Abstract

This study aims to describe the strengthening of the character (profile) of Pancasila students through the Pancasila Student Profile and Lil Alamin Student Profile Projects (P5P2RLA). The research was conducted at MAN 2 PROBOLINGGO CITY. The methods used in this research are observation, documentation review, and interviews. The results of the analysis show that one of the scopes of implementing the independent curriculum is strengthening the profile of Pancasila students. In KMA no 347 of 2022 concerning Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Madrasas it is stated that strengthening the profile of Pancasila students in madrasas is projected on 2 (two) aspects, namely the Profile of Pancasila Students and the Profile of Lil Alamin Students (P5P2RLA). As a pilot madrasa set by the Director General of Islamic Education, MAN 2 Probolinggo City must also carry out a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students. and students of rohmatan lil alamin. The application of the Pancasila student profile can be carried out through school culture, intra-curricular learning, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which focus on building character and abilities that are built in daily life and lived in each individual. The implications of the research show that strengthening the character (profile) of Pancasila students can be done through classroom learning. Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon of student delinquency which has recently become increasingly worrying, such as: brawls between students, promiscuity among adolescents, drug abuse and so on, from these problems teachers especially Islamic religious education teachers have a duty and role to improve behavior Islamic students. As for the focus of research in this case is to know how the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the formation of Islamic character.Data collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. As for the analysis, the researcher uses descriptive qualitative, namely in the form of descriptions and descriptions of the data collected as a whole about the actual situation.The results of this study indicate that Islamic religious education teachers play a role in shaping students' Islamic behavior. Abstract

Academic supervision is one of a school principal's main duties and responsibilities. This study aims to describe the academic supervision practices of principals in public junior high schools based on teachers' perceptions. This study was conducted in Probolinggo City East Java Province, by distributing a questionnaire to 109 teachers in three selected SMPNs. The questionnaire had been validated using the expert judgment technique. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed quantitatively. The findings show that the public junior high school principals supervised the teachers regarding their teaching-related responsibilities. The prominent supervision practice exercised by the principals was motivating teachers to take advantage of information technology in teaching. The weakest one performed by the principals was related to helping teachers in developing the syllabus required by the current national curriculum. Thus, some school principals’ academic supervision practices still need improvement..Keywords: academic supervision, principalship

Abstract

The study from home policy during pandemic is thought to have an impact on changes in children's learning behaviour caused by a decrease in discipline and responsibility. The condition of houses with learning facilities and communication patterns were one of the factors that contributed to the decline. This study aims to determine whether there is a decrease in discipline and responsibility as well as children's learning behaviour while studying at home during the pandemic. With a quantitative approach, this research explores the data obtained. Data was collected using a Google Form questionnaire which was distributed to social media groups among parents/guardians of elementary school or madrasah primary school students in various cities in Indonesia. Data analysis used the t-test and F-test to determine the correlation of each variable. The results showed that there was a decrease in the attitude of discipline by 69 percent and a decrease in the attitude of responsibility by 64 percent. In addition, it also found (1) a significant effect between a decrease in discipline and a negative change in learning behaviour; (2) a significant difference between a decrease in the attitude of responsibility and a negative change in learning behaviour; and (3) there is a significant simultaneous effect between the decrease in discipline and responsibility with negative changes in learning behaviour.Keywords: Discipline, Responsibility, Learning Behavior, Pandemic Period

Abstract

Students need to be trained to be able to solve problems in learning activities, this is done so that they are better prepared to face the challenges of life in the future. An overview of students' abilities in solving physics problems is obtained through appropriate assessments so that students' needs, weaknesses, and mistakes can be identified. This study aims to identify student errors based on Newman's Error Analysis (NEA). The method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach and a sample of 20 people who were chosen randomly. The data collection technique used was a test, and the research instrument was in the form of unit conversion test questions in the form of essays in the form of four-item questions. Research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the percentage of errors for each type of error was 7.50% reading errors, 35% understanding errors, 25% transformation errors, 11.25% processing skills errors, and 7.5% writing errors. Thus it can be concluded that each type of error made by each student is in a low category.

