Abstract

General Background : The implementation of inclusive education is a crucial issue in modern education to ensure all children's right to learn is fulfilled. Specific Background : This study specifically describes the implementation of inclusive learning at TK ABA Bebekan, focusing on curriculum adjustments, the use of inclusive learning technology, and the creation of an inclusive learning environment. Knowledge Gap : While the concept of inclusive education is well-known, there is a lack of detailed descriptive case studies that can serve as a practical guide for other institutions. Aims : The purpose of this research is to provide a comprehensive analysis of how TK ABA Bebekan implements inclusive learning. Results : The findings indicate that the implementation follows a systematic process, including child identification, assessment, and curriculum adjustment. This process also incorporates inclusive learning technology and a supportive environment. The study found no differences in implementation except for learning outcomes. Novelty : The research's novelty lies in its detailed and practical description, which can serve as a model for other educational institutions. Implications : The findings are expected to serve as a valuable reference for schools beginning to apply inclusive learning programs, emphasizing that inclusive practices can be implemented effectively without differentiation, except for adjusted learning outcomes. Highlights : This research describes the implementation of inclusive education at TK ABA Bebekan. The implementation process involves child identification, assessment, and curriculum adjustments. Abstract

General Background : This study is grounded in the importance of psychological and social factors in determining students' academic success. Specific Background : The focus is to analyze the relationship between students' perceptions of the peer environment and learning motivation on the science learning outcomes of 8th-grade students at SMPN 1 Prambon. Knowledge Gap : Although previous studies have identified this relationship, an in-depth analysis within a specific context is needed to reveal potentially differing findings. Aims : This research aims to quantitatively describe the relationships among these variables. Results : The findings show a positive relationship between the peer environment and learning motivation with students’ learning outcomes. Novelty : The novelty of this study lies in the finding that students' perceptions of the peer environment do not entirely influence learning outcomes, which contradicts previous theories and suggests other, more dominant factors may be at play. Implications : These findings carry important implications for educators to consider other factors and design more comprehensive learning strategies, providing a basis for further research. Highlights : This research analyzes the relationship between peer environment, learning motivation, and science learning outcomes. The study used an ex-post facto method with a sample of 169 eighth-grade students. The results show a positive relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes, but the peer environment's influence is not as direct as some theories suggest. Abstract

Background: The low student learning outcomes in science subjects are influenced by both internal and external factors. Student perceptions of teaching styles and learning motivation are crucial external and internal factors, respectively. Aims: This study aims to determine the relationship between student perceptions of teacher teaching styles and learning motivation on cognitive learning outcomes in seventh-grade science at SMP Negeri 1 Bangil. Methods: An ex-post facto correlational design was used with a population of 360 students and a sample of 186 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using simple linear and multiple linear regression with SPSS-25. Results: The study found a positive and significant relationship between student motivation and cognitive learning outcomes. While student perception of teacher teaching styles showed a relationship with cognitive learning outcomes, the results of the hypothesis test show a contradiction between the partial and simultaneous findings, where perception of teaching styles was not found to have a significant partial effect but had a significant simultaneous effect when combined with learning motivation. Novelty: This study provides unique insights into the relationship between teaching style perception, motivation, and learning outcomes within the specific context of a junior high school in Bangil, highlighting the need for teachers to develop engaging and motivating learning strategies. Implications: The findings suggest that teachers should develop engaging and motivating teaching strategies to improve student learning outcomes. Future research is needed to explore other factors influencing learning outcomes to provide a more comprehensive understanding. Highlights : The study found a positive and significant relationship between student motivation and cognitive learning outcomes. Student perceptions of teaching styles did not have a significant partial effect on learning outcomes. However, when combined with motivation, perceptions of teaching styles had a significant simultaneous effect on learning outcomes. Abstract

Abstract : General background: Pronunciation is a fundamental component in English language learning, especially for primary school students, as it affects communication clarity and confidence. Specific background: In many Indonesian primary schools, pronunciation teaching is often limited to conventional methods without engaging multimedia tools, leading to low motivation and varied achievement. Knowledge gap: Limited research has applied reading aloud activities with Powtoon video to support pronunciation improvement in primary-level learners. Aims: This study investigates the use of Powtoon video integrated with reading aloud to improve the pronunciation of 24 sixth-grade students at a primary school in Pasuruan. Results: Using a quantitative pre-experimental design with pre-test and post-test, findings show a significant increase in post-test scores (M=79.27) compared to pre-test scores (M=59.79), with a paired t-test value of -24.472, p < 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference. Novelty: This research applies Powtoon not for reading comprehension but specifically for pronunciation through reading aloud, targeting young learners. Implications: The results suggest that integrating Powtoon into pronunciation lessons can increase student engagement, provide multisensory learning experiences, and improve pronunciation consistency. Highlights : Integrates Powtoon video with reading aloud for pronunciation learning Significant improvement in post-test pronunciation scores Offers an engaging multimedia-based approach for young learners Keywords : Powtoon, Primary School, Pronunciation, Reading Aloud, Multimedia Learning

Abstract

General background: Early childhood is a critical period for language development, and exposure to foreign languages, particularly English, provides essential foundations for future communication. Specific background: In Indonesia, English is introduced as a foreign language from an early age, yet many schools still face challenges in implementation due to varying teacher competencies and parental awareness. Knowledge gap: Limited studies comprehensively describe the structured application of English learning in early childhood within bilingual school contexts. Aims: This study examines the implementation of English learning for children aged 5–6 years at The Naff A Creative & Fun School, focusing on teaching strategies, teacher competencies, and children’s achievements. Results: Data from structured and non-participant observations as well as semi-structured interviews show that children acquire basic vocabulary (colors, numbers, fruits, animals, etc.) and develop confidence in simple communication. Teachers play a central role through consistent routines, communication books, and bilingual classroom practices. Novelty: This study highlights how structured daily habituation combined with teacher preparation effectively fosters early English exposure in a playful yet systematic manner. Implications: Findings emphasize the importance of integrating bilingual practices into early childhood curricula and strengthening teacher qualifications to support sustainable language acquisition. Highlights: English learning at early age benefits from daily habituation. Teacher competence and creativity are crucial for successful practice. Bilingual strategies strengthen children’s vocabulary and confidence. Keywords: Early Childhood, English Learning, Bilingual Education, Teacher Competence, Language
