Abstract

Abstract. Christian Education as an educational process that is an essential effort by teachers or educators aimed at students in the learning process. The education contains teachings, Christian values, and emphasis on the three aspects, namely: cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitude), psychomotor (skills and skills), which in the process of teaching and learning activities knowledge about the Bible including dogmas that are based on the truth of God's Word (Biblical). The subjects of Christian Religious Education are churches and schools. The Object of Christian Religious Education is teaching and learning activities consisting of believers of all ages (from children to the elderly). This research uses the literature method. The New Birth is born again by God for every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. As an implication of Christian Religious Education, one of them is about "New Birth," meaning that students must experience a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ called the New Birth.Abstrak. Pendidikan Agama Kristen sebagai proses pendidikan yang merupakan usaha sadar oleh pengajar atau pendidik yang ditujukan kepada anak didik dalam proses pembelajarannya yang berisikan ajaran-ajaran, nilai-nilai kekristenan serta penekanannya kepada ketiga aspek pendidikan yaitu: kognitif (pengetahuan), afektif (sikap), psikomotor (skill dan keterampilan), dimana dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar pengetahuan tentang Alkitab termasuk dogma-dogma yang berdasarkan pada kebenaran Firman Tuhan (Alkitabiah). Subyek Pendidikan Agama Kristen adalah gereja dan sekolah. Obyek Pendidikan Agama Kristen adalah kegiatan belajar  mengajar terdiri dari orang-orang percaya dari segala usia (dari anak-anak sampai pada lansia). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur. Sebagai implikasi dari Pendidikan Agama Kristen salah satunya tentang “Kelahiran baru” artinya peserta didik harus mengalami perjumpaan secara pribadi dengan Tuhan Yesus Kristus yang disebut dengan Kelahiran Baru.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the results of biblical interpretation of Paul's teachings about the gift of prophecy contained in 1 Corinthians 14: 1-40. The writer in this research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and literature study. The object of this study is the biblical perspective on Paul's teachings on the concept of the gift of prophecy according to 1 Corinthians chapter 14. The form of approach used is the exegesis approach in which data collection techniques are interpreting the text with the help of hermeneutic science studies and assisted by books and literature relating to the context of the gift of prophecy in 1 Corinthians. There are several findings of the principles of truth contained in the discussion as theological implications for the Corinthian church or church at that time.  First, the Gift of Prophecy Is a Gift of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12: 1-14: 40, The Apostle Paul writes about the gifts of the Holy Spirit that God bestows to believers (the body of Christ). In Christianity, spiritual gifts (or charismata) are gifts given by the Holy Spirit. Second, the Gift of Prophecy Is the First Gift, In 1 Corinthians chapter 14 Paul also explains the ultimate gift. Paul's thought is not based on the understanding that he is ordering the gifts of the Spirit. Paul had stated earlier in chapter 12 that all gifts are important and are from the same Spirit and aim to build the body of Christ (1 Cor 12: 7). Third, the Gift of Prophecy Serves to Build, Entertain and Advise. The gifts of the Spirit are given by the Holy Spirit with a specific purpose, and that purpose is given by God to believers with the intention of building up the body of Christ or His church, not for personal / commercial / profit interests.

Abstract

This paper discusses the meaning of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. In the Bible, it is written that sin blasphemes the Holy Spirit as an unforgivable sin. This, of course, contrasts with the general understanding that Christ's death on the cross took away human sin. This article has a First goal, to find the meaning of sin to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Second, find the reason why sin blaspheme the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven. This research is a qualitative research with a grammatical historical approach. As for understanding the sin of blaspheming the Holy Spirit is an act of not recognizing Jesus as God.Tulisan ini membahas makna dari menghujat Roh Kudus. Di dalam Alkitab dituliskan Dosa menghujat Roh Kudus sebagai dosa yang tidak dapat diampuni.  Hal ini tentunya bertolak belakang dengan pemahaman umum di mana kematian Kristus di kayu salib sudah menghapus dosa manusia. Artikel ini memiliki tujuan Pertama, menemukan arti dari dosa menghujat Roh Kudus. Kedua, menemukan alasan mengapa dosa menghujat Roh Kudus tidak dapat diampuni. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan historikal gramatikal. Adapaun pemahaman dari dosa menghujat Roh Kudus merupakan tindakan tidak mengakui Yesus sebagai Allah.

