Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study are: Does Employee competence affect employee development in the North Sumatra I DGT Regional Office. Does work ethic affect employee development? Does work facilities affect employee development. Does work discipline affect employee development? Does employee competence, work ethic, work facilities and discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on employee development, Research Objectives Are:. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis.The results showed that there was a significant influence between competencies on employee development, because according to the results of the analysis of t count t-table (2.753 1.67) at n = 56 with a significance level of 95%. There was a significant influence between work ethic on development employee, the results of analysis of arithmetic t-table (2.114 1.67) at n = 56 with a significance level of 95%. There is a significant influence between work facilities on employee development, because according to the results of analysis of arithmetic t-table (1,722 1.67) at n = 56 with a significance level of 95%. There is a significant influence between work Discipline on employee development, because according to the results of t analysis t-table (2.664 1.67) at n = 56 with a significance level of 95%. F-count value F table (103,996 2, 56) together (multiple) there is a positive and significant influence of employee competence, work ethic, work facilities and work discipline on employee development. Thus the hypothesis proposed is accepted.

Abstract

This research discusses about the influences of perception, emotion, and knowledge as communication factors on decision making at North Tanjungbalai District. The aim of this research is to analyse the influences of perception, emotion, and knowledge both partially and simultaneously on decision making at the office. This is  a quantitative research with random sampling technique. The sample is 44 employees. Results show that each independent variable; perception, emotion, and knowledge, partially influences decision making positively and significantly. perception has tcount  value 2,578   and level of significance 0.016, emotion   has   3,200   and   0.004,   and   knowledge   has   4,201   and   0.000. Simultaneously, perception, emotion, and knowledge have significant and positive influences on decision making at North Tanjungbalai District with Fcount  value 19,355 and level of significance 0.000.

Abstract

In the face of the globalization era and also the era of ASEAN Economic Community need to continue to improve, among others in improving the performance of its employees. This can be achieved if the company focuses on improving knowledge management, the skills of its employees as well as the creation of good attitudes among its employees so that they work with high performance, quality, and with Large quantities of work. This will lead to the advancement of the company. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of knowledge management and organizational commitment to employee performance. The number of samples in this study amounted to 109 people using slovin techniques. The analytical techniques used are multiple linear regression. The results showed that simultaneous knowledge management variables and organizational commitments have significant effect on employee performance. Knowledge management variables have significant effect on employee performance and organizational commitment variables have no significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

In this study, population growth in North Sumatra Province has increased and decreased every year. This is due to the factors of the use of contraceptives and migration which have increased and decreased every year. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the Effect of Contraceptive Use and Population Migration on Population Growth in North Sumatra Province and is limited only to the use of contraceptives, population migration and population growth in North Sumatra Province in 2016-2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of contraceptives and population migration on population growth in the province of North Sumatra. The hypothesis in this study is that the use of contraceptives and population migration has an effect on population growth in the province of North Sumatra. The population of this study is the report on the Use of Contraceptive Devices, Population Migration and Population Growth in 2016-2020. The sample used is taken from the entire population, namely as many as 33 regencies/cities in North Sumatra Province and multiplied by 5 years in order to obtain 165 research samples. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, t test and F test were conducted to test the effect partially and simultaneously between the independent variable and the dependent variable with the assumption that other variables are considered constant. Based on the results of the partial test, it is known that the variables of Contraceptive Device Use (X1) and Population Migration (X2) have an influence on Population Growth (Y). Based on the results of the simultaneous test, it was found that the Use of Contraceptive Devices (X1) and Population Migration (X2) had a simultaneous (simultaneous) effect on the Population Growth variable (Y). Based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, the R square value is 0.544. This means that the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable is 54.4%, while the remaining 0.456 or 45.6% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

Marketing strategies relating to the activity of increasing volume of product sales are implementing marketing strategies. Product quality, price, and promotion are important things that can influence purchasing decisions. The better the quality of the product in satisfying customers, then can cause high purchasing decisions anyway. The product has a direct pemgaruh to purchase decisions. With the increasing ability of a product it will be superior in competing so that customers will be satisfied. Customer satisfaction is also influenced by price and promotion. The purpose and objectives of this research is to measure and acknowledge and analyze the quality of products, prices and promotions on the decision of purchasing the MCC machine (palm oil management) at PT. Serumpun Indah Lestari Medan.The data analysis technique is a simple linear regression. The samples studied were as much as 73 people. The results of the research are beerinfluence on purchasing decisions. Price affects the purchase decision. Promotion to purchase decisions. And variable-free products, prices and promotions simultaneously (together) affect the variable Y (purchase decision). A 85.6% variation in product value, price and promotion is determined by the role of variation by sentence such as product, price and promotion in influencing the decision to purchase research advice the price effect is further improved due to its influence Very minimum. So the manager is required to further increase the purchase decision related prices.

Abstract

Problem of this study is how influence of   teacher’s maturity on  teacher’s performance. How influence of job environment on  teacher’s performance. How influence of head leadership of madrasah on teacher’s performance. How influence  teacher’s maturity, job environment and   head leadership of madrasah on  teacher’s performance. The purpose of this study to determine and analyze the effect of teacher’s maturity on  teacher’s performance. Determine and analyze the effect of job environment on  teacher’s performance. Determine and analyze the effect of   head leadership of madrasah on  teacher’s performance. Determine and analyze the effect of teacher’s maturity, job environment and   head leadership of madrasah on  teacher’s performance. Sample in the study is 52 teacher’s . Data analysis techniques used in this study is descriptive analyze and multiple linear regression analysis.  The results of the study indicate teacher’s maturity variable has a positive and significant effect on  teacher’s performance.  Teacher’s job environment variable has a positive and significant effect on  teacher’s performance.   Head leadership of madrasah variable has a positive and significant effect on  teacher’s performance.   The teacher’s maturity, job environment and head leadership of madrasah variable has a positive and significant effect on  teacher’s performance.

