Abstract

Teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) memiliki potensi besar dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan efektif, terutama untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis AR sebagai media edukasi yang memudahkan siswa dalam menghafal kosakata benda dalam bahasa Inggris dengan menampilkan objek 3 dimensi. Menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), penelitian ini melibatkan validasi dari ahli media, ahli materi, dan responden siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert empat poin dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif serta kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi memperoleh skor kelayakan sangat tinggi dari ahli media (92,5%), ahli materi (97,5%), dan siswa (87,7%), mencerminkan bahwa aplikasi ini layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini hanya menguji validitas dan praktikalitas aplikasi tanpa mengevaluasi efektivitas secara langsung, sehingga diperlukan penelitian lanjutan untuk pengujian skala luas dan dampak jangka panjang pada hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh penggunaan media interaktif berbasis aplikasi Canva terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah pada mata pelajaran PPKn. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pre experimental dengan desain one group pre test and post test. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MIS Muhammadiyah Bontoboddia Kabupaten Gowa. Populasi yang digunakan adalah kelas IV yang terdiri dari 1 kelas sebanyak 23 peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan cara teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket dan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t nilai Sig. (2-tailed) < a atau 0,000 < 0,05 maka dapat dikatakan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata motivasi belajar sebelum dan setelah penggunaan media interaktif berbasis aplikasi Canva sehingga berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas IV MIS Muhammadiyah Bontoboddia kabupaten Gowa.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of the Mobile Legends Game on the psychosocial aspects of children. This study conducted interviews, observations, and documentation on children aged 10-12 years who actively play this game and their parents. This study was conducted for two months in the Gowok housing area, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The data collected were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method. The results of the study indicate that active participation in the Mobile Legends Game impacts children's psychosocial aspects. Social acceptance and the surrounding environment in this game influence children's identity. The rules in the game can limit the exploration of children's identity and freedom. In conclusion, active participation in the Mobile Legends game impacts children's psychosocial aspects. These findings provide further understanding of the impact of this game on children, pragmatic mindsets, and internal and external factors that influence children's psychosocial elements.

Abstract

Education increasingly recognizes that traditional teaching methods may not sufficiently engage students. This study primarily focuses on the development of the game fire education. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods to describe the development of the Virtual Software for Fire Safety Education game, involving 26 students with experience in game design and testing for initial validation. This preliminary study will guide future experiments involving senior elementary school students, providing foundational insights for further research. Findings highlight game-based learning's capacity to foster engagement and understanding in fire safety education, underscoring its broader application potential.

Abstract

This study explored translanguaging in bilingual classrooms, focusing on its impact on student engagement, language proficiency, and academic performance while examining teachers' perceptions and their implementation challenges. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study gathered qualitative data through semi-structured interviews and classroom observations and quantitative data through surveys and standardized tests involving 50 teachers and 250 students across five bilingual primary schools. The findings revealed that translanguaging practices fostered improved student engagement, comprehension, and academic performance, with significant gains in language proficiency. Teachers held positive perceptions of translanguaging, noting its potential to facilitate better learning, although they also pointed out challenges such as limited teacher training, rigid curricula, and resistance to change. The study revealed that translanguaging had a transformative impact on academic outcomes, especially in language subjects, but faced barriers to consistent implementation. The study concluded that translanguaging practices significantly enhance student engagement, comprehension, and academic performance but face challenges such as limited teacher training and curriculum rigidity, necessitating policy reforms and professional development for effective implementation. This study contributes valuable insights into the effectiveness of translanguaging in Nigerian bilingual classrooms, revealing its positive impact on academic outcomes and the need for curriculum reform, teacher training, and policy adaptation to support its implementation.