Abstract

One of the most hotly debated topics in the 18th century and its peak in the 19th century was The Jesus of history and The Christ of faith. This topic became very popular for the theologians and professors of the New Testament to analyze. The work done in this analysis always leads to the conclusion that the Jesus who is believed by Christians today is an unhistorical Jesus. Sources of the Gospels - The gospel held today is often considered to be inaccurate and distorted by the delusions of the gospel writers. But all the accusations of the liberal theologians are not based on historical facts and contradict the authenticity of the canonical gospels. Salah satu topik yang sangat panas diperdebatkan pada abad 18 dan puncaknya pada abad 19 adalah The Jesus of history dan The Christ of faith. Topic ini menjadi sangat popular untuk dianalisis para teolog dan para professor Perjanjian Baru.Upaya yang dilakukan dalam analisis ini selalu berujung kepada sebuah kesimpulan bahwa Yesus yang diimani oleh orang Kristen masa kini adalah Yesus yang tidak historis.Sumber Injil-Injil dipegang saat ini sering dianggap tidak akurat lagi dan sudah terdistorsi oleh khayalan para penulis Injil.Namun semua tuduhan para teolog liberal itu tidak berdasarkan fakta sejarah dan bertentangan dengan keotentikan kitab Injil Kanonik.

Abstract

There are practices to invoke the presence of God among charismatic churches in their regular and irregular meetings. Are these practices necessary? Must the presence of God be shown by certain signs? The absence of these signs causes the congregation to feel not loved, not blessed by the Lord, and do not grow spiritually. This writing researches Biblical meaning of the presence of God in the Old Testament and the New Testament. The understanding of the theological truth of the presence of God can be used by Christian leaders and congregations to apply in the followings: understanding if God’s presence needs to be invoked by His people, understanding how the church can experience the blessings from the presence of God, and dealing with the problems – of both individual and collective – which is often wrongly understood as caused by the absence of God or not being with God. Ada praktik-praktik menghadirkan Tuhan di kalangan gereja karismatik baik Kristen maupun Katolik dalam ibadah, persekutuan doa rutin dan pertemuan-pertemuan di luar itu seperti kebaktian kebangunan rohani dan retreat. Apakah praktik-praktik ini diperlukan? Apakah kehadiran Tuhan perlu disertai tanda-tanda tertentu supaya jemaat yakin bahwa Tuhan hadir? Ketiadaan tanda-tanda ini menyebabkan jemaat merasa tidak dikasihi dan tidak diberkati Tuhan, bahkan merasa tidak bisa bertumbuh kerohaniannya. Tulisan ini meneliti makna Alkitabiah dari kehadiran Allah di Perjanjian Lama dan Perjanjian Baru. Pemahaman kebenaran teologis tentang kehadiran Allah sebagaimana dipaparkan di Alkitab akan dapat dipakai oleh pemimpin dan jemaat Kristen maupun Katolik untuk diterapkan dalam: memahami apakah Tuhan perlu dihadirkan oleh manusia, memahami bagaimana agar umat Tuhan mengalami berkat kehadiran-Nya, dan menjawab persoalan-persoalan baik pribadi maupun kolektif yang sering disalah-mengerti sebagai disebabkan oleh ketidakhadiran Tuhan atau tidak disertai Tuhan.

