Abstract

The transmission system plays an important role in maintaining the continuity of the distribution of electrical energy from one region to another. Disturbances in transmission lines are caused by short circuits, overloads, lightning surges, natural disturbances and others. For this reason, a protection system is needed that is reliable and can identify disturbances quickly while protecting the disturbed part of the system from other parts that can still operate normally. However, the protection system can experience operational failure due to various factors, therefore, apart from the main protection, backup protection is needed which can work when the main protection fails to work. Distance relays can be used as primary protection as well as remote backup protection on high voltage overhead lines. Meanwhile, the overcurrent relay is used as local backup protection if the distance relay fails to work. In this paper, a protection system is designed for the Buduran Main Substation channel using a combination of distance relays as main protection and overcurrent relays as backup protection using simulation method the Digsilent Power Factory. The overcurrent relay will trip at 0.5 and 0.15 seconds. From the Load Flow results, the value is obtained = 3,615 kA, = 4,67 kA and The range impedance according to the conductor cable data at the Buduran region 0,9676, Zone1 1 0,79Ω; 80%, Zone2 1,19Ω; 120% dan Zone3 as 1,48Ω is 150%. Thus the research can be declared successful in carrying out overcurrent protection

Abstract

The problem in this research is currently, public information to every village community is not carried out effectively because public information is carried out directly so that people who want to know village information must come directly to the Ngestiboga Village office 1. For the process of serving the letters needed by the community through a long process. The community must take care of, for example, a cover letter from the head of the hamlet and then forward it to the Ngestiboga 1 Village Office, where to carry out the service process to take care of the letters is difficult for the community because it is a long process. This study used data collection methods by conducting observations in Ngestiboga 1 Village, Jayaloka District, interviews with staff or the head of Ngestiboga 1 Village, Jayaloka District and literature on books related to the author's title, The results of the research are Public Information System Design and Rubber Production Prediction, the application is built using the PHP programming language with MYSQL as the application database and the application interface is built based on a Website and nave Bayes will be used as an algorithm for rubher production prediction. It can be concluded that the system can provide information and public services online to the community of Ngestiboga I Village, Jayaloka District and apply the Naive Bayes Algorithm so as to produce information on rubber production in the future.

Abstract

Information Technology at this time has developed rapidly throughout the world. Currently information technology can help facilitate all human work in managing information optimally in contrast to what was felt when the technology era was not as sophisticated as this. The library is a place established with the aim of being a place to collect printed and recorded knowledge. Inside it has several collections of books that have been arranged in such a way as possible by giving numbering according to the available book categories so that visitors can easily and correctly use them. In a number of borrowing activities that are very many every day, the library sometimes feels confused about telling which books to borrow because of the irregularity of the book layout, this is still considered not optimal because the library cannot know how often the book is borrowed or how often the book is borrowed. visitors who feel confused to look for books that are often borrowed. In the process of determining the layout of books at the Medan City Regional Library, 100 categories of books are used in book lending transactions for up to 30 or 31 days or for a month. This is done to find out the determination of the layout of the book according to the number of loan transactions at the Medan City regional library. Then we need a system that uses data mining, namely the a priori method. This method can assist in determining the pattern of determining the layout of books according to the needs of the regional library. The results obtained are: If you choose a book in the General Publication category, you also choose an Indonesian language book with a support value of 40% and a Confidence value of 75%, conversely if you choose a book in the Indonesian Language category, you borrow a book in the General Publication category with a support value of 40% and a Confidence value of 70%.

Abstract

The number of cases of the spread of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) in Beringin Country Village every year has increased for this reason, it is necessary to handle dengue hemorrhagic fever so that the spread does not increase dengue hemorrhagic fever cases every year. The vast natural conditions of Banyan Country Village make it difficult to monitor the spread of diseases based on the most cases. This causes slow prevention and control of the disease. For this reason, it is necessary to group or cluster diseases based on the number of cases that occur each year. This study aims to apply the K-Medoids algorithm to group dengue hemorrhagic fever data based on the number of cases each year. The process of solving problems can be done by processing data. Data mining is a data processing process for extracting information stored in the data set, in data mining the process of grouping data for the process of handling dengue hemorrhagic fever is included in clustering techniques. The K-medoids algorithm is a limiting clustering method for grouping a collection of objects into clusters. The data used is in the form of data on dengue sufferers, from 2017-2022. Test results were obtained for high cluster dengue disease of 72 members and low 28 members. The K-medoids algorithm can help facilitate the process of forming dengue hemorrhagic fever treatment clusters. Testing using manual calculations and the Rapidminer application gets the same results as the system. This shows that the system has worked well.

