Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe students` perceptions of the science learning environment in class VII SMP Sepuluh Nopember, to describe student learning outcomes in class VII SMP Sepuluh Nopember, and whether there was a relationship between students` perceptions of the science learning environment and student learning outcomes in class VII SMP Sepuluh Nopember Sidoarjo. This type of research includes quantitative research with comparative causal types with correlation analysis techniques. Data collection was obtained through questionnaires and documentation of students cognitive learning outcomes,the sample used was 29 students. The object of the research was the seventh grade students at SMP Sepuluh Nopember Sidoarjo. The results showed that the students` perceptions of the science learning environment in the high category were 6 students, 18 students in the medium category and 5 students in the low category. And the cognitive learning outcomes of students with complete categories of 15 students and incomplete categories of 14 students. Then the calculation was carried out through the correlation hypothesis test, the results of this calculation obtained significant results, namely 0,237< 0,05 and significant 0,216< 0,05, so this indicated that there was a positive relationship between students` perceptions of the science learning environment and student cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

The research aimed to reveal creative thinking skills of students on environmental pollution theory at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Ngoro. The research method used is a quantitative description. The population used was 35 class VIII students. The samples taken randomly in this study were 32 students who came from using counting the Slovin formula. The research instrument used was a creativity test. The test is a data collection techniques used in this research. The results of the creativity test were analyzed using the calculation of creative thinking criteria and described into 4 criteria: very creative, creative, supportive, and less creative. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that students at SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Ngoro have creative thinking skills at a enough creative level

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the school's vision, mission, and values process transformed into multicultural education planning ,Multicultural education implementation process, multicultural education evaluation form. To avoid poisoning in understanding the meaning of the title of this study, it is necessary to explain the intent and meaning of the words composed in the title namely: Education is various efforts made by a person (educator) towards a person (protégé) in order to achieve positive maximum development. Planning is an intellectual process for determining goals and ways of achieving them. Implementation is the process of rationing or making it real in another sense is the process of implementation. Transformations are two main definitions. The first transformation is the fundamental change of organizational elements in adjustment to environmental change. The second is a dialogueal process that takes place between teachers and students, students and students as part of the educational process with the aim of developing the ability of learners both in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Management is the science or art of managing a set of tasks through the intermediary of others in achieving goals effectively and efficiently. Multiculturalism is an idea born of the fact of differences between citizens. Different life experiences foster different awareness and values that sometimes appear contradictory. Human encounters of different ethnic backgrounds are increasingly extending across the territorial boundaries of nations and countries to continental boundaries. In this study will discuss how multicultural is interpreted in the lives of citizens. This research will look at the diversity that exists in schools. Multicultural education in this study multicultural education is interpreted as an educational process based on multiculturalism which means acceptance of diversity in life. In relation to how this education will be packaged into multicultural education programs. These programs begin with planning, implementation, and evaluation conducted together.

Abstract

This research is based on the phenomenon of the relationship between educators and children in the concept of Islamic education which was initiated by Abbudin Nata. so he has a big share in the progress of Islamic education, within the scope of teaching which is the subject of research questions, namely: What is the concept of Islamic education according to Abbudin Nata? How is the application of the concept of Islamic education according to Abbudin Nata? To solve this question, this study uses library research (library research). Because the research here uses literature, the writer examines the concept of Abuddin Nata's thoughts with other people's books. The results of the research show that according to Abuddin Nata, first, Islamic education according to Abuddin Nata is an effort to foster, guide and instruct students who make learning habits accept with sincerity of learning, seeking knowledge for the sake of Allah, consciously and planned to have a personality in accordance with the values ​​of Islamic teachings, namely the Al-Qur'an and Sunnah. Second, the concept of educators according to Abuddin Nata is an Islamic scholar who has a very broad knowledge of Islam based on his experience because it requires educators to be sincere only for Allah SWT, what is the condition of educators to be the most role models for their students. His view of students is that they are creatures that have natural potential and, giving up everything just to learn, pursue knowledge solely because of Allah SWT, being kind to their teachers.