Abstract

It is possible not to read too much about the function of religion, including for clergy and educators. This paper elaborates the function of religion based on John Saliba's book. Saliba classifies religious functions into five classifications: Explanation, Emotional, Social, Validation, and Adaptive. Research on educators (teachers and lecturers) who are not teaching in the field of Religious Education, seeks to photograph and map the extent to which they experience religion, especially Christianity, in their lives as individuals and as members of the community. Finally, through the interview data processing it was found that religion for them (the educators) turned out to be the most dominant Validation function, although other functions also appeared. Surprisingly, adaptive functions do not appear in their answers. Does that mean the adaptive function is not important? Furthermore, how does the church respond to these diverse religious functions? These questions will be answered in this paper. Ada kemungkinan tidak terlalu banyak membaca tentang fungsi agama, termasuk bagi kaum rohaniwan maupun pendidik. Tulisan ini mengelaborasi fungsi agama berdasarkan buku John Saliba. Saliba membuat pengklasifikasian fungsi agama menjadi lima klasifikasi: Eksplanasi, Emosional, Sosial, Validasi, dan Adaptif. Penelitian terhadap para pendidik (guru dan dosen) yang bukan mengajar bidang Pendidikan Agama, berusaha untuk memotret dan memetakan sejauh mana mereka menghayati agama, khususnya Kristen, di dalam kehidupan mereka sebagai pribadi dan sebagai anggota masyarakat. Akhirnya, melalui pengolahan data hasil wawancara didapati kenyataan bahwa agama bagi mereka (para pendidik) ternyata fungsi Validasi nampak paling dominan, meskipun juga nampak fungsi-fungsi lain. Yang mengejutkan, fungsi adaptif tidak muncul dalam jawaban mereka. Apakah itu berarti fungsi adaptif tidak penting? Selanjutnya, bagaimana gereja menyikapi fungsi-fungsi agama yang beraneka rupa ini? Pertanyaan-pertanyaan ini akan dijawab dalam tulisan ini.

Abstract

Religion has two effects, positive effects and negative effects for human. The positive effects are through the religion people can foster brotherhood, give strength for them who are suffered, give sense of security and give sense of belonging among religious adherents. The negative effects are religion can be as a provocation and a trigger of conflict. Because of the certain concerns, the religion can be as a media to achieve their purpose. The religion can be as a media to destroy and provoke among religious adherents so that it causes people kill each other. Through the reflective dialogue religious adherents invite to interpret cognitive, affective, psychomotoric aspects as a thing that has relation each other. This dialogue is really suitable as a media in religion context in Indonesia, in order to reduce the religious conflict. When this dialogue done continuously and consistently based on one nation feeling and love to accept, understand and cooperate each other will create a harmony life in diversity. Agama memiliki dua efek, yakni efek positif dan negatif bagi manusia. Efek yang positif, melalui agama orang bisa memupuk persaudaraan, memberi kekuatan bagi mereka yang sedang menderita, memberi perasaan aman serta rasa saling memiliki diantara pemeluk seagama. Sedangkan efek negative, agama  dapat dijadikan alat provokasi dan menjadi pemicu konflik. Karena alasan kepentingan tertentu, agama dapat berfungsi sebagai sarana mencapai tujuannya. Agama dijadikan alat pemecah belah dan provokasi  antar pemeluk agama, sehingga memicu konflik yang mengakibatkan saling membunuh antar esame manusia. Melalui dialog reflektif  umat beragama diajak untuk dapat memaknai aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotoris sebagai hal yang saling berhubungan. Dialog reflektif ini sangat cocok dipakai sebagai sarana dialog dalam konteks keberagaman agama di Indonesia, untuk mereduksi konflik antar umat beragama. Bilamana dialog ini  dilakukan  secara terus menerus dan konsisten dengan mengedepankan sikap sebagai satu anak bangsa yang dilandasi dengan cinta kasih untuk saling menerima, saling memahami, saling menghargai dan saling bekerja sama, maka akan tercipta sebuah kehidupan yang harmoni dalam keberagaman.