Abstract

Load Frequency Control (LFC) is a system that works as a unit with the boiler-turbine-generator system which functions to maintain a frequency of 50 HZ by giving control to the governor system at the power plant when the peak load position results in a decrease in frequency, later LFC instructs the turbine governor to open a valve to drain the steam generated from the boiler system. In this study, we compared the performance of two controllers on LFC, namely PID and ANFIS through Matlab simulations. The simulation results show that the Setlling Time of the ANFIS Mamounia control is 76% faster than the PID control. ANFIS control can respond to changes in load to steady state frequency conditions with an error of 0.6% which is more effective than the PID control.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic as we have experienced lately has overwhelmed the community so that activities in various fields are hampered, one of which is in the field of education where the government shifts face-to-face learning to learning which can be done with various visual media such as Classroom, Zoom, Google Meet, E-learning and so on. Due to the large number of media that can be used for learning, a determination is needed to choose a face-to-face online learning application. In the determination, a system is needed, namely a decision support system where this system can provide efficient and objective decisions based on predetermined methods and data. , in this study determine the WP (Weighted Product) method as a decision-making tool which is part of the DSS method. And by setting 5 alternatives or applications that are calculated and determined the 5 criteria that are used as requirements in order to produce the right decision. So from the problems above, this study was made which discusses the implementation of the WP method in determining the application used for face-to-face during online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. Based on the implementation of this method, a face-to-face online learning application is produced, namely the A3 alternative, namely Elearning with a preference value of 0.341.

Abstract

It's important to understand how much it costs to rent a boarding room. Determining rental prices presents a challenge for many boarding house business owners. Boarding house owners must have an intelligence system that can be used as a decision-making tool in order to accurately calculate the cost of renting a boarding room in the interest of efficiency. If the boarding house business owner sets the rental price inappropriately, then he will not get the maximum profit. This research uses the Fuzzy Tsukamoto method using 2 input variables, namely facilities and room area. This system is designed to help boarding house business owners find out the room rental price in accordance with the criteria determined when starting this business. To calculate room rental prices accurately, boarding house owners can utilize this research to determine accurate room rental prices based on the quality of the room space. so that their room rental cost calculation problems can be solved properly. And based on the test results, it shows that according to the calculation of Fuzzy Tsukamoto with the criteria of facilities and room area that has been entered, the price of a room with 4 items of facilities and a room area of 12m2 is Rp. 673,000.

Abstract

Civil Servant (PNS) is a person who is a member of a government institution to provide services to the public and is appointed permanently and gets a position in office while a Non Civil Servant Government Employee (PPNPN) is an employee who is elected by an official in the agency to carry out tasks certain employees in these agencies as well as honorary employees listed in the BKN database who work in government agencies for a maximum of 5 years of service. In this study, the authors are interested in using 2 methods, namely the MOORA method and the ROC method as weighting, where these two methods are very suitable to be combined so as to get the best alternative and calculate all the tricks that really support decision making, in order to simplify the processing steps. Abstract

The use of gas can have both good and bad effects, the good effect is increasing the effectiveness of cleaner heat production and reducing the concentration of pollutants in the air. Gas cylinders that explode as a result of human error or errors in the production process of LPG gas cylinders or gas hoses should receive immediate treatment so that they do not become more dangerous and result in more victims. Efforts can be made to reduce this incident by detecting the smell of gas from leaks in gas cylinders by a gas sensor implemented by a microcontroller. How this microcontroller-based gas leak detector works in a home can be seen in the MQ-2 Sensor. If the sensor detects a gas leak (MQ-2) in the room, the buzzer will light up as an alarm that a gas leak has occurred and the Arduino will give a command to the SIM800L GSM module to send an SMS notification to the home owner's cellphone. This tool works by reading gas levels which are tested using a portable stove with a gas source via a portable gas cylinder which contains the same butane compound as the compound in LPG gas. If the gas level is detected by the mq-2 sensor, an alarm will automatically come on indicating an occurrence. gas leak in the room. then the Arduino nano orders the SIML800 GSM module to send an SMS to the home owner that there has been a gas leak in the house so that the home owner can find out and replace the hose or regulator on the gas cylinder.

Abstract

Utilizing solar energy as an alternative energy source for Indonesia's electricity needs is very appropriate because it is located in a tropical area with hot sunlight available all year round. Considering that in rural areas in Indonesia there are still many public road accesses that are not equipped with street lighting and the problem stems from the use of conventional electrical energy as a source of street lighting. The use of photovoltaics (PV) as a tool to produce electrical energy with the advantages of being environmentally friendly, low maintenance costs and zero emissions and the energy needed is available in nature and is always renewable (renewable energy). The 1 DOF (Degree OF Freedom) solar tracker mechanic is used to find the point where the sunlight is optimal, which aims to produce maximum solar panel output during energy conversion. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that solar-powered public street lighting (PJU-TS) using a mechanical solar tracker delay of 2 seconds produces a daily energy conversion of 235.20 Wh, which is more optimal than solar-powered public street lighting (PJU-TS) with solar tracker delay. 2.5 seconds amounting to 218.75 Wh and solar powered public street lighting (PJU-TS) without a solar tracker amounting to 171.34 Wh.
