Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using ArchiCAD software as a tool for interactive 3D visualization in the context of learning media for building drawing engineering. Traditional methods of teaching technical drawing often rely on two-dimensional representations, which can limit students’ spatial understanding and comprehension of complex architectural forms. By integrating ArchiCAD, a Building Information Modeling (BIM)-based software, students are exposed to a more immersive and realistic learning experience, enabling them to visualize construction elements more clearly. The research employs a quasi-experimental method involving two groups: an experimental group using ArchiCAD-based interactive media and a control group using conventional methods. Data collection was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests, as well as student perception questionnaires. The results indicate a significant improvement in the learning outcomes of the experimental group, both in terms of cognitive understanding and design skills. Furthermore, student responses show a high level of satisfaction and engagement when using 3D interactive media. These findings suggest that ArchiCAD can be effectively implemented as a digital learning medium in vocational and technical education settings, especially in the field of architectural drawing. The study recommends broader integration of BIM-based tools to support competency-based learning and enhance the quality of engineering education.

Abstract

Manual student report card management at PAUD At-Taqwa poses critical challenges, including significant time inefficiency in daily assessments, the high risk of physical data loss, and limited parental access to timely child development information. This research aims to design and build a web-based e-report card information system to resolve these issues by integrating the entire assessment workflow into a single, centralized digital platform. The system was developed using the waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), implementation, and functional testing. Built with the Laravel Framework (MVC) and a MySQL database, the system's functionality was validated through black box testing. The research resulted in a functional e-report card system with three distinct, permission-based access roles: Administrator, Teacher, and Parent. The Administrator manages all master data, including user accounts and class assignments. The Teacher role is equipped with tools for the digital recording of daily student progress. A key innovation is an AI-assisted feature, powered by the Gemini API, that automatically generates draft narrative reports based on collected daily notes, significantly reducing the teacher's workload. The Parent role provides a secure portal for real-time monitoring of their child's activities and for viewing digital report cards. It is concluded that the system successfully transforms the reporting process into an efficient digital workflow, effectively improving teacher efficiency, enhancing information transparency for parents and institution.

Abstract

The growing population of the Jabodetabek metropolitan area has significantly increased the number of public transportation users, placing immense pressure on the Electric Rail Train (KRL) as a backbone of urban mobility. This surge in KRL passengers frequently results in overcrowding, adversely impacting service quality and passenger satisfaction. Previous studies have consistently highlighted this dissatisfaction, emphasizing that an adequate supply of train carriages is critical to reducing congestion. To proactively manage this issue, accurate forecasting of future ridership is essential for strategic planning. This research employs the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method to analyze and predict passenger volume based on historical time-series data. The methodology involved testing three distinct data-splitting scenarios to identify the most robust model configuration. The evaluation results demonstrate that the ARIMA (9,1,7) model, utilizing a 90% training and 10% testing data division, provides the most superior predictions compared to the other models. This is evidenced by its consistently low error metrics, with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 6.63%. The low MAPE value confirms the model's high predictive accuracy. It is concluded that this optimized ARIMA model is a reliable tool for stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions to improve service quality and mitigate overcrowding in the Greater Jakarta area.

Abstract

Poverty is still a problem that Indonesian people continue to face. To achieve prosperity and social justice for all Indonesian citizens, poverty can be considered a situation where a person does not have the ability to fulfill their basic needs, such as food, shelter, clothing, has a low income, has limited access to education, and has work skills. which is inadequate. The government, as a policy maker, has made various efforts to reduce poverty, one of which is through the Family Hope Program (PKH). However, in its implementation, the distribution of PKH assistance still faces problems in terms of targeting accuracy. To overcome this problem, a system is needed that can provide recommendations about who is worthy of receiving PKH assistance. One approach that can be used is a decision support system (DSS) using the Naïve Bayes method. Naïve Bayes is an algorithm used for text classification and is a Machine Learning method that focuses on calculating probability and statistics to predict future probabilities based on past experience. With the help of SPK, this system is able to provide recommendations about who should receive assistance. PKH is based on criteria such as school children, toddlers, pregnant women, the elderly and people with disabilities. Test results using the Naïve Bayes method with Confusion Matrix calculations show an accuracy level of 75%. Next, a comparison was carried out with testing using Cross Validation, which showed an increase in accuracy compared to previous testing without using 10-fold Cross Validation.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology, especially in the development of web-based applications, has made a major contribution in improving the efficiency of business operations, including in point-of-sales (POS) systems. Based on observations and interviews conducted at the student cooperative of Muhammadiyah University of Palopo, it was found that the cashier system used did not yet have goods statistics features and cost of goods sold (COGS) reports. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop these two important modules using the Agile Scrum approach. The method used is Agile Development with the Scrum framework, which is divided into several sprints with measurable development targets. The system is developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The two main modules built are (1) Goods statistics which displays the number of products sold per day, week, and month, and (2) COGS report which calculates the total cost of goods sold and profit margin based on purchase and sales data. The development results show that both modules function according to user needs. The Statistics module can display real-time data that is relevant for sales evaluation, while the COGS module is able to calculate the cost of goods sold accurately and present complete financial reports. Validation is carried out through sprint reviews and user acceptance tests (UAT), which show that these features facilitate the business decision-making process. In conclusion, the integration of the Agile Scrum method in POS application development has proven effective in building analytical features that are relevant and adaptive to the needs of MSMEs.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital libraries and online bookstores has increased the need for intelligent book recommendation systems that can understand user preferences and provide relevant suggestions. However, many existing systems rely on simple keyword matching or collaborative filtering, which often fail to capture the semantic meaning of complex user descriptions. This study aims to develop and evaluate a content-based book recommendation system that combines Word2Vec word embedding models with Knowledge-Based Filtering to improve the relevance of recommendations based on user-provided descriptions. The proposed system utilizes two Word2Vec architectures, Continuous Bag of Words (CBOW) and Skip-gram, to learn semantic relationships between words in book descriptions and user inputs, while Knowledge-Based Filtering incorporates explicit attributes such as publication year, genre, author, and book length to refine the results. The system was tested using a descriptive query: “a good fiction story telling a boy school at great magic school, published on 1995-1999”. The evaluation, measured by Precision@K and Recall@K at K = 5, 10, and 20, shows that CBOW outperformed Skip-gram, achieving a perfect Precision@5 of 1.00 and balanced precision and recall at higher K values, while Skip-gram exhibited more variability at small K. These results indicate that CBOW is more effective in providing stable and highly relevant recommendations at the top of the list. This research confirms that combining semantic embedding and knowledge-based approaches enhances the accuracy and flexibility of recommendation systems. Further studies can explore diverse datasets and user interfaces to broaden practical applications in digital library and e-commerce platforms.