Abstract

For some time, researchers have observed that the delivery of Christian radio sermons in Semarang was not as expected. For example, about sermons that are tedious, irrelevant, unclear, monotonous, unappealing, lacking in-depth discussion about less practical applications, and so on. Based on the background of the problem, the purpose of this study is to find out how to evaluate the preparation and after the delivery of sermons on Christian radios in Semarang. To get detailed data, researchers conducted a literature study and tested the statement with Expert Validation (in this case, the one who did it was a Supervising Lecturer), then the researcher then conducted an interview. The research method used is a qualitative method and descriptive. The number of participants in this study consisted of 72 preachers as both fillers and listeners of the program Christian radio stations in Semarang, and 5 Christian radio administrators in Semarang as data completeness. The overall results of the study indicate that the evaluation of the preparation and after the delivery of sermons on Christian radios in Semarang is well categorized. By relying on the Holy Spirit, the network / signal is not interrupted, the receiver and transmitter are good, the preparation and weight of the sermon material, the composition of the sermon in Explanation, Illustration and proportional application, according to the needs of the listener, applicative, and the delivery method are lived, varied, clear, interesting. Thus, the ministry of radio preaching will be able to reach more and more souls and the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is increasingly glorified!Beberapa lama ini peneliti mengamati bahwa pelaksanaan pelayanan khotbah radio-radio Kristen di Semarang kurang sebagaimana diharapkan. Misal, tentang khotbah yang menjemukan, tidak relevan, tidak jelas, monoton, tidak menarik, pembahasan kurang mendalam penerapan yang kurang mengena, dan lain-lain.Berdasar latar belakang masalah tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana evaluasi persiapan dan setelah penyampaian khotbah di radio-radio Kristen di Semarang. Untuk mendapat data secara rinci, peneliti melakukan Studi Pustaka dan menguji pernyataan dengan Validasi Ahli (dalam  hal ini, yang melakukannya adalah Dosen Pembimbing), baru kemudian peneliti melakukan wawancara Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan deskriptif. Jumlah partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 72 orang pengkhotbah sebagai pengisi sekaligus pendengar acara khotbah radio-radio Kristen di Semarang, dan 5 orang pengurus radio-radio Kristen di Semarang sebagai kelengkapan data.Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi persiapan maupun setelah penyampaian khotbah di radio-radio Kristen di Semarang dikategorikan baik. Dengan bergantung pada Roh Kudus, jaringan/sinyal tidak terganggu, receiver dan transmitter baik, persiapan dan materi khotbah berbobot, komposisi khotbah dalam Penjelasan, Ilustrasi dan aplikasi proporsional, sesuai kebutuhan pendengar, aplikatif, dan cara penyampaian dihidupi, bervariasi, jelas, menarik. Dengan demikian, pelayanan khotbah radio akan dapat semakin banyak menjangkau jiwa-jiwa dan nama Tuhan Yesus Kristus semakin dimuliakan!

Abstract

Love education needs to be known, lived and practiced by everyone in community life, therefore the appreciation and practice of the teachings of Christ in accordance with the truth in the Bible, can really be practiced in daily life, specifically in the life of Christian families . Implementation of education and teaching of love, not only done in the church environment, the family as informal education, starting from the family, children are educated by parents, about education of gratitude that comes from the truth of the word of God, to seek back the meaning of values thank you education which is starting to erode. The influence of the times and the influence of globalization in an increasingly advanced and developing world, the role of parents is increasingly needed in relation to financial problems, attitudes and strengthening of children, making children in relationships with others who are not in accordance with teachings that are in accordance with the truth of God's Word. To overcome the smooth implementation of education and teaching in the family, the role of parents is needed in guiding children, to get their lives closer to God, through praying and reading the Bible regularly every day. Relationships between all families in the community are needed among the community to support each other, arrange harmony, avoid the nature of mutual arguments, stay away from jealousy, stay away from feelings of resentment and also improve harmony within the family and in the community he visits.