Abstract

Error analysis is one of method to help the teacher in teaching and learning languange , not only in English but in other languagesince the teacher will observe the reason or context why the mistakes are made by the students especially in writing. This error happened when the learners cannot correct themselves.Based on the experience of the writer, not every student at SMP PGRI 10 Candi write the text correctly, because some student in SMP PGRI 10 Candi translate Bahasa to English directly. This is mean that students are influenced by Bahasa patterns in writing. So, the writer wants to help the students at SMP PGRI 10 Candi write descriptive text better and appropriate with the generic structure. The aim of this study is to find out the types of error analysis by Dulay Theory and the dominant type of Surface Strategy Taxonomy in descriptive text that the student wrote. The types of error based on Surface Strategy Taxonomy are (1) Omission (2) Addition (3) Misformation (4) Misordeing. This study used qualitative research through content analysis method. This data was classified based on several criteria. From this study the researcher conlcluded that the dominant types of errors analysis is in misformation

Abstract

This research was conducted on the basis of the importance of school financial management in carrying out the wheels of education which can have an impact on improving the quality of the school itself. Therefore, the research was conducted to identify and provide analysis of the implementation of education financial management, which includes planning, organizing, implementing, controlling and accountability at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman and the factors that influence its implementation. The research method used is qualitative by using a descriptive approach to describe the phenomena that occur in this institution. SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman is the object of research because it has implemented financial management well, marked by the rapid fulfillment of learning facilities and the dynamics of ongoing school activities. From the research results it is known that: 1) management of education financial management, SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman has utilized information technology, utilizes bank service products, and financial management software. the implementation of financial management is in accordance with the stages, starting from: a) planning to compile activities, planning budgets, and determining sources of financial revenue; b) the organization includes the principal, treasurer, staff treasurer of revenue, staff of expenditure treasurers, treasurer of BOS, treasurer of BPOPP, wakasek as executor of activities; c) the implementation of activities has been carried out in accordance with the planned activity program, while the realization of the budget for budget planning is less than 100% due to the arrears of tuition fees and student activity funds that have not been paid 100% by the parents of students; d) financial management control is carried out by i) the principal of the school treasurer and budget users, ii) the government to the principal regarding the use of BOS and BPOPP funds, iii) the Muhammadiyah organization to the school principal in relation to the supervision and guidance of financial management sourced from parents students, and; e) accountability for the use of the budget is carried out by i) the treasurer and executor of activities to the principal, ii) the principal to the government regarding the use of BOS and BPOPP funds, and the principal to the Muhammadiyah organization related to funds sourced from the parents of students.

Abstract

Education is an important aspect of preparing human resources as a means of national development. The success of education in improving human resources is not from teachers' role in developing student abilities. Professional teachers are required to have skills, skills in which pedagogic skills are one of the skills of a quality classroom teacher. One of the factors that affect the quality of teacher learning is the learning model. According to Robert Slavin, this study aims to describe the concept of the STAD type cooperative learning model and the relevance of the STAD type cooperative learning model to the process skills of elementary school students. The research method uses the method of literature study or literature study. The results showed that the concept of the STAD type cooperative learning model according to Slavin is a learning model carried out through small groups consisting of 4 to 5 students in a group or team, where each team or group consists of heterogeneous students (various types of different) such as gender, ability, ethnicity and race, and each group has a tutor as a student in carrying out group learning. Furthermore, the results show that its relevance to elementary school students' skills shows that the STAD type cooperative learning model (student team achievement division) can develop elementary school student process skills, where the discussion process carried out by students through quizzes involves students actively in higher-order thinking activities. It shows that the STAD cooperative learning model (student team achievement division) is very relevant for developing the skills of elementary school students

Abstract

Nurcholish Madjid is a Muslim scholar who has contributed thoughts about religious education in the family environment. This study aims to describe Nurcholish Madjid's thoughts about religious education in the family environment. This research uses library research method. The primary data sources in this study were books by Nurcholish Madjid, while the secondary data sources were taken from various books, journals, articles that still have relevance to the research topic. To describe Nurcholis Madjid's views on religious education in the family environment, this study uses an interpretation approach. In this study, Nurcholish Madjid's interpretation of religious education is found, which is defined as a series of educational processes to develop children into human beings who are close (taqarrub) to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and have al-karimah morality. In its implementation, this achievement is carried out by exemplary methods from parents which are manifested through inculcating Islamic values ​​in all interactions with the child
