Abstract

The purpose of the study is to examine the sleep quality of undergraduates during pre-examination period. In addition, the effect of examination stress and sleep quality on academic performance of the undergraduates is also of interest. Questionnaire is used to collect responses from 379 undergraduates regarding perceived stress and sleep quality on the first week of final examination. Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) is the instruments used in investigating the perceived sleep quality of respondents one month before the test is taken. Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) is used to measure the perceived stress level of the subjects for the past one month. The data dissemination concludes that the overall sleep quality of the undergraduates is poor. Female undergraduates tend to have a slightly better sleep quality than the male undergraduates. The sleep quality shows a weak positive relationship with perceived stress. It is also discovered that sleep quality and perceived stress have no effect on academic performance. The university authority might need to look into the problem of poor sleep quality among undergraduates especially during pre-examination period.

Abstract

This concept creates favorable conditions for the development and implementation of mechanisms for the development of school science education in Samarkand region of the Republic of Uzbekistan taking into account the programs developed and implemented at the current stage of development of the region. This approach allows us to strengthen the position with staffing for teachers (biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics) of the secondary school and to achieve the integration of rural and city schools to create a single educational space. It will increase the motivation of students and activate the work of teachers of biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, which will lead to the full formation of the initial stage of professional orientation in the natural sciences

Abstract

This paper is to investigate the effect of google usage on uumsqs final yearstudents’ academic performance. The scope of this paper is focusing on studying the effects of google usage on university utaramalaysia (uum) students’ academic performance. This study has been carried out among final year students of school of quantitative science (sqs) by did survey through asking respondents for information using written questioning which is questionnaire. The survey from the respondents takes time almost a week. It is believe that google usage will create a positive impact on students. By doing this study, students can know whether google is affecting their academic performance. The sources where students refer for academic purpose can also been seen. Besides, the role of google that can help students to gain extra knowledge in the learning process can be identify. Students can find out more advantages that is brought by google which can leave a positive effect on their academic performance.

Abstract

This article reveals some aspects of the formation of skills to solve combinatorial problems when studying a school course in mathematics. It also considers methods for solving historical combinatorial problems, combinatorial problems and the rule of multiplication, developing skills for solving combinatorial problems, tasks on forming concepts, a tree of options, factorial, applying equations to equations and simplifying expressions, combinatorial problems for studying the concepts of permutations without repetitions, permutations with repetitions, placements without repetitions, placements with repetitions, combinations without repetitions, combinations with repetitions. In mathematics, there are many problems that require elements make available a different set, count the number of all possible combinations of elements formed by a certain rule. Such problems are called combinatorial, and the branch of mathematics involved in solving these problems is called combinatorics. Some combinatorial problems were solved in ancient China, and later in the Roman Empire. However, as an independent branch of mathematics, combinatorics took shape in Europe only in the 18th century. in connection with the development of probability theory. In ancient times, pebbles were often used to facilitate calculations. In this case, special attention was paid to the number of pebbles that could be laid out in the form of a regular figure. So square numbers appeared (1, 4, 16, 25, ...). In everyday life, we often face problems that have not one, but several different solutions. To make the right choice, it is very important not to miss any of them. To do this, iterate through all possible options. Such problems are called combinatorial. It turns out that the multiplication rule for three, four, etc. tests can be explained without going beyond the plane, using a geometric picture (model), which is called the tree of possible options. It, firstly, like any picture, is visual and, secondly, it allows you to take everything into account without missing anything.
