Abstract

East Asian economic characteristics that involve the role of the state as well as the development of the industry, has been relatively creates confidence in the market so that the flow of capital, goods, and services began to lead to the region since the late 20th century. The excess of the advance of China as the new political economic power is also growing wider market in Southeast Asia. The emergence of China as the dominant country in the world political economy are not purely derived from the ability of domestic governance, but also factor disclosure strategy in East Asian economies led by the extractive industry transformation towards manufacturing industry. This expansion translates into core industry sectors in East Asia.This article is intended as a preliminary study on the degree of China's industrial sector expansion in East Asia, as well as identifying the internal factors in the expansion of China's influence. By using the approach as well as the extended behavioralism regionalism as a tool of analysis , this article finds that China is a state actor who is more emphasis on manufacturing and trade sectors of consumer goods as a strategy into an economic hegemon in its own region , formerly controlled by Japan

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social practice of independent graduation participants in the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Nagari Batu Balang, Harau District, Lima Puluh Kota District. This study uses a descriptive-based qualitative approach with the informants selected using a purposive sampling technique. In collecting data used in-depth interview techniques, involved observation, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that habitus plays a role in encouraging PKH participants in independent graduation from persistence in working, having a sense of shame, discipline, frugal, and honest. The forms of capital owned by PKH participants in independent graduation are social capital, economic capital, cultural capital, and symbolic capital. The form of the PKH arena that plays PKH participants in independent graduation is to hold monthly meetings to add insight, monthly meetings as a first step to starting a household business, conducting health checks at the Polindes and Puskesmas, paying attention to the presence of children at school, saving to open a household business, dare to open a household business, and use the land around the neighbourhood to grow vegetables and medicinal plants.

Abstract

This research describes the influence of marketing communication on the promotional team's performance at the Academy of Secretary and Management of Taruna Bakti. The research aims to measure the effectiveness of marketing communication to the getting of students and to know if there is a hidden influence between marketing communication and its execution in ASMTB. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. Further, this research is equipped with path analysis to analyze the data. The results show some staggering findings. First, there is a strong relationship between marketing communication and the business world that used ASMTB's alumnae. The relation is 0.997, and if it is interpreted, the connection is solid. Second, there is also a relationship between marketing communication and potential students that will enter ASMTB. The relation is 0.151, and if it is interpreted, the relation is very weak. The last is, there is a close relationship between marketing communication and the alumnae. The relation is 0.345, and if it is interpreted, the relation is very week.

Abstract

The restraint and seclusion could worsen condition of patients with mental disorder on several aspects as physical, psychological, and social. Objective: To identify the effects or impacts of restraint and seclusion behavior on patients with mental disorder. This systematic review was initiated to identify literatures on scientific articles which have been published between 2009-2019 in three databases as ProQuest, pubmed, and Sciencedirect. The selection was conducted in PRISMA flow-diagram and criticized through JBI tool. After 10 relevant articles were collected, they would be analyzed to be a systematic review. Most of ten researches illustrated to negative effects on physical and psychosocial aspects as a consequence of restraint and seclusion on patients with mental disorder. A few of positive effects have been also felt, but was not comparable to the negative effect. The implementation of restraint and seclusion behavior could worsen the condition of patients which became a consideration for the health officer to do intervention of restrain and seclusion on patients with mental disorder.

Abstract

BRICS is an organization to accommodate and accommodate the industrial threshold countries at the time (10 years ago), and the first time the term was used by US economist Jim O'Neal, an economist with global financial company Goldman Sachs, in 2001. BRIC is an acronym from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The BRICS leaders insist that this group will be a force of change. BRICS countries want themselves as spokespersons for developing countries. The BRICS countries together now represent almost one fifth of the global economy.

In fact, Middle East seems like"a hostage held region," where its strategicand potential geographical conditions havetriggered the presenceof foreignforcesinthe region with various political and economical interests fromtimetotime. The presence ofPersian Empire, which later on followed byOttomanTurkeyto the era of France Political Forces of Napoleon, alltried to rulethe region. Likewise, during the First and the Second World War, this area was significantly strategic because itplayed aroleinthe victory of allied countries, asa militarybaseandlogistic track. The region became more significant when oil fields were discovered in the 1940s. This had invited more foreign forces to come particularly the United Statesand the European countries. Conflict of interests of world power in the Middle East continues to put its hegemony until the present days. Variousforeign interestsinthe region,more or less, initiated conflicts in the politics of the region, particularly creating dilemma in the integration of all Arab countries.

Abstract

The aim to be achieved is to know the efforts of crisis management. The research was conducted at the University of Brawijaya in 2010-2019, based on the view of the Rector of the University of Brawijaya during his tenure, as well as a plan to deal with the crisis at Brawijaya University in 2020-2025. This evaluative study was conducted using a qualitative approach and in-depth interview methods. The informant interviewed by the Chancellor who served in the period 2010-2019, the head of UB's Public Relations. The results of this study will describe or construct in-depth interviews with research subjects so that they can provide a clear picture of Crisis Management in UB since 2010-2019. The method used in this research is indepth interviews (intensive interviews) or intensive interviews (intensive interviews) and most are not structured. To maintain data quality using checking with triangulation. The results showed that the crisis at the university which was classified specifically, had not been interpreted as a crisis in the body of the organization itself, the role of public relations was also more focused on fostering good relations with the media.

Abstract

Tabalong Regency Human Development Index shows positive growth from year to year from 68, 08 in 2013 to 70.76 in 2017. The Implementation of the development movement policy towards prosperous communities or “Gerbang Emas Sejahtera” has been proven successful in increasing the HDI of Tabalong Regency. However, this policy is still felt to be less than optimal in terms of the welfare of the community because here the nature of the policy is still top-down where the government's role is still very dominant in terms of being a facilitator and policy initiator. Policies are needed that can provide a productive reciprocal relationship between government and society. This research tries to introduce a new model of policy implementation, namely mixed mode as a solution to the problem.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of human resources of public service providers in Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency. The research is expected to provide an understanding of the current picture of ASN conditions and what strategies are taken by the local government of Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency to improve ASN competence. The method used in this study is a qualitative analysis method by collecting data by interviewing and collecting literature related to this research. The results showed that the development of resource competencies an Investment of the One-Stop Integrated Services Office still needs to be improved, primarily managerial and socio-cultural competencies. This development can be done by making a roadmap so that development can be carried out continuously.
