Even the news related to his case was able to match the election news at that time. Although this issue should not be discussed too much, in fact almost all Indonesian people know about this case. Abstract

Ethics is a science that seeks orientation for human efforts to answer a very fundamental question, how should I live and act. Meanwhile, power is the effort of an individual or group to influence others according to the wishes of the perpetrator. Ethics and power are two very important positions in the political frame. even these two terms have been discussed since ancient Greece, because they can affect the running of the government. Because if these two terms are not used in their capacity, this will result in the instability of a country, or even give birth to a rebellion. Machiavelli as a political figure in the Renaissance era has succeeded in creating a work that combines the royal system (monarchy) and the Republic. which he titled The Prince and The Discaurses, although at first they were addressed to the Medici family who regained control of Florence. From these two books, lessons can be drawn on how a leader (King) should control, manage, and take care of the staff, as well as the people in order to create a prosperous country, and be able to achieve glory, and be respected by the people and other countries. The concept of "justifying all means" that many people know from Machiavelli seems to have become a label for him. Yet we ourselves have not tried to study Machiavelli's political concepts in detail. And we also don't know why many world dictators use the Machiavelli concept in realizing practical politics in their countries, which are implemented with an iron fist. Do they actually use this Machiavelli concept kaffah (totally), or only half-heartedly in order to preserve their power? Because Machiavelli once said that the purpose of power is only for the sake of maintaining stability, and the welfare of the country, not only for individual interests.

Abstract

Majapahit and Demak were the two most influential Javanese kingdoms of their time. The two kingdoms are located in the same area, namely Java, but have many differences, including the problem of the concept of the legitimacy of power and the authority of the power possessed by the kings. As a Javanese kingdom that still holds the ancestral traditions of the two kingdoms, it is strengthened by religious teachings that are quite influential. Majapahit which adheres to Hindu-Buddhist religion and Demak adheres to Islamic teachings. The legitimacy that was later obtained by the Javanese rulers was the legitimacy of descent where the next royal ruler was the crown prince or a close relative of the kingdom, although the succession of leadership in order to gain legitimacy of power was not only obtained in a smooth way, namely there were several power struggles that ended in civil war, one example is the struggle for power for the sake of legitimacy, there was a war called Paregreg during the Majapahit era. Demak, which is different from Majapahit, still relies on genealogy as a reinforcement of the legitimacy of its power in the eyes of the people. Raden Fatah is the son of Brawijaya V, the last ruler of Majapahit. This certainly indicates that the legitimacy of descent became very dominant in the state administration of the ancient Javanese kingdoms. After a leader gains legitimacy, it will turn into a power authority that will be owned. Given the concept of centralized Majapahit power, so that the authority of power then lies in the hands of the king directly,

Abstract

Marketing science as a discipline that develops in the business world is assumed to be useful for political institutions. The methods and approaches contained in marketing science can help political institutions to bring political products to their constituents and society at large. Political institutions can use marketing methods in preparing political products, distributing political products to the public and ensuring that their political products are superior to competitors. Political marketing has become a phenomenon, not only in political science, but also raises various questions for marketers who have been used to it in the context of the business world. The 2009 elections, both legislative and presidential elections, provide evidence that political marketing plays an important role in the success of a candidate. both legislative and presidential candidates. The victory of the Democratic Party is the fruit of the political branding carried out by SBY, as chairman of the advisory board. SBY-Boediono's victory cannot be separated from Fox Indonesia's role as a drafter for SBY's personal branding. The 2009 presidential election is different from the previous one, currently the connection between the legislative and presidential elections is very strong. SBY's victory in the 2009 presidential election, apart from the political marketing support carried out by Fox Indonesia, either directly or indirectly, such as financing survey institutions to form opinions, starting from SBY's victory, to the one-round election, turned out to be successful in influencing the voting public. This is inseparable from the trend of using political consulting institutions for parties who want to run for leadership candidates at various levels of government, even up to the president. The existence of political consultants in Indonesia has brought about a change in the world of politics in the archipelago.
