Hyperemesis gravidarum occurs more frequently in multiple pregnancies and hydatidiform moles than in pregnancies without other complications. Hyperemesis gravidarum is a symptom of excessive vomiting in pregnant women which causes weight loss (more than 5% of initial body weight), dehydration, ketosis, and abnormal electrolyte levels. This study aims to analyze the relationship between parity and nutritional status with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum at the Dendang Tirta Pratama Clinic, Stabat District, Langkat Regency in 2023. The type of research used in the research is a cross-sectional design. The research sample was 35 pregnant women at the Pratama Dendang Tirta Clinic, Stabat District, Langkat Regency using total sampling techniques. Data were analyzed by conducting a Chi-square analysis test. The results of the research were statistical tests using the Chi-Square test with the test results used being the Fisher Excat Test with a value of p = 0.012. Thus the p value < α 5%, 0.012 < 0.05. This researcher stated that there was a relationship between parity and nutritional status with the incidence of hyperemesis gravidarum. It is recommended that mothers always seek information about hyperemesis gravidarum and risk factors for hyperemesis gravidarum, so that during pregnancy mothers can consume nutritious food for the health of their fetus during pregnancy.

Results : The majority of respondents had less than 76% knowledge, 54% agreed, 76% aged 20-35 years, 44% SMS education and 66% employed. There is a relationship between knowledge and exclusive breastfeeding, namely p = 0.002 < of α value = 0.05. There is no relationship between attitude and exclusive breastfeeding, namely p= 0.145 > than α value = 0.05. Conclusion : There is a relationship between knowledge and no relationship between attitudes and exclusive breastfeeding. It is best to be given support from health workers, family and the mother's intention to provide exclusive breastfeeding

Current family planning programs are urgently needed to prevent unwanted pregnancies and to improve the health and well-being of mothers and children. One of them is the IUD is a long-term contraceptive method that has a high level of effectiveness. The IUD is the third most commonly used method in Asia. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between education and work of women of childbearing age with the use of IUDs at the Temandang Health Center, Merakurak Subdistrict, Tuban . This research was conducted in July 2022 at the Temandang Health Center. This research methodology uses observational analytic with cross sectional design. The independent variables are education and work, while the dependent variable is IUD use. The population in this study were all active family planning acceptors at the Temandang Merakurak Health Center, a sample of 177 family planning acceptors was obtained using simple random sampling technique. Data processing used the chi square test with a significance level of <0.05. The results of the study of 177 female respondents of childbearing age, half of them had low education, almost all of them did not work and were not IUD acceptors. After statistical test using SPSS ρ -value 0.000, then H₀ is rejected. This proves that there is a relationship between education and occupation of women's reproductive organs with the use of IUDs at the Temandang Health Center, Merakurak Subdistrict, Tuban . The results of this study can provide input and information from several supporting factors that influence a woman of childbearing age following the family planning program so that health workers can optimize health promotion for couples of childbearing age in choosing the most appropriate contraceptive according to their needs and conditions.

Background: Breastfeeding is one of the contributions to the health, growth and development of newborns, infants and children. Based on WHO data, coverage of exclusive breastfeeding will decrease in 2022 compared to 2021. The aim of this research is to determine the description of Primiparous Mothers' knowledge about breast milk storage. Method: The research design used a descriptive cross-sectional approach, the research sample was 20 primiparous mothers in the TPMB Nanik Tulungrejo Village, Pare District, Kediri Regency. The variable studied was knowledge about breast milk storage. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using frequency distribution tables and cross tabulation. Result: The research results obtained from 20 respondents and showed that the majority were well-informed mothers (45%), exclusively breastfeeding mothers (65%). The results of the overall data analysis can be concluded that there is a picture of primiparous mothers' knowledge about storing breast milk. Background: Pregnancy period trigger emotional challenges for women, not only due to hormonal changes but also due to physical, psychological, social, financial and cultural factors. Women’s reaction to stress or difficult conditions is considered as resilience. Pregnant women who have low levels of resilience tend to report high perceptions of stress, so increasing resilience in pregnant women is important for building positive coping strategies to minimize the negative effects of stress on the mother and fetus. One of the tools that is often used to assess resilience is Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC). This study aimed to test the validity and reliability of the 10-item CD-RISC on pregnant women sample. Method: This research was descriptive statistical to test the validity and reliability of the CD-RISC 10-items on 30 respondents in Magelang, Central Java. Result: The pearson correlation and cronbach alpha was used to assess validity and reliability. The statistical test results showed that the item correlation value for all items ranged from 0.711 to 0.906, r values from 10 items had score above the r table (0.361). The cronbach alpha value was 0.940. Discussion: Researchers assumed that apart from being valid and reliable, the resilience theory on the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) shows relevance to culture and values adopted by pregnant women in Indonesia, therefore this tool can be employed to explore the level of resilience of pregnant women in quantitative or qualitative research. Conlussion: This study conclude that CD-RISC 10 items has good validity and reliability for assessing the resilience of pregnant women in Indonesia

Introduction: Studies reveal that regular utilization of maternal health care services reduces maternal morbidity and mortality in which these services are affected by complex factors which may be similar across populations. Methods: A community based cross sectional study was conducted from February to May of 2022. A total of 607 women who gave birth in the last 2 years and residing in the area for at least 6 months were selected by two stage cluster sampling technique. A predesigned and pretested questionnaire was used to collect data via face to face interview technique. Chi-square test and multivariable logistic regression were used for data analysis using SPSS (Version 26). Results: Magnitude of maternal health care services utilization was found as; attending antenatal care 99.9%, institutional delivery 99.3% and postnatal care 91.4%. The majority (91.4%) were aware of postnatal care. The proportion (91.5%) of women who utilized postnatal care among those with awareness about it was significantly greater (p<0.001) than the proportion of women who utilized it and with no awareness (63.5%). The nationwide lockdown due to COVID- 19, sudden onset of labor, feeling well were barriers to attending antenatal care, institutional delivery and postnatal care services respectively. Conclusion: Prevalence of antenatal care, institutional delivery and postnatal care services was higher than the national estimate. Improving the quality of care around the time of pregnancy, birth and postpartum is recommended to continuously sensitize the community about the services and further increase the utilization.