Abstract

Harun Nasution is an Indonesian Muslim intellectual who fights for modern Islamic education and is open to science and technology. For him, renewal is a necessity for Islamic education, because Islamic education must have relevance to the dynamics of social life. This study aims to reveal the concept of renewal of Islamic education carried out by Harun Nasution. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the type of library research, where the data used includes bibliographical data, articles, books, and other documents. The results of this study indicate that the legacy of Harun Nasution's thoughts in Islamic education is educational reform including; first, the goal of integrated Islamic education; second, educational curriculum; third, Islamic education methods; and fourth, Islamic education teachers. The implication of the above thoughts is the formation of individuals who have the ability to think critically, understand and fight for humanitarian principles, and can contribute positively to society.Keywords: Harun Nasution, Legacy, Education, Modern

Abstract

Mathematics is an important field of study that is taught at various levels, one of them is college. To become a Bachelor of Mathematics Education, one of students' mathematics skills can be seen in the ability to solve problems. This study aimed to find out the error of Mathematics Education students in solving Differential Equation problems based on Watson's criteria, and find out the factors causing the error to occur. This research is important to do to find out the errors in solving Differential Equation problems and the factors causing the error to occur. The research design and approach of this research was Descriptive Qualitative. Data was obtained through written test instruments, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used to analyze student error was based on Watson's 8 criteria, while the research data analysis were data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusion. The results found that the percentageof inappropiate data (28.11%), inappropiate procedure (24.32%), omitted data (27.57%%), omitted conclusion (84.86%), response level conflict(2.16%%), undirected manipulation (4.86%), skill hierarchy problems (6.49%), and above others (64.32%). The percentage of error that occurred in 37 students from all questions based on Watson's 8 criteria was 30.34%. Factors that cause errors are: (1) internal factors,students do not fully remember the material being tested, they have not mastered the material tested properly and are not thorough when doing the test; (2) external factors, students do not focus when doing the test, work together with friends, and incomplete notes.Keywords: Error Analysis, Cause Factors, Watson Categories, Differential Equations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of the inclusive learning model to overcome the learning difficulties of students with specific language impairment characteristics. This research was conducted at MI Nurul Islam Kalibuntu Kraksaan Probolinggo with a qualitative approach through case study research. The data were obtained from the observation process, interviews with the Madrasah Headmaster, class III teacher, one of the student's guardians, and one of the MI Nurul Islam students, and documentation. The process of data analysis by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and concluding data findings. The results show the success of applying the inclusive learning model to specific language impairment (SLI) students at MI Nurul Islam. This learning process was successful through storytelling activities, reading a book story, playing word chains, and threats with stimulation of random words. This inclusive learning model succeeded in overcoming the learning difficulties of class III students in aspects of SLI or language disorders. This inclusive learning model is able to provide stimulus and stimulation that is flexible to the needs of SLI students. This learning model is a good contribution to the sustainability of educational goals which require students to enrich literacy towards the future era of globalization.

Parents occupy a central role in the formation of character in children. Because the first environment occupied by children is the family environment. So that parents as the first teachers for children must have awareness and capacity in shaping, building and fostering children's character. Religious character is one of the 18 characters that must be possessed by the indonesian generation. The fading of the religious character of the nation's children must be of particular concern to parents. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study show the role of the family in building the religious character of children in trucuk sub-district, bojonegoro regency 1) through education and teaching in the family environment, 2) through role models in behaving in the family environment. 3) through regular habituation in the family environment. 4) through motivation by giving awards for children's achievements and giving warnings, reprimands or punishments for child carelessness or mistakes. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop existing teaching materials (powerpoint) into Android-based teaching materials. Which is in the form of an application (apk) that is integrated with a personal smartphone. This application is expected to facilitate the teaching and learning process. This research uses the research and development (R&D) method, which is a research method used to produce certain products, and test the effectiveness of these products.Based on the results of the questionnaire for carrying out the media test. Based on the results of the media test, the following results were obtained, the result was 92% and had very good criteria and there was no need to revise the media being developed. Meanwhile, a questionnaire was given to material experts. The researcher got the data from filling out the 80% criterion questionnaire and had good criteria. With the development of Android-based learning media, it is hoped that it will facilitate learning in the Abhidhamma Pitaka course at STAB Negeri Raden Wijaya. In addition, the media can be used as teaching materials which can be optimized as a second source after the Abhidhamma book.Keywords: Abhidhamma, Android, Learning Media, Applications
