Al-Fikru Journal is an Educational Journal published by the Zainul Hasan Genggong Islamic University (changed form from the Zainul Hasan Institute / INZAH) in 2020. Articles published in journals are writings/articles resulting from thoughts and research results written by experts, scientists, practitioners, and reviewers in the disciplines of education and learning. The existence of the Al-Fikru journal is certainly very important in studying, enriching and developing various thoughts and theories. Abstract

Jambi was formed as an autonomous regional government with municipal status determined based on the Governor of Sumatra Decree No. 103/1946, on 17 May 1946 it was signed by Tengku Mohamad Hassan, and the Municipality was upgraded to become a large city of Jambi based on Law no. 9 of 1956 concerning the formation of large urban autonomous regions, because it has officially become a municipal area, Jambi City certainly needs a mayor. The government of Jambi mayor is very different from time to time, each mayor has different ways of leading and achievements. Syarif Fasha is the 11th mayor of Jambi. The pressure of life in the past has become a stepping stone for his career. Education from parents and the reality of life has shaped Syarif Fasha's character to be a good and hard-working individual. Syarif Fasha succeeded in building Jambi to be more advanced, within three years the quality of the people of Jambi city showed an increase, the 2015 Jambi city human development index (HDI) was the highest in Jambi province, namely 75.58 numbers, life expectancy reaching 72, 31. Abstract

Dahlan Iskan is a national figure who has contributed to advancing the Indonesian state. Dahlan Iskan is known to the wider community as a former CEO of the Javanese newspaper Pos Grub, President Director of PLN and has also been one of the State Ministers of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). He is someone who should be emulated and exemplified by everyone, especially for the younger generation, especially in his character from his life journey in fighting for the advancement of the Indonesian state. The author uses the method in making this article is the library research method and historical research methods. The library research method is a series of activities related to the library data collection method (Mahmud, 2011: 31). In addition, the author also uses the historical research method which includes several series of steps in the form of the Heuristic method, source criticism, analysis and interpretation, and historiography. This article contains a biographical history of an Indonesian figure named Dahlan Iskan with the formulation of problems regarding the life history of Dahlan Iskan, how the history of the progress of BUMN and Indonesian newspapers by Dahlan Iskan, and how the character of discipline, hard work, and never giving up is owned by Dahlan Iskan. . The research of making this article aims to describe or analyze and get an overview of the character values ​​possessed by the character Dahlan Iskan in a novel written by Sholihin Hidayat. Abstract

This study aims to improve the motivation to learn Civics using active learning method. This research was conducted in class X.5 which amounted to 34 students. The method used in this research is classroom action research method (PTK) which carried out as many as three cycles. In the first cycle directly using the active learning method with the card game model in learning Civics, because it was noticed at the beginning of observation that the study of learning class X.5 is still low, after using the method of active learning student motivation questionnaire as much as 57.64%. In the second cycle of learning motivation has increased, this can be seen from the increase of students' learning motivation, the spirit of competing in a healthy, active in answering questions and asks, cooperation among students and the increase of questionnaire results of student learning motivation in the second cycle as much as 71.76%. Civic learning activities in the third cycle by using the card game model can improve student learning motivation, this can be seen from the result of questionnaire student learning motivation as much as 76.03%. The results of the study increase the learning motivation from the first cycle to the second cycle of 14.12%, from the second cycle to the third cycle increased by 4.27%, so the increase in learning motivation from cycle one to third cycle increased by 18.39%. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of active learning method of card game can improve student learning motivation in Civics subjects in class X.5 in Senior High School 1 North Cikarang. Abstract

The quality of education is the school's ability to manage operationally and efficiently the components related to the school so as to produce added value to these components according to applicable norms or standards. To improve the quality of education, it can be done in a comprehensive way which includes all elements in education in order to achieve good expectations, starting with building most of the school buildings, conducting technology socialization and finally conducting training for each teacher or educator. In this study the authors used a type of library research. The data sources used by researchers were in the form of books, journals and other documents that were useful as supporting data in this study with a qualitative approach. The results of this study criticize education according to Husein Albalawi. the concept of Hassan Hussein al-baylawi places more emphasis on teacher quality, the better the quality of the teacher, the better the quality of education will be guaranteed. It is undeniable that improving the quality of teacher education is one of the indicators that determines whether the quality of education is good or not, but in reality good teacher quality cannot be a guarantee for improving the quality of education, because it will not work if teachers cannot meet the needs of teachers. students or do not understand the situation of students. To improve the quality of education is not only seen from the three pillars that Hassa Hussein al-Baylawi said, but in improving the quality of education it must be seen from many sides, namely the quality components. This section is a supporter and a prerequisite for having quality, some of the components include quality-oriented leadership, education and training, support structures, communication, rewards and recognition, and the last is measurement. Abstract

