Abstract

This study aims to compare the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who are taught using the problemc based learning model and the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who are taught using conventional learning models in class VII students of SMP Negeri 18 Satarmese in the 2022/2023 academic year.Pretestposttest control group design is used in the quasi-experimental design of the research. There were a total of 58 students in class VII at SMP Negeri 18 Satarmese who participated in this study. Sampling in this used non-probability sampling or a sampling technique that did not provide equal opportunities or opportunities for each elemnt or member of the population to be selected as a sample, so the researchers made class VII A as the experimental class and class VII B as the control totaling 29 participants. A description-based mathematical problem solving ability test was used to gather the information. Prerequisite tests, such as homogeneity and normality tests, were carried out prior to the analysis of the data. The data from both groupd come from a population that is normally distributed and has a homogeneous variance, as demonstrated by the calculations for the normality and homogeneity tests. Then a hypothesis test was AL-FIKRU: JURNAL PENDIDIKAN DAN SAINS, 4 (1), 2023 | e-ISSN 2774-5627 p-ISSN 2747-134948carried out to see the studentd’ mathematical problem solving abilities. The N-gain score data were the ones that were analyzed using the independent t test statistical method.Based on the data analysis result obtained that the calculation result = 8,03 and = 1,67 at the significant level and degrees of freedom. Because price = 8,03 > price = 1,67, it is accepted and rejected. Therefore, there are differences in students mathematical problem solving abilities taught using the Problem Based Learning model with students mathematical problem solving abilities taught using conventional models. Based on the research results, recommendations for further research are to carry out similar research with other learning models and other classes. Keywords: Conventional Learning, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, the ability to solve Mathematical Problems

Abstract

The development of scientific progress is a necessity, this includes all sciences, both politics, economics, natural sciences, and so on, including Islamic education which is also experiencing very rapid development. This includes being influenced by the development of the philosophy of science, there are at least 4 phases in the philosophy of the development of science, namely: the initial phase to the renaissance, then the positivism phase, the modern phase to the contemporary phase. Likewise, Islamic studies also experienced developments starting from the classical, modern and contemporary periods, and in this contemporary period it was divided into 5 trends, namely: fundamentalist, traditional, reformistic, posttraditionalistic and modernistic. The development of Islamic science is at least influenced by 3 reasons: to meet the material and spiritual needs of Muslims need Islamic science, the burial of metaphysical aspects, or aspects that cannot be measured in the lab by western science and the need for Islamic science by Muslims who are in an area where . the development of contemporary science with a culture that is not the same as the west. And to answer and resolve all the problems above, it is necessary to present a philosophy of science in the development of Islamic science (Islamic studies). The purpose of this research is to briefly discuss the contribution of the philosophy of science to the growth of Islamic studies. The research method used is a qualitative approach, using data analysis using data reduction, presenting data, drawing conclusions. Alltypes of knowledge that humans need as servants of God are the creation of laws that are permissible and must. The scientist does not limit himself to his own field of study but on the contrary he must look to fields which are close to developing a science whose impact does not prohibit greed of material possessions but on realist, ethical, harmonious, and religious presuppositions. However, the author appreciates the approach that claims that knowing alittle (particular) is better than knowing a little (general) things. Keywords: Philosophy of Science, Development, Islamic Studies

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of nutritional status and science learning on children's physical and motor development at TK Al Abrar Makassar. The research method used is quantitative with an associative type of research that aims to determine the effect of two or more variables. The variables used in this study were nutritional status (X1), science learning (X2), and children's physical motor development (Y). The type of data used is primary data obtained from a questionnaire. The population and sample in this study were 50 students at TK Al Abrar with a purposive sampling method for determining the sample. In this study the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression tests. The results of his research show that children in TK Al Abrar Makassar. This means that the higher the nutritional status, the higher the physical motoric development of children. There is a significant positive influence on science learning on children's physical motor development at TK Al Abrar Makassar. This means that the higher the science learning, the higher the child's motor development. There is an influence of nutritional status and science learning on the physical and motoric development of children in TK Al Abrar Makassar. Abstract

This article has the aim to explain, analyze and interpret about how understanding of multicultural dimension can form the diversity awareness of people. This article is a library research that uses a qualitative approach. This article show that are strata dimensions in multicultural structures such as macro culture, micro culture and diversity. Country and nation is called the macro culture dimension. The macro culture itself is built by a collection of cultures that occupy the country (macro culture). while the dimensions in the micro culture are filled with the dimensions of diversity that exist in each individual which is called the diversity of individual. Diversity itself forms a culture which is then included in the category of microculture (group culture) and then microculture will form the national culture of a country so that it is then called macroculture. So then in forming the identity of a nation can be started from the formation of one's individual identity. If individual diversity can be understood and realized by other individuals, then mutual awareness, understanding and respect for diversity at the microculture and macroculture dimension can be formed.

Abstract

The role of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in the world of education is very large in terms of the benefits and advantages it has, namely facilitating broad access to education, being able to improve the quality as well as the quality of learning between teachers and students. ICT must be mastered by teachers and become a matter of priority that must really be understood by every teacher as a competency standard in the current era. The use of ICT-based learning media is expected to make it easier for students to understand and accept the learning process carried out by the teacher. Through Movie Maker, a teacher can easily develop learning media to suit the situation, conditions and environment of students. This animated learning media can represent the presence of teachers when they cannot meet face to face in class during a pandemic or certain situations that do not allow face to face meetings.
