Abstract

Introduction: Riska Department Store and Wholesaler has a wage system that provides wages once a month and sets wages for new employees at IDR 600,000. If the employee demonstrates good performance and is absent no more than twice, the owner usually increases the wage from month to month. In Islam, there are also two principles: justice and the principle of decent and reasonable compensation. Conclusion: In summary, Riska Department Store and Wholesaler not only emphasizes fairness and appropriateness in its wage management but also integrates Islamic principles of just compensation. This approach highlights a commitment to equitable remuneration practices, crucial for maintaining employee satisfaction and compliance with Islamic ethical standards in business operations.

Abstract

Introduction: Government leaders have not fully integrated religious values into their vision, mission, and work programs. This creates a gap between the nation's ideological values and the implementation of public policies, potentially leading to disorientation in national development goals. The absence of religious values in government policies can weaken the moral and ethical foundation that should guide strategic decision-making processes. Research Method: This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach to provide an in-depth analysis of the religious leadership style of Ponorogo Regent Sugiri Sancoko during the 2021-2024 period. The research focuses on understanding how religious values are reflected in government policies and leadership strategies. Result: Under Sugiri Sancoko’s leadership, policies were implemented to nurture future leaders with not only academic excellence but also noble character through the issuance of regional regulations (Perbup). Religious leadership strengthens moral and ethical values, forming a foundation for character education that fosters both academic and moral excellence in the younger generation. Conclusion: Religious leadership can enhance public trust by reinforcing moral and ethical principles in governance. This leadership style helps shape a generation with strong character and integrity, aligning governmental policies with ethical values that promote sustainable national development.

Abstract

Introduction: In the ever-evolving digital age, significant social changes have transformed the roles and contributions of women in society. Women are not only required to fulfill their responsibilities as mothers and wives, but also to pursue careers and overcome the challenges that arise from dual demands. Women's involvement in the workforce can have a positive impact on the family economy, such as improved welfare through the acquisition of relevant resources and knowledge. But on the other hand, the increased workload can also reduce the time they have for family. This study aims to find out more about the role of women in improving the family economy through MSME activities in Wiroditan village. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, including observation, interviews, and documentation. Results: This paper shows that economic activities that are possible to be carried out by women are the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector where there are at least two main reasons for choosing these businesses, namely the lack of capital and the type of business that can be done at home so that it does not require additional capital to rent a business location. Conclusion: This study explains that housewives and women in Wiroditan Village rely on their trading skills to supplement household income. Only a few of them have skilled jobs in various industries.