We have often heard of meta-analytical research related to digital learning media, but this time the research wants to research related to digital learning media with its novelty form. This meta-analyzing study was conducted with the aim of knowing the total effect size and analyzing digital learning media on learning outcomes, where this meta-analysis research used 9 research articels from 970 scirntific articles found on Harzing’s Publish or Peerish platforms that met the exclusion and inclusion criteria. The results of the meta-analysis showed that digital learning media on learning outcomes for its application was more effective at the elementary level with the help of Geoboard media as evidenced by the high effect size value of 1,6036.Keywords: digital learning media, learning outcomes, elementary level

Abstract

This study aims to determine educational management from the perspective of the Qur'an. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach. The result of this research is that management is the process of utilizing all resources through people and working with them. The process is to achieve common goals effectively, efficiently, and productively. The principles of educational management according to the Qur'an include sincerity, honesty, trustworthiness, justice, responsibility, dynamic, practical, flexible, selective, effective and efficient, open, cooperative and participatory, giving warnings, giving directions and directions. The conclusion of this study is henceforth, management functions such as planning, organizing, mobilizing, and supervising. Abstract

The quick advancement of information and communication technology ought to be able to boost educational efforts and results. It is anticipated that the availability of digital classrooms would serve as a bridge connecting students and teachers in teaching and learning activities without needing to be restricted by time or space. In semester 1 of the Human Reproductive System course for Class IX G of SMP Negeri 10 Probolinggo undertook this classroom action research. The Edmodo application is used in this project to deliver digital classes. The outcomes demonstrated that the use of digital classrooms increased student engagement and achievement. During the transition to digital classes, students were extremely engaged, enthusiastic, and active. Based on their responses to the researcher's Interest Questionnaire after the introduction of the digital class, all of the students indicated that they planned to continue their education there and that other subjects would also benefit from the use of the digital class.Keywords: science, exercise, learning achievement, and digital classes

Abstract

A learning system that is very efficient and has logicality above the intellect of ordinary humans who use the right brain, this programis called AHA where 10 fingers become 99 fingers and the way of thinking uses the right brain. Programs that are rarely used elsewhere. The AHA program really helps students to think clearly, quickly, and precisely. So that students can count in an easier way. With this method it is hoped that it can inspire other students to use the AHA method in learning.The AHA (Asmaul Husna Arithmetic) program provides a slightly different alternative way of counting for golden age children (0 to 8 years) who are actually hungry for other ways of counting. However, his teaching uses only one method of counting. And this method only represents the child's logical-mathematical intelligence. In this case, the method is further expanded with visual and kinesthetic special intelligence. The diversity of elements of intelligence is what provokes children to like learning activities called counting. Abstract

The Indonesian nation, where the majority of the population is Muslim, is the center of the largest concentration of Muslims in the world, definitely requires truly qualified Islamic educational institutions dedicated to the interests of the nation as a whole, so that Islamic insights are always related to Indonesian insights. and research objectives, research methods, and research findings or ideas. Abstract

Malang City is one of the educational cities in Indonesia where there are various universities there. So that students in Malang City are required to have a strong mentality and condition in dealing with environmental changes that occur there. Most changes in the surrounding environment can lead to bad things so that this can affect the future of students as the next generation of the nation. Like the many acts of pornography and pornography and the existence of radical Islamic thoughts among students, this can result in the erosion of Islamic values ​​and faith in higher education circles. Pondok Pesantren, which incidentally is a place for authentic Islamic scientific treasures, can be a solution to the problems that have occurred so far. Therefore, this study reveals concrete evidence of the effect of optimizing cultural and religious activities in the context of internalizing ibadurrahman values ​​which are part of the vision and mission of the caretaker of Anwarul Huda Islamic Boarding School, namely KH. Bailowi ​​Muslich. Based on the results of the study, that there are several activities contained in the twelve characteristics of worship. The values ​​of ibadurrahman are expected to be able to influence santri (students) in strengthening Islamic values ​​and achieving life goals that are blessed by Allah SWT.
