character and patriotism cooperation through habituation learners through fun learning activities and be done continuously. Establishment of cooperation attitude and love of the homeland to the elementary school students can apply through thematic learning model of webbing. Key words :  thematic learning, webbing model, cooperation, patriotism

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to examine and discuss the phenomenon of member participation and the ability of  the management  to the remaining business results of Credit Union Khatulistiwa Bakti. This research use quantitative method, and sample of this research is counted 95 member cooperative. Data collection techniques used are: Indirect Communication Techniques, direct Communication Techniques. While the data collection tool is: questionnaire research, interview guide. The results of this study indicate that: there is partial influence of member participation to the rest of business result of Credit union member Khatulistiwa Bakti with value of sig 0,001 <0,050. There is partially influence the ability of management to the rest of business result of credit union member Khatulistiwa Bakti office of Simpang Tiga  with sig value 0,003 <0,050.  There is a linear influence between the participation of members on the ability of the board with the value of siginifikansi deviation from linierity 0,0533> 0,050. There is significant and positive influence simultaneously member participation and ability of management to the rest of business result of member of credit union Khatulistiwa Bakti resume table Statistical product and service solution obtained significance value 0,003 <0,050, and big influence of coefficient of determination R²) of 12,2%.Keywords: participation, management ,Remaining bussines result

Abstract

 AbstractChinese characters are composed of strokes. There are some fixed orders in strokes when writing Chinese characters. The order of writing Chinese characters is called stroke orders. Writing Chinese characters cannot be arbitrary, and to comply with certain rules of stroke, so as to write correctly and beautifully. To write Chinese characters, it is a must to master strokes, stroke orders, and Chinese characters structure. Students of Junior High School found it difficult in writing Chinese characters so they wrote it carelessly. In order to improve the students ability in writting Chinese characters, the writer implied the "Stroke Order Teaching Method"  for 8th grade Students on class C and D in Bruder Junior High School Pontianak by conducting experimental research. After doing the research, the writer concluded that the students’ has mastery of Chinese characters strokes, strokes orders and Chinese structure has reached more than 70%, in percentage while the ability in writing Chinese characters is in 66.63%. The writer hopes this thesis can be useful as the references for the Chinese subject teachers to conducts classroom teaching activities. Keywords: Teaching of Chinese Characters, Writing Chinese Characters, Writing  Strokes

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to get an idea of how much influence tutoring programmed by the school board and the motivation to learn what is being done mentors, so that lessons can be run effectively and efficiently every year in order to deal with the Exam National Standard School (USBN). The research is ex post facto study with explanatory research design. Data collection techniques, namely questionnaires and documentation, as well as data analysis using multiple linear           regression.The test showed partial regression coefficient value of partial tutoring of 58 %, which means there is an influence given to the results of Test tutoring National Standard School economic subjects, while 42 % are influenced other factors beyond the variable of the study.The value of the partial regression coefficient of motivation to learn as much as 16.42 %, which means that the contribution of motivation on the results of the National Standard School Test  economic subjects, while 83.58  % are influenced by other  outside the variable of the study. The result is no effect simultaneously from the adjusted R-square test was found to be  77.4  %, while the remaining 22.6  % is the influence of other variable not examined.Keywords: Tutoring, Motivation To Learn And Test Of The National Standard (USBN)

Abstract

 AbstractThis research is development of cooperative model of jigsaw type based on media card sort with stages (1) data collection, (2) planning, (3) product development, (4) validation and product trial. The purpose of this research is to develop cooperative learning model of jigsaw type based on card sorting media for learning acquisition on Civic Education. The subjects of the study were students of grade XA SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak amounting to 36 people as a sample. Procedure development using Borg & Gall, with experimental methods. Data collection using instrument (1) expert validation questionnaire, (2) observation, and (3) test result learning. Data were analyzed by quantitative and qualitative analysis. The result of data analysis to learning result before action is known 27.77% result of student learning complete, and 72.21% result of student learning unfinished and after action, known 86.11% result of student learning complete, and 13.88% not complete. This means that an increase in student learning outcomes after the action of cooperative learning type of jigsaw based media card sort on the material Wawasan Nusantara. Keywords: Cooperative Learning Type Jigsaw, Media Card Sort.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to analyze the influence and how much of guided discovery method affected the student learning outcomes in science learning on the fourth grade elementary school 33 western Pontianak district. This research used an experimental method with quasi eksperimental form using Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this research were all fourth grade elementary school 33 western Pontianak district which consists of 63 people.The results of analysis using t-test  was    >  1,6708. It means that there was a significance influence by using guided discovery method affected the student learning outcomes in science learning on the fourth grade elementary school 33 western Pontianak district. Based on the effect size (ES) result, it obtained 0,53. It means that learning by using guided discovery method give a moderat effect to student learning outcomes in science learning on the fourth grade elementary school 33 western Pontianak district. Keywords: guided discovery method, learning outcomes, science learning

Abstract

AbstrackThere are many forms of words to express the same meaning is the interesting thing studied by researchers especially in the study deiksis. The problem in this research is how deiksis persona, place deiksis, and deiksis time in Sambas Malay language. The purpose of this study is to describe the deixis persona, place deixis and deiksis time in Malay sambas. Data analysis techniques by the author as follows: film transcription, translation into the Indonesian language, classify data, and analyze data (analyze data by listening video film Kembang Polaria 1 and two, recorded transcription of Malay Sambas dialogue, translate from Sambas Malay to Indonesian, classifies deixis persona, place deixis, and time deixis, discusses the results of analysis with the first supervisor and second supervisor, summarizes the results of data analysis). Based on data analysis, the research concludes as follows: Deiksis persona in Kembang Polaria film can be divided into three based on the role of people involved in the conversation. There are eighteen deiksis persona in the film Flower Polaria four deiksis first persona single, two deiksis first person plural (inclusive and exclusive), three deiksis second person singular, two in plural, six deiksis persona third person. In the plural there is one. There are eighteen deiksis place in the film Kembang Polaria, proximal deiksis nine, semi-proximal nine, and distal 4. There are sixteen deiksis time in film Kembang Polaria can be divided into three based on talker's time that is dextical proximal time two, semi proximal in five, and distal time ten.  Keywords: deiksis, persona, place, time, Sambas Malay

Abstract

 AbstrakThe purpose of this study is to determine the different of problem solving ability before and after applied problem solving learning model with booklet and the effect of the learning model to student class XI MIA MAN 2 Filial Pontianak. The study method that used is a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest posttest design. The study subject are students of class XI MIA MAN 2 Filial Pontianak. The data are collected by test and interview. Percentage of problem solving ability after learning with problem solving model with booklet show that student with very bad category 19,23%, bad category 46,15%, good category 30,77%, and very good category 3,85%. The result of analysis data using Shapiro-Wilk test show that the different problem solving ability before and after applied problem solving learning model with booklet. The effect size value result is shown that the effect of problem solving learning model with booklet through the problem solving ability in the amount of 5,2 with high category. Keywords: Problem Solving Ability, Problem Solving Model, Buffer Solution