Abstract

Today, the presence of the urban informal sector is considered one of the emerging economic sectors as a result of the city's high employment growth situation. Those who enter this small-scale business, initially aimed at finding job opportunities and creating income. Identify the distribution of informal sector of Pematangsiantar City, using data from plotting surveys using GPS (Global Positioning System). The distribution of business actors / informal sector activities is identified based on the number of samples taken in conjunction with the dissemination of questionnaires. The number of samples itself is determined using sampling method. The calculation itself is done by means of the number of respondents who choose one of the variables divided by the total number of respondents, namely 50 (fifty) correspondents. Weighting on internal factors of importance is based on the large influence of strategic factors on its strategic position (Freddy Rangkuti, 2001 : 22-24). The number of weights on each internal factor must amount to = 1 (one) : Total Internal Score → Total Strength Weight + Total Weight Weakness = 1. While the value of weight according to Freddy Rangkuti (2001: 22-24) and Training Spama (2000: 13-14) based on the following provisions: "Scale 1.0 (very important) up to 0.0 (not important)". The average weight value depends on the number of strategic factors (5-10 strategic factors) used After doing the analysis, it can be known that in strengths variables that have the highest sub total is creativity with a value of 0.640. And for weaknesses that have the highest sub total is the source of capital with a value of 0.270. Conclusions based on the results of identification and analysis of the Study of Development and Informal Sector Of Pematangsiantar City, then some conclusions that can be drawn as follows, the Internal Development factor of informal sector of the City of Pematangsiantar consists of several factors of strengths and weaknesses. Variables of the strength of the informal sector of Pematangsiantar City are: motivation, creativity, many kinds / types of business, small capital, and work experience. The variables of the weakness of the informal sector of pematangsiantar city are: level of education, lack of permits, availability of raw materials, facilities and infrastructure, as well as sources of capital

Abstract

How does the effect of job characteristics on employee performance in the Department of Food and Animal Husbandry of North Sumatra Province. How does boss support influence employee performance at the Department of Food and Animal Husbandry of North Sumatra Province. How does the influence of organizational commitment on employee performance in the Department of Food and Animal Husbandry of North Sumatra Province. How the influence of job characteristics, boss support and organizational commitment to the performance of employees in the Department of Food and Animal Husbandry of North Sumatra Province.The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of job characteristics on employee performance in the Department of Food and Animal Husbandry of North Sumatra Province. To determine the effect of boss support on the performance of employees in the Department of Food and Animal Husbandry of North Sumatra Province. To determine the effect of job characteristics, boss support and organizational commitment to the performance of employees in the Department of Food and Animal Husbandry of North Sumatra Provinc.The sample in this research amounted to 51 employees. Data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis.The results of this research partially explain the job characteristics there is a significant influence on employee performance. Partial support from boss has no significant effect on employee performance. Partial organizational commitment does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Job characteristics, boss support and organizational commitment simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance in working at the Department of Food and Animal Husbandry of North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether work discipline, supervision, and organizational climate simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the performance employees of the Department of Housing and Settlement Kabupaten Batu Bara. This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline, supervision and organizational climate on the performance of the employees of the Department of Housing and Settlement in Batu Bara Regency. The sample in this study were all employees of the Department of Housing and Settlement  Kabupaten  Batu  Bara,  amounting to  65  people.  The data  analysis technique in this research is Multiple Linear Regression. The results of this study indicate; Work discipline partially has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance; Supervision partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; Organizational climate partially positive and significant effect on employee performance; Work discipline, supervision and organizational climate simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This paper talks about the role of Ombudsman in order to realize clean government and good governance especially for government agencies Clean Goernment and Good Governance in relation to good governance in the form of Public services to the public include aspects; The judicial system (the supremacy of law) and the government responsible for running the public service efficiently. In supporting the ability of a government in implementing Good Governance, there are three key pillars in its alignment: Government (the state), civil society (Society of Adab, civil society, civil society), and the market or the world Business. The three pillars are the parties that are integrated in the realization of Good Governance. In the context of institutional or institutional, the two pillars of Clean Governance mentioned above are the government, the business world (private), and the community in Public services must have a high synergy in the public service process. The third relationship can be explained by looking at the principal agent concept where the government is the agent who obtains the mandate of the community through the law to conduct public services to the business world and society as Principals who are then based on legislation involving other parties as a controlling the relationship is Ombudsma. Analysis uses the concept of 4 levels of economic institutional. The results of the analysis recommend: Good and Clean Governance is a reform demands that one form is improvement of public service. Referring to the law No. 25 on public services, the parties involved in the public service process are government agencies as agents, communities as principals and ombudsmen as third parties acting as supervisors and Mediator. The relationship between the government and the community can be explained by the concept of the principal agent that raises the problem of agency and problems arising between the two is resolved through the Ombudsman. The purpose of public service is to provide optimal preference for the community in fulfilling its needs by first fulfilling the requirements needed to obtain service. The Ombudsman as the agency being persuaded by the law should be able to minimize the costs arising from the public service process.
